    Easily the best located studio for fitness in Toronto. Right on the waterfront, you can do spin/cycling or Yoga outdoor and literally look out at the Toronto waterfront when classes are held outside. Its a beautiful experience sitting outside and looking over at the water. Kardia has an excellent offering of FIIT, yoga, cycling and an excellent instructor through Heather. I really enjoy the classes and the people are friendly giving you a nice social experience as well. They do a free bi-weekly run, 5km on Wednesday and 10km on Saturday morning which Mark or Heather lead. Before i started running with Kardia, i used to do 2.5km continuously, now I am up to 10km continuous. Thank you so much for your motivation for fitness and health, Heather and Mark and for creating a great community!

    I took the evening rolling class with Heather and I absolutely loved it. A must try if you're active and need to work out some knots and recover faster. The studio was very clean, had lockers, separate showers, changing rooms, and bathrooms. Also, the yoga mats that are there to use if you forget your own are in great condition and great quality!

    I have never been to a more inclusive fitness studio than Kardia! I am not the most athletic person so I often feel intimidated entering other gyms & fitness studios, but from the moment I met Heather and took my first class, I felt entirely at ease! I love the variety of classes, the studio itself and of course, the amazing community members!

    Heather is one of the most wonderful person I’ve met! She is so nice that you feel the sense of belonging here. It’s a small community so you can feel the personal connection. The studio offers different kinds of workouts, such as indoor cycling, strength and yoga.

    I used to pass by Kardia almost daily and wondered what it would be like to attend. I had never tried a Yoga class and was intimidated that I wouldn't be able to keep up. I am so glad I fought through those emotions and joined! Kardia is a community, you feel it instantly when you attend your first class. The instructors are true experts in their practice. Amanda's encouraging words and gentle delivery make for an outstanding yoga class every single time. The facility is spotless and you get such a great energy when you walk in! Equipped with good quality yoga equipment, lockers and a filtered water bottle filling station. Heather was so quick with her communication when I inquired, a true passionate business owner, you can see she loves what she does and she makes such a great impact to the community. I went from 0 Yoga to attending at least 2-3 classes a week. I'm hooked. I'm so happy to have made this choice for my mental and physical health. Now to work myself up to some other offerings at the studio. Thank you Kardia community!

    Kardia is one of my favourite fitness studios in the city. The classes are fantastic, especially the HIIT+Flow & Yoga classes. The instructors are very supportive! The founder, Heather Gardner, is a fantastic instructor who teaches everything from yoga to spin classes; she provides a lot of motivation during the classes which is always a boost! Another favourite part of the Kardia community is the run crew because that’s how I found Kardia. The experienced runners ensure that any beginners aren’t left behind during the course of the runs & always offer advice on how one can improve as a runner. These community runs have helped me build consistency for which I’m very grateful.

    I originally started taking Spin classes with Heather because our gym was closed and I needed to exercise. That was six months ago. My partner and I now attend the classes five days a week not just for the health benefit but because of Heather's welcoming atmosphere. The Spin classes are what we enjoy, but Kardia offers so much more, from yoga (with puppies!) to FIIT and outdoor runs. You will not be disappointed.

    A welcoming space for yoga, running and indoor cycling with amenities you'd expect from larger studios (lockers, showers, towels, hair dryers, shoes for indoor cycling and yoga mats) at no extra cost. Class times meet the needs for typical pre and post work hours and the instructors are friendly and supportive in answering any questions.

    Heather and team provide outstanding classes. HIIT, Spin, Yoga, Meditation, and more. Great instruction for all levels. So much fun! Welcoming and friendly to all members. An amazing community. Definitely an asset to the Waterfront Community, and members who are signing in virtually. My favourite gym in Toronto!

    ting Toronto for business, our first order of business was to find a yoga/meditation studio! Wow, did my friend choose well! This is a hidden gem! We attended the Candlelight meditation restorative yoga session on a Tuesday night and since it was our first time, class was only $15! After a long day of travel, we were so looking forward to this! We were greeted by a sweet guy who saw we were new and showed us “the ropes” right away! I love the programmable lockers for your belongings and the facilities are clean and spacious. The room is so inviting! They provide yoga mats, boosters, blocks, blankets and even eye pillows! The instructor, Tanya, was so knowledgeable and gentle with her instruction. The poses were very accessible and she offered assistance and modifications where needed. The music and candles really set the mood! Even though the class was full, it was very chill. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular spot for me! If you have the chance to stop in for a class, do it!!!

    I took a spin class by a fluke and saw there was a learn to run class. I signed up on a whim. It has been incredible learning from Heather and Kerry. I also love the sense of community. This is a genuine spot I would recommend to anyone learning more about their body and how to move mindfully! Love how I am challenged with every session!     I have been attending regular fitness classes here for just over a year now, and I can’t recommend Kardia highly enough. I felt frustrated for a long time by never really enjoying any sort of workout/fitness activity that I tried but am delighted to be able to say that at this point, I look forward to my classes here as a relaxing part of my routine. As a total fitness beginner they got me in the door by offering the option to purchase one class at a time without adding any pressure for more. They got me to stay by delivering a consistently comfortable environment. The instructors are highly skilled at offering modifications to make exercises more accessible, in a way that never singles anyone out. They also don’t put pressure on you to have absolutely perfect form but are clearly paying attention to when adjustments need to be made for safety, and for the sake of helping you get the most out of your workout. I was pleasantly surprised too to see that those who attend the studio come from a wide range of ages and skill levels. For me, this demonstrated that they are truly providing a space to learn and enjoy the classes, rather than a place to grind through your workouts. Their programming is also impressively creative, so even though I attend most class types now, (yoga, HIIT, and spin) it still feels like there is always something new to try or something fun coming up. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough especially if you are a beginner shopping around for fitness options. Do yourself a favour and let your search end here. I am so happy that I did just that.

