As of this moment... the best coffee I have ever had. Wow. And I love excellent third wave cafés... Ninetails is exceptional. I had the espresso tonic, with their "experimental" fermented roast espresso. The combo blew my expectations. I had to just sit with each sip and absorb the flavors. My partner had a matcha tea, and that was top shelf as well. The next time we're in Toronto we will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience!

Very good experience with Ninetails Coffee Bar @ Bloor W Koreantown. Great ambiance Japanese style cafe! Staff were great friendly. Passion and focused to make drinks. Hojicha latte and flat white both were amazing! Hojicha latte was served with handcrafted premium Chawan Tea Bowl. Veggie Sensei thumbs up already 👍 Basque cheesecake was amazing especially with the little cracked salt flakes on the top of the cheesecake. Little game changer. Will definitely drop by again for other pastries and dorayaki (speciality)

Ninetails is a Japanese-inspired coffee bar with a combination of 3 dominant colors: beige, white and black, with a soft touch of green. Walking into the place, I knew exactly where I would wanna spend my afternoon sipping tea in. The place's interior was not original, but rather light and harmonious, most suitable for people who are in search of a place to just sit and melt away with the soothing music. The menu has a narrow selection of drinks compared to other places, only to ensure an absolute satisfaction to its customers. The owners choose to specialize over generalize, they offer three distinctive kinds of coffee beans, each leaves a unique effect on our tastebuds. The pastry section caught my eye. I ordered a Lemon Blackcurrant Danish and a Vegan Apricot Danish, which went perfectly with a pot of Iced Crimson Berry tea. Overall, 8/10, will revisit to try a cup of latte with Brazil Dancing Goats beans.

i've been wanting to try this place for a while and wasn't disappointed!! the ladies behind the counter were so sweet and offered to warm up the pastry for me, but it tasted perfectly good on its own. the cappuccino was great. the ambiance of the cafe is really nice for studying or getting work done, as a lot of people were doing when i came by this morning. this doesn't reflect on the cafe itself, but i'll say that it seems to get pretty busy in the morning - i was lucky that someone left right before me and i was able to sit down - if you come here planning to eat in, you may have to get takeout instead. overall i really liked it - will definitely come back when in koreatown.

Was just passing by the area and decided to grab a coffee here. It was a lovely cafe with great coffee and ambience. The mocha was delicious and the matcha latte was also great. Delighted to have stopped here for coffee. Highly recommend.

Excellent coffee at Ninetails!! I tried their Housemade Financier - Butter, and it was scrumptious!! I highly recommend getting their Long Black with the Colombian beans - complex and exceptional flavour! They also have a range of coffee supplies which is wonderful!

Such a cute cafe! The service here is great. Everyone is very friendly. The store itself is clean and super cute for photos! My favourite item here is the dorayaki. It’s made fresh daily and the red bean filling is is not too sweet (it reminds me of red bean ice cream). I love that I can actually taste chunks of red bean so I know that it’s real bean and not just flavouring.

Cute cafe. Great matcha. Would be better a bit hotter but I'm not complaining. Very smooth and non bitter plus no lumps. They have a small seating area and selection of baked goods on the menu.

My best coffee so far. I tried a Flat white with Ethiopian beans, tasted so well balanced and refreshing. I also enjoyed their burnt cheesecake, which is so cheesy and not too sweet. Superb!

Very calming place for a tasty and flavourful coffee. They offer various coffee beans with particular glamorous notes. It's a remiss not to mention about their pastries, one of the most popular menu is Dorayaki (red beans, matcha and custard), tastes not so sweet but flavourful. The staffs are very welcoming, and willingly to suggest if customers don't know what to choose. The atmosphere is very calm and chilled as the concept, according to one of the staff, is a "short trip to Japan". Lofi songs are played to contribute to the surrounding. Wifi is fast enough to work or study. Highly recommend if you are looking for a Japanese style coffee shop with Zen concept and delicious drinks.

Ninetails is a special coffee shop that offers an amazing experience. The place feels cozy and welcoming with its modern decor and soft lights. They have a wide variety of coffee and tea, each with unique flavors. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to suggest the best choice for you. The pastries are delicious, especially the dorayaki. Whether you love coffee or just want to relax, Ninetails is a must-visit place that leaves you wanting more.

Love this cafe! Great seating and ambiance. Coffee is delicious! The mochas are one of the best in the city and I've been here many times. Quality is high and consistent! It's always busy though so don't expect to find seating.

I love the vibe of this café! The coffee is great, the baristas are friendly, the decor is lovely and music is nice and relaxing. This is a great place to do some work, journal, or read. I had the iced vanilla latte and it was delicious. I’d definitely come again and definitely recommend it!

Love this place! Great quality of beans! Cappuchino always looks amazing and tastes delicious! Also good for Matcha lovers! Love the presentation of it! Not very big location, but there is always a place to stay or work with laptop. They also have a few tables outside!

Cozy study spot, but the store was kind of small. The red bean dorayaki was delicious! As for the drinks, I really enjoyed the strong hojicha taste in my latte but the sweetness was kind of lacking. Overall, good experience :)

It’s the cutest little Asian coffee/latte shop. I really like the hojicha latte. Their dorayaki is made in-house as well. Very comforting flavour a of red bean, custard and matcha.

