First time tried in this location. Went on a weekday night, however did not book a reservation, we were told to give my phone number and wait between 15-20 mins. We waited more than 30 mins in front of the host desk, while we observed many people / customers in and out of restaurant. We understood that those customers might book their reservations ahead of time. After 35 mins of waiting, I went to the front desk and asked if a table is available for 4 of us, right away one of the host led us to the area which there were 5 tables available. We ordered and ate, during our 1.5 hour of eating, there was nobody sitting on those tables. The foods were good, but we ended up not happy because of the service. The waiter who took our orders was bad, my friend asked if he could suggest us the drink would best to have with beef steak, the waiter suggested us one red wine and he also said “ this is the cheap one compared to other options”. We did not know why he said it, maybe because we did not wear suits or we only wore dress casual outfits.

Truly an amazing dining experience. Everything was so fresh and tasted literally perfect. There wasn’t one complaint about anything that we ordered! Our server, Patrick, was so amazing in attentive. He made sure our cups never needed water and he listened to every single request and met them above our expectation. The steaks were cooked perfectly as we ordered them and the seasoning made me honestly want to order another one! We made a reservation and had no wait. We parked in a nearby garage and took an elevator to the restaurant. The ambience was impeccable... Soft music and fireplaces everywhere. Truly an amazing dining experience.

Went for a family dinner on a weeknight. Restaurant wasn’t too busy and we were able to get our food quickly. Everyone’s steaks were cooked well, always appreciate the consistency from the Keg. Only disappointing item was the mixed greens salad, which was small in size and didn’t taste fresh as the lettuce had a pink hue and was limp. Probably wouldn’t order that again…would recommend sticking to steak at the Keg.

Great place for some food and drinks to catch up with friends. The atmosphere feels classy and nice. The food was good. Definitely very filling for certain cuts of meat as some don't go smaller than 10 oz. I enjoyed the prime rib.

I went here to celebrate the anniversary of my boyfriend and me. This place was really clean and spacious. I ordered three things salad and two main dishes, it was awesome. Especially, the lobster & steak was so delicious. And I got a service from an employee named Dave, who was very kind :)

The first time to go to Yonge Street restaurant branch. The service was good. The steaks were tasty as usual. I tried the crab dinner and took very long time to finish it. The creamy sauce for the crab was definitely enhancing the taste.

Beautiful ambience and pleasant dining experience. Great for celebrating special occasions. The servers are friendly and very professional. I can’t get enough of their scrumptious bread and butter, I could eat it all day! Aside from that, their gooey and tasty Baked Brie is a must have for appetizers. Steak was also fantastic. It was cooked to perfection, just the way you like it.

Amazing birthday dinner experience, Kevin is friendly and all the other staff too. We are avid steak lover and have discerning taste buds. The prime rib and sirloin here are better than what we expected. My baby girl cannot get enough of the bread. Will come again.

A delightful experience. Reserving the table next to the fireplace provided a unique and cozy atmosphere seldom found at other The Keg branches. Our starters included a delightful, heat-infused crunchy cauliflower and a shrimp cocktail for sharing. The Keg classics is accompanied by a complimentary Caesar salad, rich in flavour and delicious. Although the steaks were flavorful, the cooking fell slightly short of our preferences; the surf and turf veered towards well-done although requested to be medium, and the other steak erred on the side of rare rather than medium/rare. However, the fillet mignon was impeccably prepared. The attentive and professional service, coupled with the pleasing ambience, left us overall satisfied with the experience.

Great sirloin steak exactly cooked as ordered . Very friendly staff. Cesar drink tasted great with touch up of hot spices. Service a bit slow but ok. Lovely rooftop . Overall very nice experience.

Can't go wrong with the Keg. I've had some horrible steakhouse experiences recently so I went with the tried and true for my boyfriend's birthday. We ordered the tuna tartare, 8 oz strip, prime rib, and of course a Billy Miner pie for dessert. Cooked to my liking and very tasty. There were some service issues but maybe that's normal for a weekday night, as there might be some people in training. We got the wrong side for the prime rib and they delivered someone else's dish to our table twice. Not a huge deal and they were quick to fix it, but it was a little bit weird.

