My friend who’s a vegan brought me here as she has been ranting and raving about how good this place is for the longest time. I am not a vegetarian nor am I vegan. I very much cannot eat a meal without meat... until I came to this place! We ordered: loaded fries/fries supreme Chicken fingers Big Mac *** Least fav was the Big Mac- too messy and fell apart*** If she would have brought these to me and told me nothing- I would have assumed it was just regular meat. I would for sure come back here and eat food. Easily a 5 star rating.

I had the famous burger and famous style fries and they were amazing! I took advantage of a promo and got the burger for free by ordering using Odd Burger’s new app! The burger was absolutely HUGE and the fries were so tasty. As a vegetarian this place is so satisfying because you can get all the fast food favourites you miss and crave. I’ve had the ChickUn from this location as well and it is incredible. I will definitely be coming back again and again because I am addicted to the whole menu.

We got the sticky chickun and preposterous burger. Preposterous wasnt what I expected in terms of its size since it was shown differently on the menu ( bigger patty), however both sticky chickun and the preposterous burger were delicious, but i recommend sticky one more as it has more flavour and saucy. The fries were really delicious but for the price we paid, we could have had more.

Amazing burgers, tots and onion rings! The chickun tenders were okay, and the soft serve tasted too much like aqua faba. Bit disappointed in the latter, but I’d come back for the burgers!

I really loved this place, I liked all the food that I tried during my first visit. I ordered the twin tacos which were mouthwatering and also the Crispy ChickUn Hamburger combo, the French fries were honestly amazing. I also really liked the concept of the store and how they implement technology with the screen menu and the self checkout machines. The only reason why I am not giving 5 starts is because my drink from the soda machine had no flavor at all and looked clear as if it was diluted with water. Also the straws are in the counter and every time someone takes a straw ends up touching many straws which are not individually wrapped and it’s a bit gross. Nevertheless, I loved this place, the best part of all is that everything on the menu is vegan 🌱. I can’t wait to be back to try new items on the menu and to visit their other locations as well.

Really good spot for vegan fast food! Their wingalings remind me more of nuggets than wings, but they’re still good! Just ask for extra sauce because I found them on the drier side. Their onion rings are also nice and thick!

First time, wasn't sure what to expect. Some of these places are hot or miss. This was a HIT! I grabbed a famous burger and some tater tots poutine. Got back to work and opened it up. It smelled fantastic, looked incredible.. Like a good stylist had prepared it. Not only that it smelled and tasted like a better version of big Mac. The tater tots poutine did not look as good.. But it certainly had the flavor I was looking for. Cooked perfectly crispy outside soft inside. Delicious. Vegan or not, these dishes were great

Curious about the offerings of Odd Burger… Strawberry milkshake was the best thing…creamy and could taste real strawberry! The Crispy ChickUn was dry even with extra mayo and didn’t have much flavour. The ingredients need more innovative plant based flavour. Famous style fries were loaded with toppings and sauce, heavy enough to eat on their own though. The fries itself were a nice thick cut. Price seemed a bit much…$23 with taxes for a burger, upgraded fries and a milkshake. The ingredients require more plant based innovation and flavour beyond soy snd seitan. Just because it’s labeled “vegan” doesn’t mean it’s healthier by any means. Surprised by the high ratings of this spot but can see how it may appeal to those who crave vegan versions of popular meat fast food items or those who once ate meat and now choose vegan. The location was clean and the guy serving was very nice. UPDATE: decided to give another try and tried the Famous Burger because it was a free offer with downloading the app…it redeemed my experience! Loved the chickpea patty because it was made of a bean instead of soy, the special sauce was flavourful and the toppings of pickles, onions and lettuce added a crunch. it was a very hearty satisfying burger!

Food was awesome and large serving sizes. I got the Famous burger which tastes just like a Big Mac. The wing a lings were good also, best vegan nuggets I've had. Highly recommend.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. I had high hopes for it. The burger tasted ok but was kinda cold. The onion ring coating tasted like KFC (not necessarily a bad thing). The strawberry shake was delicious. Metal music isn't my thing so the screaming background wasn't a great atmosphere for me. I may try it again...I may not.

