Beautiful mall, loved it, years before construction 🏗️ was going on heavily. Because of COVID mall wasn't that busy. Super clean spacious, updated food court. On the the opposite site there is massive highland market. So it's a quite a busy place

A cute little mall that has gone through several meaningful upgrades. It is clean, well laid-out, and has a nice variety of stores. The Food Court is small but has good options, and there is more parking than necessary.

Decent mall with fairly less crowd and major brand stores. Good choice to roam around, average size and options at the food court, there’s usually a queue at Tim Hortons. H&M has got great collections for men, women and kids. Hudsons Bay too has got amazing stuff with friendly staff

Hillcrest mall is in Richmond hill at Yonge & 16th its on the smaller side with a lot of different stores and even some pop up around Christmas like just cozy, lulu lemon & hickory farm's which is a couple of my favourite stores in the mall TD bank just change locations to the other side of mall by food court

The mall underwent a massive renovation a couple of years ago so it is quite updated. There are stores that never existed before that allow for a fun shopping experience. I also noticed that there were a few new places to eat in the food court, which was a nice surprise.

It's a wonderful shopping mall, but it's currently closed (limited services) due to province wide lockdown. Entry is by appointment only for essential services. Please follow guidelines mentioned on the official website of the Mall before planning a visit. Stay safe and healthy.

Nice mall but there is a need for a thorough overhaul of staff in the stores. This mall could rate an overall true 5 star rating if better workers are staffed. Especially the food court needs a serious management and staff overhaul. Store-wise, it is definitely not nearly as good as it used to be. I am very disappointed. Needs some of the great old stores back like Hallmark, Dollar Store, Bulk Barn, seller’s Craft store, and other wonderful stores that are not there anymore. Hope it doesn’t continue to go downhill. We need our familiar good malls back. Hillcrest hasn’t gotten spoiled as bad as most of the other malls though …so far. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.

The mall is getting better in this year. It was wearer down a few years back. I went to the food festival outside at their parking lot. It was a lot of people and many exotic foreign food.

They have really updated this mall in the last 5 years. I would say this mall ranks 4/5 for variety of shopping. Overall the food court got the best update since now there are many more options and plenty seats available for sitting.

Really great mall! I went to different malls before but so far this one's the great one. We had to buy a tie dye shirt so we went to H&M. First of all, in the store it was very neat and well done clothings as well as the space in the store. Second of all, nice staffs! Much better than I thought. Yay, finally got my tie dye and a shirt (suggestion from one of the staffs :D) I highly recommend Hillcrest mall and H&M

I like this mall as it is clean and organized and well ventilated. Usually it is not too crowded and walking is joyful. There are enough washrooms which are very clean. Food court is good too. It is a good place to shop and hung out with family and friends.

Great mall, clean, nicely spaced out. Good variety of retailers. Plenty of parking. Haven't tried the food court, but I'm sure it has your standard options of what you would find at a medium sized mall in comparison to bigger shopping centres. Easy to access a variety of services, gym, dentist, post office etc.

Packed with people and shoppers - it's that time of year too. I just hope people remember to try their best to social distance, wash their hands and keep their masks on inside shops.

I have not been to this mall for the better part of two decades. To our surprise, Hillcrest Mall is rather pleasant! It's spacious with plenty of ceiling space, has many of the stores you want to check out and feels quite clean.

Just found out about this mall and thought that I should check it out. It's a really nice mall similar to yorkdale, and I would prefer to come here because of it having less of a crowd. It probably doesn't have all the stores you want, but it is very relaxing to shop here, with the open space and less people you can slowly browse in each store.

I was actually visiting my lawyer at the Hillcrest Mall on the second floor. From what I saw on the first floor which is the mall floor seem to be pretty comprehensive in terms of goods and services that they offered to the public. I used to live in Richmond Hill many years ago and dropped at this small but now it's completely modernized and updated with many more additional shops and services being offered so I recommended if you happen to live in Richmond Hill, Thornhill, and Vaughan.

I just recently moved to the area and was looking forward to checking it out. While this mall looks newly renovated and clean, it's definitely on the small side. This mall is great to run errands in but not to have a shopping experience. I would probably have to go to Vaughan Mills for that. The street eats market is unfortunately no longer available and I think it added to the appeal of the mall especially since their food court is lacking variety. I went there hoping to grab some dinner one evening only to find myself bringing back something from their limited menu at Tim Hortons.

