$45, to be exact is what I paid with 15% tip for this take out order. I think what disappointed me the most is that the tacos were so dry: dry beef and cilantro/onion on a dry taco shell, it was really disappointing. The plantain (which was underripe) came with sour cream but it was starting to curd. Presentation was awful. I know this is a takeout order, but for the price you’re paying it really should have been plated nicer. Shrimp taco was also dry. The shredded chicken taco was moist, but too much going on in one taco. The best item here was the fish taco. I can say i really enjoyed that taco. Would i eat here again? No, i would not.

Incredible experience tonight at Mexitaco. It was mine and my wife's first time and the food and drinks were great. I had the mexitaco beer which was a light tasting lager and my wife a strawberry margarita. Both drinks were brought instantly as well as the food. I cannot say how quick it was because we ordered it and less than 10 minutes later we had the food we ordered. We ordered the nachos and tacos de birra. The chips were fresh tasting and crispy and delicious and I would definitely recommend them. 👌 The tacos de birra were phenomenal and I cannot say enough good about them I loved the flavourful beef, the complimentary sauces and the beef au jus wasn't necessary but a nice touch. The food was so good we also tried the baja fish tacos and then shared the churros. Overall the experience was great and all of the staff was so very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return probably next weekend for the live music and more of their delicious food.

Food was okay, but the service and server were outstanding. They were smiling the entire time and were a great pleasure to interact with! Their beef tacos were definitely much better than their pork or chicken.

Highly recommend. Food taste super delicious. Ordered shrimp tacos & quesadillas. Although a lil pricey but taste wise good. Staffs are friendly. Interior is 10/10. Don't forget to take picture with the skeleton by the entrance.

Solid food and very quick service. The environment was a bit interesting; the older music videos playing on the TV kind of reminded of cheap bars in South Korea but not necessarily in a bad way. If it was a busy night I could see the inside getting a bit hot with only the one AC unit inside.

Great customer service, went in unplanned and just searched for a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant is really nice , and the food was amazing. We got the pina colada to drink , and ordered the tacos with pineapple, and birria tacos. The wait time for food was about 10 minutes , and it tasted fresh.

Dining here was absolutely amazing. The food is INCREDIBLE and tastes very authentic. My favourites were the birria tacos and the churros. The drinks are also very delicious - I got a paloma and it was so refreshing and yummy! The service was incredible, all the servers were SO attentive and sweet. To top it all off, the ambiance is so much fun! The decor is so colourful, and the music was really good. The prices are also really good - three of us ate till totally full (2 apps and a main each, plus 2 drinks and 2 desserts) for just over 100$. For that quality food and experience, that is a steal. 100% recommend this spot for dinner and drinks!

So so. Went here after a bad long day! Heard their fish tacos was great however I will review on what I had. Fries with guac. Veggie tacos and veggie tostado. So so! Not the best. Beer was good.

I went to this place recently and tried their Veggie Tacos, Mango frozen margarita and Jalapeño margarita. The veggie tacos were really good but they added cheese to that for $1.99 without asking me and that I did not like as I did not want the cheese in the first place, about the drinks they were pretty good too but Frozen mango margarita was not the way I was expecting. But still I would recommend this place as the issues I had can be overlooked.

I had a late night dinner at Mexitaco - sampled several plates and had a perfect dining experience. Food was delicious, fast, and my waiter was the BEST (peep my custom tres leches dessert plate!!) Will 100% be returning next time I'm in Toronto. 😊

So I’ve lived in the area for almost a yr and never really wanted to try this place but did it because I wanted to see if it was good. Some stuff were good. The quesoquilla(?) was a big disappointment. It had no flavour at all. I had to dip it in my hot sauce to actually finish it. And the fries are so frozen and McCain super fries. They’re gross and the wings are definitely the wings you buy from Costco. Will never come back and eat here. Maybe it could be that I’m coloured but I’m used to authentic flavour not some fake flavour or no flavour. Also, they’re very dirty. I’ve worked in restaurants where you have to make sure things are THOROUGHLY cleaned. My utensils were not really cleaned. Also, the ketchup bottle was dirty. My fries had an extra something in it. So totally not a fry

We went for dinner around 10pm and to our surprise, they were already closing! Even though I called before and told them that we're coming. That was unexpected. However, the food was good, fresh served, tasty. Price is on a little upper side, guess because it's a semi-bar. I would recommend their food for the evening/dinner, but only for dine-in.

