Excellent facility - We are fortunate to have some of the most skilled and brightest minds at Toronto General Hospital ( UHN Network) who work diligently to provide the best care for everyone. I found every personnel staff member to be friendly, kind and helpful. The medical doctors, and the specialists who have treated me have all been exceptional. Nurses are all pleasant and professional.

Sadly, my spouse died, but, I want to thank everyone for your honesty and trying to save Wayne! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This hospital is excellent. It deserves all the praises that other people have posted. The only thing I do not like is their connection to the Toronto Western Hospital, because some health care and administrative workers from the Western Hospital often interfere into the excellent work of staff at Peter Munk Centre. Even donations from our family to Peter Munk Centre went to the Western Hospital. Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at the Toronto General Hospital has five stars reviews across the board. Indeed, they are professional, caring, respectful, humane... Toronto Western Hospital has mostly one star reviews and complaints. Indeed, contacts with their staff deeply traumatized me, repeatedly, and left me in tears. Thank you, Peter Munk Cardiac Centre! You are the real heroes, indeed!

Had lower leg mri at 5 am on Sunday and no crowd there! Process was smooth and radiologist seems friendly and knowledgable

One the best Cardio Hospital in North America.

I have been going to Peter Munk for just over 5 years and I can't say enough great things about this place. Every person I have ever dealt with has been awesome. It's such a busy place and tensions are high, but that doesn't stop the staff from being friendly and helpful. The 5th floor is where I spend most of my time now. Check ups and blood work. Check up and blood work. I am thankful every day that I have access to this world class facility for my heart issues.

Out of 5 stars rating I would put it at 10. My wife recently had kidney stone surgery by Dr. Jason Lee and his team. I did not go in the facility at all but my wife cannot stop raving about the absolute best care she has received anywhere. And this absolutely excellent service started at admissions through preop through the team doing the surgery introducing themselves, to recovery and the doctors and nurses there. Also includes all administration and janitorial staff. Whoever is the leadership of this hospital, they should be studied insofar as how they manage to inspire such an “In Search of Excellence” team attitude amongst such a large staff population. And we are in our mid 60s so we’ve been through the medical system a few times. We have also both experienced the medical facilities in Malaysia where there is medical tourism, specifically the Subang Jaya Medical Center near Kuala Lumpur. Their service was excellent but Toronto General even beats them hands-down.

From entering the building to leaving it was a great experience under the circumstances. Caring staff and took time to inform and assure us things would be fine.

I had a triple bypass and heart valve replacement. The only serious pain I endured was when two women tried to change a diaper the day after surgery by having me roll to my side. I could not do it, the chest pain was excruciating. Another excruciating pain I endured was the insertion of a chest tube. Other than these two instances I had an completely acceptable experience in the hospital. Today about 20 months after surgery I feel as great as an 87 year old could expect. The Munk Cardiac Center with its fantastic surgeons is first rate.

This Hospital is Tier One, on par in Cardio with the big names in USA, Cleveland, Johns H, Mayo. We as Canadians just do not brag enough). I was in their Cardio ICU this May for 2 weeks, followed up with a week in the cardio ward. Top doctors, nurses, admin. Swiss clock..

Incredible group of people who work at the Toronto General Hospital in the Peter Monk cardiac centre. From the Doctors, surgeons, specialist, technicians, Nursing staff, PSW, posters, food servers and the cleaning staff everyone seemed invested in bringing their patients the best care possible. Each department took time to answer all my questions and if they didn’t have answer they would come back with one within reasonable time. Unlike other hospitals I’ve been admitted to this hospital made it feel like a had team effort with my care. They are dedicated to their work, exceptional caring, well spoken, polite and generally seemed to enjoy the work environment. I have been to other hospitals and UHN is hands the best. If you need cardiac care you need to be in the UHN cardiac care unit.

Used to work here and regret leaving everyday. Absolutely terrific team who truly cared about their patients, took pride in helping new staff succeed, and just made it such a pleasure to come to work everyday.

I had a complicated heart surgery recently, I just couldn't let it pass not to show how grateful I am to Dr. RJ Cusimano for being so careful and thorough from the beginning up to now, making sure that I can continue to live a life I deserve with my family. This hospital is one of the best in the world. The doctors and nurses are kind and compassionate. Lovely

I went into the hospital for a pfo right the beginning the nurses doctors and Isabella in registration were amazing. Thank you to everyone that took care of me even though they made me do more laps than anyone else you guys were truly amazing.

My father had coronary angiogram here, the cath lab staff and nurses are very respectful and compasionate and take care of the patients really well

Excellent staff. Great Hospital. The only thing is there's Too much waiting for Bloodwork. And if u hv an appointment expect to wait more than 1 hr of wait after appointment time.

Been in endless hospitals and cared for many people, this is the best place for cardiac patients. During such a stressful event the care, concern and interest in the patient and me, the family, is the best. The doctors were very kind in explaining the procedures and reasons for it. The nurses, Karen and Marianne, who cared for my husband, bed 430-3, anticipated and filled all our needs, they went the extra mile, or miles. Thanks for everything.

This is by far the best hospital experience I have ever had. The staff and nurses were absolutely incredible. The doctors took the time to explain the details of the procedure. One week post procedure and all is well

My husband Jim was a patient at UHN Monk cardiac unit for fifteen years. He received exceptional care from many doctors there . He was under the care of Dr Loretta Daniels cardiologist at UHN. Under her care and guidance he lived an active life for many years, despite being told that he would not survive for long as a result of a heartache and the damage it caused. He died of a heartache at age 83 and had enjoyed many active and healthy years. Thank you Dr Daniel and UHN.

Without a doubt this is the greatest institution in Toronto

They definitely need to improve their telephone service, I think they need training, they were very rude, they do not provide information.

My wife recently admitted from another hospital and came to the peter munk cadiac center. The staff and amount of care they give there patients is unbelievable you can tell there staff loves their jobs and it shows In the amount of enthusiasm they show everyday.

2nd time in 17 years I have had the good fortune to be admitted to the Peter Monk ward. Just the same great experience with nursing staff and all who work at Toronto General. Thanks to all that work there you make difficult time alot easier.
