Hello, let me begin by saying you guys ruined our new years. After paying $50pp and waiting in line for what felt like an hour, we finally get inside. We get to one of the bars and My friend asks for 4 shots of tequila (somehow $40). The lady at the bar poured one of them then stopped and then left and started to serve someone else.... So we were trying to get her attention and ask her why she stopped. We again asked for our 4 shots. The lady then said the guy (Tyler) would do it...so again we asked him to pour us the shots and he's said no. "I'm not serving you" he repeatedly told us. When we asked why he refused to answer and completely ignored us. Very rude and unprofessional. The guy (Tyler) drank the one shot in front of us and Told us to go to a different bar.. at this point we had one shot from the first bar and that's it, so we weren't intoxicated. At this point we were shocked at guys attitude and behaviour. My friend got really upset and knocked their salt as we left the counter ... he then called security and they told us to leave.- without our jackets The security (refused to give us his name) left us outside in the cold and said he would bring the jackets. While we were outside, we spoke to the manager and told him the story and he even said that we didn't do anything wrong and said we could go back inside. As we tried to go back in, we received more attitude from the security staff Yelling and saying we can't go in even after the manager overruled them. This is ridiculous and minutes before midnight! We were extremely frustrated and gave up waiting. After reading other reviews, it seems like this is a common issue and your staff has major attitude and your bar is overpriced. I sent this same message to management. They read it and ignored me. What great customer service.

I personally love this place because it's not always packed so you can always find a spot to dance whether that is in the middle of the dance floor or on the side if you want more room. The music is great - minus a few songs - but that's every place! I've been here many times and the dancing and music make it worth it. The staff are absolutely awful though. They lie about all of the prices - from coat check to drinks. I've been told: - Coat check is $10 even though it is always $3 - Cover is $10 even though on their instagram it says free with student ID - Tequila shots are $7 even though they are always $4 - They only take cash not debit/credit which is a lie - Various prices of drinks (mixed drink from one bartender is $6 while the other $9) - I've been told I have to buy a minimum of $20 worth of drinks in order to get one (which is illegal) There's not much you can do about bad service though it has always been this way and I thought it would change once new owners took over but I was wrong. So be prepared to be told various prices and having to overpay. It's not just one bartender or one night this has been every time I've went.

Entrance was hard to find. The kpop clubbing event i went to was mediocre, but for some reason i really liked the service they provided? Prompt coat check, free water. Everyone who worked there was very pleasant to interact with. I know the event was organized by an external organization (hire a better DJ next time wouldya) but the club itself is fine.

Got bottle service here awhile back with some friends because the bottles are super cheap, it was honestly nothing how I imagined and left me knowing exactly what you pay for. Its a college/Uni bar and EVERYONE is super grabby, there is lots of space to sit if you have a booth but if you are on the dance floor most of the crowd wants to stand up on the elevated level in the middle of the venue and fly around on the stripper poles. I think I was hit on the head twice by people messing around on the upper level and left super upset because when I had gotten back to our booth random people were sitting in our seats and had thrown up on my jacket. ANYWAY, if you want cheap alcohol and a very young crowd this is the place you want to go.

Fun place to dance with your friends, but plenty of creepy older men there too. Apparently coat check is $3 but I paid $5 my first time there. Bathrooms are hot and gross.

I agree with some of these other negative reviews. This place is not lively on Saturdays, if you happen to go go on a Friday night. Anyways, my first experience wasn't all that great. There was a free cover if you were on the guestlist before 11 but they seemed very unorganized because I saw that list with my own two eyes annnd it had a max of 6 names meaning they really do not check their emails to see who's coming in their club. After explaining to a worker that we had signed up prior for about 15 minutes they let us in free (keep that in mind). So I walk in and this place is deaaaaad and the ratio is horrible (no wonder they let us in with no damn cover), there's mostly men standing around the dance floor or leaning on walls sipping their drinks. I stayed for a trying to give this place a chance to fill up yet when we got later into the night it still felt empty for a downtown Toronto club. As the name says, they're know for their cheap tequila shots and by that I mean $4 watered down tequila shots (figures, you get what you pay for). I thought I was done with this place after that experience but they had a promotion where if you brought your raptors ticket, you'd get in free of charge soooooo guess what mama came back but this time I left appalled. So I head to this place after the game only to be confronted by an extremely rude bouncer. From the music and word of mouthI could tel the place was dead, and they were only trying to make it seem like it was busy. Other clientele were telling us that they'd been in line for 35 minutes after the bouncer kept telling them he'd let them in within the next 15 then 20 then so on. I asked him politely, when h'ed be letting people in and he said "I'll start when I want to so get in line". Honestly screw this place, their poor management, power tripped bouncer, their crappy music and their tequila lol. Don't waste your time or money just go elsewhere.

