    CORE is one of the best studios that I have been to in Toronto. I bought the 1 + 1 starter pack and I am very happy with my first two classes. I did the owners class first and thought I was going to die but he made me feel comfortable and helped me get through the class. My second class was with Anya and she was also really attentive and had more of a Pilates style to her! I highly recommend to someone looking for a challenging and motivating class!

    This gym was recommended to me by a work colleague and I purchased the 1 + 1 offer for my first class . The staff is very friendly and the owner took his time to show me how to use the treadmill. His class was extremely challenging and I felt slightly out of shape! After the class, I was exhausted and couldn’t walk for like 3 days after! Highly recommend for someone trying to get in shape!

    Pleasantly surprised with this gym! Very clean and modern studio with friendly staff and the class was superb! I did Anya’s full body class and she was very good at correcting form and had some really great exercises. The owner was really cute too! kind of looks like Brody Jenner from the Hills.

    Love this gym! I’ve been going 2-3 times a week since September and definitely see a change in my body. The instructors all have different styles of teaching but the class structure is typically the same!

    Really enjoyed my first time at Core! The room is a little small and can get sweaty if there’s a lot of people but overall probably the best circuit class in the city. The exercises are original and the treadmill work is fabulous!

    Nile is a fantastic instructor. He is motivating, and creates fun yet effective workouts. Classes are premiumly priced but well worth it. Highly recommend!

    Josh and Anya are incredible trainers. Their classes are fun, energetic and highly effective. Since joining CORE, I've been in the best shape of my life! Highly recommend you check out the PT and classes. Extremely motivating.

    Niles was an AMAZING instructor. Took the time to show us how to use the equipment properly and was super encouraging! I laughed at points I was having so much fun. Great boutique facility. Definitely attending more classes.

    It has been an absolute pleasure getting to train with both Josh and Anya. They are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to their clients. I am truly grateful to have been introduced to them both. I am looking forward to continuing my fitness journey at CORE!

    CORE Forest Hill is the ONLY place to work out. They have amazing staff, great facilities and so many options to train. From group classes to personal training, you will always get a tough but amazing work out. Keep doing a great job Core team!

    My partner and I have been going to both the group classes and private sessions of Anya for almost two years now, she is the absolute best! The classes are super diverse and I have seen such great progress in my strength, cardio and health. Anya will tailor the sessions to what you need / can handle but will always challenge you, so you don’t hit plateau. The space and equipment are super high quality, there is a variety of treadmill, bosu ball, bends and weights exercises so it never gets boring. I highly recommend Anya and Joshua if you want to feel your best and strongest!

    I highly recommend Core! I thoroughly enjoy all of their classes. I love that Josh offers both Core-dio and Core- tone. If you're someone who enjoys running, you can take the Core-dio class, but what I love about this class is that the running is only at the beginning of the class. The rest of the class is focused on dynamic mode on the treadmill and floor/core work outs. The Core-tone class is structured around lower impact work outs without the running, but you still leave the class feeling incredible/sore :) Core has a great vibe and positive energy. It's a very warm and welcoming environment. The 6 am classes are always my favourite way to start my day!

    Core offers the best functional workout in the city. Classes are creative and work your entire body. Anya and Josh are highly skilled trainers who care about their clients and have a passion for fitness. I highly recommend this studio for anyone looking to get fit.

    CORE BY JOSHUA LIPSEY is the most innovative and, in my opinion, effective workout in the city. The set is always changing, and challenging. The music is always motivating and fun. I have worked with Josh and is team via in-person training and classes, and also personal training and virtual workouts through the pandemic. I credit Josh to keeping me and my husband in great shape, and we always have the best time. Anyone, at any fitness level, is able to work Josh's method and achieve their fitness goals! As a bonus, Josh has an amazing repository of on-line video's that I can turn to if I am away or just want to do my own thing in my basement gym.

    One of my favorite places to work out. The place is clean and modern. The trainers have amazing energy and have engaging workout programs. They motivate you and encourage you to push past your limits. But, not in an intimidating way or in excessive force. This is one of the few workout places I always look forward to going.

