Nice cocktails and beers! Good for a date night or hangout with your friends. My favorite cocktail is Lavender Sour, you must try it!

*** UPDATE: been back here about three more times. The last two times were amazing! Great cocktails and feeling more and more like a local watering hole. Came here again today and the whole experience was nothing short of bizarre. We said hi to the bartender coming in and asked if he patio was open he nodded. We went back and sat down. He came out shortly after, dropped of two menus and said nothing to us as he turned around and left. There were two others outside but the patio was basically empty. We waited 15–20 mins and he didn’t come back to take our order. After feeling trusted and honestly slightly disrespected, we decided to leave. As we left we walked by the bar and new people had come in after us, and sat at the bar. The bartender with the green coloured hair was in rowdy and animated discussion with them. I looked at him as we left and he he acted like he didn’t even see us. Honestly the strangest expletive I’ve had a at a bar to date. I hope they get a new bartender so we con continue to enjoy this place. Right now it sucks. Feeling that way as a customer is a shorty experience. This place has the potential to go higher in stars, I just didn’t think the environment was as good as it could be. We sat in this corner make-shift booth thing that honestly was falling apart. Cocktails ranged from okay to pretty awesome — so they’re definitely boozy. That said, I don’t think all the seating was terrible but I only sat where I sat. Definitely try the London fog. Good local watering hole for sure.

The service sucked. The bartender was rude. A BLUE devil is suppose to be blue. The sarcasm was uncalled for. I watched out for a customer who was drinking at the bar. Turns out she works there. They were too busy on their cell phone to provide decent service. Obviously no tip. The service was a joke. Honestly the last bartender I had there provided way better service. Definitely needs some improvement.

Quaint with a fun atmosphere cocktail bar with a quality number of selections and a handful of beers on tap. Bartender was quite friendly and skillful - adding to the overall visit. Will recommend to people looking to grab some cocktails in the area.

A small and quaint community focused bar! The gaslight has a great drink selection, focusing on local beers, crafts and making delicious cocktails. The wait staff have always been very friendly and provide a lot of good choices if you're unsure what to drink. I'd highly recommend the Old Fashioned if you stop by, I'd say that it's the best Old Fashioned in Toronto!

The current bartender is a great person. Please don't hold back due to the comments towards bartenders. Great selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. Pizza from mattachio is good too.

This place is small! Definitely not for larger groups. There is only one person working so service is a tad slow, but not horrible. It has a good vibe, and there are some interesting drinks here that were pretty decent. I liked their house made cider the best (I can’t remember what it’s called). They do have some food options here which is great but I didn’t try any. Not sure I’d come back but it was still a good experience.

We rented this bar out for my partner's birthday and they were so great to work with. Reasonable minimum spend amount, no hidden charges, and they were so open to collaborating to make the event special--> we could select some custom cocktails, host our own trivia game for guests, bring a cake, request music, etc. I'm so grateful this wonderful spot is in my neighbourhood!

Great little spot! The blonde bartender (Alice? Allison? Sorry - I'm bad with names) was playing **AWESOME** music and made everyone feel welcome in the space. Good times all 'round - will definitely be back!

Groovy lil bar with friendly staff, good selection of local/craft beers, and some serious mood lighting! Probably a good place to take a date if you're worried your Tinder pics aren't a good representation of what you really look like... Food selection is limited, but really tasty. It's not the sorta place you're gonna grab dinner, but it's good grub to accompany a couple of drinks. I hate olives, but genuinely likes their spiced olives! Their Orange Pekoe old fashioned is heckin' amazing! Definitely try it! I didn't get back to see the patio, but I'm told it's a cute lil spot out back. The window decoration was pretty rad.

Always a good time at The Gaslight. It was open mic night. That happens every last Wednesday of the month join the artistry. I'll always come back over and over again.

Warm on a cold night, perfect ambiant music and lighting. Really great unassuming place, hope the staff are proud of how great they make it.

This is my favourite neighborhood bar in TO. Small and dim with a short but thoughtful menu. Staff are great.

Pours of whiskey are only 1 fluid oz (standard is 1.5 to 2 at every other bar). No warning about this when ordering, but charge as much as other bars for standard size drinks.

Worst comedy I have ever watched. Some content are great, other content are audience based, but what is making my rating like this is that the comedians stress on the fact that we didn't laugh to every single joke and started pointing out that we are the worst audience ever. Like what!!! Tell the joke, and continue. Know you audience through a couple of jokes and then capitalize on what you learn instead of repeated the same joke from comedian to another when they pick up the stage!

the staff here are great alway a a warm welcome and they play great music too. been a few times while james is there and the blonde girl on other nights is cool too. never sat at the bar i want to try sitting at the bar next time but it’s usually full!! don’t know if they have food but you can’ get sushi across the street and eat it there
