So very cool. Discovered an outdoor exhibit that was both interesting, and moving to me. It illuminates the Seven Teachings or the Seven Grandfather's..something we should all practice..there are many good lessons to be learned here. I can't believe I never knew this was here!

Great place to visit any time of the year. In March they organize a Maple Magic festival with tours explaining how maple syrup is made. You can taste maple syrup and delicious Indigenous food. If you’re looking to eat moose or deer this is where you can find it along with sweet pine tea and other delicacies of original Canadian food. Learn about the history of Mississauga with the help of knowledgeable employees and volunteers or just enjoy the beautiful area. There’s a fairytale like log house and other historic buildings that will bring you back in time of the settlers arrival to Canada. For practicalities: there’s free parking and toilets on site.

We visited for a reenactment event but really enjoyed the space. It was a surprise to find this hidden in the neighborhood and we'll definitely be back.

We went there last Sunday around 2PM, but it is closed. Misleading information on their website and at the signboard. says Open Thursday...Sunday 12 - 4. Beautiful park, great place to have a walk or a picnic on the grass, but with the gas prices $2/L it's not worth to drive all the way from Brampton. Small, abandoned garden.

A dedication to First Nations, Métis and others. Some quintessential heritage in a community setting. Drop by. A nice place for photos (people were taking family photos when I was there). It's in Mississauga area, about 5 minutes off the QEW.

This was an incredible location, I loved seeing the property and enjoy the historic value of this place! It’s a really nice spot to photograph on film! It’s a nice place place to take children or friends! A park down the road and a few other historic sites near by

We loved it. Anita who gave us a tour was fantastic. We loved it. She definitely has passion for what she is doing, making it more enjoyable for those who listen and learn about museum. My kids loved it. Thank you so much.

Three generations of my family enjoyed the Historic Canadian Christmas at Bradley House. The crafts, toys, hot chocolate, smores, historic houses, and Christmas market had something to interest all ages. The staff at Bradley House did a fantastic job organizing all the activities. I especially enjoyed the room with the crafts celebrating other winter holidays. The Baker Street Singers also helped create a festive atmosphere with their Carol singing. It was a feast for all our senses.

We were just visited from outside, nice small cozy area near Clarkson Village. Easy access, maybe they need more attractions for the kids on the spot.

So much that I did not know or appreciate about the Black experience in what later became Mississauga. Could it be that life was better in the 1830s?

Booked a tour to learn more about Black history in Canada. Lovely guided tour with Maysoon. We learned a lot, we’re able to ask questions and to have a glimpse into the lives of the area inhabitants (via the Bradley building) Also attended the Inuit exhibit in the Anchorage building. LOVED the oral history recording in this Inuit exhibit

Well-organized, grand opening of a new, seasonal program specializing in native foods--from planting seeds and growing plants to preparing various dishes in pioneer fashion. Very educational event that everyone enjoyed.

War of 1812 - the USA declared war on Great Britain and its North American colonies. More than 50 individuals from historic Mississauga served with the military and Lewis Bradley was one of them, with whom the Bradley Museum is named. The museum displayed some of the Indigenous people’s religion and spirituality. 「Native spiritual life is founded on a belief in the fundamental inter-connectedness of all natural things, all forms of life with primary importance being attached to Mother Earth. The Medicine Wheel. The symbol of the circle holds a place of special importance in Native beliefs.」—— this info is copied from the internet. There’s a “Spirit Tree” where they cut out the bump and carve a mask from this piece of wood. They offer the mask for a special ceremony and then burnt it after used. The part that was cut off from the tree will grow back again and look like a face. They believe they will see their ancestors in it when they look longer at the face. There’s a “Sweat Lodge” used to purify the body before any ceremony or going to fight a war. The museum has a lot of interesting things to offer and is worth of visiting.

We walked in and had to ask the 2 staff members just looking at us if it was ok to look around. We were told we were welcome to check out the buildings but we could have a guided tour of the main building with a donation. The guide seemed to know tidbits of info of the era but very little of the family itself. We were hoping for a little more.

Interesting place, but unfortunately tAC does not work and remaining in the cottage is really like a torture in summer days. The tour guides were knowledgeable and told us a lot about the life style of that area.

It's a nice place to take a stroll. Don't expect to much in terms of the museum, but the grounds are pretty nice for walks and just to spend time time outside. Lots of shade. Also, lake Ontario is few minutes away.

Our family visited Bradley Museum to participate a guided tour of the Yellow House. It was a 45 minute tour and we learned a lot about the life the Bradley family led when they first settled here. The tour guide was very kind and knowledgable. The admission is absolutely free, however a small donation of $10 per person is highly recommended. Me and my family enjoyed this tour very much and it's a great place to visit!

Went to the maple sugar event. Not a lot of things to do... probably because of covid. Mark was GREAT to talk to. We think Mark should have his own cookbook. His sweet tea was amazing! Thanks Mark!! 👍😃

Small Museum. Friendly staff. We went for the Christmas tour, which was o.k. Afterwards we painted small wooden Christmas decorations, this was the best part. There's not much to see, so unless you live close to the Museum I would not spend 45 minutes in traffic to get there.

Experience what life was like for a pioneer settler. After mid March, we enjoyed maple syrup and the children enjoyed the petting zoo. There are many activities throughout the year for the whole family to enjoy. In the warmer weather, tour the garden and take in the surrounding landscape. Have a picnic. A great little museum to visit. Check it in March and see if they are doing maple sugaring anymore. It was an amazing display of old time methods and uses. Very enjoyable place to visit.
