I took my cat to see the vet because she was vomiting couple times a week. I paid for a physical exam, blood and urine test as was recommended by the doctor. It was about $500. The next day we got a call to let as know our pet is healthy and all the test came back normal. The same evening my cat vomited and brought up a huge worm mix in with the food. I took the vomit to the clinic and got a call the following day that my husband answered that the sample was a round worm. I asked if the clinic offered an explanation why were the test results normal, but the answer was no. No explanation, no apologies. I will not be returning to this clinic any more.

Very accommodating, attentive friendly staff. Location is good. They have pet products for sale. There are different veterinarians you can choose too. Many parking area around with fee. There are few behind the store which is free. Lots of different shops in the area. Bus run and stop every few minutes. No line ups today. They take walk in check ups for regular clients.

This vet was recommended to me by my breeder and I am very pleased with the service @jetblackdane gets here! The staff are super friendly and helpful. I really like the reminders I receive regarding upcoming appointments

Very disappointed with this organization. My dog Simba was seen my Dr. Degrass 4 years ago. I moved out of the area and my local vet had no appointments so I reached out to this vet and was totally blown off. My dog had some lumps on his neck. I called in and they said send us pictures of my dogs wounds and they would respond by email or phone. They totally ignored me and did not respond and did not care for the well being of my family pet. I will never go here again as they clearly only about money and not the well being of animals in my experience. Very disappointed in your rude secretary and the man who answered the phone said someone would get back to me after I sent the emails which he confirmed he received and they just ignored me. Terribly guys.

This is where I have brought my puppy since day one. Nothing but professionalism and care. They even suggest a plan and vaccines that were breed specific. Would highly recommend this vet clinic.

The vet gave my puppy 5x the amount of dewormer per dosage for each meal. The vet then proceeded to blame on her computer input rather than her overdosing my dog. Now he has a low immune system and extremely high white blood cells. Basically poisoned my dog without a proper apology. Thanks for almost killing him

Phenomenal care. Came in for emergency cat care last week; everything was fine but the vet (Emily) was very thorough and gentle. Follow up this week with Wilma was also the height of professionalism and kindness. Extra shout out to Ronda the Receptionist for calming me down when I was worried about my fur baby! Yearly physicals for my cats also always go well. Wilma is our go too and she is professional, attentive, kind, and very good with my three, one of who is very very anxious. She knows her stuff!

Kit-Cast, a stakeholder in the Ridder rocketeers/musketeers, had long been troubled by teeth from a rough life before he saved this man (Mi hombre slept atop my belly on a floor mat for months: deal-done and dusted). Mister-Man helped light his Daddy-Dude's fire, a fierce vigor for life and love. He brought angel wings: double down when faced with "titans" of disabling despair. Cat & me got a quaint home together. Since then, his Cat-dadio fell in love with the moon/lady: black cats bring prosperity by purpose, pride and peace (him and my doggo would have been best-buds)🥲. Cast loved wifey instantly too: destiny. We-three have a passion for love & life. In a tantilizing whirlwind: my boy and I flew north and began life a-new. 😵‍💫 Both teeth from past trauma finally safely removed by Sarah: him + parents happy! Our moon-eyed child, a fuzz-nugget of innocence and empathy, free (his parents too). 🫂 Jennifer, Wilma, Coline, Owen and the team of VCA Vet-Techs were incredible! This is a special Vet. My dog had an emergency yesterday and they allowed me to bring him right in, and had a doctor look at him immediately. I can’t thank them enough!

I was quite worried and anxious when I took my cat to Secord. They were able to fit me in the same day I called and the receptionist I spoke to was kind and comforting. I was greeted warmly upon arrival and saw Dr. Sindu right on time. She took a detailed history and walked me through her thought processes regarding figuring out what was going on. As someone who is fairly familiar with medical terms and biology, I appreciated her receptiveness to my more specific questions. I always felt that she was being transparent about what may be going on and what the options and prices were. She is professional and caring - excellent bedside manner. As my cat’s case became more of an emergency, the staff worked quickly to secure me a specialist appointment at another clinic, and comforted me as I sat in the waiting room. They also did an excellent job at continuing to stay on top of other scheduled appointments despite my emergency case. A couple days and a surgery (at the VEC) later, Dr. Sindu and Colleen phoned me to see what had happened. I felt that myself and my cat were truly cared for at Secord by all staff members I encountered! Huge thanks to them :)

Absolutely horrendous. Refused to fill prescription for my sick cat even though it had been approved by vets. Disgusting.

I love the vets and staff here. Everyone is so kind and friendly and do their best to make every animal feel safe. They care about my pets so much and they are also extremely considerate of the fact that I am on a student budget. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with Dr Foster and Dr deGraff with a very anxious cat and a Labrador. Would highly highly recommend.

Dr. Mike Cormier is the most exceptionally kind, down-to-earth, human, and compassionate individual, doctor, and scientist I have encountered. He will sit on the floor and hand feed an anxious dog treats until he earns their comfort and trust. Equally, he is gifted at connecting with humans, providing sensible and empathetic medicine in times of great sorrow, challenge, and day-to-day routine. He is non-judgmental and takes the time to offer his elaborate understanding of veterinary medicine in relatable terms. He always goes above and beyond and is humble about it. His receptionist and vet tech team are the gold standard. Dr. Cormier is a part of the fabric of our wellbeing and our gratitude for him is limitless. -Julia and Audrey

Saved my dog’s life tbh after all the hospitals wouldn’t take us at all i had chances to move to a closer hospital but by far the best one yet

I have been a client of Secord for 32years,when Dr.Mike started,excellent vet care with all my doggies,but once vca took over a different scenario,it is all about money,The receptionists have never been great but now they excel in being rude,curt and as unpleasant as possible.started trying to book appointment in December for March and ignored,told by one it is too early,now.can’t get anything for 2 months ,what about waiting list people cancel,no they couldn’t care less,so am forced to go elsewhere ,terrible experience with shrews there ,
