This place is amazing for all of you chocolate lovers! They have a great selections of chocolate (white, dark, milk, mix, etc.) and you can customize your drinks or order according to your preference. The portion size is pretty generous and it is recommended to order the sharing plate. The chocolate fondue is one of their signature dish that I highly recommend. If it's your first time, I would suggest Cacao 70 Signature Hot Chocolate. It's almost double the price of the regular hot chocolate, but it is served on a cool glassware glazed with chocolate, and you get to mix the drink yourself. The service was great even though it was very busy in the evening and there were a long lines. Despite that, the staffs were able to deliver excellent service and get our order quickly. This place is great for all occasion, whether it is a date, hangout with friends, or for family. It is, after all, very cozy and has a good vibes.

The first time I visited Cacao70, I really liked the coffee and that's why I wanted to go back. Since then, I've been to about 3 of their restaurants and found out that their coffee isn't that great. But their main treasure is chocolate!🍫😍 It tastes great, it's beautifully served and everything you get with it is so delicious! It’s a ideal place when you want to stop for something good while strolling around the Distillery.

Pretty good sweet / savory creperie. Various hot chocolate and fondue options, they also serve sandwiches (I recommend to try chicken and waffles - very nice indeed). The place could be busy because of the tourists in the Distillery District during the day so I usually go there a bit later.

Chocolate lovers, save some space after your food for desserts, and head directly to this place please. This place offers varieties of desserts made with different types of chocolates, that you get confused and a little excited at the same time. The staffs were so friendly to us. We almost made it 15 mins before the closing time, and we had an amazing time. You could see chocolate fondue being mentioned in most of the reviews, and it's totally worth it. I wish I could go to this place everyday after dinner 🤠

The place is so spacious and neat! We had a meat lover omelette meal, mini fruits + chocolate dip, and hot chocolate. Everything was so good! We enjoyed and had a great time. The employees are so friendly as well. The experience was 10/10, definitely recommend to come by this place and get your sweet addiction on!

A must-go place for all the chocolate lovers in Toronto. Their shareable plate for two was jaw dropping and so yummy; it was so fun roasting marshmallows and dip fruits in chocolate!! Lots of indoor & outdoor seats available.

I ordered an espresso, Tiramisu cake, cheese cake and brownie cake. I was pretty late and got there when they were about to close. I had to do take out because of that, but we were able to sit outside the cafe. They have a nice outdoor area, which I enjoyed. My favourite was the cheesecake because it had whipped cream and raspberry topping. I would come back provided I get to sit inside :)

Nothing special. Crepes were dry and cold when they arrived to the table. Service was okay, but some of our items were wrong. Better places to visit in the distillery area.

The Choco-nut waffle is my favourite here. I love the strawberries with the melted chocolate. I took hubby’s white chocolate serving and drizzled over my strawberries 😍🤤The waitress told us that for a group of 6 and above gratuity of 18% applies automatically 🤷🏾‍♀️

Cacao 70 always has something to satisfy a sweet tooth properly! If you want something light or heavy, drinks for chocolate tastes in cold or hot or just a nice cup of tea with your dessert, this is the spot. The staff are very accommodating and helpful with selecting items. We had a table full of picky eaters and everyone was satisfied with what we ordered. If you are in the distillery and craving desserts, especially chocolate (who isn't?!?) I highly recommend stopping by!

One of the many fun spots to hit up in the Distillery district. We stopped in to get out of the cold and this was a very fun way to warm up. Tried the Cacao Blast (milk chocolate), the Cacao 70 Factory Hot Chocolate (dark chocolate) and 2 churro donuts - the coffee and the chocolate peanut butter. The photos probably won't go justice to how good the experience is. For those that love chocolate, this place is an absolute must!

Wandered into this cafe on a cold Sunday morning walk through the distillery district. Immediately we were greeted and after a quick scan of the menu we opted for an amazing breakfast sandwich, grilled cheese and hot chocolate and a cacao 70 signature mocha. Everything was great! Service was fast and the area spacious and clean. The signature 70 mocha was delicious!!! Try it! Thank you for a very nice experience!

I always love coming to Cacao 70. It’s small and cozy. The menu is pretty large for what the place is. The drinks are hot and delicious. The serving sizes are also pretty good. The ambiance of where the eatery is located is great. For the location and what they are serving, I’m surprised it’s not more expensive. Really great for a cute date night, and it’s family friendly. Would definitely come back.

I went here with my friend in winter. They have a nice interior and lots of space to sit. The servers were really nice and friendly. We got the chocolate fondue platter and iced coffees. It was a perfect desert combination after a walk in the cold in winters. I would recommend this place for deserts.

Came with a group of 7, and 2 of us were very late trying parking and staff were very flexible and understanding, since we know how hard is managing that with reservations in a busy Sunday. The food was great, the texture of the cappuccino foam could be better. Fair price and our server Joe was excellent, super kind, and even though he was the only one server on the floor he killed it! :)

Really enjoyed our dessert and tea this afternoon. Shared the double fondue platter and we got to choose the chocolate we each preferred (white chocolate and praline chocolate which is like Nutella btw). I was a little bummed to discover that the bottom of the cup was actually three quarters the way up but was happy that it was just enough chocolate for the fruit and waffle pieces. Note that I like to completely cover my pieces when dipping. Enjoyed some tea with our dessert and was happy with getting hot water refills at our request. Very friendly service. Can't wait to try other items - sweet and savoury, in the future!

Came here on a rainy Sunday and the server greeted us. We ordered the sharing plate. My friend has a peanut allergy so it was nice that it was accommodated :) the dessert was amazing! Chocolate was decadent, the s'mores combo was scrumptious! Also had some green tea on the side.

Food was really good but the service needs work. After we had sat down, we waited 15min before someone came by with a glass of water. Typically, guests should be greeted within 5 min of being sat. I'd understand if it was busy and they were running around; however, that was not the case. All the servers were taking their time walking around from table to table and I felt zero urgency coming from them. At the 25 min mark, someone came by and asked us if we had already ordered. As it turns out, the person we ordered from was not our server and there was no communication between the team members. Otherwise, he wouldn't have come up to us almost 30min after our seating of we had ordered already overall, very poor service experience. But the food was great. kitchen staff killed it 👍 I just wish front of house would be as good

The Cocoa crepe with fruits was delicious!! On the other hand, the sofas of the place were already very old and because of that it wasn’t nice seating there.

Great Hot chocolate! Omlet was good. Waffle's taste was okay but vanilla icecream was rich in taste and texture. The one thing I didn't liked at all was thier Mocha Chocolate Ice drink. All other food and drinks were nice. Best thing is their fruit bowl with liquid milk chocolate.