I had the Korean sesame Chick-un Wings combo and vegan Soft Serve 😍😍. It's really good! Being a meat-lover in the past, Chicken Wings was one of my favorite foods but I can't eat it anymore but Thank God for Odd Burger!

Grear burger! I had the Famous. Incredible! Only downside for me is the price difference from the burger itself at 8.79 to nearly 15 as a combo before tax. 6 bucks for fries and a small pop is just a bit too much.

Guys you can't just jam a bunch of saucy sandwiches and poutines into a bag sideways. It made a huge mess and the poor uber drivers carrier bag got sauced badly. Take more pride in your work.

Excellent food Excellent customer service Excellent setting . The colour theme and vibe was fun inviting calm and universally appropriate. I want to the location at college , downtown Toronto. I went for the first time last night. The food was off the chain ESPECIALLY the soft ice cream !! I’m not trying to be nice I’m not getting any kind of discount I’m not being paid or coerced in saying this ! The food was actually very very very very good. Yes… yes yes yes …it’s not whole food plant based, it is mostly processed “meats”, but hey it’s the best vegan fast food restaurant I’ve been to all my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!….. Last! The fries are huge and flavourful with a wonderful crush !!!!!! And I think it is fairly priced for vegan food.

Ordered the Sticky ChickUn burger and the Preposterous Burger and they were delicious! Honestly couldn’t find a bad word to say about the meal, as the price out rivalled many other vegan establishments and the taste and portions sizes were adequate. Definitely going to go back to try other options 😀

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, or reviews in general, especially for dedicated vegan restaurants, but I feel the need to share my experience. Had high hopes as I went to the one in Oakville recently and it was really delicious with great service. I got the same burger at this location and it was nowhere near as good. The center of the burger was undercooked and rubbery. Chocolate milkshake tasted like it had 3x the amount of chocolate flavour it needed. The restaurant interior is really dirty and needs a sincere deep clean. Will not be going back here that’s for sure unless things change drastically.

One staff in particular was so friendly and super helpful, I think her name was Samantha???? (sorry if it's not) When I am back in the city I will definitely try to come back!

5 stars. If I could add more I would. I drive all the way from Brampton just for your amazing food. As an ex-meat eater, I still crave specific foods and when I discovered your restaurant I was like a kid on Xmas morning. The Buffalo Chickun burger is to die for. And full respect for being so inclusive with who you hire. Makes me like your company even more 👏

Kids wanted a junk/fast food day and we drove for a long time to get to this location. Amongst the burgers, Mac n Cheeze, Wingalings, Famous and Supreme Fries and a breakfast Faconator our order was huge. The food did not travel well. All the burgers and other items put in two large bags. Upon reaching home found some of the burgers were put or turned sideways. That resulted in the sauces, Cheeze and toppings slide out and made a mess while eating. The burgers - Famous, Buffalo ChickUN, Cordon Bleu were good other than the messy and sauces falling apart. The Taco Supreme Mac N Cheeze was OK. Taco meat was not up to par as it could have used some more TexMex flavours. The fries Supreme had same flavour as the MacNCheeze. The famous Fries also disappointed mainly because of Bacun. The Wingalings were amazing. It was hard to decide first which were better Korean or Hot Buffalo. After much debate among the family the Korean was the winner even though family prefers something spicy.

Really fun concept and great food. Went with a big group of friends and even though only 1 person was vegan, everyone really enjoyed it and we tried lots of the dishes. Food was delicious and well made, lots of customizable options, and the experience is pretty fun too and they have these cool ordering kiosks that make you feel like you’re in a fast food restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a burger, whether you’re vegan or not.

I ordered food for a large group twice - the first time the order didn't make it to me because the paper bag broke and the order spilled. The second time the order arrived but the drinks were half spilled making the paper bag break once again but I managed to get it inside without losing the contents. The food was cold but edible and we enjoyed it as best we could but please package orders more carefully so this doesn't happen.

