This is a great little cafe to have a very good coffee and muffins/cookies to have either indoor or on a nice patio overlooking a small park near the lake. The coffee is always quite good and I usually opt for an apple spice muffin which are invariably soft and fresh and tasty. The staff are super friendly. For a bird watcher you can see a list of birds seen in the area. Take a stroll along the lake from there and you can enjoy your coffee while catching the breeze off the lake. Highly recommend.

I love this place as the new owner always has a beautiful smile on her face and provides friendly and genuine service to all customers. Their baked goods are also delicious.

Wonderful coffee spot ☕ for the neighborhood! Great milk 🍼 to coffee ratio in cappuccino and flat white. The coffee is mild (not overroasted) not too bitter, milk is perfectly foamed 👍 close to European quality 🙌 Not a wide variety of bakery, you will find some muffins 🧁and cookies 🍪 only. I would love to see more freshly baked pastries there... The garden 🏡 behind is nice and cozy to seat in with a cup of freshly brewed coffee ☕ and enjoy warm summer morning. Recommended !

It's just far too adorable here. The atmosphere is sweet and open, especially on a sunny day. the coffee and treats just enhance your experience. Come and enjoy! This is my first time and I can't wait to come back.

The last few times i’ve been in, they’ve been filling my 12oz mug halfway with drip coffee and charging me for a large. This morning when i mentioned it really should be a medium, they dumped some down the drain before changing the price. Most coffee shops will usually just fill the mugs up for drip, but even if thats not your policy, perhaps you should use a measuring vessel for consistency of size. I still cant believe they would throw it down the drain than measure the oz. While this was happening the barista was lecturing another guest about her coffee order, who was clearly upset and uncomfortable that she was being berated over her coffee. The line grew longer and longer so the staff could justify their indignation. The coffee is good, but not for the price nor the condescending service. If you’re going to have to wait 10 minutes in line for a coffee anyway, just take the extra time and walk to Jimmy’s.

Beautiful quaint cafe. Lots of dairy free options for drinks and an awesome gluten free cookie choice. There’s a lot of small things being sold here from local vendors. The coffee here is ‘bird friendly’! :) There’s a nice seating area inside with comfy chairs in the front and back, and a gorgeous outdoor area in behind that has access to the trail to the waterfront. There is a single stall washroom available for guests!

I used to come here when i lived in the mimico area. Last time i was down here was no different. I love this place. You get what you paid for. Good quality coffee. The Business is eco friendly. My straw was the cardboard style not plastic. The store was clean. Arrows on the floor to let you know it's a one way. Door was opened at the back to avoid crowding in the store. They have a chart to show birds that have been seen in the area. I always get the iced mocha. And everytime i have it. Its always the same. And it tastes good. So that means good consistancy not like chained coffee stores that always have new untrained workers. Definetly a place i go get my coffee when we go to amos waites. Probably going to visit again in a couple weeks when we go that way again. Keep up the good work.👍

I only went to this Cafe to purchase green coffee beans as I have been roasting my own for a very long time. Two of my usual suppliers have been having issues with obtaining product so I thought I would give there beans a try. I was very disappointed that they only had a few options. I have also been very disappointed in roasting each of the two beans that I purchased. They have absolutely nothing to do with the descriptors and are boring and lackluster. Will not be purchasing there again for sure.

The coffee was excellent. It reminded me of how delicious coffee can be. I was meeting a friend and there was only 1 chair available because the patio was closed due to the weather. The staff materialized an extra folding chair and a small table out of thin air. They are located right next to a park, which leads right to the lake, which I'm looking forward to exploring on my next visit.

