The only good thing was the front counter staff! Rooms were dirty (we had 2) and i mean, an outhouse would have been better. Smelled of terrible cigarette smoke trying to be covered by some strong floral spray. Police cruised the parking lot continuously. Questionable characters hanging around out front. Since we checked in around dinner time, there were no other hotels with rooms that accepted pets near by. Slept with one eye open! 😡 Never again Motel 6!

They need their air ducts cleaned!! My bf and I have stayed here several times in the past. Last time we were there we had stayed in room 307 for a night already when we started feeling tightness in our chests and had difficulty breathing. We looked in the vent and it was disgusting. The next morning we spoke to front desk asking for a refund & they said the manager wasn’t there. We waited in the room for a resolution to the issue and they called the police on us to tell us to leave!! Worst customer service ever

Worst motel 6 ever by far. The hallways are completely filthy and don’t look like they have been cleaned for months. The room was also filthy, I had to clean the table myself because your cleaning staff don’t do their jobs. The bathrooms are also not maintained well, the shower was falling apart and would barely work. I also had to clean the toilet seat myself because the cleaning staff do not do their jobs. While sleeping I noticed the beds headboard was also dirty, the floor in my room was filthy and also creaking badly and falling apart. Lot of cheap fixes on the damages to the walls. When I took my concerns to the woman at the front desk, she dismissed my concerns and said that everything had been just cleaned. For the price you’re paying, we deserve to be given a clean room. As for the cleaning staff, they spend more time talking to each other and laughing than they do cleaning anything. Please avoid this location if possible, it is not managed well, the place is extremely run down and disgusting, lot of sketchy people staying there and also smoking in non smoking rooms which the staff don’t seem to mind a bit.

I had to visit it for a short term stay and found that one of the cigarette butt was sitting under my non smoking bed and housekeeping service was not available during my whole stay and I had to clean my room by myself personally. And they were out of stock for laundry detergent powders’ small packets, so I had to use my body wash as clothes detergent to use in an emergency….

Hallways were dirty and smelled not the greatest, trash bags left beside the trash bin that needed to be emptied. Room was ok, quite small. Could tell that someone had been smoking cigarettes in the bathroom even though it is a smoke free hotel???Our bathroom wall had graffiti, shower not very clean and poor water pressure. No screen in the window so unable to enjoy fresh air safely. Staff were kind and that was probably the only nice part of our stay. Would not stay again

Rented 2 rooms and both were filthy, so this wasn't just a one-off. First room had a bag of sunflower seeds spilled between the beds. The second room had broken plastic cutlery scattered on the floor. Shower unit was covered in hair. We found a large black bug inside of a pillow case. NOT a cockroach but it belonged outdoors. Big dog barking all night. The mattresses were saggy and awful. Just a nasty dive!

Worst motel stay of my life. Dirty room where nothing worked, and reeked of cigarette smoke. Also if you love listening to loud barking dogs and owners who have no control over their dogs yell at them you will feel right at home, otherwise it was a dive.

I have to say that this motel has been very good to me and my dad that have stayed here for over 10 years. Cleaning ladies named Althea, Paulette and Jenny have been awesome with us. (I hope I spelled the names right) have always been very good to us. The manager has always been friendly to me, saying hello every time he sees me. Sonny has always been a friend and friendly. A front desk clerk named Melanie has always been friendly and good to me and my dad. The overnight front desk clerks not as much. Altogether the staff has always looked after our needs. The maintenance guy named Paris is a friendly guy too. Their accommodation of all our needs has been outstanding through 10 years here. There is no better place to go. It's cheaper than most places. It's comfortable. Affordable. It's been a home for a long time. Love all of them here.

Very untidy and unpleasant place to stay in. It looks big from outside but inside there is unpleasant odor everywhere. There is no house keeping no proper washrooms no proper service. I have stayed in this hotel in USA where the experience was completely opposite. I think its the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and would never recommend it for anyone. Frankly I liked nothing about this hotel, I think I did not get the worth I paid for every night. It is just that we dint have time to look for another place and dint have a choice to move, so we had to stay here unfortunately.

It was a pleasant stay here the check in and check out was so easy the staff was so pleasant the price is amazing the room my fiancé and I had was really nice and clean and I’d be definitely coming back soon

This was the first destination that I went right after I deboarded my flight! It was a wonderful experience! Bestest meat 🥩 ever! Bedsheets were without any drop! Must stay!!

