New Element Training gave me a great experience. It is located nearby St. Patrick station (less than a minute walk from that station) and it is pleasant environment to workout in. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility provides lockers in the change room and also has a shower. They have a range of many interesting equipment. The high-intensity workout are awesome. I would definitely come back again and I would recommend this facility.

I walked 16 km yesterday with out pain! New element made that possible. Andrei focused on my goal and in less than 2 months I am pain free and able to dance on my trampoline, run with my "grandbabies" and sleep pain free. The work outs are extremely difficult, more than I thought I could do - but each week I get stronger. My whole body is transforming, I look and feel strong. No more rounding shoulders, my posture is straight and strong. Amazing results in 30min without sweat. Grateful for New Element!

New Element Training is very accessible as it is located just steps outside of St. Patrick subway station. The facility is pristine and has spacious locker rooms with showers. The equipments are top of the line and they are the first in North America to have these specifically designed machines. I really like how the equipments ensure that the targeted muscle groups are isolated and can also be custom fitted to each individual's body size. That was a big plus for me as I often have problems using a one-size-fits all machine with how small I am. The weight increases goes up by 2, rather than the traditional 5, which again allows you to ensure that you are working with the appropriate weight. The staff were very knowledgeable about the equipment and workout strategies. After completing an introductory high intensity workout, I would definitely come back again. I had such a good workout in such a short period of time. I recommend checking this place out!

New Element Training is a brand new facility with a wonderful staff roster. Each staff member was friendly, approachable and not to mention knowledgeable when asked for help or questions on fitness. I absolutely loved all the machines as well. They're not your everyday average machines, these are extremely specific on working particular muscles and definitely ones that I felt work better than those that you come across at a normal gym. I highly recommend New Element Training to people of all abilities and to anybody looking for a very specific workout. I see a bright future for this place!

New Element Training is a great facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The staff walk through all of the exercises with you, explain which muscle is targeted, and how it will benefit your body. They are encouraging and push you to complete the workout. Each machine is catered to your personal measurements which efficiently isolates muscles for a more effective workout. I highly recommend this facility!

I have been regular to New Element for few years now. It's a perfect gym for someone like me with a busy schedule who works down town Toronto. Professional guidance, great physiotherapist. I definatley recommend this gym and will continue renew my membership. Thumbs up Andrei...

Let me start by saying that I'm considering moving to Toronto to be able to go to this gym. However, I live in Charleston, SC and train virtually with Andrei and his team. When I started I was overweight and out of shape. Andrei introduced me to a dietary Metabolic Reset Program he ran and which I participated in. I also began twice a week strength training. Andei's serious and well thought out approach to food management and exercise has proven to work. I've lost 20 lbs and have become significantly stronger. I would encourage anyone, no matter your current state of fitness, to utilize the resources that come with New Element Gym. If you follow them it will be transformative. I look forward to continuing my training and participating with the various programs which are offered in the future. Just do it, it's going to be a big improvement in your health and well-being!

This new facility has some interesting equipment, and very knowledgeable staff. I have been to different workout facilities and I find that these new machines target desired muscle groups and are very accommodating to the amount of weights you can use during a workout session. Instead of the usual 5lbs weights increases, these equipment have the choice of 2lbs increase which can make it less intimidating and more manageable to optimize any workout routine. The day after my introductory workout session, the muscle groups that I had worked on with the trainer were very sore. This just shows that these machines are doing its job for isolating the muscle groups that were being used. All the staff was very friendly, accommodating, detailed oriented, and challenges you to work your best to ensure you reach your desired goals. I definitely recommend this facility to others, and will come back myself. On top of everything, as a bonus this place is just minutes away from the subway and streetcar stop which makes it very accessible to commuters.

As a believer in the science behind High Intensity Training utilizing very slow movements (i.e. each repetition being 20 seconds) and the corresponding health benefits that result from this unique training method, I sought out a facility that provides this type of training in a one on one quiet environment. I feel blessed to have found New Element Training (NET). Both Andrei and Thomas are extremely knowledgeable and passionate, keeping your intensity up throughout the workout to a level you can't achieve on your own while at the same time ensuring you maintain proper form so that you get the most out of your workout. 5 weeks in with only once a week training, I love the physical changes that I can already see but what I'm most excited about is the change in how I feel. I feel so strong with a real uptick in my energy level, in addition to a sense of mentally clarity and calmness. I drive 45 minutes each Saturday to visit NET, that's how unique this team and facility is. I look forward to being a long-term client of New Element Training.