    I have been going to this gym on and off for 5 years now. The facility is clean and pristine. The classes are small and intimate so you feel like every workout is personally customized for you. Josh, the owner, is so friendly and accommodating and the same is true of his staff who are professional and work you HARD. They cater to all levels and interests. Their swag is stylish and I keep returning time and time again. I'm always excited to build my CORE strength at CORE in Forest Hills.

    Great workout with a trainer who provided input on proper form throughout the exercise. She would show us how to do each move correctly and give helpful feedback. I liked more of the slow burn too and creative use of the treadmill. Such a nice change from HIIT workouts. The movements were small but effective and the other attendees were so kind! A good community feel. There were only few others in the room so the class felt more personalized. Highly recommend! My abs killed after :)

    My favourite fitness studio hands down! I've been doing group classes for a while now and I can never get tired/bored of it. Trust me - I'm the type of person who gets unmotivated quick, but CORE continues to motivate me and keep my workout goals/interest going. All the instructors - Joshua, Anya, Nile are amazing! Definitely a must try!!

    Been coming to CORE for personal training and group classes for almost 4 years now. Absolutely love this place, the trainers are all super professional and the energy is great every time, really motivating! The trainers styles are also different, so you can never get bored and pick from a wide variety of movement! I consistently see great results in my fitness and body, never hitting plateau. We actually moved from this part of town recently, but we still keep coming back because haven’t found anything comparable in the city :)

    I have been going to Core Concepts for around 10 years. I drive over 30 minutes to get there and it is always worth it. The classes at Core are like none other. They are constantly challenging me and pushing me to the next level. Every time I leave with a sense of accomplishment and a fantastic workout. In addition to the workout being top notch, the environment is always inviting. If I could give 6 stars I would.

    First time visiting and has to be one of the best workouts I’ve had in Toronto. The instructor Anya was great and would explain moves very clearly. It was a total body workout and challenging but there were modifications if needed

    Core is the most incredible workout and something you won’t find anywhere else. After 3 decades of running, spinning, Pilates and bootcamps, Josh, Anya and the rest of the trainers are the only ones I go to for intense but enjoyable class workouts that get results. My core has never been stronger!

    I just love my work outs at Core! All the trainers and classes are excellent and efficient. I tend to go around 1-2 times per week! I would highly suggest this studio.

    Core concepts is an amazing gym that provides full body workouts. It is unique as moves are done on dynamic mode on the treadmill where you are basically working your own. I always leave the class sweating and with a smile on my face feeling like I got an amazing workout.

    Core is such an amazing workout, it works muscles I didn't even know I had! It's a mix between cardio and weights and all focuses on core and strength training. The gym is super nice and great location.

    Josh Lipsey is the most creative and motivating trainer!! His classes are the perfect amount of challenging and his gym has top of the line equipment. The other trainers at CORE are equally as inventive, always changing up their classes and playlists. CORE is my go to workout spot and my most favourite way to sweat!!

    CORE is an incredible gym with incredible staff and trainers. They are beyond qualified and design killer workouts that are also wildly fun, and set to a custom soundtrack. Whether it's classes or personal training I always feel like I worked for my sweat at CORE. 10/10 recommend!

    Did a class this past weekend with Anya. Had a great time! Always changing things up, time went fast. A good mix of cardio, strength and toning. I used my muscles in different ways and felt like I got a good all around workout. Music was fun but not super loud or intense. A great way to start the weekend.

    My first class at CORE was excellent. The full body workout was a bit of a challenge but fun and the environment was very motivating. Left me sore for 2 days after. Would highly recommend to add to your daily routine!

    A really great workout with unique exercises incorporating treadmills and resistance training. Walking away from class my core was definitely lit up and I felt able to move more freely. As someone getting into running this class felt really valuable to my strength training. I look forward to going back!

    Core has changed everything for me, I started attending classes in a few months ago. I also signed up for personal training with Anya, she is amazing. I have been able to reach my fitness goals in this very short time. The workouts are amazing, I leave each class feeling stronger and mentally refreshed. I would recommend anyone who is looking for actual results to join CORE!!

    I have been going to Core with friends for many years and always have a great workout. I love that they have smaller class sizes, so it is not too busy. All the instructors are great at combining challenging cardio with strength training.