The best cafe you'll ever come across! The coffee and drinks are nice! They care about the environment and they are bird-friendly! You'll always be welcomed with the best staff on hand, they are so friendly and welcoming and they try to learn your orders and names and try to have a conversation with you! Love that about them!! <3 I always see them dancing and laughing, always having a blast! And on top of that, they have a lot of little fun things to look at! Such as earrings, and necklaces ( Go support Tala's Gems and Moondra! They are small businesses supported by Birds and Beans and have amazing gems! ) Little fun snacks, and refreshing drinks if you aren't craving hand-crafted drinks! But you HAVE to try their coffee! I am not big on coffee but I always get excited to see what their new blends are! And their lattes are just to die for! So so delicious and each staff makes it with lots of love! You also will have a beautiful patio to see while enjoying your coffee outside! They also carry fun alternative milk catered to those who don't drink milk; such as soy, coconut, and oat milk! And are vegan/vegetarian friendly! Please support the business they deserve it! <3 They work so so hard and they deserve every ounce of love, the new owner is amazing and super duper down to earth! <3

Lovely place, great coffee and amazing staff. Sustainable, environmentally friendly and ethically sourced coffee beans. It's a hidden gem of the Etobicoke South. The price is on the higher end, but its a understandable trade-off for all it offers. One of my favorite places.

Exceptional coffee stop in Mimico. Wonderful people and great coffee. Lots of other treats and things. Beside an awesome park leading to the lake.

This is a hidden gem! I spotted this little unassuming coffee shop the other day and checked it out this morning! So glad I did! It seems small from the outside but it's like the TARDIS full of wonder and amazing coffee and bakes goodies and more on the inside. They have indoor and outdoor seating in the back. The owners are super warm and friendly! Loved the coffee and dark chocolate chip cookie. One of the best I've had! Apparently theve been there for 17years and I hope that they stay for many, many more - we need our coffees 😍

Really good spot - fantastic back patio to hang out in the summer time. My favourite part is the reusable takeaway cups, what a fantastic initiative!

This place is a hidden gem, it has one of the best coffee taste in town and a small patio to enjoy when weather’s good outside!

Highly recommend, nice little place with a friendly, warm, and inviting atmosphere. My base drink is always a latte and it was perfect and the my little ones loved their hot chocolate. Bought myself two bags of beans, can’t wait to try it out.

Ran into this establishment accidentally. We were looking for the usual large chain but found this gem. Little patio in the back, bike rack. Food and coffee were fresh and fairly priced. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Pretty good coffee they just don’t have any almond milk ever.. Other than that it is good enough to still stop by. I like the fact that they sell good quality cacao and other products as well.

My favourite place in the city for coffee. Organic, fair trade, bird friendly and amazing tasting. Try not to eat too many of the chocolate chip cookies - they are super addictive. The owner is always working hard to keep the service going and also keeps the shop and bathrooms very clean!

Yum yum give me some more! Coffee is some of the best I’ve tasted in the city. Excellent flavour profile. The dark chocolate chip cookie is amazing dipped in the coffee 🤤 The owner keeps a clean shop and leads a friendly energetic team. Lots of goodies and are very conscious of their environmental and social impact.

GREAT COFFEE! A nice little place, unassuming, friendly neighborly atmosphere. Their house blend is splendid rich and delicious. They have a nice little back yard. They carry unique products like farm fresh eggs.

The best coffee in Toronto and remarkable organic products. Very pleasant customer service. Always excellent tasting and outstanding aromatic smell. I love to have a cup of coffee with delicious threads like biscotti or breakfast cookies in this place. Thank you for the awesome work 🙂

Love this place! On sunny days my Mom and Dad get on their scooters and we head down along the waterfront trail. We always stop at Birds and Beans for a coffee and cookie. I've had their smoothies too, it's all delicious. There's a cozy patio out back with a view of the park. The staff are wonderful. Don't forget to leave a tip, they deserve it :)

My husband recommended this place and I went in last week to see what the hype is about. I walked in clueless and told the cashier it was my first time and she recommended the oat milk latte with cinnamon. I also got the date squares (delicious and soft). Overall, the staff were (two ladies) super helpful and friendly, the latte and dessert were very good. I would definitely go there again. Thanks for the nice experience!
