Not only they lied to me on the phone that I finally get a family DOCTOR there and took my money, the DOCTOR to whom the lady on the phone sent me okay she was a nurse whatever, she was rude nevermind (I mean a place where I have to pay for a 10 mins discussion I would have been a bit happier if CATHERINE RUSCICA (NEVER EVER GO TO HER) didn't treat me like the nastiest piece of garbage and didn't call me a liar not even once even when I gave her my documents from a DOCTOR but I'm still the liar okay catherine sure) she did not believe one word I told her about my illnesses and pains. She rolled her eyes sent me to labwork because I was begging her and she only put a checkmark to one thing which is Chlamydia because I have lots of ovarian cysts sized like an apple and she said she's sure I must have caught some sexual illness by changing my partners. Telling me this when I told her I only had 2 boyfriends in my whole life and I only have one partner for 4 years, my fiance. She's disgusting. You give your money to rude stupid nurses who talk to you as if you murdered someone. Her attitude and the fact that I had hope in them like "oh if I give money they are definitely gonna help, someone finally gonna help me" ruined my whole week.

What a great experience. Since arriving in Canada five years ago, all my experiences with doctors have been nightmares: waiting weeks (or months) to get an appointment and getting repeatedly mistreated both by the doctors themselves and their assistants. This was completely different: I got everything I needed (quick service - about three hours from scheduling the appointment online to being seen by them, the prescription I needed, through and careful explanations, and most importantly, respect). You know how everyone says we should respect the health care workers that have been putting themselves in danger throughout this pandemic? Here's a great way to do it, and you would be rewarding the ones that are ACTUALLY in the front lines, the nurses. Plus they have a $250 yearly package that allows for unlimited appointments. OHIP could learn a lot from them.

Absolutely terrible service. The nurses are about as clueless about complex health issues as possible. They deny your symptoms and clear indications of issues simply due to lack of knowledge and experience. Horrid place. Surely doing many I’ll people a great disservice on a daily basis. Avoid like it’s a mix of Covid and monkey pox mixed with a little bit of Ebola. In short. This place is horrible. Stay away. Seriously if your reading this. Stay away.

Don't be misled by the negative ratings or comments here. I had my suspicions after reading them, so I called them to ask for a breakdown on how it all works. Their website is very straightforward. They give you a one-time walk-in option for one time payment of $65.00, or a subscription option for $250.00, which gives you unlimited visits annually. Because I was skeptical about the subscription method, I chose to try my chances on the one-time $65.00 appointment, and I have to say I was very impressed. I registered my account on their site yesterday, paid the $65.00 and booked an appointment. The experience to get to the building and office, as well as wait period were all excellent. After filling out the paper work, having all my questions answered about the one-time vs subscription, I sat down to wait and my name was called right away, not even 30 seconds later. The Nurse was incredibly nice and knowledgeable, and gave a lot of time for asking questions and worked with me openly to try and find the best fit for my needs. I really look forward to my follow up visit, which they offer a coupon code to cover the difference to "upgrade" your one-time visit to the annual subscription, and you just pay the difference of ~$185.00 or so. If you are skeptical like I was, I think this was a good approach, just try the one-time visit and you'll probably be so pleased with the visit to switch to the annual subscription. In cases where you've been waiting ages for a family doctor and walk-in clinics aren't doing justice to your needs, I definitely recommend the service, even just giving them a call to say hi to feel it out for yourself. I truly feel the weight off of my shoulders and peace of mind knowing I have finally found a place that has time for me. Sorry for the rant!