All Staff members (front desk and house keeping) were very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable. Location was great, easy on and off the highway with great shopping and resturants with-in walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again

Great staff...easy check in and check out. Lots of free parking. Location is in a very quiet area of a very busy city. Very clean room. I would definitely recommend this motel to my friends and family!

We did not have a positive experience here. The entire hotel including the rooms smell like cigarettes. There are dogs barking and doors slamming all day and all night long. Lots of people loitering around the entrances of the hotel that make you feel unsafe when coming and going. The staff are very unconcerned about your complaints. The room we checked into smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke even though we were told there was no smoking in the hotel. The staff claimed there was nothing they could do. We do not feel like we got our value out of this stay and will not be returning in the future.

I booked a room for three days in june and cancelled before 48 hours of arrival. Already more than 30 days passed even they are not responding to my call and do not give back money back. Before that they mention no prepay required and deduct money from my credit for 5 days. worst hotel ever . Never 👎 recommend .

Ok .... good for night stay but location not ideal for transit riders

Bad odor from front door , all hallways, elevators and rooms. All smell of smoke and canabies and pees... Bed sheets were not cleaned and were stained. Toilets very old and clogged and they just gave us another room at midnight and it was noisy, and dirtier than the first one. Internet was not working properly. Sketchy people around the hotel and smoking at the front door and feel unsafe. There were cars at parking that people stayed in the car all night and smoke. TV was not working. Room phone even did not have cable and for the clogged toilet we had to call the front desk by our cellphone. The second room window did not have a flynet and since room was so smelly and smoky we need to keep it open all night. It was a nightmare staying there. Never ever get back to motel 6 anywhere in the whole world. The worst hotel I have ever stayed.

Very bad hospitality, no cleanliness.. staffs are very irresponsible.. gave me two rooms which is not cleaned and we had to wait for soo long to get a room cleaned up ... the room is below average maintained and overall very bad experience staying in the motel.. definitely not gonna come back to this motel.

Terrible place to stay. Please do not go with pictures. Wifi connection was not good at all. Fire alarm went on and nobody was at the reception to answer calls. There was cannabis and smoking smell all over the hallway and some times in room. Bed was not comfortable. It was never been maintained.

Worst motel I ever experienced. They cancelled our reservation a day before we fly out and when we phoned to resolve it, it rang for a long time. Once we got connected, they laughed. That was not very professional service. We were very stressed. If you want a good business, you must be more helpful and try to figure out.

If no star was an option... bed was very uncomfortable(hole in the middle). The carpet in the hall litarelly smelt like someone had peed on it. Location is in the middle of nowhere Had a reservation at an other location the next week that I cancelled the minute a left.

worst experience with them. I booked room for 600$ for 3 nights and cancelled before 2 days of arrival. Didn’t get back refund after cancellation policy of 193$ even they are not responding to call. I didn’t recommend this place for stay. give priority to sleep on the street instead of this hotel.

The staff are good and helpful especially the bellhop/room turnover acclimatisation staff member, Nasir I think his name is. And they did seem to be cleaning up the place opening windows to remove the smell of smoke as well as using copious amounts of detergent to cover the smell. The room left much to be desired with blood and phlegm around the room, as well as a bed that was slightly warped, the heating was spectacular easily hitting 90° or 30°C. I suppose I might risk the place again however for only a night the price being quite alluring for the GTA, especially when looking for an apartment rental or something more long term. Including long term deals, I must add I saw a few parolees (from prison) and a few homeless individuals as well as asylum seekers I'm not sure if this is a temporary situation or not but it does reflect on the hotel quite poorly, such as the lobby not having sofas or chairs for guests.... Eventually I left feeling pretty ill from an unknown source I decided to get into the Marriott which is a lot nicer and amazingly competitively priced.

I travel for hockey and we have stayed at our share of hotels. This was the wrose one of all No outlets in the bedroom only the bathroom 1 pillow on a Queen size bed Elevator broken garbage everywhere as well as liquor bottles... Don't stay here!!! It is a dirty Motel, bad smell everywhere. When we arrived we saw how unhealthy were and we requested a refund of the money that had already been deducted from our credit card. They said that they would return our money, which did not happen, they kept our money. It was a very bad experience, if you go with your family please don't stay here, spend a little more and stay at the hotel that is a couple of minutes away.

Rooms are big as well as very clean. Service is very good according to price. Their hospitality makes the charges reasonable.

