This is my favorite gym for sure. Nice equipment, friendly staff, healthy environment. I used to go there during lunch time (before covid) and everyone knew everyone else, which gave you a kind of feeling of belonging. My experience of working out in this gym has been one of the best. The drawback is not having enough number of change rooms though. The shower is not inviting either. Yet, I choose it as my favorite because of the great and friendly atmosphere along with the good range of equipment. Also super convenient location for me.

Really enjoy this gym. I bartend so get off work in the am. Come here and it's never too busy. Being 24 hours is great. Its also clean and love the boxing/cardio area of the gym.

The perfect place for anyone who seeks an empty gym. Its like i have it all for myself. I just wish they had a hack-squat machine, other than that, its a great gym.

Amazing gym! Friendly, helpful staff with good facilities and they aren't crowded. I went at 5pm and I had no trouble with space or access to machines. The workers are baddies and they even got a sled. What gym has turf and a sled? Truly an athlete's dream. 5 stars.

A residential gym out of the way which means it's not that busy. One of the best things is 24 hour access to all locations. The staff are friendly as well as the patrons. The free classes are a great!

I have been a member for years. Overall the gym is great. Very laid back atmosphere, You can really concentrate on your workout And the 24/7 is great On top of it you can use all other Vive locations

Horrible service. People are very slow to respond to anything. I requested a cancelation and they didn't get to respond in time so I got charged. I got a vibe that they were trying to slow down the cancelation so "somehow" i keep my membership. After all gyms have a reputation of manipulating people into staying subscribed. Whether they were trying to do this or not, the fact that my cancelation happened to be slowed down really gave me that vibe 🙄 this is serious, for real

I've been going to this gym for years. The equipment is clean and in good repair. Ryan at the front desk is charming and helpful. Folks are friendly. I really like my neighborhood gym!

Have been living in Toronto for 6 months for school and this was my go-to gym. Great staff, not busy ever, quiet and PARKING. Had everything I needed and it also had free boxing classes twice a week which I regularly attended. Highly recommend!

Had Lee Vasquez as my personal coach for a couple months and he was great. He set me up with a custom program and did a great job of following up and helping me towards achieving goals. The 24/7 access to the gym is also an amazing plus.

I am an active member of the Dupont location. I joined Lee Vazquez's wednesday 7.30am kickboxing class and it is AMAZING!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and committed to you getting the best possible workout, and he is also the friendliest guy you will ever meet. Somehow Lee has made it exciting to wake up at 6am to go to the gym!!!

I dropped in on Daniel’s boxing class on a whim a couple of months, and it’s been a gas. The classes have been small, and surprisingly gender and age diverse, with lots of beginners (like me). My impression is that Wednesday class tends to have a few more advanced people (I tend to go only on Mondays) but there are beginners at both classes and Daniel is skilled at teaching a diverse group. He runs the class at a good demanding pace, and it is always challenging, both mentally and physically, but all very safe. The mental challenge is that learning to box requires learning a lot of technique! Daniel is very patient.

Editing my review and increasing the stars, as this gym has done a pretty good job fixing all the equipment issues. Appreciate them taking action on it. For 5 stars, it would be great to see more classes and a glute machine.

Very easy to get in and get your workout started, perfect for my busy schedule. Lots of calisthenics and boxing equipment, as well as all the weights you'd need. Great friendly and helpful staff

Has everything needed to get fit and strong at a fair price. Places around there have less and charge 3×more on average. Also it's 24h. Perfect for gym rats.

The gym is fine for what it is, however when I tried to sign up online the Dupont location for Dual membership wasnt working because it has an expiration date of contract for a no contract membership. I brought it to the attention of the GM and still I just recently checked it again and nothing changed.. unfortunately I had to sign up at Bathurst which is a great location but it was just more inconvenient. The environment is pretty nice on the unstaffed hours in Dupont though (have not gone during staffed).

Before joining Vive I was never a big to go to the gym. I used to go to the small class studio gym. It was very expensive and it got boring. Vive has everything. Open 24/7 if you want to workout on your own, great equipment, class studio similar to the expensive studios and a boutique feel for an amazing one flat rate. There’s really nothing else out there that will beat gym like Vive !

This a truly all in one gym. If you like big show off box gyms this gym is not for you But if you want to workout in a great friendly atmosphere where everybody is. Ice to each other you will love it It is open24/7, it has everything you need and The Personal trainers are great

I moved into the area a few years ago, and I didn't realize what a gem of a place these guys had. The process getting signed up, seeing a trainer and attending wicked classes was super easy, and I absolutely love it! The members are very friendly, and the staff are so helpful whenever I ask them questions. They're undergoing a bit of a renovation as well, so it's a bit chaotic at the moment, but from what i've heard, it's going to be pretty cool. Apparently, they're putting in turf and a sled? Love this gym...I'm a fan!

I have been a member of many gyms in Toronto. Each one was either too small or too big. This one is perfect size. Right amount of different equipment, great customer service, open 24/7 and very clean Can it get any better?