I signed up to use this service mid 2020 for getting my birth control (needle) as COVID19 had caused my GPS office to be closed for a while for non emergent care. Anyway, the NPs here are very limited in knowledge even when it comes to administering a needle. When I advised them the best way to do, shown to me by my GP and the NPs in their office so the needle wouldn’t hurt Tara looked at me like I was crazy telling her what was best for my care. Additionally, my first time getting the BC here didn’t require a pregnancy test, the second time I was surprised I had to get one since no one told me of this policy and when I went yesterday Tara decided to say I was “yelling at her” along with “wouldn’t be able to get this BC without a pregnancy test anywhere.” This is incorrect as Ive been getting my birth control for over 3 years without a pregnancy test required and with better care, bedside manners from NP/GPs. Additionally they can’t offer you proper care when it comes to nutrition Alexandra tried to assist me here, while they advertise this on their website they don’t have the proper training here for this. I’m giving this review a 2 star because they’re a really cheap option for a walk in, if you live far from yours or can’t make it to your walk-in location. If youre looking for paid clinics in Yorkville, The Toronto Clinic down the block has a better practice. They do cost more but don’t have bad service or staff that can’t answer your questions without arguing with you. They also are qualified in the services they offer. This service barely meets the standards of OHIP covered walk-ins and there’s enough links online for how private NP clinics are not monitored by the provincial government. My GP doesn’t recommend this location and neither do I.

I would give it zero stars if that were an option. Purely business-oriented with little regard to the patients. They'll try to convince you to do unnecessary tests just for the money. The amount of emails and calls and personal visits I made to help Dr. Lise understand a simple request was infuriating. She failed to follow simple instructions on a paper she was given TWICE and I had to come back several times to read out the instructions and make sure everything is done correctly. She also wanted me to pay 50$ just so she could sign a paper for me. They were generally rude, and they invalidate your right to get frustrated with their horrible service. The one star is for the kind doctor who resolved the issue and was able to understand my frustration and actually did something about it instead of actively trying to make it worse.

Not for me. Paid $300 thinking this is the place. Nope. Did a check up. Did blood work and X-ray. No one followed up with me to let me know about my results. That’s not professional at all. Why do I have to call to get my results? I’m not sure they know how to treat serious illnesses just by the way they did my initial checkup. Waiting for my refund. Update: Other 1 star reviews state the same thing I’m stating OWNER.

I have had nothing but efficient, effective and compassionate care from my NP Bri. She is always helpful.amd always offering solutions to my current issue. Using the app it is easy to book/change appointment and usually you can get in within a couple of day. The app also shows all records they have for you and you are free to go through them. All in all I would highly recommend.

I had a simple inquiry, which was to obtain a letter allowing me to get a service dog due to my anxiety and depression. I underwent testing at the clinic for anxiety and depression, and it was confirmed that I have these issues. However, the doctor didn't provide the document I requested simply because she didn't want to. She recognized my need for such a certificate, but after wasting my time and money, she refused to give it to me. Later that day I went to another clinic where they gave me the document without any issues. I am not sure what the point is of wasting the patient's time if you can't even provide the requested service. Doctor's lack of empathy gave me even more anxiety and stress.

Worthless. If we pay $50 for the treatment, we expect you to prescribe us medicine. No one needs your advice or suggestions, I could google it. All paid reviews. Don’t trust these people. Fraud alert. I repeat your job is to prescribe medicine whatever the condition maybe. I told her that I am student and it would be great if she could prescribe me the medicine. She told DONT BUY THE MEDICINE IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT AND REFUSED TO PRESCRIBE ME THE MEDICINE. Worst behavior. As if your diagnosis and advice will solve my problem. Not coming back again. There a lot other of places which provide better service than yours. Stop stealing from us.

DO NOT GET COVID TESTS HERE! They messed up the first sample collection and sat on the second sample. Incompetent beyond belief. They do not care at all if they cause you to miss a flight. Should be called " Don't Care". UPDATE: I could not take my flight solely due the incompetence of this facility, I first visited them for testing on Tuesday for a Saturday flight. I dropped everything and rushed back on Thursday after a casual email suggested I return. I kept telling them I had a 6am Saturday flight and to rush my sample to the lab but they didn't display any concern at all. They just don't care. DO NOT TRUST THEM! The lab (Life Labs) said they would have tested the second sample immediately (on Friday night, no less) had Don'tCare & Fam only bothered to submit the sample. They can't handle simple tests (public hospitals are much more efficient!) do not trust them if you or a family member are actually ill or needing competent advice.

Best decision I’ve ever made! I have had many unfortunate experiences of trusting my care and health with past family doctors; only to feel disappointed and frustrated after every visit. At Care&…it’s a dream. You have little to no wait time, the admin staff are all pleasant and nice, you can book appointments for the next day, you have access to your lab reports (it’s not some ridiculous secret) and their attention and focus is on YOU. I can’t see myself needing or wanting to change clinics ever again - and what a relief! Thank you Care&. You’re all rockstars.