In a sophisticated and serene corner on Bloor St, I found a tiny gem offering a selection of coffees, teas, and finger foods. Opting for the oat milk matcha latte was a delightful choice—it proved to be delicious. Although it cooled down faster than expected, the staff graciously remade it at no extra charge. I appreciated the vibe and aura of the shop, providing a relaxing atmosphere after the Santa Claus Parade.

I was house-sitting for 2 weeks in the neighborhood and this cafe became my go to for delicious matcha and hojicha lattes. I only wish it wasn't so busy, because it's otherwise so pleasant to sit and enjoy a lovely bowl of warmth. Also really good treatment from the staff.

I've been here for a sweet treat and reading section. Being recommended a vanilla latte by the bartender when I told her I'm a traditional Vietnamese milk coffee drinker, I feel satisfied with the drink. The matcha pancake is also great, I will make it at home for my husband and my kids (though I know I cannot make as good matcha as here lol)

What a lovely place! Perfect Hojicha latte, amazing almond croissant, friendly staffs, aesthetic interior, relaxed music and all this in great Bloor street. I have to say I'm so happy I found this place, it made my Monday so much better! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes real coffee and tea!

Quaint and welcoming spot that makes some really great drinks (matcha lattes, cappuccinos, etc). The baristas are super friendly and they have a great selection of desserts. Definitely making this one of my regular coffee stops.

Amazing Japan-inspired coffee shop with great coffee, zen ambiance and tasty pastries. Wifi is a bonus. They have great coffee made by skilled baristas (you can tell, delicate & graceful coffee brewing without a single extra movement 👌). Coffee beans are from local roasters (de Mello) and some experimental overseas artisan farms. I ordered a cortado and it was one of the best I've ever had. The pastries offerings include some unique Japanese offerings like Dorayaki (think soft fluffy pancakes filled with light and yummy macha, red bean or custard fillings) and French pastries from local bakeries. Overall, a great coffee experience. 5 stars.

Finally there is good coffee in Koreatown!!! We have been here many times and decided they deserved a good review! The service has always been friendly from each worker. We see the same people everyday, they are hard workers! Their baked goods are so nice, and we were so happy to see they make their own yakisoba pan... Reminds us of Japan... We get it every time! Thank you Ninetails, for bringing true quality to koreatown!

Very welcoming and cozy coffee bar. Had a latte that tasted great with very good looking foam art as well. Very friendly employees, and the vibe was great to sit down with a few friends and chat inside. Definitely recommend.

So glad I happened upon this welcoming coffee bar on one of the first cold days of fall (single digit temps!) Although we were the only older people in the cafe, the friendly baristas made us feel comfortable. The Japanese French decor is chill, clean and cozy. Not to mention, one of the cleanest spacious bathrooms ever—my MIL said she could live in it lol! Had the smoothest and prettiest matcha latte made with macadamia nut milk in a Japanese tea bowl and tasty spinach and cheese 🥐 which they warmed to perfection. Would definitely come back; it’s saved on my Google list for fave coffee shops! ☕️ 🍵

A cozy and cute coffee shop located in the trendy Korea Town. You can find delicious baked goods and talented baristas. Love the Japanese decor and offerings (Matcha and Hojicha). They use De Mello roasted beans which is one my faves in the city. Cannot recommend enough!!! There is something for everyone. I'm sipping on a Spiced Chai Latte right now and I am in heaven!

Nice and quiet coffee shop, that we decided to stop by after breakfast. The butter tart was delicious, even though we were not a fan of cold butter tarts, the taste was still amazing. The coffee was good and the aesthetic was nice but the taste didn’t really hit. Overall a nice shop to grab a quick coffee but not a place we would go out of our way for. We ordered the vanilla latte extra sweetener and the flat white.

This is a small business so prices are higher compared to other places. I got their matcha latte and enjoyed it. They have sugar syrup or other additives that you can add yourself. The place gives a simple but modern feel. The people are nice. If you would like to support local business I recommend coming here.

Cute interior and friendly staff, but the drinks and desserts were mediocre. After coming across this place on Instagram, I decided to visit to see if it lived up to the hype. I tried the americano, matcha latte, and almond croissant. Unfortunately, the drinks were a bit toned down and watery. The coffee lacked aroma and flavor. While the latte art looked nice, the matcha was not strong, which might be a personal preference. The croissant was a bit disappointing as well. On the positive side, they do offer a good selection of coffee beans, tea, and equipment. I might give this place another shot, hoping that my experience was just an off day.

I ordered Basque burnt cheese cake and flat white with macadamia nut milk. The cheese cake was tasty. Unfortunately the flat white taste wasn't my preference. It was totally fruity and nutty but I enjoyed the cup of coffee until the bottom. Actually also their pastries look good! I want to try another one next time.

The service I received here was average/cold, the owner looked like she was in a bad mood- maybe I caught her at the wrong time? Meh. I ordered a flat white and a matcha cookie. Both tasted great but my flat white was warm and definitely not at the usual temperature that I’m used to. Loved the interior and decor of this cute coffee shop, the place was neat and clean. Would definitely be back for that matcha cookie, the drinks..not so much.

Such a lovely spot! The matcha latte was fabulous alongside the cheesecake. You can tell everything is prepared with quality ingredients and attention to detail. I'll be sure next time to purchase some tea to prepare at home. Will definitely recommend to others!