Nice service, nice environment. Very enjoyable for the rib with blue cheese crust and garlic potatoes. My friend also recommended the side, lobster tail. It’s better to reserve a seat half an hour in advance.

I ordered a prime rib. It was more well done than I liked. Connor was very polite and helpful and offered to replace it for me. He even offered me free desert which I declined because I didn't think it was fair for me to accept food I didn't pay for. Excellent food and customer service. I highly recommend this Keg location and Connor should get a raise and a promotion.

First time to this location. You know why? Because fully booked on a Saturday. Even this one, only 3 slots left. The reasons are their food quality and services. As a restaurant, those are 2 of the most important matters. It's a full house, especially after the lifting of mandates and restrictions. It's an enjoyable dinner from appetizers to entrees, then desserts and coffee.

I have sat many places in this resturant but this is the only real drawback the chairs are way to low.for a small person to sit in .other than that the food service and server are excellent. Love my NY rib steak cooked just the way I love ❤️ medium with a ceaser salad and a cup of tea.so good. My friends love the onion soup and prime rib.and the wedge salad.

We go to a different Keg every year on our anniversary, and this location didn't disappoint. We celebrated our 9 year anniversary at the North York location on the rooftop patio. Service was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, timely. Food was equally as good. And we received a free dessert at the end.

Love the steak here, tuna tartare, and ribs. Soup, and calamari were okay. Mash potatoes were cold. Very welcoming waiters.

Amazing Second floor patio! Social distancing very well done, contact tracing information documented for everyone, all staff wearing masks (properly too). Very well heated patio, very warm even when it was 2 to 4 degrees after sunset. Now with all that said, the food was the true highlight of course. Ordered Grilled Garlic Shrimp, New York Strip, Rib Steak. Everything perfect, Rib Steak perfectly medium rare, NY striploin spot on medium. Apparently on your birthday, you receive a free cake slice of Billy Miner cake, didn't have to ask, staff already knew form our beginning conversation dinner was for a birthday. Overall, 5/5 as always from keg.

Walked in on a Saturday night without a reservation and was seated right away. Service was excellent and the food was perfectly prepared. I got the rib steak and it was worth every penny. It was my first time getting the mushroom rice...and probably my last. Overall a very good experience.

Spent a lovely night thanks to the server in charge of my table. He was so professional and sweet! Million thanks to him, we could have a surprise party for my friend who got engaged :) Food is always good, no doubt. It was my friends' first time to be at The Keg and they said they'll definitely come back for another dinner or any special anniversary.

What I like about KeG is that you never go wrong with your order. Everything is consistent. If anything changes on the menu, they will notify you at the time you are ordering. This branch has very friendly, nice and caring staff. Works for a date night, girl's night, work event, ... and birthdays w delicious complimentary cake.. highly satisfied 😊🥂

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at The Keg Steakhouse. The service was attentive, and the menu offered good choices. The ribeye I ordered with a twice-baked potato was cooked perfectly. The massive slice of Billy miner pie for dessert was delightful. The ambiance was great, with music at the perfect volume for easy conversations. They quickly accommodated my 6 pm reservation with just 30 minutes notice. We had some difficulty finding street parking but found convenient $5 underground parking across the street. We'll definitely be back!

We were just here last week for our wedding anniversary. Our server, Mark, gave us an exceptional service. All his recommendations were amazing. He made our first visit, first of many many more. The food was amazing. We tried their Gruymere Mushroom dip as appetizer. Which was so creamy and so good. For mains we ordered Filet Mignon and Prime Rib. The meat was so juicy and so flavourful. For sides we loved the Twice Baked potato. 10/10 for food, service and ambience. 🫶🏻

Came here to celebrate a birthday, overall the food and service was pretty good. The bread was colder than I was used to when coming to the Keg. It wasn't even warm enough to melt the whipped butter. My steak was a little tough, or my steak knife was dull, it took more strength than I expected to cut my steak. Desserts were absolutely delicious, no complaints there at all. We came here for a birthday and they kept ensuring a complimentary cake during the booking and on arrival, but it never came. We didn't bother with it as we enjoyed the desserts that we ordered.

