We had a good first impression. Yes the rooms are a little bit small, but the quality of the room, the location himself and the price are very nice. The owner/renter is friendly. Its not a 'bad area' of toronto. - smart connection 2 the public.

We stayed here 2 nights. On the second night we found a bed bug. My husband and I are both health care professionals, so we knew what it was. I let the manager know and asked to be refunded 1 night. I also asked to be informed of his plan to manage the situation. The manager said the owner would have to call me as he was unable to make that decision. I left 2 messages with the manager and 1 with the owner and they never called me again. No clue if they managed the bed bug situation and I never received a refund for 1 night as I requested.

Me and my fianceΓ© stayed at room number 1. It was probably the oldest and worst room. The manager were even worse: we have never met him/her im person. We arrived at 7 am and there was nobody to receive us. We had to call a phone number they left on the door, when finally a guy came to take our bags in ONLY. We still had to wait until 3pm to finally check in and get some rest. The guy took the payment and vanished. The carpet is dirty, old, stained. The room is dark, the shower curtain is moldy and nasty, and eventually, there was even a house centipede walking on our room's wall. The only good things I can think of the place are the location (really close to Sherbourne subway station) and the cleaning staff were always very nice and pleasant. In summary, there are far better options than this place.

Our trip to toronto was awesome. We had some issues with our car and the owner Garry was very understanding. The rooms are clean and the price is perfect for a road trip! Its a small room but its perfect when you dont want to waste a lot of money

I am LIVID! I couldn't even get in cause the owner WOULDN'T ACCEPT MY GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO CARD as ID, DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT EVEN WORKED IN QUEBEC, AND the previous hotel I stayed at. I just got back with a load of luggage, to stay in Toronto for a couple days so I can visit some friends; BUT NOW DESPITE HAVING EVERYTHING I NEED, I was denied entry despite, again, doing nothing wrong. So now I have no place to stay; had to cancel all my plans cause I'm just feeling like absolute trash. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, literally go anywhere else. Terrible. Awful. I BETTER be getting my refund or trust me, I will come down on you HARD

We stayed at Ada's for one night. It was very cheap and pleasant. The room was a little dirty (lived in, not gross) but it was a perfect place to lay our head for the night. I think for anything other than a weekend stay it may be too small. The bathroom was a great size though and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Nice, quiet street and a stone's throw away from the subway. We will be back for our next stay in Toronto :)

The front of the guesthouse is not exactly welcoming. I showed up after dark but there are no lights or signs out front that identify the place as a business. So you definitely have that OS moment when you think you've been scammed until you see the word "ada" underneath the address number above the door. I entered the gate, still a little concerned that I was trespassing, and rang the doorbell. Nothing. Rang again. Still no response. No signs to tell you what to do. Had to break the seal of not using my US cell phone to call the number in my confirmation email. $4 for that. Annoyed. Guy answers the phone with a "hello?" instead of with the business name. Turnsout I was at the right place. Not sure if there is an actual office still. The guy showed me to the room and checked me in there. He was nice enough. Paid with square on his phone. Room is very small. Pretty clean. All the imporntant stuff is clean. Bathroom, sheets, etc. A little mildew on the shower curtain, some dirt in the crack where the molding meets the carpet, no big deal. Super close to the subway station and a tim hortons basically next door for easy breakfast. Very inexpensive for downtown toronto. Reliable wifi. Has tv but i dont know that i will turn it on. Don't expect much when you're being cheap like me. Would stay again.

There are better places to stay in toronto than this. Our room is a little bit dirty, stains on floor and wall. The bed....cheapest pillows ever and one flat sheet in wintertime (April but these days still cold in night), thin blanket and another thin one in the closet. Okay... A fridge and microwave and two mugs. No other kitchensupplies, no kitchen at all (in the whole building). The bathroom is super small, tiles on the floor.... For that place, this price...(80$ per night) :/

Owner is nice, good location near the subway and parking included if needed. BUT : very disappointed. Very tiny bathroom (by chance my partner and I are not big, our legs could barely fit when on the toilet), multiple problems with the toilet (very easily blocked), stains on the carpets, walls dirty and had a lot of holes. The room is not soundproof at all, we could hear everything in the corridors. On the last morning, a cleaning lady woke us up at 8:30 AM to ask us when we were leaving (checkout was at 11 AM). I do not recommend.

Good value for money. Great customer service. Great location: walking distance to Toronto Downtown (about 20 mins).

A beautiful venue. Interior decor was outstanding.Even in the rain the garden was delightful. What a calm and peaceful atmosphere given the hectic pace outside.

Had to call and wait for someone to call us back to let us know when he would arrive to check us in. Decided to leave when we waiting a little while and no one called back than someone came out of their room and we were hit with the smell of marijuana when it clearly states no smoking. Not a place I wanted to stay at, canceled the reservation.

After paying he took us to our room and it was not at all what we had rented through booking.com. We had rented a suite with fireplace and 2 couches and instead got an old disgusting room with dirty walls with. Old worn-out armchairs from the 1950s. Bad smells ... We left this room after 2 minutes with no possibility of getting a refund. It's a scam. Don't be fooled by photos that must have been taken many years ago.
