    Totally worth it! I've been training at FS with individual weekly sessions for over 2 years and continue to really enjoy the experience. As a newbie, I have been treated with the utmost professionalism. I have seen and felt great results in a relatively short period of time. The on-line workout sessions have been effective and the outside sessions have been a lot of fun. My coach, Pedro, has been incredibly knowledgeable and motivating--lots of good vibes. Looking forward to keeping up with FS long-term. ONE YEAR follow up: I'm still with Fit Squad and getting very professional weekly training from Pedro with at-home workouts facilitated by a well designed app. The results in my health and overall fitness are incredible. The whole process continues to be fun, engaging and client-centered. Also, everybody who works at the "squad" is supportive and approachable. A positive, affirming and accepting environment. So, after one year, still highly recommended. Looking forward to another year.

    I've been training with Justin since the summer and I couldn't be happier about the results. He's a total professional - attentive, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his job. I feel stronger and fitter than ever because of his training. Not to mention the entire crew at Fitsquad is just great! Such a good vibe. Really positive, inclusive and friendly gym. Highly recommend.

    Highly knowledgable and at the same time extremely compassionate team. They showed me that they truly care about the success of every single person that walks into their doors. Their facility is top notch it's literally every athletes dream set up in there. I went there for the Functional Training Certificate and learned so many things that I honestly didn't know as an athlete.

    Spent a few months doing personal training with Romain. Honestly the best personal trainer I’ve ever had! Super knowledgeable, very attentive, and just all around great guy. He was also creative in programming around some of my chronic injuries to make sure I didn’t hurt myself again. I’m moving out of the city but otherwise would 100% keep going with him! The FIT Squad facility was also awesome - great layout and mix of equipment. Given the way they schedule programming, it never feels crowded and you always have a good amount of space. Would highly recommend to anyone!

    Was looking for a gym with decent equipments in Toronto, I found it! Dumbbells up to 120lbs, several racks and benches. They have "Prime" machines which give you the option of 3 different resistances, I really enjoyed these ones. Also, the team of trainers are super friendly. Great vibe in that gym!

    I was happy to use this gym for training for a week as I worked downtown. Small, but packed with free weights, still plenty of space to lift. Very clean, very welcoming. The staff and trainers were all helpful. I liked having a booked time, knowing that the space wouldn't be over-crowded. Bonus to have both gym towels and shower towels included. For some reason the showers never had shower gel, but I might have caught them on an off-week. I'll definitely go back if I need to be downtown again.

    I have been training with Jordan since last July and it’s been an amazing experience! I was skeptical of personal training at first but Jordan has won me over. He pays a lot of attention in your form and even a slight adjustment changes the intensity. Jordan is also just the friendliest person you’ll get to meet - always greeting you with a smile, cheering you on and ask about your day. A year into training with Jordan, I feel physically stronger, better and healthier! The gym itself is also very well-equipped and the equipments are well-maintained. The space can feel crowded during the busy period but it looks like the gym is expanding so it’ll likely be more spacious soon!

    Fit Squad experience has been fantastic. It started with their ingenious pivot this past summer to do an outdoor gym to accommodate health and safety protocols. Based on this and their IG posts, we felt this was a great opportunity to kick start our fitness. We signed up for personal training with Pedro and our fitness regime has been terrific! He is very personable, knowledgeable, accommodating for both me and my wife, and motivating (are we really strong like bull?). We were sad that the outdoor gym closed and moved inside and we were not disappointed. Fit Squad has been very accommodating and adjusting to current safety protocols. We recommend you try it out and let them know your fitness goals and they will accommodate. We are seeing the results!

    I started going to Fit Squad in the summer, looking to get back in shape after a lot of Covid inertia. They pivoted by creating a truly fantastic outdoor space as a safe place to train and now the indoor space is equally great. Clean, well equipped, and super friendly! My husband and i have been working weekly with our trainer, Pedro. He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and easily adapts sessions to our needs. He puts up with my grumblings with a big (slightly evil) grin [really, more pull-ups?] and we see weekly progress. He also really, really loves dogs.....Highly recommend both the gym and Pedro.

    Training at the Fit Squad has been remarkable journey so far since I joined in latter part of 2021. I injured myself and also had medical surgery prior to COVID 19 pandemic. I needed to get back in shape, work on techniques, build strength and work on my diet/nutrition among others. Pedro has been my trainer and I am so grateful for that. He is the first trainer I have been working with. Pedro is very knowledgeable, experienced, motivating and keeps me on track. He also shares tips and information regarding my diet/nutrition. I am elated to getting back in shape, learning techniques and building my strength. He is also one of the most amicable individuals. I enjoy working out with Pedro and look forward to next stage of my fitness phase with him. Thanks Pedro and Fit Squad!