Haven’t been to The Keg in a while and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! Came here with 4 adults and 1 toddler to celebrate a birthday and everything was great! In terms of food, you can’t go wrong with a steak or prime rib. I got the filet mignon, Chicago-style, with a twice baked potato and it was delicious! If you are celebrating a birthday, they give you a free huge slice of Billy Miner cake, which is actually really good. The only criticism I have is that the wedge salad could’ve had more toppings (bacon, tomatoes). Service was impeccable - friendly, engaging, and efficient. For my toddler, they had crayons and a colouring page. Also, their kids menu includes a veggie/fruit plate and ice cream which was a nice touch! Prices are also fair for what you get (good portion sizes). Overall, I really enjoyed this meal and experience and will be back!

Staff and food are both top class. I only come to this Keg, maybe 4-5 times a year. Manager Scott and our server Chris made our night unforgettable.

Obviously, there's nothing bad to say about food or service. However, making reservations means nothing since you might end up standing and waiting for your table for over 20 to 30 minutes. Staff, however, are professional and courteous.

Food 2/5 On the day of my birthday, my wife and I ordered a rib-eye and chicken and ribs. I was pretty upset that the steak was rare when I requested medium-rare. The chicken and ribs are so dry that they are terrible to eat. Because the restaurant is a steakhouse, the steak should be cooked to perfection for the customer. Aside from the seasoning and food quality, the meal was below expectations. Service 4/5 The waiter that served us was kind, responsive, and eager to assist us with our order.

Good food and atmosphere but service is so so when compared to other steak houses or same restaurant chain at different locations. The waiter was not attentive.

Overall wasn't happy made a reservation for 6 and they gave us a table at the bar, asked to moved but told it was full and they had no tables. One of my colleagues is 4ft9 and she was very uncomfortable at a high top table. I got food to go for my husband and it looks like left overs that he even questioned me If it was an actual order or my left overs, asked for a cesar salad and didn't get it. Ordered a French onion soup and told they don't have to go containers for it?!? What a disappointment, overall would never come back to this Location. My bartender/ server Alex was good, friendly but overall everything else sucked

The food was delicious. The filet mignon was tender and savory. We also ordered the featured bone marrow, the tuna tartar and Gruyère cheese and mushroom. And lastly the Crème brûlée All amazing. Simple and uncomplicated good food. We enjoyed every bite Our server- Isabella was sweet and attentive. She made it a point to come by and make friendly conversation , had insightful recommendations and was efficient in bringing out the food. The hosts were very accommodating with finding us a quiet corner and enough space for our little 3 month old baby girl. Will definitely be revisiting and recommending.

I like the restaurant menu and its beer choices. The best place for a late Friday friends hang out. Last time we relaxed there with husband, snacks appetizers were delicious. Our server was Rojina and she was super nice.

Amazing service, location and atmosphere Tried their INCREDIBLE pistachio crusted salmon,my fish was so flaky & juicy with a hint of maple, that made me doubt every salmon I ate in my life before yesterday. I couldn't wait to take one picture. And Since it was our first time there, we got this incredible treat as a compliment (Mocha ice cream cake 🎂) Going back again and again and again

Had a really lovely experience here recently. Their patio is inviting and provides a charming ambiance. Food and cocktails were fantastic but the service was the best part. Our server (Jon) was ready with recommendations and was incredibly attentive the whole night. Best service experience I've had in recent memory.

I used to write detailed reviews for The Keg, but the experience here is always so good and consistent that I don't bother writing much. I recommend the fillet, shrimp cocktail, escargot, baseball, mini brulee, baked brie, tartar, and more.

Excellent lobster 🦞 feast, wonderful service. Also the Lobster cheese Appetizer is so good. The deserts are amazing the Billy Miner Pie, and Crem Brûlée. Only a few more days unity Lobster 🦞 feast is over, go you will enjoy it. Mark Warsh 😊

Went to celebrate my birthday with friends and my partner. Service was good. I believe our server was training so once he becomes more comfortable with everything I'm sure he'll be top notch. Their no complaints on my end. Hostess was very accommodating which I do appreciate. Will visit again at some point.

