If you visit Empress Walk, DO NOT PARK AT THE EMPRESS MALL PARKING. The parking system is flawed and currently bugged. I paid for my parking but the system rejected my paid parking card and I had to pay a second time. Also you only get 30 min of parking credit for buying things at Empress stores, no matter how much you spend. Park at the Loblaws side (Empress Ave), they give you 1-2 hours (depending on how much you spend at Loblaws) and will even give you time if you go to the Shoppers Drug Mart nearby even just for a flu shot.

Grocery products, movie theaters, restaurants, banks, etc. All convenient facilities were in the building, so it was very convenient. Also very clean. and very very convenience place ,If you use the underground road to library or subway, you can go anywhere easily. It would be more convenient to have public facilities nearby as well.

We loved the theater here. The place is not as packed, so we enjoyed ourselves very much. I prefer going on weekdays since most people go on the weekends. Watched Dr Strange with the kids and family.

There were a few nice restaurants, a big Loblaws supermarket and Cineplex there. The open roof top Loblaws store was very attractive. That was why I got attracted to go inside. I thought this place was more popular because of its convenient location, but my experience there was not that good. The restaurants and Loblaws were nice. Unfortunately, the mall itself was getting old and some places did not get well maintained. Some public facilities were very dirty and unattended to.

Medium sized mall which is easily accessible from the east side of Yonge st as well as North York Centre subway station. There's a grocery store, liquor store as well as an electronics store here. You can also find a small bank and several restaurants as well as a movie theater. The place is pretty clean and easy to get around in with elevators and escalators. It is accessible from street level and the basement through the TTC. Public washrooms are available.

I was delivering food through UberEats which could help me in paying my bills. I got an order and had to deliver the food to the ice cream truck. The ice-creams were looking great and thought to order a small chocolate ice cream for myself. And the owner handed it to me for free. I found it as a perfect gesture for a delivery boy like me.

For whatever reason I'm always in a good mood when I walk in here. The variety of shops, amenities and restaurants is just average (although they tend to be high quality), but the design adds so many points. It's also conveniently located right above a subway station and near a whole bunch of other things. Not a place to spend a lot of time hanging out but a good place to get things done.

It's quite a good shopping centre with easy access to subway and just beside a bus station. It's a mini-mall with limited space not a huge shopping centre, but the limited space has been used in a unique and efficient way. There is a good Cineplex on the top floor, a Loblaws all the way down, a Dollarama, and some other smaller stores and restaurants as well. The bathrooms are adequetely maintained and the overall cleanliness of the place is good. All in all, its a very nice place for hanging out with a couple of options.

It is a rather big inside and near a subway station, which is convenient. There is a dollar store and pet store and movie theater and a big grocery store in the basement that can be seen from openness above Other than that I don't see many other shops for a regular leisure shopper. It feels empty.

Love the layout of this mall, it makes me feel like I'm in a different country haha I wish they had a double escalator that goes up and down to the theatre. At the moment they just have one direct escalator up. But that's "first world problems". I like the stores and how it's not super crowded all the time.

Indoor strip mall feel. Options for shopping but nothing extravagant or complete. I went for an evening dance class which was nice.

Your average indoor mall that acts as an entrance/exit to the North York Center subway station. Convenient to grab some groceries, take out, or pop into Dollarama on your lunch or on your way home at the end of the day. The mall is very clean. Limited bench seating if you need to sit down for a few minutes. They might consider a few more around the mall.

Always evolving, yet still has the memories of childhood. Going to the movies, eating great food. Of course, recommended.

Nice spot spot to hop into while exploring up Yonge. Movie theatre, LCBO, cool escalator. All sorts of good stuff.

  • 4/5 Gregg L. 2 years ago on Google
Very handy for our groceries. A full sized grocery store where you wouldn't expect one.

  • 4/5 Donald C. 2 years ago on Google
Decent loblaws with shoppers drug mart across from it. Loblaws Sometimes difficult to get service at the meat counter even when employees are around stocking prepackaged items. Lots of self check outs but rare for many to be open. Bit pricier than other stores. There is a pet store with friendly staff also.