    I've been coming here on & off during the pandemic, but I will say it's been great to get in. Jen & Aldo have been super helpful to get me started with things and are always attentive to questions. I've had the chance to work with Thomas for the last while & it's been great. Super supportive trainer that takes my training goals in mind with what we're doing. Super excited to keep going with him and see the progress that lies ahead.

    I currently train with Pedro, he’s an incredible trainer, and extremely well versed in different techniques and lift styles. Regardless of your fitness level, Pedro will be able to design an appropriate program for you that will challenge your body and mind, while taking into account your personal limitations. This gym is extremely organized and clean, with great people, great music, and overall a great vibe. Every person at fit squad has been open and kind, the environment is encouraging, and you’ll always feel welcomed, regardless of your fitness level. So if you want to keep it right and tight, Pedro is your guy, and a Fit Squad is the place.

    Been a member for over a year and haven’t looked back. I’ve learned so much from my training program and have seen amazing progress in my strength. The staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a small gym so you get to see friendly faces on the regular. Love it!

    I’ve been working with Justin at Fit Squad for over a year. He has exceeded all my expectations. I had a disc injury five years prior, and most healthcare professionals I saw said I would never be able to lift again. I have been regularly lifting and progressing for the last year, and am astonished at where I’m at now. Justin has been an attentive trainer, pushing me to train hard, but also slowing things down when needed. He’s adjusted my workouts to accommodate for injuries that pop up, and included plyometrics to help me improve in volleyball. He’s also guided my nutrition and aided me in weight loss for my wedding. The Fit Squad facility is great as well. All the trainers are friendly and kind, and the general atmosphere of the gym is respectful, supportive, and trusting (I’ve left my AirPods there for days by accident, and when I returned, someone just put them on the main counter).

Jordan is not just a trainer; he's a motivator, a mentor, and a true fitness expert.     Started working with Romain beginning of this year. I was looking to improve my strength, conditioning and overall form. Immediately I knew that Romain was the right fit for me as he is professional, patient and encouraging. Week after week I see myself getting stronger through the amount of weight my body is able to handle. Romain is able to provide a program that never gets old as workouts are changed up, making them interesting as well as challenging.

    It’s been a blast training with Jordan at fit squad. He is very professional with a focus on the technicals. He pays close attention to your postures to make sure you are doing everything properly. I was able to achieve my goals training with Jordan and it’s always so nice to walk in to the gym with his great smiles!

    I joined Fit Squad about 2ish months ago and had been hesitant to join ANY gym previously - especially in King West area because I imagined it would be mega bro-y and douchey. Fit Squad is neither. The rooftop gym during pandemic summer 2021 was amazing, and the regular facilities on Peter are awesome. Mostly what I appreciate is that the gym is very well managed with a team of owners who are clearly devoted to their craft and, in my experience, have been super open to feedback and adaptable to continuously improve the gym/workout experience. The trainers all seem great, but I gotta shout-out Julian who knows when to push me and when to ease up. Highly recommend!

    I have been an NCAA Division 1 Athlete and I have had my fair share of strength and conditioning coaching. This team and organization has all the correct fundamentals of what it means to be functionally fit and love your body. They will teach you everything you need to know from beginners to advance. Ive never stepped into an environment like this that truly excites me for my potential to grow. Its worth every dime.

    I've had the pleasure of training with FitSquad for over a year now and it's been a blessing in improving my lifestyle and overall health. Recently I've been taking part in their classes - specifically Athletic X on Saturdays - which is run by Sathish. The class is catered to improving strength, mobility, explosiveness and challenges me to test my limits. As an athlete, the class is the perfect compliment to my regular workout routine and allows me to become a better version of myself. Sathish is a competent and charismatic instructor who makes the class fun and enjoyable, while creating a great social environment to meet like-minded individuals. I highly recommend looking into their programs and services and reaching out to their friendly personal trainers for more information.

    For the longest time, I struggled to find a professional, knowledgeable and advanced facility to reach my goals. The second I stepped into Fit Squad, I knew it was different than any other training facility! The facility itself is very well maintained and clean. I have been training with Thomas and I always look forward to our training sessions! Thomas is motivating, knowledgeable, caring and hilarious. He knows how to push me while making the training enjoyable. He always gives helpful tips (super helpful especially on my solo days) and his knowledge helps me understand the purpose of each workout. Finding a facility that fit my schedule was not easy, but Thomas has been super accommodating and understanding. I am so happy I found a place like Fitsquad - the entire team is super welcoming, inspiring and friendly. It makes my training a lot more enjoyable! Everyone’s energy is always great, and that plays a huge part in keeping me motivated. You could feel that the fit squad team truly loves what they do. So glad I found a place like this!