I cannot convey strongly enough how disgusting this place is. There were dirty utensils and broken light fixings and the washrooms were terrible with used towels. I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with some sort of rash or disease due to sanitation conditions.

This place is the worst I've ever stayed in. The entire place stinks of cigarettes/pot. It is dirty and disgusting. I had to change my room because of a faulty smoke detector and cockroaches. The second room that I moved to didn't have the bed made and so, the guy at the front desk and I had to make the bed, get the pillows etc. Stay away from this place! The people at the front desk, however, are the only positive this place has. I feel bad for them. I'll definitely not return!

Booked this motel is only because I brought my dog on the road trip. Obviously, it is pet friendly that almost every resident has a pet (dog/cat) with them. The front desk staff will not greet the clients at all, but they would assist if you asked. Basic living environments, it supposed to be a smoke free motel, but people definitely smoked (tobacco & mariguana）all over the place. The first night, a puppy has been barking till 3am, complained to the front desk, nothing changed, and we have to switch to other room which has a broken AC. No daily clean due to COVID situation regarding to the front desk. Equipments are old with loud AC. Some bugs appears at 1st floor. Garbage somehow left in the hallway. Some hairs left from the last customer. Ice maker machine on site.

Don’t book this hotel. Pay 10-20$ more and get a good rooms. Entrance smells like cigarettes. At check in time, they were unable to find our reservation just bcz we book it online. After 2 hours we got our room. Instead of TV and wifi, there is nothing else. We stayed there for 3 days, No room cleaning service at all. Our fault, we reserved it in advance. Bed 🛌 was making noises on moving and thin blankets (only 2 white clothes).

I booked this hotel last minute, as I decided to travel to Toronto for a soccer trip. There’s a lot of parking. Check in was fast and simple. The staff were really nice and helpful. The three stars is solely on the condition of the room. Granted this is the first time I’ve stayed at a Motel 6. First off there’s no coffee maker inside the room. While I didn’t go to see if they had a machine anywhere, I highly doubt it because they had a lot of vending machines in the lobby. The room was just the bare essentials, not more nothing less. The bed had sheets but it wasn’t fluffy and warm (considering it is Canada). Very outdated. I want to emphasise that the room itself was clean. The hallway on the other hand was dirty when I arrived (9PM). Speaking to the front attendant earlier about early check in, he did mentioned they were understaffed. So I could forgive them for this, especially since the room was indeed clean.

Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found the Motel 6 to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The lady at the front desk Himnjli was very friendly and consistently made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back!

AWESOME CX SERVICE but it smells bad in the hallways, room smelled like perfume and smoke but the last straw was the room temp was 28 degrees cel. and wouldn't come down and was told after the a.c doesn't work LOL so checked out

The good: Somewhat pleasant front desk staff Hot water did not run out I never felt unsafe The bad: Terrible noise separation for the room. So much noise in middle of night (approx. 1:30 am until 4:30 am) it was impossible to sleep; doors slamming, people talking, very loud noises from above, people yelling outside, loud car music in parking lot. (And this was in spite of staff looking into the matter; I spoke to them 3 separate times). Tenant in adjacent room often playing music extremely loudly (the music could be heard 75 feet down the hall). Majority of rooms appear to be used for long term rentals (for under-privileged?); not really so much of a hotel?? Zero maid service in room (I stayed 4 nights). Lots of stains in rooms; walls, furniture, light switches, tub, floors, shower curtain. Several cigarette burn marks (tub, furniture, ...). Terrible mattress (resulting in back and shoulder pain for few hours every morning). Furniture is damaged. Room phone doesn’t work. Card reader for the closest exterior door doesn’t work. No plug for the tub or sink. No ice bucket in room - nor was one provided in-spite of asking for one. Ice machine (a) takes a long time to provide ice and (b) often does not work. Quite snowy / unclear TV picture. Dog feces on sidewalks. Looks like 2 or 3 vehicles in parking lot (close to main entrance) may be abandoned / not working. Really felt like I was in a student frat house. Not even a single apology for any of this. I would NEVER, under any circumstances, ever stay at that location again (I'd rather sleep in my car). Worst hotel / motel I have ever stayed in - by FAR - in over 50 years, including my stays in quite poor countries. (And all of the above loveliness for about $25/night MORE than the last place I stayed - which had ZERO issues.) FYI - I do not have very high expectations / hotel standards (ie 'Comfort Inn' type quality would be fine for me). March 27, 2023