  • 5/5 Dwayne W. 2 years ago on Google
A nice but small mall that has a bit more than the essentials. The grocery store, a handful of restaurants, an LCBO, some practitioners, a free-form gym, the dancing space, and the movie theatre all connected to line one in the subway. The space is kept clean, and it's got an inviting atmosphere.

I like going there because of all the neat stores and restaurants in there. My favorite Wendy's, there's Loblaws downstairs and Pet Value.

Empress Walk is in the heart of North York and despite being surrounded by many good eateries, also has its own share of good places to eat! That and the cineplex makes it a great place to hang out with a group of friends.

This mall is built to a very high standard. At the basement it is accessible from the TTC or from the ground floor at Yonge street. There is a Lablaws, large shoppers Drug Mart, Dolarama, many other stores and a Movie theatre at the top floor. The mall stays open late and it is a very nice place for shopping.

  • 5/5 Mark S. 2 years ago on Google
Still a sick place to visit. Shinta, Wendy's, great for being a late night degen.

  • 1/5 Dan B. 2 years ago on Google
Theatre is great but the parking garage is a nightmare. Ticket validation machines don’t work, 45 minute car lineup to leave and when I pressed the help button on the broken ticket validation machine (it would not accept my ticket) the attendant was laughing and disrespectful. Will be sure to park elsewhere next time.

One of the best mini shopping centres in North York. Love the cinema, bubble tea and mumuso shop there. The centre is always clean and well maintained. Not as busy which I like and it is a good place to take the underground subway

Nice movie theatre. A couple of good eateries, a barbershop, a pet store, LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, Dollarama, and a fresh juice and tea store, among other things! Parking is also free for Loblaws customers after spending some amount (could be $20 for half hour... don't remember).

The mall has everything l need, grocery store, coffee place, pharmacy, bank, hotel, car rental, restaurants, etc. and that is just the two stories l visited. The best part is easy access to public transportation, buses and subways.

  • 5/5 Mike O. 1 year ago on Google
I like this mall, it has a lot of Different things in it Ranging from the LCBO, pet value, dollarama, Different types of restaurants and other cool stuff as well. It doesn't look that big but on the inside it's a lot bigger then the outside. It also has a movie theater in it too.

Its a great small mall but be ready to go on an adventure looking for their elevators and which floor they stop. Then u have to look for another elevator to take you to other levels. Its kinda confusing and dumb coz they are not even located in a close vicinity. 😕

Although recent renovations to the food court are great, the retail landscape suffers a bit. Clean and bright space though

  • 5/5 Mariam K. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of shopping options here (Dollarama, LCBO, pet store, etc.). There is a Cineplex movie theatre and a grocery store too. Underground parking is available too.

Empress walk is a very lucrative business site. You can chill out in the evening for movies or shows you would choose to go for. Give it a try and thank me later.

  • 4/5 Louis 1 year ago on Google
Good location to eat, grocery shop and watch movies. However the elevators can use some upgrades. The one that goes to loblaws seems to be breaking down in any minute. Other than that very good centre.

The Thursday market where they sell treats like cookies bread and other items worth going for not the biggest food court but what they have is pretty good and healthy and made freshly on the spot. I went to the public library there to print out some papers I needed amazing stuff very helpful I grew up going to that Library they have a child's area they have an area where you can sit quietly and listen to your music. Plus they have this little coffee shop and they sell breakfast sandwiches which there are really good and the coffee tastes delicious

It’s a nice place but the parking ticket validation has been a nightmare! The machine never worked. Tried at two restaurants before, and today even the one at Cineplex did not work! Prepare to pay when you park here even if you dine at restaurants or watch movie.

Nice shopping mall but never really lived up to expectations. In the last couple of years attracted sketchy dudes especially in the evening time. Consequently frequent police activity and some of the shops have security guards posted incl Wendy's Burgers. We don't feel particularly safe going to Empress Walk so we try to avoid.

Clean small indoor mall. Highlights include Loblaws with Tim Hortons kiosk on the lower floor. Dollarama, LCBO, Second cup, PetSmart and Cinplex theatre.

  • 4/5 Alfred H. 1 year ago on Google
Came here for a Tuesday night movie with my family. There is indoor parking and you can validate your parking ticket near the exit of the theatre. I believe it’s a 4 hour limit. I like the circular design of the inside of the building.