We ordered tacos and burritos from here for the first time. The package was clean. 2 tacos in a box. when we opened the take out everything was neatly in place. Everything that we ordered were very tasty I especially like the taco with shrimp and pineapple sauce. It taste so light & refresh. Also ordered burritos. They are very filling and they are okay. The total meal it was about $60. I will definitely order again from them.

Overall okay. The service here is incredible and the atmosphere is nice but portions are relatively small. Not the best food here but it's a great vibe. All the items lacked flavoured and were under seasoned. High price for the portion size.

Hidden gem in Scarborough, I got their chorizo tacos and really enjoyed them. Lots of filling for the price and super tasty. It’s rare to find good authentic Mexican restaurants in Scarborough but Mexitaco is definitely worth a visit!

Amazing Tacos and even more spectacular services! This location is very low key and cozy. Have to park at the NoFrill across the street but I don’t mind since all their food items are as authentic as it gets

We decided to stop by after constantly driving past, it was well worth it. The food isn't too pricey and it hits all the cravings you may have for some Mexican food! We ordered the Mexican Fries ($18.99) to start, it was addictive. Once you start eating it it's hard to stop until it's done. The fries were fresh and crispy and the sauce was really nice. We then ordered the Quesadilla De Carne Asada ($9.99) and the Tacos De Birria ($19.99). Both were delicious and definitely worth ordering a second time. Although, they were a little bit greasy it didn't take away from the flavour. For dessert we had the Tres Leches Cake ($7.99). They give you quite a big portion so it's enough for two people to finish. It was really good. The customer service was really good too and everything arrived fairly fast. The food is delicious and real authentic Mexican. Large menu with a ton of great options. Service is fast and friendly. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because it's leaning towards the expensive end. That said, the food is well worth the price and I will definitely keep going back

Amazing spot for Mexican food! I'm surprised it took me so long to find it. Parking is probably the only concern since it's not located in a plaza but a street corner. I'd recommend parking across the street at no frills but not sure if that's allowed. On to the food and service. Extremely friendly staff with not much to share on options cause they thing everything on the menu is good. So we tried a few drinks and tacos as in the name. The mezcal margaritas are phenomenal and pair extremely well with the tacos! Honestly, everything looked great when it passed by and the ambiance was as authentic as one would believe. Definitely be back again!

Nice cozy restaurant/bar with delicious food & nice vibes. It's hard to find good mexican food in the GTA & I can honestly say this place is definitely the best spot for it!

Overall tasty food! Quick and friendly service located in a busy intersection at VP and St. Clair Ave. E. I got the beef birria tacos and the nachos with chorizo on top which were absolutely delicious and filling! Delightful ambiance despite its small location but I look forward to coming back here to try more dishes! Definitely recommend going here for a night out with some friends and for authentic Mexican food.

Fantastic service and the Birria tacos were amaaazing. Great guacamole and sangria too and the family I went with loved the fish tacos.

The food was good, but be prepared to wait when it's busy. The food was fresh and tasted very authentic. Prices are a little on the higher side once you add in guacamole and cheese. They have a nice closed off patio so when dining you don't feel like you are at the corner of an intersection. The staff were friendly and polite. There is a good selection of tacos and the Tacos de Camarones al Pastor were a personal favourite.

This place is a favourite for sure, the foods great, the vibe is great, and the waiters are very kind. It’s a tad bit disorganized if im being honest but I don’t mind cause it’s made up for overall with everything else. If you’re an impatient person or just very critical of the places you eat this might not be the place for you. If you’re looking for a casual place to eat some good food then it’s pretty great.

Took my friend here for her birthday and we enjoyed it. There was good food, fast service, and great music - perfect recipe for a night out. Only reason I’m giving it a four star is because the fish in the fish tacos were cold. Not sure if it was supposed to be like that. Nonetheless, I’d come back.

We went at a great time as there wasn’t much traffic and we were served very quickly! The atmosphere was great and the food was great as well. Really enjoyed the birria tacos and would definitely return for some more the next time I crave tacos

The food and aesthetics were amazing and appealing. We ordered the nachos, tinga tacos and the chicken machete. We also ordered the Horchata and Jamaican drinks. The tacos were decently priced, just wished they were larger in quantity. Overall, a great experience.
