Spectacular place to enjoy some good quality time with friends, enjoying games and food. The place have 100s of different games categorized into easy, medium and difficult further sorted as strategy, thrill, fun and so on. The trainers are really kind enough to understand your preference and recommend as well as explain games that you enjoy. Pretty huge seating area but also is very busy especially on weekends. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations. The cafe is open till 2am on weekends which is the best thing. Overall, pretty organized space, great food and excellent customer service. They charge 8$ / person for playing games. Highly recommend the place for a game night with great vibe.

It was my first time and what a great place to play board games, social and eat. We love the variety of games they have, and how the game masters are able to suggest new games for us to try out. Foodwise — the snakes salad was absolutely delicious. The chicken was seared well and everything was well seasoned, good amount and so good. Now I’m thinking of making it at home 🙈 The BBQ chicken quesadilla was also very good and cooked well. We also had some breadsticks, tacos and grilled chicken sandwiches. They were all pretty decent! I also love that the menu has lots of vegan / vegetarian options. The only downside was that service was a bit slow. We were told that the machines were acting up a little, and also perhaps we were there on a Friday night, 7-10pm. Otherwise, such a fun night with friends, we’ll definitely be back!

Very good service, as the waiter was friendly and provided great service. Everytime I've gone here the staff are nice and it's great they game someone to help figure out the games. Their Nutella latte has been my favorite thing and continues to be, their other food is alright too.

Price: $8 for play if you order food/drinks otherwise $15 cover for games alone. Food and drinks are priced fair 12-15$ meals My experience: we didn't play games but the savoury waffle was pretty good. The fingerling potatoes side is awesome. The lattes seem super cute, recommend the Nutella latte. Service is amazing, the server filled our water multiple times and was pleasant, cheerful and overall made it a positive experience. The space is pretty big and I love the concept, ill be back 👾

We had butter chicken and the spinach dip- both of which exceeded our expectations! The spinach dip was hot and cheesy. The butter chicken was of good quantity and super creamy too. They were accommodating for our big group. We were able to get our separate bill with ease. Of course the games were a fun addition!

Great spot to play board games, eat good food, and enjoy fab drinks. That's butter chicken and Margherita flat bread in the pic. You might just see the edge of a lovely glass of apricot wheat beer. Visit 2? sausage board and Nachos, and an awesome Nidywon ESB.

AMAZING place for people who love to play board games & want to spend some fun time with their partner/friends. Everything about this cafe is incredible. They have the most welcoming and nice staff, super delicious food and so many board games to choose from. Their staff will provide you 100% assistance if you’re confused on which board game to play and how to play. Definitely visiting them again soon!

A good place to spend time with your friends. They have good amount of games and also game experts to help you with game rules. You can Easily spend 5 hours here. They have variety of food options available. The milkshakes were good. Pop corn was a bit of disappointment.

This place has a variety of board games options and charge a $8 cover fee per person to access the games. There's a very knowledgeable gentleman there, who helps you find a game and also explains you how to play it with your friends. The food and drink menu does not have a wide variety of options and also the food and coffee here was very basic. I would suggest visiting this place with friends who are really interested to okay for a few hours to fully utilise the cover charge you're expensing. My bill ended up being $32, and I ordered just one main and a shareable (which costed $5 for my share) They charge 15% gratuity if you are a group of 5 or more, which also impacted for bill to be higher. So for Students's on budget, I would suggest get the shareable and just a coffee to stay under $25 per person, because the food isn't that great anyways. Focus on the games!!!

Ordered a mocha and I was surprised that it wasn't bad. They do have a wide selection of games but we were slightly disappointed they didn't have this one game we were hoping to play. The manager was also super nice and helped us find a specific game and warned us there would be a lot of instruction reading. Very spacious and price very acceptable for the hours we can spend playing board games

Snakes and Lattes is an incredible place to visit with friends and is easily a place worth revisiting. One of the best board game cafes Toronto has to offer, paying a relatively in-expensive base fee to have unlimited playtime makes is incredibly worthwhile. Of the many locations, what makes the Annex location special is how extensive its menu is. Which is the most diverse of all the locations in Toronto. Notably, the Annex location is the only location in Toronto to serve shakes and sundaes, definitely worth keeping in mind! Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They are also more than willing to chat and give recommendations for some of their favourite games. Though sometimes they may get busy during late nights and weekends, so definitely keep that in mind. Foodwise, some menu items are a hit, others a miss, though I can say all are worth trying at least once. I highly recommend the pierogis and any of the milkshakes!

Loved it. A great for location for my first Dungeons & Dragons session. Staff were friendly and had tons of recommendations. I've been to other locations before, and the building uses its space efficiently and there are many tables, chairs and coffee bar stools. Plus multiple washrooms. For food I had the Perogiws (option of breadcrumbs or bacon bits) with a Cappuccino and Apple Cider later in the evening. Highly recommend the Hot Apple Cider. If you're planning a visit bring one or two friends, play Cards Against Humanity, order food and drink, and just have a good time. You'll want to come back and I'm definitely coming back here. Thanks for reading. 5/5

I find the "game sitting fee" a bit expensive ($8/adult, $4/child), especially considering that we were primarily interested in coming in for some treats (coffee/hot chocolate/a little something sweet) and didn't have much time to actually sit and play games. Having said that, the service was excellent, the food was good, the coffee was surprisingly good (!!!) and we did end up playing a couple of games with our 6 year old. Vibe was cool, family-friendly, but also appealing to a wide variety of age ranges.