  • 5/5 Steven C. 9 months ago on Google
Everything is so delicious. Love how customizable the menu is, which gives you the ability to add and remove items and create something new. I always get the faconator sandwich when I order a meal - it's just so delicious with the vegan eggy taste, sweet sauce and juicy, crunchy, and vegan meaty taste. The vegan milkshakes are a great refreshing treat too during these summer hot days!

This place is amazing! Everything is sooo delicious, specially the famous burger, the honey mustard sauce and the strawberry milkshake. Also manager Sam and her staff are always super kind and helpful ❤️ I come back or order literally at any opportunity I have. Definitely my favourite vegan fast food in Toronto

I have been to this spot a couple of times and it has always been so good! As someone who has a hard time with cheese and dairy, this place is like heaven. No more "no cheese with that please". From Supreme fries, to vegan milkshakes, to meatless wings, this place will have your mouth watering and wanting more!

I was super excited to try out Globally Local for the first time. This place really hits the spot for vegan comfort/fast food! I ordered the Crispy ChickUn Combo. The fillet was crispy and had a nice little kick to it, and the fries were delicious! I'm definitely coming back to try out other menu items. Yum!

Staff if always super nice and greets you as soon as you walk in and the food is AWESOME! I was actually blown away and super impressed that they make all of their sauces, cheezes, and proteins in house. Highly recommend the gyro and fries supreme! Also, kid you not, the BEST vegan soft serve not just in the city, but that I've ever had. This is a chain restaurant that's actually worth going to.

This place is one of my favorites in town. Affordable, vegan, unique, tasty. My top menu items: Preposterous burger Pulled jack Gyro I'm really not a fan of their BacUn bits, so I recommend avoiding the Caesar, but the rest of the food is so good that it's still 5 stars for me.

One of the best vegan restaurants in the city. All of their options are so good. I’ve tried a good chunk of their menu and have loved basically every item. My personal favourite is their Big Mac style burger. Try it out and I promise you won’t be disappointed. If you are vegan or even not vegan but a little curious, please go here and try this place out

  • 3/5 Alexis W. 9 months ago on Google
I was really excited to try out this restaurant because it basically mimics McDonald meals I enjoyed before becoming vegan. Unfortunately my experience didn't live up to the hype. I commend the restaurant for veganizing their menu to cater to a fast food niche that is currently not being satisfied by other vegan restaurants but feel like they fall short in some areas. First although they do not use highly processed patties from vegan companies like beyond meat their patties lack flavour and seasoning taste and completely bland. The texture of their patties is also not up to par with regular patties which would be an acceptable downside if their patties were thoroughly seasoned. The Big Mac flavour was on point so this was a huge disappointment that the actual patties lacked flavour. To be fair, I did not try their chickpea patties so I cannot comment on the flavour or texture of them at all. I was also hesitant to try their wraps and other menu items because of the lack of flavour I experienced trying their chicken and Big Mac burgers so I cannot comment on the taste of these items. I also think that their drink sizes can be bigger as well as their milkshake sizes given the price. Their desserts were delicious as well as their fries supreme and tacos. Their fries on its own however could use some salt. I'm hoping they will make the effort to add flavour to their non chickpea patties so that this restaurant can continue to thrive.

Oh my - vegan fast food pretty much captures it all. We enjoyed plays on the "Big Mac", "Baconator" as well as breakfast sandwich, onion rings, fries and shakes. All food was delicious and filling.

  • 4/5 Bryna W. 2 years ago on Google
Love you guys but you literally always mess up our door dash order. Either something is missing or it’s just wrong. For example we just ordered food and I ordered a maple crunch combo with hash browns and an apple juice - no hash browns and the drink is an orange soda. Does doordash not communicate orders properly to you because it’s always wrong, every time, without fail.

So delicious! I've been a veggie for almost 15 years. The famous burger was such a treat. The best fast food vegan burger I've ever tried! I ordered delivery too and it was just as tasty. I will try The Famous sauce on-the-side next time, because it was deliciously saucy when it arrived lol! Thank-you SO much for having a place that is vegan and DELICIOUS. I can't wait to try other items on the menu! <3

  • 4/5 Chris C. 3 years ago on Google
Great vegan "fast food"/ comfort food selection. Gyro is spectacular as are the fries. If the onions on the famous fries were caramelized, that would be a 1000% improvement. The orange creamsicle could also use a little extra orange ooomph. All in all a tasty experience for vegans and non vegans.