Great mall. Definitely on the smaller side but good for essentials and never crowded. Very clean and walkways have enough room for social distancing. Food court is extremely small and needs more variety.

They have got a lot of great shops like Sporting Life, Gap, Children's Clothing, etc. Parking is easy. Food court is clean. However, recently, I notice that dogs that are not guide dogs are allowed. Also, it will be great if they have one more washroom :) Looking forward to seeing some improvements.

The mall has a good selection of stores from basic to high end. It's not a big mall but good enough for the area. The food court like most malls doesn't have enough seating during the busy hours but they have nice options. Parking usually is never a problem if you don't mind parking far from the entrance sometimes.

Hill Crest Mall is more than just a shopping destination; it's my go-to chill spot. As prescribed by my "retail therapist" (aka my doctor), I find solace and relaxation in this retail haven. The mall's serene atmosphere and well-designed layout make it the perfect place to indulge in some retail therapy. The diverse range of stores offers something for everyone, whether you're into fashion, technology, or home decor. It's like a prescription for a better mood! I can't help but chuckle at the idea that my doctor recommends this place for my well-being, but it genuinely works. Strolling through the mall, browsing the latest trends, and treating myself to a little something always lifts my spirits. So, if you're in need of some retail therapy, Hill Crest Mall is just what the doctor ordered! 😂🛍️

The shopping centre in the middle of Richmond Hill with multiple brands and good food courts. The huge Marshal and Home Sense make it better. You can have nice shopping and good quality food here. With the big numbers of parking lots. Hillcrest Mall located in very good location. I highly recommend.

  • 4/5 Maxine S. 7 months ago on Google
It's a pleasant mall. Some of the stores are overpriced for a neighbourhood mall. They have to repave the parking lot because it's been cracked and dangerous to walk on for quite some time. The farmers market in the parking lot this summer was a joke. Was not run by farmers and the prices of the fruit and vegetables were way out of line. Please try not to fool people any more, it's disgusting.

It was nice and quiet, not noisy and overcrowded. I was able do some shopping in a few of their nice stores. Used to be a better mall years ago, however it still a very nice mall. Hope it doesn’t get ruined like many others have.

Very classy, high end shopping mall. Has family friendly stores for kids clothing like Old Navy. Huge Marshall's/ Home Sense, the Bay store. It is all one level and feels endless in walking. Not as big as Vaughan Mills.

Mall has upgraded and improved a lot since I've been here over the years. Very spacious, clean and good lightning. Big stores like Indigo, Homesense and West Coast Kids make this mall very popular especially for families with kids who like the one-stop shop kind of mall to go to. The loss of one star would be the food court. Not as much variety and choices available compared to other malls I've been to. A suggestion would be maybe adding an attached restaurant to the mall? Just a thought. Would definitely be coming back to this mall again.

Custom Deck Builder Mississauga is hands down the best deck contractor in the metro. I so loved the deck they built for our new home and was glad that I chose them to do the job. I found them online and was impressed by their excellent ratings, so I hired them. It was a great choice because they were outstanding. From the get-go, I was already amazed by their dedication, professionalism, and efficiency. The crew knew exactly what I wanted and worked towards achieving my vision. They were hardworking and friendly. Our new deck looks stunning, and my friends who visit our house also love it. Now, they wanted to hire this company, too.

This mall is constantly being upgraded with new stores and nice places to shop. It’s bright and has lots of good options. I used to come years ago before the renovation and I can hardly recognize it anymore - definitely not what it used to be. Fairly empty on weekdays but came one weekend and it was super lively, yet their parking lot is pretty big and could still find several spots in the back. Definitely not the same as other larger multilevel CF malls but a nice spot to visit with many popular stores.

I haven't been here since 20 years ago. This mall now has been refreshed. It has many well known stores, like Marshall, Mark's, Lululemon, the Bay, sporting Life, banks... Etc. The food court is also very nice with a lot of choices.

I've known "the mall" since it opened. There are improvements it's got more branded stores. Lost its charm. But that's progress. I wish the people shopping there were better behaved. People need to learn manners.

Tried the new restaurant called Bermuda in the food court . Very friendly owner Finally some home made organic food choice in the food court. I got their kale salad with shredded chicken and veal mix, and water for 15 bucks. Was fresh and delicious and not too much dressing. They also gave us samples to try. Will def be back

The security at the entrance was very courteous and helpful in giving us the direction to the store we were going to. The floor is clearly marked to walk one way on one side, so you don't bump into people from the opposite direction. The mall is so clean. This is a great mall and I hope for it to reopen, soon!

