We were really impressed by the service, especially Erin! Lovely patio, strongly air conditioned interior, very nice bathrooms, and yes, they take reservations! Food is tasty with lots of veggie healthy options. Best of all, affordable and approachable but still classy and nicely decorated. We'll be back!

A cozy and cute place to grab a beer. Interior decor is homey (though a little dark), along with their sheltered back patio. Good beer and wine selection, and decent food to add, but more on the pricey side.

Great spot to grab a beer! The ambiance hits a nice balance between casual and intimate. They also have a heated enclosed outdoor patio. Would recommend for small groups.

Excellent service, nice patio and decent beer. Pictured is their dry Irish Stout, which went down a treat, even in the roasting hot weather

Amazing experience!! My workplace held a staff gathering on the covered patio and I was so impressed with everything. The food was GREAT, especially the cheese board (and I'm a cheesemonger) - the selection of cheeses were really impressive (and local!). The finger foods were delicious (fried chicken bites, beef and lamb sliders, squash chips, desserts and more), and the drinks were great too of course. But the best part was how kind and courteous the staff were. They were super great about passing around food and making sure everyone was taken care of, they were friendly and I never felt like we were being a bother even though there were so many of us and we were quite noisy. Finally, the atmosphere of the patio was just beautiful. And the heaters are super warm, so I'd imagine you can come here throughout the winter! Absolutely recommend this place, whether for a casual hang or an event! Thanks for a great time Burdock Brewery staff!

Came for an event yesterday and the space was so lovely! The ambiance is fantastic and I got to grab a drink afterwards at their bar. I ordered the Cherry B and it was easy and had a fruity aftertaste. I also ordered a small platter of the fries that came with a side dip (I think garlic?) it was very delicious so I highly recommend that for a snack at the bar. Their charcuterie options are also very high quality, as they had various different salami cuts and cheese.

Love it here! Good beers and tasty food. They always have seasonal dishes that are great! I have been on numerous occasions and never has a bad experience here. Though there are tasty dishes I wouldn’t necessarily go here for dinner because of their limited full sized options! Their food dishes are mostly best for sharing perhaps with the exception of a rotational salad and burger and fries.

We had thr best time at Burdock! The beers were refreshing, interesting, and absolutely delicious. The hospitality here is also excellent, we felt right at home. Karyn engaged us in honest, genuine conversation, and really helped set this brewery apart for us. We were in from out of town, but will absolutely come back next time we find ourselves in Toronto! Definitely come here if you're interested in fun, delicate beers, and lovely people!

Absolutely obsessed with Burdock. The cutest little place in the area. I’ve gone on busy Saturday nights and surprisingly haven’t had to wait long for a table. Never a bad experience. Patio is cozy both in the winter & summer. Oh, not to mention the best drinks & food! Great spot if you want a chill vibe with some friends.

Excellent beer and wonderful food. The (new) jerk fries are fantastic. Comfortable, well-designed space. Service is consistently excellent. The place is staffed with genuinely nice people who care about giving guests a good experience. Solid value, too.

The server Yoni was delightful, friendly and helpful. He provided a detailed rundown of the menu and was polite. My friend and I really enjoyed the beer we chose and it went exceptionally well with the food. Food We split the burger and fries. The burger was juicy and delicious. The fries were spiced, crispy and had a tasty dip included. Feedback The area we were seated was way too crowded loud and awkward. As there were already several people seated at the benches. Not ideal for friends who want to catch up. We immediately asked to sit elsewhere and were then offered a spot in the front terrace area. The barstools were also uncomfortable, but it was still better for us to be able to chat. We appreciated the switch, but we could have just been offered a choice when we were first seated and it would have been more welcoming.

I really enjoyed my time at this cafe, but I have to admit it was a bit too loud for my liking. The decor was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, but not exceptional. However, the drinks were really cool and refreshing. Overall, I liked the place and would definitely come back, especially once they open their terrace.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say I had an interesting experience. I ordered a burger for $20, and to my surprise, it came without any side dishes, just a plain burger. It left me expecting a bit more for the price. Furthermore, when it came time to celebrate a birthday at our table, we had to ask the waiter to check with the manager if we could bring in a birthday cake. It seemed like an unusual request, and it would have been nice if such arrangements were clearly mentioned on the menu or website. To add to the confusion, the service charge was not listed on the menu either. We were informed verbally that there was a $5 per person service charge, which was unexpected. Overall, while the food quality was decent, the lack of transparency regarding additional charges and the need to consult the manager for simple requests left me with mixed feelings about my dining experience at this restaurant.

They’re cooking up something special here! Dined in on a Thursday night and we were immediately greeted by super friendly servers who showed us to a cozy table in a dimly lit, elegantly decorated long room. Next, Chef Tom and friends put together some truly mouthwatering dishes! We had some hearty “buns in butter”, creamy gnocchi (our personal favourite), and a complex “delicata squash” with a nice crunch, paired with crisp kombucha on tap. Fantastic food, an ambiance to match, and even better people make this place a MUST VISIT!!!

I've been a long-time fan of Burdock thanks to Cherry B stocked by a local bottle shop here in Hamilton. I was very pleased to finally get to Burdock on a recent trip to Toronto. Sadly there was no Cherry B to bring home, but the also great Cherry Barns was in stock and did come home. There is a wonderful patio for summer visits. We did not have time to eat on this visit so we'll be back.

I went here with a buddy and enjoyed some sours and dark beers. I really like the atmosphere and the staff were great. I didn't get a chance to try some food but I'll make an effort to come back again to get the full experience.

Great food, beverages and service. I had the special, snow crab truffle pappardelle pasta. It was delicious and so fresh. I also had the non alcoholic beverage option and it was a refreshing yuzu sparkling water. Staff was very nice and service was excellent. Ambiance is also nice. I also tried my friend’s steak tartare, which was great too.

Really liked this place. The service was excellent. Despite having 3 separate servers, the service was seamless, and they all knew what we were drinking. The atmosphere was great. We sat inside, but the patio looked really nice. But the AC inside was calling to us. My only complaint was the bun for the smash burger. The burger and toppings themselves were excellent, and the fries were nice and crispy. But the bun was really soggy and did not do it justice. The beer was great. We tried a few different ones each and liked them all. Key lime gose was probably my favourite. Overall, I'm looking forward to coming back here some time.

Quaint little brewery to visit in Dufferin Grove. Came here to try their April stout which is delicious. Make sure to check out their takeout can selection as they have a large variety of beers. Pours could be better but overall would recommend.

Great atmosphere on the patio with super friendly service. I thought the tomato and bean salad had way too much balsamic but my friend really enjoyed her brocollini and the fries were fresh and crispy.

Had a great dinner here last Saturday with friends. Love the creative menu choices that are meant for sharing. Tried about 8 different items on the menu and ALL were delicious! Especially liked the pickled egg, buns in butter, grilled chicory, baked brie and the special of the day (stuffed chicken wing) was amazing, and last but not least the blooming onions and ricotta donuts... SO delicious!! Service was excellent and loved the cozy ambiance of this place. Goes without saying the house made beer selection was excellent. Freezer martini and wine menu was also great option for non beer drinkers. Highly recommend this spot!!