An incredible experience booking, arriving and having my concerns addressed. A modern and clean environment when you walk in and during your appointment. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable and engaged NP that listened and answered all my questions. Wait times for my family doctor drove me to try this service and have 0 regrets. As a bonus, the immediate access to your records and history of visits within the app is amazing. Also the app includes the history of your medications. All things I assume you’d have to call your family doctor to try and get copies of, or keep your own records. Worth it IMO if you can afford it.

As an international student I wanted to pay for a flu shot. I called the clinic and they said that I could pay $50 for a one hour physical examination which would include the flu shot. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my interaction with the nurse practitioner, the physical examination involved none of the usual tests such as checking for cholesterol etc that I would expect. Therefore, in essence I paid $50 to get a $7.50 flu shot...

Can't say enough good things about this place. I had a big health concern recently and needed to be seen fast. My family doctor couldn't see me for a few weeks, so I found this clinic. I was seen the next day, referred out for tests in the coming days, and results were obtained very quickly. I saw Alex, and she was amazing - very knowledgable and the right mix of empathetic and professional. She followed up very diligently with all of my tests and made sure I got answers fast. This is in contrast with my family doctor (who I eventually did go to see) who dismissed my concerns and told me simply not to worry. Their app is also awesome - a great tool to use to see your test results, referral appointments, etc. Alex and the team really are excellent and I recommend this clinic to anyone who is in need of solid and reassuring health care.

Never disappointed working with this team. They get me in quickly to see specialists! Got me an appointment at one of the best ortho clinics in Canada and had my knee replacement in less that 2 months!! They are knowledgeable, professional, really compassionate and caring. I recommend them 💯

Awesome place! Very easy to book appointments and they are always on time. The stuff is very friendly and nurses are very helpful. I always feel at ease there and confident that my health concerns are gonna be addressed. If you can afford it definitely worth the money. They are also LGBTQ+ friendly and not judgmental which is huge considering how much anxiety it can bring to see a doctor when you are a minority. Highly recommended!

My first time visiting the clinic as a new patient there today. As it is not easy to gain access to a family doctor - especially for a newcomer like me! - I was opting for the yearly subscription to the Care&Family Clinic service. After today's first visit I am glad, I did. Very pleasant welcome by the receptionist as well as well-guided info service per app (highly recommended!) and text messages literally leading me from home right into the consultation room. On top of that, talking to my primary practitioner Bri L. and her very professional demeanor convinced me that this is a place where I am taken seriously as a patient and taken very good care of! 😊

I've been with this clinic for a few months now and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a general practice in Toronto and can afford the fee. From my initial visit I felt like I had found a place that genuinely took the time to listen to me and answer my questions. Mithali is my primary NP, she's fantastic.

I've been subscribed for 1 year and I have to say, that this clinic is clean, friendly and efficient. I have every plan to renew my subscription again this year. It was very hard to find a family doctor accepting new patients this past year with COVID and Care& made seeking professional health advice easy and stress-free. I like that I can ask for prescription renewal without having to book an appointment and also appreciate the telematic options (appointments by phone) for when I was uncomfortable doing in person appts at the height of the pandemic. You book everything online and so when you're there you're never waiting at all. Highly recommend for anyone who has been unsure about subscribing. As a non-Canadian citizen who doesn't get OHIP, the subscription is worth it after even 4-6 appts. Worth it for peace of mind. Worth it for the lovely staff who work there!

Great experience with Tara Macleod!! I’ve been without a GP for a long time and only recently discovered the ability to have an NP for primary care. She was kind, patient, thoughtful and timely. At no point in my 30 min appointment did I feel rushed, and she was able to touch on all of my concerns. Very professional service!

Excellent service at the Yorkvilke clinic. I recently signed up with Care&family online. I have my first visit there today. My nurse practitioner was thorough and very professional. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse (Maricel) who drew my blood were very friendly. The entire appointment was seamless and quick.