First time we've ever been in to the mall. It was nice and bright. Lots of good stores and all seemed to be well stocked. Food was too busy for my liking but that's not their fault.

Entering Hudson Bay, there were covid notices we had to read and then sanitized our hands while everyone wore a face mask. Santa Claus was self distancing 12 feet away in his sleigh while children got their photos taken in the foreground. The Cake Boss Buddy, had his vending machine here with $10.00 for a 5 inch by 3 inch wedge of various varieties. Very modern glassy Mall yet not as glamorous as the Bays Boutique Store. Food Court is open though only for take out. Tables and chairs have been removed..till January 23, 2021.

I was there to pick up my package from shoppers drug mart at 7 pm and the paper notice written that they will be open till 8:45 but they were closed. My package will be held until tomorrow and nobody was there to answer me. You can't change times or do anything like this just because of the Covid-19. Covid-19 is not an excuse. When you write the time you have to make sure you are open.

Was racially profiled in Hillcrest Mall today by Paragon mall security because I was standing next to a closed kiosk while having to wait on a pickup ride by York Mobility on Request. I was escorted by security Tyler Mogileven to the door and didn’t receive any redress from the security manager Bob Kim. He needs a course in how to speak to people because he has no manners. He’s probably never heard the term “Manners Maketh Man” I will never ever go back to that mall and will make all my purchases online, and not from any stores that have businesses in that mall, including Hudson’s Bay where I have been a loyal customer for more than 44+ years!!! It’s only a matter of time before those stores have to declare bankruptcy and then the mall will have close down!!!

What was once a joke of a mall is making improvements to improve its image. 10 years ago, poor store selection combined with 80s aesthetics would put the mall at a 2 star. Since the facelift and addition of some major stores, 4 stars. There's still improvements to be made like the west and north west side of the building still looking like the 80s, and small boutiques that are better located at smaller plazas.

The mall was nice and spacious but they didn’t have some of the big chain stores like Uniqlo and Zara that we would like to see. Better check the mall directory to make sure they have the store you want to shop before you head there to avoid disappointment. The mall was not very big but they did have a few bakery stores like Uncle Tetsu (Japanese Cheese Cakes & Tarts) and St Germain (Chinese Style Buns & Cakes) if you crave for desserts. If you go on Sunday, they also have a small farmer’s market outside of the mall at the parking lot near Sporting Life. The Hillcrest Mall Farmers’ Market is available on Wed (10-6pm) and Sun (9-4pm) from May to Oct. I think its not a bad choice to stop by Hillcrest mall to spend your Sunday afternoon.

The mall as a whole has the random things I like to shop including a fairly update Hudson's bay but it really needs a stack of new stores to come it. They have food trucks in the mall parking lot which is cool but also have very dirty bathrooms. Maybe we can work of the cleanliness of the bathrooms? I will say they have this cool counter that let's you know when too many people are inside...

  • 4/5 Jonathan H. 2 years ago on Google
A good selection of shops in the mall. You can generally find what you would want here if you aren't picky with brands. Would be nice to have a big box retailer, but it keeps the small mall appeal.

I don't drive so I tend to do most of my general shopping at the smaller plazas that are near to my home. I have a very large family though so it seems like there is always a birthday or anniversary, a birth or a graduation, or other celebration like Christmas so I shop for most of my gift needs either online or else at Hillcrest Mall. Hillcrest is a good sized mall filled with banks and services, major retailers, boutiques and kiosks that can provide pretty much anything and everything in one place. I usually take a bus there although the walk on nice days is great exercise and then take a Lyft can home with my purchases. For those who do drive there is plenty of parking available all around the mall with many entrances into the building. Oh and did I mention the food court with enough variety to suit anyone's palate. While it isn't the largest mall in the GTA it is big enough that it is easy to spend the day shopping or just window shopping and browsing. A separate building in the southeast corner of the parking lot houses a Swiss Chalet and a Mastermind store which is one of my favorite go-to place for gifts for children of all ages.

When you just need a couple items, mid-sized neighbourhood malls like this come in handy rather than big malls like Vaughan Mills or Yorkdale because sometimes in life "more options" create unnecessary confusion and stress, and it may lead to unncessary purchases as well whereas "not much of a choice" could help you get just what you need and nothing more. That said, I could definitely use some convenience of a little more restaurants in the mall.