They really need to serve the fountain properly for takeout!! They also need to have proper exhaust the smell of grill and all gets into the clothes which does not smell good..!!

Fast food tasty and super tasty. Unfortunately as fast food goes it’s equally unhealthy, deep fried and high in sodium. But then sometimes we get those cravings which only carbs can fill. Inexpensive and delicious food Too much of a temptation for me, so once is enough. Great place for vegan fast food. The ranch dressing was excellent

Best vegan burger I’ve ever had. Came here and got the Big Mac with smash patty, as well as chicken wings in Buffalo sauce. The burger was so tasty and a large portion. The wings were drenched in sauce it was perfect! Best vegan wings I’ve ever had. Was so full and satisfied from my meal. The place was also clean and the worker was very nice. Will be coming back. My new favourite food.

I've been coming here since they first opened, and it is definitely a vegan fast food heaven. Everything tastes delicious and is freshly prepared. I especially love the chik'n strips and burgers. Staff are always friendly. You purchase your order through the touch screen machine, and use your card when it prompt you. Very easy! (And introvert-friendly!) Your receipt prints out with your order number at the top. The staff will call out your number when your food is ready. As of this writing, dine-in is available. Cash is NOT accepted. Bring your debit or credit card or use an app to order ahead of time.

super cute vibes in this place! i loved the pink theme, very pleasant eat in atmosphere. i noticed the location was very clean, which was nice to see. i got the preposterous burger and the faconator. both really good. the burger fell apart a bit but the flavour hit. i preferred the breakfast sandwich overall, as it’s something i haven’t ate in a while since being a vegan and this one took me back to the days. i had a sip of the chocolate shake which was really thick and chocolatey, as well as the chia french toast. overall, amazing vibe and great dishes that are that very mcdonald’s, fast food feel! $37 for faconator, preposterous, chia french toast, a soft drink, milkshake, and fries,

I had the famous burger and it tasted just like a Big Mac Burger. I really enjoyed this meal. If I have the urge for fast food again I will get this again.

  • 5/5 Mark Y. 2 years ago on Google
The place is pretty good for vegan! Doesn't come close to Doomies obviously, like no fried chicken or wings, mainly sandwiches but it was decent for veganism. The place gives you McDonald's vibes. Got the wings, which are tasteless in and of themselves but covered with sauce so it's alright. Korean sesame sauce is too sweet. Also the pulled pork, this one was very good with awesome mayo but it was a tiny portion for 10 bucks. I'd go again until I find a replacement for Doomies

This review is long overdue. We went to Odd Burger 3 days in a row in September, and we tried almost everything on the menu. The food was tasty and was prepped quickly. Good options for vegan fast food that includes breakfast sandwiches, burgers and shakes. The one major letdown for us was inconsistency. On each of the 3 days we went in, it happened to be a different member of staff who made the food. We liked the Preposterous Burger on day one. It was made well, had good texture and was a pleasant experience. The second day, we got different items to try, but thought we'd split another Preposterous Burger as well. Sadly, that was a mistake. The cook charred the patty to a crisp, making it very uncomfortable to eat. If you intend to try this particular burger, make sure to ask that it not be overcooked or over charred. It makes it extremely crunchy and almost painful to bite down on. Another example of inconsistency was the Chocolate Shake. The first time we had it, it was excellent. The second time, it was much more runny and wasn't like a shake should be. Bear in mind, we ordered and consumed this immediately (at the tables outside the restaurant). The shake did not sit around for 20 minutes. It was that way straight from the counter. The rest of the food was fine. And it's a nice spot for a quick meal. Our favourites include the Faconator, Sausage Maple Crunch and their Chocolate Shake. November now, and we went in again recently because the food is nice, when made correctly. They had free coffee giveaways for patrons, as well as the hardworking delivery drivers who came by, which is a lovely gesture!