Aliya Hajee is a truly wonderful practitioner. Came in to the clinic for my first appt believing I had certain issues, and through her listening, caring & thoroughly reviewing my health concerns & recommendation of a few tests, diagnosed something crucial I was not aware of. I appreciate being heard & talking through a game plan that works for me. She is a life saver & can’t say enough positives things about my experience. From the ease of using the app - book appt, see all medical notes & reports & easy to download requisitions. I appreciate the text messages of appt reminders, when reports have been uploaded to my file etc. This clinic is great & I highly recommend!

Overall experience was fantastic with my primary NP in Yorkville clinic. Always punctual and professional and everything about the clinic is great. However there are 2 times my primary NP was not available so I picked “Any practitioner” including today in Lawrence location. It is somewhat disappointing that the prescription I was given today turns out to be back-ordered nationwide for a year already (informed by 2 pharmacists) and I went to 6 different pharmacies and eventually gave up. I wish it could’ve been a more helpful visit.

Cody is such a great NP. Not only is he welcoming, but he treats his patients with so much care , understanding and patience. I have never had such an experience with past family doctors. Maricel, the phlopotomist who does the blood work is so morherly, caring and professional. She does her job very well and i never leave without candy from her 😁😁 I strongly recommend care & family health clinic, the ladies at the reception are very polite and professional, the clinic itself is very very clean, calm, a serene environment that would instantly positively change your mood. I am glad to be a patient here ❤️

Worst business I have ever interacted with. Avoid this pseudo-service like the plague. After being told that we would be provided with requested information regarding our newborn son's check up on December 29th, the only information we were provided with were the documents that we came in with! Then after emailing them (being ignored), chatting through their app (being ignored), and finally calling them and getting a hold of someone, I was promised that someone would upload the requested files in time within the hour. This was never done. Once again, I had to send emails and chats to have their staff do their jobs. When I complained about their awful customer service, their "customer disservice" representative completely sidestepped the issue and tried to say that they were a bit behind on answering emails (this completely ignored the repeated failures of their staff). When I pointed out their blatant unwillingness to address my concerns, I received an absurdly patronizing and nasty email in response. Avoid this service at all costs, especially if you are a person of color.

Had my first visit today and it was a great experience. Simple and convenient to book an appointment. It was a clean environment and staff were welcoming and helpful. The NP Alexandra was wonderful- she was very thorough in her explanations, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Will definitely be back.

I was looking for family doctor because I just graduated and I did not have OHIP at that time and this clinic supported me until I have my OHIP card. I love the entire booking process using the app, it is very user friendly and smooth. The place also very clean. I have been recommended this clinic to my friends that mostly -international student.

After a long painful wait trying to find a family primary care provider in downtown Toronto, we came across Care&. I had my first medical consultation today, and was frankly amazed at the care, helpfulness, and friendliness of the NP that helped me. What a breath of fresh air, in the otherwise stale, impersonal, and frustrating medical system in Ontario.

The staff at the clinic were very professional and welcoming . They checked me immediately on my arrival. With 5 minutes of sitting down I was ushered in a treatment room. The nurse practitioner was very thorough obtaining a history and also in discussing the reason for my visit. Will definitely return and would highly recommend to family and friends. Excellent experience.

Cons: Signed up for a year-300 CAD, came in with an undiagnosed issue/pain, was referred to do an ultrasound, did US, and.....nothing. Why nobody followed up with me regarding the results? Yes, I know they were "normal", I can access the app and see them, but my initial undiagnosed issue is still undiagnosed and untreated +clear ultrasound, therfore may be I require a different test? May be a follow up? A referral to a specialist? Was I provided with any of those? No. As a patient I WOULDNT KNOW whats the next step in my treatment plan/diagnostic plan? Follow up?since the diagnosis/treatment was not complete. For 300 CAD I shouldnt have to remind the NP to please finish diagnosing me and treat me. Pros: easy sign up, easy scheduling on app, was seen in time, no wait times, clinic is clean, receptionist polite and welcoming

Care& has been a truly great experience so far as someone who has struggled to find quality health care in my city. Nisha has been very helpful and it feels great to have my health issues being addressed in a very effective, modern way. I love that I can see my records, book appts and everything else on the app, it feels more personal and that I'm actually making progress towards being healthier.

Don’t book an appointment with them unless you are very sure. First they don’t have any medical doctor. It’s run by nurse practitioners. My insurance doesn’t cover their expenses. I lost my appointment fee. They don’t refund your card.