    Amazing community, and extremely knowledgeable trainers. I have been working out with Thomas for a few months now. He is fantastic. Every week is a new routine for a full body workout. He changes things up and keeps you on your toes. He pays attention to you and makes sure you’re engaging the right muscles for each exercise. I look forward to every class, and feel the burn from each the following day. Highly recommend this place and Thomas. He is a fitness model, and extremely knowledgeable on all fronts when it comes to working out.

    Fit Squad has it all. Great coaches, immaculate facility, group training, personal training and a fantastic location. The coaches are well educated and know how to create the optimal environment for performance in a friendly non-intimidating way. The team at Fit Squad emphasize proper technique to reduce injury. They have classes for beginners that educate you on how to lift with proper technique. If you already have extensive experience training, I would recommend their hybrid and kettlebell classes. No matter what your training background is, Fit Squad has your back.

    I came to FitSquad in 2020 unable to lift anything above my head due to two year old shoulder injury that no one was able to treat, and Sathish had me pressing over thirty pounds in just a few months. He's stuck with me through a string of injuries and many flare ups of my chronic illness, always finding the best routine to help me through it and never giving up. FitSquad has the most welcoming atmosphere in all of Toronto and is full of genuinely good people who just want to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be!

    After attending an outdoor class with Sathish in July 2021 I just had this inner knowing that this is the guy who can help me out of my covid work out rut. Training with Sathish has been so much more than I could have hoped for. First, he's such a treat to be around, he's funny and easy to talk to and approachable. Second, he does such a great job translating strength training science and research into layman's terms for us to understand, I always feel like I'm learning so much in our sessions. Lastly, the confidence he has helped build in me I am so grateful for. To now know what I'm doing in the gym, how to have proper form, how to breathe properly, what to change in my nutrition... it's been a year of such growth and achieving PBs in the gym I would never thought as possible for myself. I am so thankful he was able to take me on as a client when I was looking and I'm excited to see all the progress that is to come by working together!

    I have had a great experience with FitSquad. I was nervous about beginning training, but my coach, Thomas, designed a great program fit for me that is both challenging and rewarding. It really has made me more active. The gym is clean and spacious, and the environment is super friendly and encouraging. Totally recommend!

    Highly recommend Julian at Fitsquad for personal training! I have been training with him for over 3 months and have a great progress! He is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He motivates me a lot and really pushes me from someone who has not been to a gym for years to exercise 5 times a week. He understands and designed workouts that specifically aligned with my fitness progress and goals. Amazing trainer!!

    The entire fit squad team does such a great job of tailoring their group and personal training programs to accommodate all skill levels, with a focus on achieving great form and functionality according to what works for your body and goals. Furthermore, the team does an excellent job of building an open supportive community and creating a space in which you always feel welcome. I would classify myself as somewhat of a beginner when it comes to strength training. I am currently training with Romain who is extremely patient and knowledgeable and I appreciate the technical focus he puts on achieving the right form starting with the right warm-ups! Romain has helped me learn and become comfortable with Turkish get-ups, kettlebells swings, using a host of different equipment, and customizing my program based on my likes and what my body responds to. Moreover, he does a great job on safely pushing me out of my comfort zone to try differ weights, exercises and routines.

    I thought I was a fairly fit person, now thanks to Romain I'm the fittest I've been and significantly stronger. My workouts are so well tailored to my goals, he is so encouraging and very knowledgeable. I'm in medicine and the dude really knows his stuff. I've given up before because I thought I had a bad wrist and knee, turns out I don't, just needed my form corrected. I can easily say in the matter of 3 months I've actually achieved most my fitness goals, and no pain anywhere. The whole gym set up is excellent and fit squad team members are all wonderful, supportive and a really good time. That being said I'm very pumped to see what gains are to come working with him. Oh and he is excellent conversationalist 😁 Thanks Romain!!!

    I worked with Pedro while I was struggling through two injuries during the pandemic. He made a plan to help me progress past them as well as taking into consideration what my physio had me doing (my physio also noticed great improvements while I working with Pedro).I couldn’t be happier with the progress I made in the last year. I also loved the FitSquad open gym sessions and classes that I’ve been too!

    I joined Fit Squad and started training with Justin 10 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made for my health and fitness. Anytime I have a question, Justin not only provides a knowledgeable answer, but also gets at the why and has given me so much additional insight into my goals.The whole team is absolutely amazing, and I've particularly enjoyed learning so much about lifting and training in a fun and supportive environment. If you're looking for someone to focus on and find training that works for you and your needs, you're in the right place. I cannot recommend Justin enough!