I have been a member for over 5 years. This my favourite gym. Never too crowded. Brand new squat rack ( you can also use them for chin ups and presses). There is also a weight machines, good quality cardio and my favourite class studio with a punching bags Simple layout but clean and very effective

Very positive experience here! Very reasonable fees for a 24h gym. Always felt safe when there late. Gym was never overly crowded.

Really enjoy this gym. Quiet, respectful community, generally very clean. People are very friendly if you need a hand. Plus the jokes on the placard crack me up. Only criticism: those stairs after leg day.

LOVE VIVE DUPONT Location so much! The space itself is beautiful and clean, the staff is super friendly and professional. I have a gym in my building, but 100% prefer to go to Vive to work out. It's a perfect way to begin or end your day (or both!) :) because it is open 24/7! After each workout I find myself looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend!

The community make the gym for me.. Great people.. Everyone is friendly and not uptight... There is functional areas from boxing to sled push to the power racks, I've tried many gyms in Toronto and settled down for the last 2 years with this franchise... The music here is ALWAYS LIT TOO!!!

Solid, basic gym. Rarely super busy. Price is good (though not cheaper than Hone).

I rate this small gym 3/5 because at any given date and for the last 5-6 months something has been out of order. One of treadmills, then ab/adductor machine, then stair climber and so on… Also for the space available, I don’t understand why they can not have either a smith machine or another cable machine or a Lat/row machine- noone ever uses the back extension or the Glute/ham developer- i get these are cheaper but I would have given more of a higher rating if there were more useful machines. Other than the machines variety- the gym is cleanish but also I have never seen anyone using the shower.

I started training under Lee Vasquez from Sep 2nd week and I would have to say his training sessions are unique in the sense that it focusses on proper body conditioning before starting the workout. As I am big believer in body stretching, I am happy Lee focusses on that ensuring his clients joints are motored before they can start lifting weights. In addition, his body weight training exercises are focused on form and tempo, it's not about how much weight he wants his clients to lift, it's about proper execution and how they perform the movement. These are some of the aspects his training accomplishes, and I have absorbed from him and incorporated in my own workout. In the last 40 days, I have noticed significant increase in energy level. I also lost body weight nearing 5-6lbs in 40 days. Finally, He also emphases the importance of clean eating, sleep and supplements. So far, I have observed positive gains from his training and hope to continue the partnership. I would definitely recommend Mr Lee as a valued trainer to my friends and colleagues

Great gym needs a Smith machine though

At Vive Dupont I have best workout of my life! Highly recommend this place to get consistent intense workouts, friendly staff, quality equipment and great class studio. They are extremely efficient with their space and you don’t feel cramped. They are also very clean including bathrooms and shower. Highly recommend!

Love Vive! This location is solid. The staff is super nice with a positive and motivating vibe. They did amazing job cleaning and organizing the entire gym during the lockdown. It is open 24/7 so you can come anytime. The equipment is good quality and the class studio is great

As someone who does not like working out, Vive fitness has changed my mindset quite quickly. Working out with my trainer, Kal, is not only fun but also challenging and incredibly rewarding - I've seen results in less than a month. He takes care to understand my existing injuries and develops routines tailor-made to my current abilities and future goals. The gym is both safe and clean. Every staff member I have met has consistently been so welcoming and encouraging, with a diverse clientele of both amateurs (like me) and experts (like Kal).

Friendly environment, community vibe, amazing trainers. To top it off, the manager is a legend. Best gym by far!

If you’re looking for a beginners gym, this gym is a good start. Equipped with basic gym equipment and overall reasonably priced compared to other gyms. Some minor feedback. They could improve there sanitation stations, bring back hand sanitizer bottles, and perhaps reconsider hanging the sani bottles from the garbage cans or even better start providing disinfected wipes. I recently noticed they’re always out of paper towels and should consider switching to a more durable paper towel brand that won’t leave wet marks on the equipment or rips through after one use. Bathrooms overall could be more tidy (hand soap is sticky and cheap) but could be the time of day I go where staff aren’t on site or just leaving.

I love this Vive location. I’d highly recommend checking it out the next time you’re in Toronto I was in town for work for a couple of months and I was very lucky that I found it! it’s so centrally located. It is super clean and the staff is very friendly. Open 24/7, good equipment selection and the class studio is a bonus

I had high expectations from Vive after working out at the Lakeshore branch for a year. The Dupont branch really does not hold up to the standards, especially the staff (Ryan). I was told by the Lakeshore branch when I ended my membership that I'll get my last month's fee and access card fee waived. However, the staff at the Dupont branch refused to waive the fee and acted incredibly hostile when I brought it up. There could be potential rivalry between Vive branches, management pressure, or change in business goals if the staff had to become so unfriendly and bitter about it. The gym itself is very old with minimal equipment and a lot of rust. The staff does not seem to take good care of the equipment and washrooms. I signed up anyway because I get access to the other branches. However, I will never return to the Dupont branch especially because of the experience I had with the staff.
