Jungle Cat Zoo is an experience. I went for the behind the scenes and loved the close interactions with animals. Feeding the lions and tigers was out of the world. The hawk Pandora is really friendly. I enjoyed the whole experience but the weather was really gloomy. So if you wanna go there make sure it's a sunny day. The staff was also friendly and polite giving you all the information about the animals.

My toddler was both scared and loved being there. You can get close with the animals which was super cool. There's also a little playground where we spent some time. All together we were there for an hour and a half. We tried the burger, hot dog and chicken burger from the Cafe. Not bad, not great lol the hamburger was the best of the 3. This was our first visit and I would definitely go back.

What an amazing day! We went on a drizzly December so were the only ones in the park. This got us so much time with each animal and a private guided feeding tour. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Animals seem well looked after. The bunnies were my favourite, love how you can go right in and hang out with them ❤️🐰

Cute place to visit. Plenty of wild cats and wolves to be seen. We were warned by staff to be careful of the ice and there was plenty of ice mixed with snow. Received a family pass which we will use in the warmer weather

Thank you to Jessie & Adriana! What a team! They know these animals so well and answered all our questions. They are passionate about their jobs. I/we learned so much about these animals. So glad we met them at the right time. These ladies have so much compassion for these animals and they listened to them as they came around! Thank you to you both for teaching us things we never knew. We made a donation in your honour. Keep up the amazing work. You really see the love. Suzanne & Chase…..

Jungle Cat World is a small zoo/sanctuary for big cats. It's an incredible experience to visit and listen to the roaring lions and howling wolves, which is quite unique. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and the place is perfect for a family outing with kids in Bowmanville. Notably, they have a friendly donkey, alpacas, and rabbits for petting. It's a very kid-friendly place. The behind-the-scenes tour is highly recommended, especially for nature enthusiasts. Both local and exotic wildlife are showcased, making it a super fun and educational day for kids. The feeding time is a favorite among visitors, and the opportunity to see majestic animals up close, just a few feet away, is truly awe-inspiring. While the variety of animals might not be extensive, the proximity you get to them makes Jungle Cat the best zoo experience, even compared to larger ones.

Awesome place to bring the family. A lot of big cats that you can see up close. The staff was very nice and helpful. We went during the week so it was rather quiet... Had the whole place to ourselves. They are always in need of frozen meats. If you can remember to bring some they'll give you a family day pass for free. Nothing breaded or seasoned though!

Cannot say enough good things. My husband took me for my birthday. We stayed in the lion den and did the behind the scenes experience. The zoo itself is small but the animals are well cared for, seem happy, healthy and content. The experience was unbelievable. Jessie was an absolute gem. Seeing the animals interact with her speaks volumes.

It was on my bucket list ✔️ & my 60th Birthday, to feed a few bigger kitties (not domestic). They are very well looked after, great staff, well knowledgeable and caring all around. Would definitely recommend at least a one night stay in one of the rooms, or even a day trip. We were in the Lions den a small apartment size and very cool....a must

Had a wonderful time at Jungle Cat World with my family. Went on a Sunday and it wasn't so busy where you couldn't enjoy yourself or get a good view. Every animal was so close up which was delightful. Got to see the wolves and the lion/lioness get fed which was neat. Spent two hours just taking our time to see everything and we really loved seeing some animals roam freely amongst us. Mikey the Donkey was the star of the show. There's also a space where you can pet and feed the bunnies. Just a really happy experience. The cafe and gift shop seemed to be closed but washrooms were open. Will definitely come back in the summer time!

Had an amazing birthday there, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The animal all seems happy and well, the feeding time was a show of its own, so we went to try the behind the scenes tour as well with Jess and Ashley and I just want to give them a special thanks for making the experience incredible. Overall will definitely be recommending friends to visit and will visit again in the near future to try the cabin experience.

Such a great experience!! The staff was amazing and friendly! The animals were breath taking! We went on a very cold day and they even gave us passes to come back again when it's nicer out! The animals look well cared for and happy. If you'd like an up close and personal experience with these incredible creatures I can't stress enough that this is the place to visit!

An absolutely electrifying experience! It was surreal! We've never see animals like these ever before, and in such a close proximity. The feeding tour at 1:30PM was thrilling while the sweet lady fed the animals she also gave us so much exciting information about the animals, they had such an amazing bond! I highly recommend visiting, especially with kids. They also give these small packets of pellets which you can feed the friendly donkey, bunnies and llamas. The kind old lady who owns the place was very welcoming and sweet.

