We celebrated our wedding here with an amazing photo shoot. The staff were amazing and gracious through the entire process. We were in no way rushed and got to have an amazing experience with Beautiful photos by Photography By Elvira. We couldn't have asked for a better day or a better group of people to work with! The history in this building is Mind-blowing and the architecture is simple and classic. So great, not to mention has an incredible Gallery and community hub attached. Definitely a light in Brampton and great use of this wonderful Landmark.

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the Peel Art Gallery. During my visit, I had the opportunity to explore various exhibits, including a jail and other intriguing displays. The gallery's serene atmosphere contributed to the overall pleasant experience. While the gallery may not offer an extensive range of exploration, I found every aspect to be of high quality. It was particularly exciting to visit during Sikh Heritage Month, as the gallery showcased exceptional paintings that added a profound cultural dimension.

Interesting exhibits about the old Peel County Jail and residential schools. The latter cannot be photographed because photography might upset visiting survivors.

Good place to go and learn about art and the court and jail in old Brampton. There are few parking for visitors inside the art complex. The art gallery entrance is not at all expensive and it is free of you have canoo app. This place is divided to some 3-4 building. There are some portion where some work was ongoing. We went on Sunday afternoon and it was relatively free. First building where we went had 2 art shows going on. It is good for intellectuals who enjoy art. So, I was more impressed not by this part but other areas. They have preserved an old court room. You need to take the guided tour of the old court. The guide explained really well and view takes you right into the past. The architecture is also worth noting. It seems they rent this place for movie shooting and other events too. In that same building there is a ball room type room where there is a high ceiling too. The other building houses an old jail. They have an audio presentation of the person who spent time in solitary confinement too. On the entrance to the jail there is also a display of the atrocities that the indigenous kids of Canada had to undergo in the so called residential school. It was a reminder of the horrible past of Canada and the sufferings of those innocent kids. It really made me think about the privilege that we are enjoying compared to these kids. They also have some painting they do on the outside wall and the locality in which this place is situated has a beautiful park too.

If you are into knowing about history then you will like this place, otherwise you don’t have much to see here. Exhibition has few items to see. There is a old jail in here with 3 cells which shows the rooms where prisoners were kept during 80’s It is good for school kids to roam around in place. I don’t recommend much to couples as you might get bored.

I went to the PAMA Inkquisitive exhibition last night. We had previously attended PAMA every year for Sikh Heritage Month. We were lucky enough to get into the venue last night for a scheduled second showing. Inkquisitive was extremely gracious with his time and words, and so exceptionally talented. His art work has such profound meaning behind it. He truly lives and breathes his art. Thank you to the Sikh Heritage Month committee for funding the entire months exhibitions and events. It was a fabulous event!

I loved this. I had no idea there was such a gem in Brampton. Definitely a really great place to both adults and kids, as there are a lot of. activities and spaces dedicated to them. It's also very educational and promotes togetherness and diversity. For adults, there's the art gallery and a room where you can look up old records related to the city. I would definitely come again.

Very nice quaint representation for a museum in Brampton. Informative guides and well organized and laid out although not much choice over 3 buildings. Jail is my favourite part. And the court room. Rotating exhibits. Lots to do and see. Archives are another gem. Nice to get a little nostalgic about how Region of Peel used to be.

I always enjoy my time there with the kids. The prices are perfect and activities are fun and easy for you to get into as an adult with the kids. The Art activity was creating your own quilt patch. They were codes/directions for slaves using the underground railroad- we all made our own and coloured them. We went for the black history month exhibit, the photo gallery was really amazing and the stories with the photos were moving. We visited on Saturday, had we gone on Sunday we would have been able to gain free entry, free refreshments and enjoyed guest speakers...my girlfriend got the days confused, nonetheless it was a day well spent.

Tons of fun to explore. We used the free parking under city hall. Walked over and enjoyed downtown Brampton after our visit. The staff at PAMA were outstanding! Using a stroller inside was no issue. Lots of space and large elevators.

We went for a random nightcap and ended up having a blast. The staff is very knowledgeable and the facility is extremely well kept. We ended up staying for 3 hours and have been back a few more times since our visit. I would definitely recommend going to the gallery if you're looking for a good activity for a group of people or just a casual time out. The exhibits have also been frequently updated!

Nice little museum and art gallery. It's actually free at the moment because parts of the museum are closed for renovations. The courthouse tour was good.

Art gallery was underwhelming, the selection of art was mediocre and very limited. The old court house was great, and the tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. The museum side was good too, with the old jail cells. Doesn't take too long to cover the location. Generally liked everything except the gallery, just looks like they're under utilizing it.

It was an interesting experience. We saw local exhibits with dirt paintings and other random collections from local artists. A whole section was dedicated to sikh heritage. I hope they also showcase other religions in the future. The women in stem exhibit was cool. Bottom floor of gallery has dedication to natives and that is nice. The jail is also there which has some interesting facts and features. We didn't get to see courthouse as select days only to visit so that was a bummer and I didn't see it online through pama site.

The venue and the staff are great. Specifically, Lori-Ann, many thanks for answering all my questions. This location was perfect for our purpose and staff catered to everything we asked for. They gave us a wonderful tour of the well-kept museum. The kids in our event had a blast. Thank you!