    I just started my fitness journey this year and am so happy I got to do so at Kardia. So welcoming and inclusive, the classes are great, and the instructors are better. Love the emphasis on going at your own pace and the encouragement to try new things. Love it here! 💜

    I’ve never had as much fun working out as I have at Kardia! All the instructors, including the owner Heather, are friendly and super knowledgeable in all things fitness. Kardia has a great community and overall vibe. Lots of events, pop ups, fun challenges, and themed classes. Highly recommend!

    I have been attending spin classes at Kardia for a very long time. I am grateful to Kardia for helping me meet my fitness goals. There is a wide range in spin and yoga fitness classes and suits all paces. A special mention for Heather, she is a delight in providing a welcoming and inclusive experience. Start with your first class and there won’t be looking back..Highly Highly recommended!!

    I have never been a gym person until I discovered Kardia, a hidden gem / boutique gym in the Waterfront Community. Kardia welcomes people with varying physical abilities and provides a clean and safe environment. I have really enjoyed the positive vibes from all the instructors, the diverse class offering (spin, yoga and HIIT) and the music selection! The price is also reasonable.

    My day starts and ends at Kardia six days a week It’s such a great and welcoming community.What I love the most is the friendly environment of Heather and her team and also there are a variety of motivating classes such as: spinning,yoga,hit and running. An Amazing place to go for an unforgettable experience which I am so thankful to be part of. Heather is an energetic, multitask and compassionate woman. One of the best place for a superb workout in Toronto.

    I've dreaded exercising and visiting the gym in the past. Cycling at Kardia has been the best exercise experience I've had. Everyone is extremely friendly and encouraging. I love that this gym is in my neighbourhood and beats the commuting - no excuse for not working out. Also, it's amazing to attend spin classes that offer a diverse array of music and people. 5/5

    Recently moved to the city and was looking for a new studio, and am so thankful I found Kardia. I always get a great sweat in, the instructors are incredible, and I love how many different class options are provided each day. Heather really has fostered a sense of community at this space that is so wonderful to be a part of!

    I LOVE Kardia! There are a variety of yoga and HIIT classes for each fitness level/interest. All available each day of the week; morning, afternoon and evening. Heather is an incredible business owner. She cares so much about her clients and always ensures you feel comfortable and welcomed. Madi, Amanda and the sub instructors are also phenomenal. They each bring a different perspective and practice to the space which allows you to try different postures, flows and difficulties. You can find me at Kardia every day of the week. My favourite hour of the day is spent in studio! ❤️

    I joined Kardia few months ago and I am absolutely loving it! Heather, the gym owner, is so friendly and welcoming, and she truly cares about making everyone feel comfortable and included. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like part of the community. One of the things I appreciate most about Kardia is how inclusive it is. There are people of all ages, shapes, and sizes working out here, and everyone is so supportive of each other. I never feel judged or self-conscious, which is a huge relief. The equipment is always clean, and there are plenty of classes options : cycling , strength training, stretching and yoga. Plus, Heather is always willing to help me with my form or answer any questions. Overall, I would highly recommend Kardia to anyone looking for a welcoming and inclusive fitness community. Heather and the staff create a positive and uplifting atmosphere that makes you feel like you belong. It's the perfect place to work out and feel good about yourself!

    Heather is the best! The classes are always challenging yet entertaining. There’s a variety of classes in terms of endurance vs. speed, timing, and duration. I never thought I’d be doing spin classes, but here I am 2 years later going 3-4 times a week. Thank you Kardia!

    This is a great, community-focused, neighbourhood hub. The classes and runs with Kardia always have options and modifications for all abilities and comfort levels, and I've almost always left having met a new person, or even learning something new about myself. Kardia was also a huge source of community for me during and after my second pregnancy. I always looked forward to the baby yoga classes for my chance to move, stretch, and share space and stories (and post-class coffee/snacks) with other moms and caregivers ♥ Through pandemic, Kardia's been able to stay current with provincial health measures, and support visitors with an extra clean and distanced fitness space. Thank you, Kardia.

    Kardia has transformed my relationship with fitness! It’s a place to go to feel a sense of community, and get a great workout whether it is cycling, yoga, running or more! I’ve been going here for over 4 years now and every time it puts a smile on my face. The owner, Heather, makes everyone feel like they belong.     I have never felt more connected to myself or a community then when I tried a class at Kardia. You can be what you want, on any given day and always feel welcomed at any level. Classes are excellent, the variety, the people, the coaches, and the view - the best start or finish to any day.
