Chaska Indian Street Food

😐 I've gotta say the concept is fantastic. Street Indian food! Love the idea. As a person born and raised in Canada by Indian parents, my palate for Indian food is quite different then the general public. I ordered the mint chicken kathi roll with egg. First off, I found the food to be underwhelm... People often mention good, Indian, chicken, service, roll, Chaska, staff, location, bowl,

I've gotta say the concept is fantastic. Street Indian food! Love the idea. As a person born and raised in Canada by Indian parents, my palate for Indian food is quite different then the general public. I ordered the mint chicken kathi roll with egg. First off, I found the food to be underwhelming, the chicken was dried out, samosas are nothing special. Portion size was on the small side as well. I really wished they had a chicken or a beef samosa. The food here is nothing special for Indians and must be amazing for the non-indians(they wouldn't know what good Indian food is) and from my guess that's who they're targeting. There are so many better options out there.

A pleasant surprise with Desi food hiding very close to Eaton Mall in a basement food court of one of the building ... a little pricey though for that food court experience. Staff is quick and energetic! Food is also good. Quantity is sumptuous so be cautious whilst ordering! For 2 dishes, it can be around $25 to $30. Packaging and presentation is very good!

Has exceeded expectations. Lots of unique flavors and combinations. The samosas are somehow perfectly crispy on the outside and savory inside, without tasting greasy. The samosas chatt can come as a side or a main and never disappoints. Cant go wrong with just about anything on the menu. For a healthy option I recommend the mixed plate. The salads are also an option, but truly were a bit disappointing in comparison to other items on the menu.

Chaska always has very tasty food! My only gripe is the price point. It’s quite expensive for the amount you get. This is more of a “snack” place and less of a “full meal” location. If you’re super hungry, then this won’t be a “bang for your buck”, but it is a party for the tastebuds!

I would leave zero star if I could. Waste of money and time as food quality is not good. Terrible and pathetic customer service, poor food quality (too cold and raw) and at least they must have cooked it better. Never visit this store again.

From sweet to savoury, This place has something for all our Indian street food cravings. I ordered Mint chicken with egg Kathi roll and Mango Lassi What best I like about them is customer service. They greet and prepare your meal with dedication. Don’t forget to treat yourself with their desserts. I'm coming back here again, definitely!

Love this place. I ordered the rice bowl with chicken tikka and it didn’t disappoint. Rich flavours in the salsa, delicious spices and tender chicken. Would recommend for a quick and delicious lunch.

Located at the lower level on Atrium by Bay, Chaska is a well known spot for Indian Street food. I tried the non vegetarian rice bowl. Although the quantity was good, the curry seemed watery. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hygiene concerns: the female indian employee was making a phone call with one hand while preparing food with the other. The herbs in my food also look rotten.

Placed an order via uber eats for a chicken rice bowl and paneer rice bowl. Got the order delivered after 90 mins stone cold and just with one paneer bowl. Chicken bowl missing. Called the driver too and was told there was just one package from the restaurant. Definitely not worth the wait, money, food n taste

Tried the pav bhaji here and it was good, really good. Cost wise it's pricey, 8.99$ for pav bhaji. The happy hour menu pricing seems exciting (3pm to 6pm) where pav bhaji is listed for 5.99$. Will try all the happy hour menu in coming weeks. Initial reaction: promising

Quick Review: Stumbled upon this restaurant while passing by, and my colleague and I were in the mood for chai. Priya made a fresh batch for us, and it turned out to be the best tea I've had in Toronto. We will definitely be back for the tea. Thanks!

Truly a hidden gem inside the atrium. This place always fulfills my Indian street food cravings and the food is top notch. Their kathi roll and samosa is the best you can get in the city.Shout out to the Manager Ms. Prachi for being very courteous and always welcoming me and my friends and ensuring we leave the place with stomach and hearts full. Highly recommended.

This place has the closest indian taste for tea. One of the staff Mandeep runs her magic on every tea she makes. Must go!

Tried chicken kathi roll, it was delicious! Mandeep provided excellent service as I went with my friends 15 minutes before closing yet she made it soo good. She was very polite and helpful. 10/10 will try again :-)

Decided to get one of their roti wraps to go, and it's not too bad for what it offers. Nice and quick roti to eat on the go.

This small Indian chat/ snack place is best for quick bite and take out. Limited choices and portion size but tastes good.

The worst food.. would never recommend this place for chat. Not worth the money. I tried the pani puri when the pani puri water was tasting like tamarind chutney very sour and the Samosa poutine was like dal makni gravy over samosa and 2 small pieces of the cheese curds to call it a samosa poutine..

Really nice service with friendly staff and very tasty food though I preferred their rolls to their samosas.

Chaska Atrium ❌❌❌ I come to Chaska on a regular basis and yesterday I visited Atrium location for the first time since I was in the neighbourhood. I was very disappointed by the staff at this location. No one was wearing gloves while making my Kathi roll, the chicken was very cold and felt raw. It was absolutely garbage. The staff was very unprofessional with their customer service, hygiene is a big concern at this location. Never go to this location. Their food is good but not at this location.!

I had to wait for a while to order because there was no one! The lady was nice, the food wasn't what I wanted but I'm willing to try again and update my review.

Tried the new Indian food joint at the Atrium Food Court Bay/Dundas), the decor was vibrant with lots of interesting food on the menu, especially the chaat. I had the mixed grill plate, it was good. The meat were fresh and juicy. A place to look forward to when I don't bring my lunch. Meats are halal, no hormones or antibiotics, free run chicken and grass fed lambs.

It was my first time to try Indian food in Toronto and I was very excited. One of my friend told me to Chaska express. I went there with my friends, I was confused what dish to try. I asked our server Mandeep kaur for their best selling item, she was very help. My expercience was very good and I realy enjoyed my meal. This restaurant is located in food court but there was not much crowd. Everything was perfect and I highly recomend to visit.
