Wildwood Crescent Playground

Park β€’ Playground

😐 This is a small parkette. There's a playground for kids and an area to let your dog off leash. There's also a few benches in the shade. It's a decent park to go to if you're local but not something to go out of your way for. People often mention park, playground, kids, area, good, play,

Love it I usually go in the middle of the night. My puppy enjoys its nomatter what time of day. Never droppings uncollected &not disposed of accordingly, clean. Somewhere to relax & sit. LOTS of space for your dog to get the exercise your looking for. Never negative neighbour moment's. Usually understanding &helpful dog owners in this community. 4.5β˜†

My dog loves this place. If there aren't other dogs, there's birds to chase. And it's great for me because there's good shade in the afternoon/evening. And the dog water fountain is so handy.

As far as city playgrounds go, this is one of the best I've encountered. There are tonnes of hand-me-down toys that are donated by locals for kids to play with - ride-on cars, dump trucks, play kitchen, etc. They have a covered sandbox and there is an adaptive swing for kids big and small who have physical disabilities, which is great to see. There is a fenced-in dog park right next door which is a lovely complement. It's on a quiet one-way street in a great neighbourhood.

Amazing place for dogs and kids. Suitable for family w kids and furry friends. It has an area between kid playground and dog playground, under the shadow with tables that parents can sit down, have a cup of coffee read a book, or studying while waiting for your beloved one releasing their energy in the playground.

I grew up in this area as a kid before there was a park. It's a nice little park but the locals need to remove all of the broken toys they have put there, the place is a mess.

My sons love this playground because it's right beside a busy passenger train corridor. Trains go by often every 5-10 minutes and are easily visible from th3 playground. They enjoy watching the trains go by as they play. The actual playground has 4 swings, a sand pit, a rock wall, a slide and a long climbing bars course. There's also lots of seating, a field and a nearby enclosed dog park.

Our favorite neighborhood dog park. Great community. Our dog loves being there. The wood chips make it even nicer.

Wildwood Crescent Park is a very nice little neighbourhood park packed with amenities. The main attractions are the dog park, the playground and play structure. I utilize the dog park, I have two large-ish dogs that love to run! This park features a deep carpet of wood chips. I like wood chips for a ground surface, I find it's nicer than sand or gravel. There are lovely trees scattered throughout the park, including inside the dog area. The various tree protective surrounds provide good structures for the dog's to chase eachother around. There is a very good water tap inside the dog park. It has upper and lower faucets and a built in bowl. The dog park is pretty large, it might be about 40m x 20m by estimate. I also have a couple kiddos that use the playground. There is a good, tall rope climbing structure. Slides and other structures are mostly suited to kids maybe 8 and under. But there is good variety, it is spread out over a good space so there's ample room for tag! The park also features some nice greenspace suitable for picnics or hanging out while kids and dogs play. This isn't a park that you want drive to from out of area, it's small, there is limited street parking and it's tucked away in a subdivision. But if you are in the neighbourhood it is a fantastic little park that can provide greenspace and play space that your whole family can enjoy.

Firstly, there is a beautiful and safe looking area for pets. LOVE IT! Obviously, pools closed now πŸ™„. But I'm sure in the summertime the place is full of tons of people having fun. I'm looking forward to seeing all the fun unfold this coming year as it's a new area for me and my 4-legged little guy. Cheers, y'all..