Such a cool place to experience amazing interactions with animals. Booked the Behind the Scenes experience for our anniversary and it turned out to be a good surprise! Was able to interact with a kangaroo, savannah cat and lemurs! Had a great tour guide who was very informative, fun and made our experience more enjoyable. Definitely recommend to visit here, especially families and for couples! Will for sure make another visit 🙌🏾

Jungle cat world is a small but amazing zoo / sanctuary for big cats! It’s amazing to come here and hear lions Roar and wolves howl which I’ve never heard before! Staff are amazing and very caring and knowledgeable! They have a donkey named mikey whose is cool, and a few alpacas and rabbits you can pet to! Very kid friendly! I stayed in the safari lodge which was very clean they give you juice, water and a few snacks, and access to the park 24/7 when you spend the night there! I did the behind the scenes tour and it was amazing to feed a jaguar and have the lemurs climb on me! I definitely recommend the behind the scenes tour & Jungle cat world to nature enthusiasts!

A bit expensive comparing to the attractions! Kids were looking for ice cream and the Cafe hours was until 5 pm but they closed earlier. Washroom needs to be more clean. Most of the animals were sleeping or inactive. We mostly like the Peacock 🦚 dance! One kid were chasing a Peacock and nobody was saying anything. Staff should be more vigilant! Overall not bad to spend couple of hours!

Just having completed my third overnight in ten years, I can safely say I’ve never once been disappointed with the custom service, Safari Lodge, or Behind the Scenes Tour. My daughter and nephew almost lost their minds playing with the lemurs. This is an absolutely must-do experience but you should stay over. In my opinion, it’s the only way to experience everything (ie. the roaring of the lions at night and howling of the wolves).

Nice Little Zoo for up close viewing of Lions, Tigers, Leopards, Panthers & Cheetahs. Everyone loved the cute rabit enclosure where kids can pat and feed them. The trick is to reach around 12:45pm as the animal feedings start around 1/1:15pm All animals are out during feeding time or else you will miss half of them since they are hiding in their enclosures. The total tour will not last more than 1 hour. There are some play structures, picnic tables & a cafe if you want to stick around.

Probably would have had a better experience if it wasn't so hot. Some of the animals were hiding because of that ☹️ but overall for what we did see it was good and the kids had a lot of fun. I would go back there again when it's a cooler day.

This is an amazing experience. We stayed the night at the safari lodge suite. This is located at the Zoo. You have full access to the zoo at night. This is a must do bucket list item. Absolutely amazing!

Amazing place to visit. The set up of the animal enclosures lets you get up close to lions, tigers, wolves, jaguar. There are a bunch of other small animals including a large pen of friendly rabbits. The kids loved it and we got a family pass. The paths get a little muddy when it’s wet so rain boots are a good idea!

My daughter planned this very special day for myself my sister visiting from Florida and her daughter . We went on the "behind the scenes " tour where an employee of the zoo takes you safely into the actual cages where you wait in a "safe" area until they are sure the animals inside the cage are well behaved and under control. Then the main cage is entered and the interactions begin. These wonderful animals are so very well looked after and loved and excited to share their personalities with the visitors. The proceeds of the cost of admission for this tour helps offset the large amounts of money it takes to maintain the animals well being. The opportunity to see them at their best in their own environment is amazing educational and heart warming. My sister, who has traveled the world has never been on a one-to-one opportunity like this. She had so much fun and was seen giggling like a small girl who was excited. A very special place for members of my family. My 18 year old grand daughter has been attending summer camp at JCW since the age of six and has had the wonderful opportunity to work here as a counselor last summer. Now off to university in Sudbury for the pursuit of zoology JCW has played an integral part helping her choose a path that she is so passionate about. It was so much fun to see her interact with other employees she has known for many years sharing stories and experiences since seeing them one year ago. I would personally recommend going on this tour that you definitely will not regret spending the extra money charged for this tour. Every time I visit JCW I learn more about the animals and their species. The tour staff could answer any question asked with passion for what they do. There was not one question that when asked couldn't be answered with commitment knowledge and passion for the animal on show.

Highly recommend the behind the scenes program! My children had so much fun interacting with the lemurs and holding the baby red foxes. They learnt a lot about them and got to spend the rest of the day exploring. Thank you for such a great experience

An amazing facility, that truly presses the importance of wildlife conservation and education. Friendly staff, wonderful exhibits, and a fair price that goes back toward the animals! I've been here twice, and will be returning likely many more times!