After 40 years of trying many differeny types of training, including many years in the military, I've thankfully found the method that I will follow for life. I've been working with Andrei and NET for just over 4 months now and I've seen significant (and measurable) gains in strength, body composition, and overall feeling of health. The best part is that it only requires 30 minutes of training twice a week, which is all that's needed for my entire fitness regimen (along with watching my diet). After reading the supporting science for this method I'm excited to continue to the journey and see where it can take me! HIGHLY recommended.

Andrei Yakovenko is truly an expert in both the science and practice of using strength training to get maximum health results in minimum time! He's even a published author on the subject. He and his team at New Element Training have been dedicated in getting me the physical results I have needed without having to swamp me in hours of wasted time on running machines and frustrating calorie counting regimes. If you want lasting results, fast and with no distractions—this is the gym you are looking for.

I have been going to New Element Training (NET) twice a week for about 4 months now, and have felt myself getting stronger and stronger with each session. HOWEVER, the real proof, for me at least, has to do with soreness and stiffness after skiing. I have been out west skiing in Revelstoke for the past week, and none of the usual crippling back, leg, bum muscle strain and soreness is there. Normally, after the first day on the slopes walking up and down stairs would be really challenging and painful. Now? Nothing. the only things that are sore are things that I haven't/can't train at NET, like my thumbs gripping the poles etc. I haven't even had to stretch out in the morning!

Excellent gym and training plan for busy people! You will be able to achieve significant and gratifying results quickly and with a minimal investment of your time. As a bonus, the amazing instructors and top-notch equipment ensure that you avoid triggering any chronic injuries or adding any new ones. Plus, the emphasis on mindfulness is helpful for pretty much anyone in today's busy world. Highly recommended.

Six months ago, I read the book, Body by Science. After researching gyms that follow this philosophy of High Intensity Strength Training, and the benefits to longevity and lean muscle production, I came upon New Elements Gym. I had few expectations. I mean, could it be possible to work out only twice per week for 30 minutes and get incredible results? I thought, I had nothing to lose and so, I gave it a try. In the 6 weeks of working out here, my body has been taken to an entirely new level. The strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning and overall body sculpting is positively shocking. Two, 30 minute workouts a week! Who knew that this could actually work, and take your body to a level that five days per week of anything else could never do. I am so unbelievably impressed with this gym and its philosophy, this review doesn't do it justice. But, the data speaks for itself. I have never been able to do a chin up - now, as a 43 year old woman my body is doing things I never dreamed of. I will never go back to working out 5 days per week. I am a lifer at New Elements. Completely hooked. My body is rested and strong. I am the fittest I have ever been. If you want to be strong, protect yourself from injury and workout based on scientific evidence based practice - New Elements Gym is the place to be.

I am a senior living in Toronto. I was looking for an HIT gym with good personal training to work on my muscle health and fitness. Good High Intensity Training with proper and safe equipment is hard to find in Toronto and when you do it is very expensive. I dropped in to New Elements Training on University Avenue and immediately knew I had found what I was looking for. The equipment is state of the art, the facility is immaculate and the cost is reasonable. Andrei and his staff are welcoming, friendly and know what they are talking about. Andrei is very good and educating and advising you on how to get the most from your workouts in the shortest possible time for optimal health and fitness. If you are looking for a professional facility to get serious results give Andrei and New Elements a try…the first session is free.

Located conveniently outside St. Patrick subway station, New Element Training is a nice, clean, and spacious fitness facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff members and top-of-the-line equipment. I was given an opportunity to experience a complimentary high intensity training session and I was impressed with how their machines targeted specific muscles. The trainer was extremely helpful and he tailored the workout to my occupation as well as guided me throughout the exercises. This facility also has showers and plenty of lockers in the women's change room. I would definitely recommend this facility!

I first stumbled upon New Element Training as a way to do a concentrated work out (30 mins — working to failure) as I did not have time in my schedule to commit to the gym (also, I dislike being in such crowded areas, and in my experience there is max 6 people in there at a time) — as a 30 year old woman I am one of the youngest clients, but I encourage anyone and everyone to take advantage of this method. As this is weight training, you will still need to keep active, but I have never felt stronger. My body is reconstituting, it’s fairly priced, and I can tell that it’s improving my own connection to my body in the most manageable way possible. Thank you, Andrei and team!

I really enjoyed the workout that i was prescribed to do. Normally I dislike using machines however I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the machines in use did not restrict range of motion or inhibit movement of any kind. The staff were professional and friendly, and definitely seemed very experienced in their knowledge of exercise technique. As an athlete of rugby the workouts that can be achieved from the machines are very functional and the staff take into consideration what your goals are and do their best to help you achieve them. I was impressed with the workout I did and could feel the effects from it instantly. I would definitely recommend this gym to people of all calibers.
