Parked at the Guild, went along the lake westward all the way to the Passage, then back. It was about 10km. The weather was beautiful and it was not very busy. The lake was calm, the birds were chirping. The scenery was picturesque. Enjoyed the walk very much, though insects became active, saw a small colorful snake in the bushes.

It's a beautiful natural and engineered trail. I enjoyed the walk with my kids. I had to be careful as we took stroller for my younger one. The view is great. My son was excited when he saw a beaver. One can enjoy some wild berries on the way back.

Calm, serenity and nature. All together at this spot. Sculpture named Passage marries the landscape beautifully.

Great views, specially on a sunny day. And good workout coming back up the hill.

Its a silent place to be alone and have a witness a memorable night. Prefer the place for a camping or stay. Need to walk a bit but wont make you tired. Enjoy the evening with freinds with some music.

This is a nice wide footpath leading from Kingston/Ravine Drive road level down to the lake side. Steep slope going downhill. There is a sculpture "Passage" at the junction of the trail and the lake, very spectacular. We can proceed to walk along the lake to the east or the west. A lot of bikers to share the path. Nice easy walk. Should be aware of the bugs and mosquitoes along the path.

I won't be attempting art criticism here, but this sculpture wowed me the first time I descended Gates Gully to access the Doris McCarthy trail along the eastern waterfront. It conjures up ancient creatures, whale or giant fish bones, and provides a visual anchor point along a beautiful stretch of shoreline. The gravel hiking and biking trails here are unique in the city, and lead to a "secret beach" to be the east and a steep climb up to access the Guild Park. The Passage sculpture is a perfect entry point, and also serves as a great photo stop for passers by.

The path is steep but beautiful!!! It is a calm place where you can enjoy the lake, sculpture and the hill. Better to visit during summer rather than winter because the walk way is too slippery when it snows

I planned to visit Passage for a day of hiking and photography. Unfortunately, Maps did not provide the correct access point to the trail leading to the sculptures. This trail takes you on a path along the top of the hills to see views of the water. When entering Passage to Maps, initially sent to Meadowcliff drive near a residential neighborhood and there was no access point to a trail. Very disappointing. After reading a few reviews, many locals experienced the same issue. A great workout nonetheless, but will try the hike again..

Nice serene place to visit. It was really good experience. The point of view is nice with the really beautiful sculpture at the end of the walkway.

Absolutely serene. For biking there is a temporary closure on the trail but you can walk around it.

On one side, walking parallel to the coast line, not seeing the other end of water. On the other side, the cliff is 30 feet high. Very peaceful. Not many people on the trail. Not even a single thing in water.
