Somehow this place is still open for business under the name Elevate Rooms Yiju Guesthouse. Nothing in the room was clean  (sticky stuff on the nightstand, dusty dirt on the bed spread, stains on the sheets, scuff marks all over the walls, water damage on the ceiling). In the bathroom, the shower head was broken, there were no hand towels, no hand soap,  the shower curtain was moldy, there was hair in the shower, and the toilet seat was not clean (pee drip on the seat). The door to the room was flimsy with no deadbolt or chain, and there was only one lamp to light the whole room (no switch for the overhead light).  However, it was a quiet building on a quiet street.  BUT NOT CLEAN, not worth 100/night!

one star because I couldn't give zero...but place to avoid (no heating, dirty, dusty, stained sheets and hair on pillow, cobweb, leftover half-rotted food in the fridge, used handkerchief under the convenient)...

Looks like a hostel. Could not deal with dirty conditions.

Noisy environment, poor cleaning (trash from previous people in the bedside table) Furthermore, an establishment close to the city center, well served by public transport.

Has fire safety issues. Best avoid.

This place should be condemned. What a dump.

Good for a single, low budget traveler

I did not receive the mail with the checkin data (no reception) but the gentleman i called was very nice and helpful. The rooms are very basic but clean. Location is ok, there wete some crazy homeless guys at the street corner but i always felt safe. Overall a good deal I d say. Visited in September 17.

Would not recommend! We arrived in toronto and pulled up by the building, parked then called the "front desk" and went into our room. We noticed cardboard on most of the window, dirty room, the kitchen was very nasty and no tv(not the biggest issue). We left the house and we returned several hours later to find a parkig ticket on our car! They told us parking was 10$ a night. We called them and apparently we had to either have a parking permit for the road, order online for parking behind the building or find a parking garage. We didnt see anyone in our 2day stay, not very organised and not sanitary at all! I am so furious but after all you get what you pay for! Thanks yuji, ps: would rater pay a few dollars extra for a hotel with parking!