I really adore the concept of Snakes & Latte and particularly this branch! We had the best night thanks to our amazing server, Max and I’ll definitely be revisiting soon!! Highly recommend the What Do You Meme and Scruples games!!

Great collection of games. Highly recommended spot for group games and fun filled dates. The staff is very friendly and polite. They make suggestions and also explain the game rules which is helpful in making a choice while picking a game. Good spot for parents - kids. The prices are updated recently and a 10$ charge per person is charged for playing. Worth a visit!

$10 per person to play games, good drink deals. After 9PM got a pint and a massive bowl of popcorn (with flavor) for $8. Daily drink specials, good selection of games, inclusive space. Best part: the game master made recommendations and was hilarious.

Omg!! This is the best place for people who love to play Boardgames, forget about time, and enjoy mind-blowing food/drink/service while doing so. It was my first time here, but James (a staff) made me felt so welcomed and cared. The staff can even teach you how to play the boardgame u pick 🤯 How amazing is that! Would recommend anyone, couples or even a big group of friends, $10 per person for almost unlimited on weekdays and around 3 hours during weekends. 🥹🥰 This place is heaven

While the food was good (party nachos, good for a snack for 8), and there are tons of games, we were very disappointed that we weren’t told about the time limit. We were encouraged to choose lots of games, order food, and then were abruptly told we had 15-20 minutes to finish our game and get out. Someone later came and said it was okay, we could take 30, but if we had known from the beginning, we would’ve played differently. You’re told $10 per person, but not REALLY what you’re paying for. Otherwise everything was good.

This was my first time at Snakes & Lattes and I had so much fun! Awesome selection of board games to choose from (and there are a lot)! The place was clean, the games were very organized, the staff were friendly and the menu selection was decent. The s'mores milkshake was pretty good, it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, which was nice. The perogies were a little dry and not as fresh but that's okay. Overall, you come here for a good time with friends, family, or a date playing games and not think so much of the food. I recommend coming here!

Amazing place to hang out with friends and family. It costs $10/per person for 3hrs to play the games. They even have a menu with snacks, desserts, and drinks (they serve non-alcoholic drinks too). The menu also serves vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; this place is crowded but you get to play for 3hrs. The day we went, at the time waiters said we can stay past the 3hr limit as it was close to closing time. Side note: the customer service was amazing and they accommodated our needs seamlessly!! They have a lot of known and obscure games (ex: monopoly, codename, Brain fart, Stacks Cups, Just Name It). The customer service was so great that they even show you how to play the games (if requested), and recommend games according to the number of people in your group. The food is okay: the chips & dip were salty, the watermelon Sicilian pudding wasn't set, the pretzel bites tasted amazing, and the skillet cookie w/ ice cream was delicious. The Sour Key, Fuzzy Peach, and Nutella latte were among our favorite drinks, and the Skull drink is very similar to a flat Sri Lankan ginger beer. Would recommend all to come here and try the games, food, and drinks! ** Disclaimer: I may have gotten the names of the games wrong 🙃

The stafff is amazing amazinggg and amazing! Their game master is A MASTER! Really loved the place, we ended up staying their around 4+ hours! Loved their chips and onion dip! Hits different!!! Do check the place out if you live board games!

Food and coffee was excellent! The amount of boardgames to play and try out had diverse mix, and a staff member even offered to help setup and explain the games. The staff was very friendly and felt really relaxed and even safe with their covid protocols at the time. Glad we went early before it started to get abit more busy or loud, but will definitely come back again!

They are stocked so well with classic board games as well as lesser-known games. They have a games guru who basically knows every game and will give you a crash course on how to play. Our guru at the time, Joan, was SO LOVELY and sat down with us and made sure we had a great time and learned the game well. Great suggestions as well. Food is good, a little expensive for the quality but I guess that is how they make their money. As long as the table orders something to eat or drink, the admission fee is lowered from $15 to $8. Don’t go anywhere else if you want a board game cafe!!!

A nice board game cafe! Typical mid eastern fare that cater to students ! Staff was friendly enough except for the poor job that a host did while explaining why I was assigned a certain table.

Haven't been here since before the pandemic, but glad to see they are doing well! Came here with a couple friends on a Saturday evening. We got a table without a reservation or a wait (though the subways were a mess that day so I don't know if that's the norm). Place was quite clean and they had plastic barriers between groups which is great. Staff would regularly come by to ask if we wanted anything else, clean our tables, and to let us in on gaming tips. Prices have gone up so they now have an $8 game fee and minimum $15 for food, but I think it's worth it, especially since you can stay as long as you want. Thanks for the wonderful evening!

Love this place! So many cool board games sorted by categories so it’s easy to find what you want. Good beer too. Food could be better, but the board games are the main attraction.
