This is my go to barber in the city. Lots of stylist available and you can't beat the decor.I found this place about two years ago, and haven't gone anywhere else to get a haircut since. You can have drink there while having your hair cut. Trek has been cutting and styling my hair and beard for the past the last 2 years and I don't think I would go anywhere else. The Price is not cheap but reasonable for all the amazing service that they provided. Highly recommend this shop.

Amanda was really careful with the scissors. She was precise in her work and handled my hairs professionally. About the shop - I would like to go when there is live music. The shop has a bar. Parking - Street Parking

I go here all the time for haircuts. It is my favorite because the staff are nice and friendly, I can have a drink when I get my haircut, and I just love the vibe of the place. A big plus was bringing my father, who is in his 90s and in a wheelchair, to the shop twice. They were accommodating both times and loved to hear his stories about when he was a hairdresser in the 1960s. While Ken is the one who usually cuts my hair, I have also had excellent service from Paula, Jimmy and Jay. Absolutely love that this place exists.

Love this spot. I probably got 15-20 haircuts here in a row. Great, non pretentious energy and you can book in advance online. Never had a back experience sitting with a handful of different barbers. Jay was a recent favourite who always nailed it.

I've had my hair cut and done here for years. I exclusively see Paula personally and every appointment is a super clean cut, great shave, and good conversation. One of the easiest recommendations ever. The vibe of the shop may not be for everyone (super man cave-y) but it's a great one with great service, simple as that.

Love this place. Paula does an awesome job and that fact I can bring my pup, makes life easier on those busier days.

Your quintessential neighbourhood barber, with some extra perks! The people here take the time to get to know their clients and their preferences. Laid back and chill vibe and the skill level can't be beat!

This place is amazing! Great people! One of the few places that does kids cuts and actually makes your kid look good! I took my 3 year old and Jay Woody was so great with him. I got to have a beer, the whole experience and atmosphere was awesome. I had already been here before for beers and some live music, so knew I liked it. But the way they all handled bringing my kid in was above and beyond!

This business is awful. Rude and inappropriate employees. When I called tonight, they asked what I was wearing ??? Gross. Employees are too concerned with smoking outside excessively and causing extreme late noise noise for neighbours after hours. Employees are constantly outside smoking cigarettes (against bylaws and right outside residential entrances),that make you gag trying to walk by, let alone walk in. The smell is overwhelming. It was hard to overcome trying to go in for service. The staff are unprofessional and charge way too much for an underwhelming haircut. My partner refused to come back after one visit and was not impressed. Several times noise complaints have been issued and they seem more concerned about being a party house than a contributing business in this neighbourhood.

4.5 Stars. Good aesthetic and prices for a Toronto Barber shop, great location and barbers. Arguably the best thing about this place is the hours, they are open far later than most barbers, making it easier to get an appointment on shorter notice.

Great daytime barber Shope and a wicked cool late night music venue. Love the cute bartender 😍

Lots of great talent in this shop. The folks know how to leave you feeling and looking your best. Doesn’t hurt that the bar is always open, too!

I was just wandering about and saw a barber shop, and a bar, and a man playing a guitar- so I went inside. the musician that was playing was great- and the bartender made the best Trinidad sour I've ever had. If you are in the junction and happen to be around, it's worth checking this place out to see what's going round

I had such a great experience with Paula. She was amazing, attentive, made me feel like a valued client. I felt at ease in her chair, the result was fantastic I have found a new barber.

I ADORE this place! The prices are on point, the barbers are TOP NOTCH and the whole environment is just the sort of place you would want to be to get your hair cut. I couldn't ask for a better barber than Paula. She has been nothing short of amazing with myself (giving me awesome hair tattoos and is just a beautiful soul and super-cool lady); my three-year-old-son. She always goes above and beyond to give him THE BEST experience, wonderful conversation and the COOLEST haircuts. He genuinely LOVES getting his haircut and often leaves to ask if we can go for another haircut immediately...lol; and my husband, who is currently on pause for haircuts due to losing all his hair in chemo - but even in this situation, Paula made sure we knew she would be there for anything we need. LOVE LOVE LOVE Rod, Gun and Barber. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!! THANK YOU!!!! XO

Amazing barbershop! The decor is pure man cave with walls covered in fish and deer, musical instruments, fishing rods, hunting rifles, and landscape paintings. They have a bar in the back, so you can grab a drink while you wait. Jay got me looking sharp for my wedding. The other barbers are extremely friendly and joke around with each other. I would highly recommend checking them out. I'm sure you would become a regular client.

Awesome vibe, awesome people! I Was in town for a wedding and the men in the bridal party were booked for cuts, we were INCREDIBLY behind and showed up super late but these amazing people got us in chairs despite that. The conversation was great with my barber (Sean I think) and the cut was fantastic. If I'm ever in Toronto again in need of a snip, these guys are where my money is going!

I'm brand new to the neighbourhood and was in desperate need of a cut (it had been six months since my last cut) so I booked an appointment with Sean. I told him to have at it and see what he does with it and I have to say he was not only incredibly knowledgeable about his craft, but he was very careful to explain why he was doing specific things. Well worth the money I spent. Affordable, amazing tunes to listen to (we were singing some Motown together the entire time), and just an overall great vibe in the atmosphere. For friendly service and a guaranteed great end result, check this place out!!

Can’t say enough about Junction Jay O’Hooligan. It’s always a chill and pleasant cut. I’m always greatly satisfied with the result. To top it off it is really reasonably priced during these inflationary times.

Can't speak for the haircutting as we were there late at night to enjoy the live music, but it a nice cozy space for live music.

My Mr. Will Only get his haircut here. Not only have the brought back k the traditional artwork of barbering, but each technician has a very unique personality, they are all so professional and super-friendly!! The decor & ambiance is laid-back chill. No hang-ups.Ever. They are also licensed to serve beer/spirits too. Pre-Covid -they would have live bands/entertainment on Friday nights....I believe they have restarted it. DEF a great night out -esp not ur typical place to go on a Friday night Fellas, if U haven't already, You MUST try getting a hot towel shave and a haircut herr!! You will never go back to ordinary😉

Solid service, especially the bartending. Could spend hours in here. Much to discover and discuss at this fixture in the Junction.

I got the worst haircut I had in the last 5 years, I can’t remember the name of the guy who cut my hair but when I went back to ask for a refund, since the haircut he gave me literally looked horrible and nothing like what I asked for, he flat out told me he wouldn’t but offered to give me a new one (not for free) with an attitude and bad manners, on top of it all! He even told me “I’m telling you it’s good and I’m not arguing with you” and just walked off in that moment, but did came back to mockingly say “I’m reeeally sorry you didn’t like the cut, bro”. The owner was there but he wasn’t very helpful, based on everyone’s reactions I am guessing they are related. I showed everyone there the same photo of what I wanted and everyone hesitantly just said it “kinda did look alike, just a bit shorter in some areas”. To give you an image, It was so bad that when I got back home my sister GASPED and said I would be better off simply shaving it all off at this point cuz it looked as if a donkey bit off chunks of hair, it was THAT bad! At the end, the owner agreed to ask another barber to fix my hair. I won’t be going back there, worst experience ever, worst customer service! The guy seemed kind of new at it, the issue could’ve easily been avoided had he admitted he didn’t know how to do it and leave someone else to it. The only salvageable thing from this experience was the second barber, who was very nice and apologized for the whole thing, and did shave it all off.

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
