Always a nice place to take.my daughter to play. Splash pad, swings, playground and plenty of room to run around and kick a ball. They also have a portaloo in case you need a bathroom break!

Long time favorite park. Beautiful in the summer, with a splash pad for kids and a small wooded area. Great hill for sledding, but it can become icy and dangerous. A women broke her leg there this winter (Jan 2020). There are hay bales set up for safety, but people still get hurt. Also a dog off leash park (though the times vary for that) and you have to watch that your dog doesn't get hit by tobogganers in the winter.

Beautiful community park. Nice splash pad that is very popular. There is a nice little playground area. The equipment is mainly designed for smaller kids, 10 and under. But older kids play there too. Beautiful large trees fill and surround the park. During the fall and winter, the entire park is off leash for dogs. There is no fenced in dog area and they can interact with the playground. However, for the most part dog owners keep their dogs away from the playground. During the summer dogs may only be off leash in the evening. Unfortunately there is no public washroom. Although a Porta-Potty has been maintained in the park for the past few summers. Last but not least the park also features an excellent tobogganing hill!

A little gem. Includes a rare fence-free dog park with lovely playground and splash pad surrounded by mature trees. Portable loo in the summer months and awesome sledding hill in the winter. Be responsible with your dog, child and trash. Let's keep it beautiful!

This cute little park in the middle of a cozy neighbourhood offers lots of amenities! Playground and splash pad, tobogganing hill (with bales of hay up against trees and poles for safety), an off leash area.

It would be nice if dogs were on leash, not off leash, as there are kids playground and I'm scared about their safety as dogs are playing and running around.

A great balance between a children's park, a dog's park, and a green space to walk through. A place to visit with neighbours while getting fresh air and exercise. Can get mucky and can be very icy in places in the winter - not a heavily-groomed city park, but not a natural/wild space.

Really nice park with lots of shaded areas. Good for picnics with lots of activities to keep kids occupied while adults have non-baby talk!

We love this park for our kids, and the splash pad is great. This is not an off leash dog park (there are specific times for it), I just wish more dog owners observed that.

πŸ‘ Went to Cherry Beach for the first time with the dogs this weekend and it was amazing! The dogs had a blast running in and out of the water. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the lack of garbage access. We had to leave the area completely to find a garage and you could see others...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Really love bringing my dog here all the time! There’s always lots of pups to play with and it being so spacious really allows them to run around and get all that energy out. My dog KNOWS the drive to Cedarvale and gets excited every time we ask if she wants to go to the park. Lots of dog walkers al...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I love this dog park and trail! I would recommend trying to avoid peak hours since it does get quite busy but most of the people and dogs I've met here are super friendly and the trails are wide and fenced-in. One of my favorite dog-friendly places in the city!
