This is a Big beautiful park. Location of this part is near Victoria Park subway station and Danforth avenue. Huge playing ground for children. Good place to get together with friends and family. Usually it is crowed in the summer time when it becomes most beautiful.

Dentonia Park, a lively epicenter in East York, frequently hosts community events and concerts, notably those honoring the Bangladeshi-Canadian community. I had the delightful experience of participating in the Anondo Mela festival in July 2023, an event masterfully organized by the Jalalabad Association of Toronto. The park was brimming with attendees, stalls displaying a variety of crafts, apparel, and street food, all set to the backdrop of enchanting Bengali music and dance. I extend my gratitude to Ronny and his team for orchestrating such a memorable occasion. The park is also the site of the Shahid Minar, a monument that pays tribute to International Mother Language Day, commemorated annually on February 21st. Dentonia Park genuinely embodies a sense of community unity and cultural richness.

Very neat and beautiful place, road side parking available first come first service, easy to access by Victoria subway which is 5 minutes walkway from the subway.Highly recommended if you want to ever plan to join for Eid prayers.

I love this park, its busy with lots of children playing in summer season.., has swings and fountain and slides and very big playground. Good to see people playing cricket, baseball and other games here! One can see lot of community gatherings here like shomoy mela and other exihibits. My go to place for a nice evening walk..!

Nice park and great playground. The splash pad is old and needs maintenance -- the ground surface is worn away in parts, making it extremely slippery. I've only been twice and I've seen several kids wipe out. There's a lot of garbage in the park too. Nice to have a washroom.

The park was clean and inviting when I stopped for a chat with a friend on one of the many benches spaced throughout the well kept grounds. Dog walkers seemed diligent where poop and scoop is concerned, always a good thing for a park. Empty due to covid, but I could envision it as it could be on a warm summer evening in better times, and it was good.

The park could use more trees on the south side. It's well-maintained however there is hygiene issue that the areas almost very benches is filled with cigarette butts that send off the unpleasant smell. Overall, it is a nice park.

Park needs maintenance and cleaning. Doesn't really have any official parking spaces. Most parking spots are paid. You have the bwngali festivals happening here amongst others. Needs lighting for events that go past sunset.

This park is nice except it should have a small area for ppl to do bbq. It has water fountains. Playground, but the park is not too big.

Because our puppies are not fully vaccinated, this was the perfect spot to take them for some playtime! With shaded areas to get away from direct sunlight

I like the atmosphere of this park. Watching Cricket matches, kids playing. Many cultures. A beautiful statue celebrating original languages. My new favorite place

Dentonia park is a medium size park where you can find appropriate courts to play outdoors basketball, soccer, baseball and cricket. It also has a nice playground and in summer there are water fountains as well. In winter after a good snowfall there is plenty of snow to build a snowman

Great park to take your dog to (although not an official dog park). They have wide fields and water fountains for both humans and pooches!

A very good place. This place often organizes Eid prayer as well. I visited a few times on multiple occasions. Subway runs under the field. You might feel it, but you don't need to worry about it. It's completely fine.

Finally got back into my walking.. Took a month break, after i dropped down to 149.9 lbs. But i was getting too comfortable with eating again and did indoor exercises that weren't getting the job done. So decided to go back to dentonia park to do 10 laps. Felt good!!

It has got one of the best outdoor soccer field in Scarborough.Nice place to walk and hang out with family. I gave 4 stars only because the washroom is terrible.

  • 3/5 Mairaj Q. 2 years ago on Google
It is located in a low lying area so expecting better ambience with respect to the type of community using the facility is not realistic. Don't like this facility much

Lived in the Scarborough area an haven't been here, enjoyed everything about it. Lots of trees for shade, picnic tables are around, Public washrooms, and a nice park. Kids are friendly, lots of grass area. Definitely returning, a thumbs up

Perfect location. Steps from Vic Park Station, bathroom, shade, well kept, good vibe, water park, playground equipment, not overly hilly, baseball diamond, steps away from shopping if you need a drink, snack, or hat. I really liked it. Not even any geese!

Most beautiful park. Accessible bathroom cleaned twice a day. Maybe it should be four times a day or condemned. Leave your wheelchair outside, unless you can find a lake to drive thru after you leave the urinary bathroom.

There is a children's play area and a splash pad. There is also a dry pond-like sloped area under mature trees! Kids love to run up and down. Nice place to spend time with family and friends. A basketball court, soccer field, baseball court, and a concrete pitch to play cricket with taped-tennis balls are part of the park. International mother language day monument is recently added to this park. I wish they had a sand pit for the kids!

  • 4/5 Saffat K. 3 years ago on Google
A decent sized park with a playground, baseball field and basketball court. There are goal posts on the field to play soccer and even a pitch for the cricket enthusiasts. The park also has walking/biking trails and public washroom amenities. It serves as a great relaxation zone for the neighbourhood.