Dude! Was this place fun! Originally we were headed to another club but a promoter on the street got out attention and we headed that way. At first it was empty with a poor selection of beer but then it got very busy. Fun enough to not have to worry about drinks. We left shortly after but I wish I stayed.

Best 2014 St Paddy's day bar to go to at 1am this morning. Music was really good too. Something for everyone. Staff weren't following me all around, hot ladies, but they need other floors to this bar to give it some variety of space. Crowd was easy to socialize with. No one was thrown out.

I love love love this club! My friends and I always go here when we are celebrating birthdays and holidays. Good music, good people and the staff are cool. I recommend if you know you are going to sign up for guest list! You won't regret it and getting into the club is a breeze. I have a very multicultural group of friends and we never have any trouble. The crowd is also very multicultural. Yes the club is small but they still manage to have three bars and seating areas. Great Job Tequila Jacks, I will be back in March!

I ordered two Johnny Walker red label on the rocks for myself and my friend and I paid $14 for both. After waiting a while, the bartender gave me only one drink. When I asked where my second order was, she claimed that she already served it and somebody else must have taken it. I was not drunk, and was fully aware that I did not receive my order. I kindly asked the person next to me ask the bartender's name - it was Jessie. I am not coming back here again because of disrespectful behaviour towards customers. Not to mention that the crowd that comes here, seems to grope you the second you walk in. Also during the night, my friend's cellphone was stolen from her purse; the security was not too concerned about this problem however.There are entertaining places to spend your night in Toronto, this is surely not one of them.

My experience here was horrible ! Do not go if you want to be around sketchy people and have poor customer service , When I got in we had to check our coats which is normal and the lady said she would put my bag and coat together and gave me one ticket for both of them , when it came to the end of the night I gave them my ticket and they just gave me my bag , I asked a couple times nicely and explained the situation to them but the girls working at the desk didn't give me the time of day , I was Able to explain in detail what my jacket looks like . I then went to the security guard and he told me "stop being a brat or your gunna have to wait outside till everyone leaves to get your jacket" I then told him "I'm not being a brat, I asked nicely so many times for my jacket , and I will not wait outside with out my jacket because it is winter" after waiting a hour i then convinced them to at least let me show them where my jacket is the security guard then rudely threw everything out of my pockets and said that I didn't know what was in the pockets so it couldn't be mine ( there was a pack of gum, and some crumpled up receipts that I forgot I had in my jacket , big deal!) but before I even pointed out the jacket I knew every detail about it even what the tag said on the inside. This bar just wants money, does not care about customers at all, I'd like to somehow contact the head of the club because me and all my twenty friends who went all had a terrible experience and it was for my friends birthday , so sad! We just wanted to have a good time but had to deal with all this, did I mention that my friend tripped over someone's foot by mistake and the security guards aggressively picked her up and was about to bring her out ! Even though I saw many other people fall down drunk that night, not okay !

Terrible place! I would give zero stars if I could. This place has promoters pre- selling tickets for events through Eventbrite and then once you get there with your prepaid ticket they tell you to pay another $35 dollars extra at the door because they feel like it. I don’t understand why this SCAM is allowed to continue! You also are made to wait 3 hours outside in the lineup in the freezing cold weather at minus -20 degrees Celsius! The bouncers are slimy too they negotiate different prices for you to get in and make the people with prepaid tickets literally BEG to be let in! The bouncers, the representatives of this hole in the wall tell you to pay an extra $35 at the door. It’s a SCAM!!! When you go to their instagram page they have another event being promoted on the same day. One bouncer said to us you need to pay more because another party is happening and the ticket you paid for is over! Disgusting! Our tickets said the start time was 8:30pm to 2am. Eventbrite washes their hands clean too! They just take your $$$ ahead of time and don’t care about anything else! It’s a dirty way of doing business here Tequila Jacks!