So far didn't have a chance to experience in-person dining at this location, but did have 2 times take-outs ordered. Both times, food was great, in a special aluminum (or whatnot) container that keeps the food extra warm and proper for when you get home. Chicken nuggets from kids menu are great, steaks and lobster are always a great combination.

We have been twice with our little one who stays in her stroller for date night. Roof top patio is great and we've had Jasper as our server both times and she's fantastic! Great service and you know exactly what you're getting with the Keg food so we will be back again!

Had a reservation at 7:30pm but had to cancel last minute so ordered takeout instead. We ordered salad, 12oz steak with baked potato and veggies, and the chicken and ribs with fries. The portions were great, the protiens were not dry at all and tasted amazing. We only waited 35-40 minutes after we called to pick up the food! Was very happy 🤗

Steak was very good, tender and cooked to order. It was a bit under seasoned, but still Keg good. Service was A1, waiters and hosts were excellent.

We had a reservation but they told us that dine in has a 90-minute wait. We asked for the patio but then they said it is 90-minute wait too. We were patient so we just went to Jack Astor’s patio where we can see a great view of the city and guess what, The Keg’s patio. I am not seeing any people at the patio, I don’t see the reason for the 90-minute wait. I guess they did not let us in because we don’t look acceptable to them. I always dine in to this location and I tip my servers really well. This is the only day that I got disappointed. It is my sister’s birthday today too! That was the purpose of our visit.

Always love coming here. For the price, it is hands down the best steakhouse in Toronto. There is definitely better steak in the city, although you will have to pay the price (Morton’s, Jacob’s etc…). Service is outstanding as well, and the ambiance is great. Regardless of which location you go to, you are guaranteed a great meal.

Keg is my fav spot to visit. My everyday wine & steak. I'm extremely disappointed in the food now. I got a slice of zucchini skin with the rest of my very sad vegetables. Rice used to be very flavourful but this time was so dry I couldn't finish it. I hope that they bring back the good food here. I really do love the Keg.

There is nothing I can complain about in terms of the setting, ambience, food presentation, and service. These come at a premium and get paid for by the high-end food prices. Customer service was also top notch. Our server was always game and attentive with accommodating our picture-taking. There were a couple of time I remember her happily volunteering even before being asked. Another different instance of good customer service was that The Keg was fine redoing my friend’s order. My friend, who was a practicing Muslim, noticed she had bacon in her order of burger. She asked for it to removed from the burger, but the attendant went above and beyond to offer that they can even redo the whole burger ordered. My only issue is that in one of my other friend’s order of steak it came out looking very raw. It was supposed to be medium rare, but how it turned out was a very suspicious looking pink.

It was my wives birthday, took her there for steak , we loved it , the staff were very friendly and they offered us a complimentary slice of our billy miner pie! Which was delicious!

Gluten free options! I ordered sirloin with veggies..it was absolutely delicious and well made! Mojito cocktail 🥰the Service deserves 5 stars as well!

This past Sunday, I booked a table through the Open Table app. When I arrived, the dining area upstairs was full, but the staff were super accommodating in finding me a table on the main floor, away from the bar, which was too noisy for me. I ordered the 12oz pepper steak, medium rare. It was cooked perfectly and the thin, peppercorn crust was so good! The veggies were just right and while the mushroom rice was a little bland, it worked well with the peppercorn steak. A glass of Inniskillin red wine was perfect with the meal, and a mini creme brulee the perfect finish. I also want to mention how impressed I was by the care and kindness the staff showed to an older woman with low vision, who was dining near my table. They were so helpful and genuinely friendly, as well as mindful of such things as addressing her by name and identifying themselves when they came up to her table. They even helped her navigate the few steps down to the main floor, leading her down first, then quickly bringing her walker down to her and making sure she got out to the entrance safely. Kudos to the staff; such care for older ones dining alone is rare and precious.

Came here for dinner and ordered the spinach dip, escargot, prime rib and filet mignon. The portions are huge and everything was delicious but had to take some home. Our server Brandon gave us good service and even provided us with a complimentary cake!
