Having lived in Toronto my whole life, I have always wanted to try the foods in Chinatown and Kensington Market but never knew where to go. This tour offered a taste of each neighbourhood featuring the best places to go and hidden gems in the city. Julia was a friendly guide who provided a thorough history of each restaurant and the surrounding area that I never knew before. By the end of it, I was extremely satisfied with the food that I got to try and now I have an idea of places to go out to eat. Thanks again for the experience!

Local Toronto Food Tours is a wonderfully caring and ethical business. We went on the Beyond Kensington tour. Julia our guide was knowledgable, professional and fun to be with. The food was great and restaurant staff were welcoming. It was a pleasurable way to learn about Toronto and meet new friends. I highly recommend this tour company and would not hesitate participate in its other tours. Thank you Local Toronto Food Tours!

Visiting Kensington market with Local Toronto Food Tours was a great way to have a full experience of one of Toronto's most vibrant neighborhoods. The guide kept our attention with anecdotes, stories, food and new addresses to go back to, for those keen on authentic food. There is a convivial atmosphere, which makes it a great way to meet new friends! I highly recommend this tour!

I had the pleasure of attending the Food Tour around Chinatown and Kensington Market last Saturday and it was an incredibly delicious 3-hour experience! Not only did we have a chance to try cuisines from all over the world, but also listen to Joseph, our guide, whose knowledge of the neighborhoods we were passing through and their history was really impressive. I ended up stuffed and if there is a tour of another area of Toronto in the future, I will join it for sure!

Had a great time exploring Chinatown and Kensington Market. This tour takes you to seven spots where you can try different foods from the different cultures Toronto has to offer. Our guide Julia told us the stories behind the foods and restaurants, and some of the history of the neighborhoods, which was a nice bit of context. The food itself was great too and I was surprised by some of the stops (in a good way) that I otherwise would have missed for sure.

My girlfriend and I tried the Chinatown and Kensington Market tour and really loved it! All food stops were delicious and some were great discoveries (especially the hidden Chinese bun and noodle place)! I moved to Toronto a little while ago, but Local Toronto Food Tour guide taught us a lot of cool facts about the city through it's architecture and food. Super worth it and delicious!

I came into the tour not knowing much about Toronto's local food culture, and was blown away by how knowledgeable our guide Joseph was. Each food stop was filled with detailed explanations of the associated cuisine, culture, and history, adding context and making you appreciate the delicious dishes that much more. I learned a ton about the city I live in, and have the pleasure of saying I've added several of the stops into my regular rotation. An absolute blast, would highly recommend.

Salmon Catcher Fishing Charters runs seasonal fishing trips on Lake Ontario. Located in the municipality of Mississauga, these trips are a great way to spend afternoon or weekend going after Salmon and Trout that live here.

A wonderful mix of food, history, and culture. Some long loved Toronto favourites were mixed with a couple new finds. The whole experience gave a real sense of the neighbourhoods and stories surrounding the food we ate, and we ate really good food. Each place had a special role in the development of the neighbourhood, and each flavour reflected the diverse neighbourhood we were walking through.

This was a different and fun way to spend an afternoon in Toronto! The tour guide Joseph, who is full of local knowledge, likable and authentic, introduces you to seven food places, where you don’t just taste and experience, but also learn the story behind them and how their story is interwoven with the history of the neighbourhoods and the city. You get to go off the beaten touristy path and discover hidden gems that you are very unlikely to discover on your own, and definitely not all in the course of an afternoon. A glimpse at Toronto from the inside - colourful, casual and vibrant. It’s also a very good value, especially with the current discount. I happily recommend this to all!

I had the chance to go on this food tour a few weekends ago and I am still thinking all those delicious bites I had. We started the tour in Chinatown and then after a few different asians bites like dumplings, egg tarts and noodles, we ventured into Kensington for a range of bites from Jamaican patties to locally made cheese, hot from the fryer churros and more. The tour was of course full of delicious food at every stop but also really interesting local city history which gave me some interesting context to the city I've lived for the past 7 years, there was still so much I did not know! The tour brings you to spots that you might otherwise miss as a tourist, a great locals look into Toronto. Our tour guide was very friendly and welcoming and it was nice size group of people. I would highly recommend this tour!