Very good organization and maintenance. Even during the period of coronavirus infection, the visit to the zoo was very well organized. There are excellent conditions for children to learn about wild cats and other animals.

What an amazing place to visit and experience. All of the animals are so happy and have bonded to their loving keepers. Completed the Behind the Scenes experience with the amazing Jesse, who you can tell is super passionate about her role. Fed a gorgeous striped hyena named Ed, howled with Loki the wolf, and fed Belak the stunning snow leopard. Jesse spent time explaining everything about the animals, and its safe to say this is not the last time I'll visit! You can also watch their daily feeding at 1:30pm and learn about the different animals, and pet bunnies, goat, a donkey and alpacas that roam throughout the sanctuary!! Thank you for being such an amazing sanctuary to these well-loved angels.

We went to the park for the first time for the "Prowl". What a great experience!! We took our 4 yr old grandson and the park out on an amazing show, the park was all spooky and the staff were really in the sport and made it so much fun. We went on the feeding tour and the staff have us a good speech on all the cats and it was quite the site to see them eat so close to us!! The animals all seemed well cared for and well loved by all the staff. We will definitely be going back for more visits and we took information home about the over night stays and camps.

Jungle Cat World was a great experience. Got to see the staff feed three of the large animals ( which the kids loved). A nice size facility for the animals that they've rescued. Some animals roam freely on the premises. It was nice to watch the kids interact with them. A great day was had by all. 😊

A nice little zoo. The staff were friendly and there was a nice variety (but small selection) of animals. The animals looked well cared for. I did not do any feeding times or the over night and maybe that would add a little more excitement. It is a long drive to just visit (which is what we did) but overall a nice small zoo great for kids.

Such a good time with my kids. Ages 12 and 8. The animals were so interactive with us. They felt so close. Even though they were behind the fencing, they seemed so close.. really good experience. The kids loved all the animals Nd found the HUGE pet cemetery very interesting. One thing... It was VERY muddy. No area in the park is paved.. I went on the web site before heading out there and a pop-up came up and said to wear boots as the park is extremely muddy. Good thing they did that.. it was the first warm day after a long amd heavy snow filled winter so I really commend them for being on top of it and putting it on their website. The kids were $10 each and I was $20. So $40 for. Fun time on much break... I was happy and the kids were happy

We visited for prawl at the park and were truly impressed with the effort and Halloween theme preparation made by the park. Trick and treating was also an added bonus. Staff were in colorful and interesting costumes to keep the mood 👻. In addition to llama and donkey we got to meet the wandering baby goat.oh yeah can't miss bone fire , marshmallows and hot chocolate. what a great place for children. We truly enjoy our visit every time we are here. Staff is simply the best.

The Jungle Cat world wildlife park was a pleasant surprise. The alpacas, donkey and rabbits were gentle and friendly. My daughter loved petting them. The lions, Tigers, Puma, wolves, snow Leapord are majestic. All animals are well fed and looked after. We could watch them feeding and it was awesome to watch them up close. The washrooms were clean. There are lodges to stay for the night. I will love to try the lions den lodge next time.

Great experience, small but really nice to interact with the animals, wondering around. Staff is super friendly. The little zoo is actually clean. Needs renovation, but it's expected. Washrooms, on the other hand. Well that could use some love.

My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary this week at Jungle Cat World and loved every moment of it! It is definitely our most memorable anniversary celebrations. We purchased the "Behind the Scenes" package which gave us the opportunity to meet and feed five wonderful animals including Gopa the white African lion; Thaj and Nadine, the tigers; Tiny, a 200 pound tortoise, and a very sweet female kangaroo whose name I forget but will find out the next time we go there. And there will be a next time, likely this September, when we'll do the Safari Getaway and stay at the B & B overnight. We were very impressed by the staff, all of whom obviously love the animals. There were many children there who were all having a great time, but really I think that the adults got even more enjoyment out of it. It is an awesome experience!

The park is good spot to have a interaction with animals, we can feed them and touch them. Nicely managed and no time taking easily can be covered within an hour. I will recommend this park for family with kids who wanna enjoy their day with nature and animals😊

We did the behind the scenes tour with Jessie, and she was awesome!! She was very passionate about the care of the animals. Although the park is relatively small, the animals are in good shape and we had a great time.

👍 Its a nice park. It has a playing area for the kids, nice view and overall a good place to hang out.
