A ravishing place for all things good. I don’t have to mention their menu as the pictures speak for themselves. Kindly note that you cannot finish a dish on your own so please order responsibly. It’s too delicious and make some space in your stomach or else you will be too fulfilled before you know it and the dreadful thought of not being able to finish your dish is not something you want to live with once you come out!

At first one might think that the desserts are expensive. But once you try it, you know it’s damn filling and delicious! Worth every penny! I had the Belgian waffles with customized ice cream and toppings. Loved it.

Amazing amazing out of this world..i told the nice waiter who prepared by milkshake and waffle (i love you)! cuz he made them so well from first bite i was on cloud n 9..let the pictures talk for themselves.. What an experience..definitely to be repeated again..soon..love you demetres❤️

Great desserts, ice cream, crepes waffles, very clean and nice set up, but extremely expensive. The prices are unreal , very high.

A bit expensive... we got two desserts and it came to 37 dollars... but it was a big peice of red velvet cake with this delicious cream cheese frosting between the layers with a bit of white chocolate glaze. I'm a baker and I found it to be delicious. The apple cheesecake was a good cheesecake but nothing to brag about.. but if you like apple crumble and cheesecake and it is a good combo and presented well. The atmosphere was great. Prices a bit steep tho... but if money is not an issue for you, and you like desserts, THIS is the place.

A great place for date Night! Quiet but lively decor. The desserts was delicious and beautiful, a good treat once in a while.

Awesome. As usual their desserts are top notch. I went with my kid and she had a blast with the food, the lights, the design of the menus. Even with the shape and size if the glass of water that we were given. The desserts were delicious. The coffee very good. The location is very good, with plenty of parking close by. A special mention to the staff. Very good attitude and attention. I'll be back for sure.

I didn't like that much, I expected more. The ice cream was crystalized and not creamy. A little disappointing. Revisiting: This place has been our final destination for every day out. We must go to have a good desert and we have been into other units and they are all the same, very consistent. Regarding my previous review, I definitely believe we got a bad day, that’s all, it happens. We gave another shot and it was the best thing we ever done. It’s our favourite spot so far!

We ordered a crepe. The banana was a bit unripe. But it provides good texture to the over desert. I like that the portion feeds two people. It was enjoyable.

This place has the best desserts I've ever had 🤩. I'm not really into banana flavored food but this place has a banana ice cream damn! best ice cream flavor I've ever had. I've had the banana split for 2 people but it can easily be for 4 people, it's humongous. It is expensive though, I paid close to $40 for a banana split and almost $30 for a waffle (tax and tip included)

The interior is nice and its very instagrammable which I like :). Their washroom is very clean and for the service, it’s fine. The server is nice and polite. Their price range are very reasonable because it’s really good and its a big serving for one people.

Demetres on Danforth is worth the visit. The interior is absolutely lovely. The ice creams were delicious and we ordered some tea for our visit. The server did an excellent job in taking care of our tables aswell. They were very courteous and assured we had a great time. Thank you!

Came across this little gem dessert place in town. A little bit on the pricy side but worth it. Taste of the chocolate ice cream was not too sugary and complimented the waffles. Will be back to try the others soon..

This is the second Demetres branch that we visit so far, we really love how all desserts and service feel the same.

Indulgent and expensive,although each dish could feed 2-3 if its just dessert. Quality of the food was nothing remarkable but the excessiveness of each dish was fun.

I popped in for dessert and honestly found the menu for desserts very small, there were only about five different cakes available. The prices are a bit shocking: close to $20 for a slice of Apple Cheesecake! It was excellent but that's more than twice what I usually pay for one serving. There were inly about four customers dining in even though the restaurant I came from on the Danforth had a lineup.

Great service! Great food and great company! The desert "Daddio," which is a Sunday, is great! I shared it with my partner, and we both enjoyed it thoroughly. I have ordered it before... I've had most of the things on the menu over the years, and each one is great! My favorite is pom pilot, which is a New york cheesecake with an apple crumble on the side drizzled in caramel sauce. I usually prefer to get it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. The portions are huge, though, so I would usually prefer to share this with someone.

Delicious crepe. I love their freshly made crepes and waffles. There ice cream scoops are generous too.

The waffle here was sooo good! We love the texture, highly recommended. The hot couture was a bit too sweet for me but still good overall! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

This place has my heart! ❤️ whenever we have a sweet tooth and wanna have a waffle this is the place! No, LITERALLY! I’ve almost tried all their waffles so far! And also have done many customisations at this point! Loveee their waffles!

Bad experience, stale waffle cone, insipid ice cream. Had heard a lot about Demetres and being right across I wanted to try them out. The place looks sparkly and well light up and welcoming. And it smelled divine. One single scoop of ice cream was $10 bucks😱 determined to try I went against my common sense and finally paid $14:13 for one single scoop of ice cream. Madness ! But I thought it’s supposed to be awesome and why not pay for that. Sadly I was highly disappointed. The ice cream tasted worse than McDonald’s $1 one. The waffle cone which they charged extra was soft limp and stale. I felt cheated. After a few bites I threw the rest in garbage. What a waste of money and my evening was spoilt. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone There are plenty of ice cream parlours around Toronto for much cheaper and better ice creams. And yes, they had very limited flavours too.