Bri is my practitioner, and she is amazing! Treats me with kindness and listens to my concerns. No problem referring me to a specialist for any more detailed issues I have had. Can get an appointment within 2-3 days. Love the flexibility, never feel rushed. Sadly in the public system, that has been the case.

On time. Wrote prescription for stronger anti-histamine. Good. Suggested I get cortisone gel over counter. She could have written me a prescription for that. Suggested I use CereVe. I’m feeling that they are promoting this brand of moisturizer.

I would not recommend any practitioners here for any mental health care. Not only myself, but friends who are part of this clinic were shocked when they were met with insensitive and presumptuous mental health services from practitioners at this practice.

I’ve had one meeting with Cody Lanteigne. I feel very confident in his skills and knowledge, he addressed all my concerns and raised a number of preventive health measures. The administrative Staff are easy to communicate with, and the app is efficient. i’m very grateful I discovered this clinic, and look forward to a long relationship.

My experience with this clinic has been very good. The staff is very friendly and the clinic environment is clean and modern. I Love the app they have to set up appointments with ease. Definitely recommended for walk in/ quick health care needs. No long wait times and very efficient. I recently did a Covid test that I booked the day before for $50 and was in and out of the clinic quickly. I like the paperless documentation, as it’s all done through their app/webpage.

Today I had a full check-up visit at this clinic and I have to say I'm quite impressed: the secretary, whom I already spoke previously via the fantastic app they have for Android and iOS, has been really welcoming to me. The registering process was seamless and very quick. Proceeding to my visit, I had the pleasure to meet Dr. McLeod, a very professional, gentle and caring doctor, who asked me a lot of question to better understand my health before carrying out a phisically inspection. She was very throughout and she made me feel at ease from the very beginning. The only thing that gets me from giving a 5 star review is the fact that she forgot to tell me what iron medication would be best for my sensitive stomach as I asked her at the beginning, but I will try and call the clinic to get a suggestion. TL;DR I definitely recommend this clinic to any newcomer, student who is looking for a doctor to take good care of them at a very competitive price. 😊

Tara was very efficient with no wait time. My app texted me when she was ready and even which room to go to. The clinic was very clean and organized. No worries about COVID there. There was a sanitizing station right at the door and the receptionist even gave me a cleaning wipe for my health card after she swiped it! The receptionist (Hila) was quick to book us in and got all our information added to our files so that everything was up to date. Tara was very knowledgeable about various options for my medication. A great experience!! I wish all medical appointments were like this!!

Tara came to see my 95 year old mother And remove ear wax from her ears. She was very understanding of my mother’s sensitivity and managed to allay my mum’s fears for the most part. Followed COVID safety practices and provided very good, professional and fast service. Being able to have a home visit is definitely worth becoming a subscriber and the extra cost.

Great experience! The place was so clean and the staff were so nice. Lisa Cohen gave me the most helpful advice and was the most knowledgeable about my atopic dermatitis than any other clinic I've gone to in the past 4 years.

I used to wait 3+ hours to see my previous GP and COVID made him inaccessible. He's an excellent GP but I needed better access to medical attention so I tried out Care& Family Health. I am very pleased; their NP's are more than adequate to facilitate my personal medical needs and they do a very good job of striking a balance between quick and efficient care vs quality service. I always feel like I have been heard and do appreciate their consultative approach. And they are always prompt for my appointments. Unbelievable in this day and age! 🙂👍 I will continue giving them my business for the foreseeable future.

Exceptional experience. After waiting for 2 years to be assigned a family doctor I went head and joined Care&. As soon as I entered the practice the front desk staff welcomed me and got me prepped for my appointment - literally no waiting around at all. By far this is the best clinic that I’ve ever come in. The clinic is nice and clean, receptionist and NP are fast, friendly, helpful and caring. And I love how convenient it is when they have a mobile app. I’d recommend for everyone to go to Care&Family Health if they have health concerns!

Hurt my food and came here twice a few months apart asking for an x-ray. They refused both times. 6 months later St Michael's x-rayed my foot and it was completely broken. By then it was too late to re-set and now it’s permanently messed up. I used to run marathons. I would not go here for anything important
