Excellent food...we ordered the Lahori Fish, Beef Sheekh Kababs, Brain Masala (great with rotis) and topped it up with the best Lamb Biryani I have ever had. Every dish was of the highest quality and not a single one was oily like several other places I've been to. Who could leave without dessert...we were disappointed to know they didn't have phirni but the Kulfi and Rasmalai were par excellence!! Keep up the quality...and I'm sure every guest you have will certainly return like us!

The person at the reception was not at all welcoming, either the staff was not trained to be polite or it was the personality trait. We were asked to show our vaccination proof ( which is very much acceptable and we do it all the time) but here the style was impolite and rude. Then on the seating… there was an argument and at last the manageress came and we got the table. ( not of our choice) Then we ordered lamb karahi… which was certainty not good at all. Beef behari kebab… they were just ok with too much of spice. Nan and lasi were ok. Summary… i would not go again there..!!!

Tried their Chicken Karahi with Naan and Chicken briyani. The dish itself was in 3 tissues full of oil, besides the dish did ok taste except for amount of extra oil. Naan were thick, hope they can learn to make a thinner Naan. Briyani was a big disappointment, first of all only less than two leg piece of Chicken and overall quantity was wayy less as compared to price. Briyani had some very small pieces of bones too which was another disappointment. Please avoid briyani at all cost as it was not worth the taste and quality. Compared to price the quality and quantity both lacked, I wouldn't try again.

We went here on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty. The food here was really tasty. We ordered the following: Chicken Karahi (Dark Meat, which is essentially Legs and Thigh) - 9/10 Naan - 10/10 Lassi - 10/10 Lahori Fish - 10/10 Everything was really well made, and serving sizes was decent for 2 people. The food was a bit pricey, but I guess the taste compensated it for us. We'll try the Peshawari Karahi the next time or the BBQ one as they seem more tasty. The staff was polite and their wash rooms were clean as well. It's definitely worth coming again.

I had a delightful dining experience at Karahi Point on Finch Ave. The food was exceptionally flavorful, and the service was friendly and attentive. I especially loved their karahi dishes; the spices were just right. The ambiance was cozy, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. I'll definitely be returning soon!

I was surprised and disappointed in my experience here. I decided to come here even though it was far from me due to the reviews and picked it over other Pakistani restaurants. The food although it looks good is mostly bland and lacks flavour. It didn't taste authentic like the place claims and it is expensive for the small portions you get. The Brain masala is nearly $20 and the whole meal cost me $54 just for 2 dishes and 2 teas and 4 naans. I don't think it's great value for money and the food could be better. Can't comment on the tea because I don't drink chai at all and the Naans were really good if I'm honest. My Mom said the same thing as she was there with me and she has a whole lot more experience with Pakistani food than I do. The place is clean and well kept however.

Placed an order here at 11pm as told on the phone the order would be ready in 30 - 45 min. Got there close to 12. Upon arrival no staff was outside. Upon waiting finally one of the servers came out, asked me the order name. Then proceeded to the back. Waited for her and still the order wasn’t ready. I politely asked her how long and she said her friend is bringing it out. The order was brought out and I paid and left. We got home and the food was extremely cold, stale and not fresh at all. The chicken biryani tasted as if it was 1 week old and warmed up a dozen times. The chicken Karhai was so bad, I couldn’t believe we got it from KP. The chutney was so watery, clearly you can tell how old there food products are all the mint is all the way at the bottom. And on top of that we ordered regular coke, got home and yet another surprise we were given one of them Coke Zero. Everything went straight into the bin, thanks for wasting our hard earned money of $64.38 straight into the garbage. Myself and our family has always raved about KP and the delicious food and all the amazing experiences we’ve had at the Finch location. We figured it’s the same establishment, so we went ahead and placed the order. But not anymore this was the last time. So disappointed with how we were treated here. These types of businesses when they neglect customer service and the quality of the food they eventually lead to closures. Why are you open till 4AM? Cut down with the hours and serve quality food, instead of serving cold, stale and old food. With the one bite we ate, I’m praying we don’t get sick with food posing. Stay away from this location especially. I will be reaching out to public health to look into this location immediately.

Please don’t get me wrong. But the food lacks flavour. The butter chicken tasted like flavoured water. The chicken biryani tasted like fried rice with turmeric. My expectations were for the food to be “rich” in “flavour” but, honestly not sure what the hype is about for this place.

Incredibly delicious karahi. I haven’t had authentic karahi so can’t vouch for it’s authenticity but definitely can vouch for the taste. Full of flavours, rich and fresh. Also tried the fish pakora which was amazing as well. Service was decent and portion size is huge. Bit on the expensive side but the portion size makes up for it.

Restaurant main tag line “Authentic Pakistani Cuisine “ No where near Pakistani Karahi. I checked top 20 five star reviews and it looks like top reviewer never been to Pakistan. If you never tasted Pakistani Karahi then you can give whatever you want. I ordered lamb and chicken Karahi, it is more like dried “korma” sauce. Reviewers and local guides please at least check Pakistani Karahi pictures. Look at the picture and decide your self. Lots of seating but the booths are very Congested.

The place is spacious and has decent ambience..i ordered chicken biryani and seekh kabab..the kabab was good and I liked the presentation of getting it sizzling to the table on a platter... biryani on the other hand lacked flavor and the right punches.. Even though the restaurant was not occupied much still the service was very slow.. A decent experience altogether

Its one the best Karahi Point locations. Been going to it for few years & food quality is consistent. Kudos to the chef & hope Thorncliffe location gets better soon. Lahori fish was very tasty, chicken boneless karahi was perfect so does the butter naan. However, beef sekh was worst & undercooked. I could see red-pink meat. Not a unique taste so please improve it. Great ambience & seating space. Highly recommend if you are craving Pakistani Desi food.

Loved their goat karahi overall. Meat could have been a little more tender, spices and gravy was immaculate. Their yogurt sauce needs to be worked on. Ambience was good. Lahori Chargha was good too. Overall a good experience for desi food lover.

Food: The amount of food selection at this place is amazing. Appetizers- got the chicken kebabs and lahori fish. The fish is a must get! I wasn’t a fan of the kebabs though, have had much better. Main- Got the Goat Karahi and Chicken Karahi. The goat karahi was so so and the chicken karahi was much better. I don’t think it’s the best karahi I’ve ever had but it was good. The naans are really fluffy and I loved it! One thing I didn’t like that they said was famous was the beef bihari boti. Desert- Got the Rasmalai and Kulfi which are both good. Service: Food was actually very quick to come which I appreciate for the kind of food it is. Some of the waiters seemed very busy though so it was hard to get their attention but when ordering; stuff was quick! Drinks: I tried the mango shake and it was GREAT! Highly recommend. Vibe: The interior was really nice and has a family vibe. Value: Spent $35 per person with tax and tip and definitely over ordered so it was worth it!

Place was mostly empty for a weekday lunch time (likely due to covid). Helpful service giving me some good recommendations. The serving I got was a good amount and the food all tasted amazing.

Overall it was an OK experience! even though there was a location in Ajax close to my home but still I decided to drive all the way to the North York location. The 👍 Good Food on time, fresh. Beef seekh kabab was really good. Butter Naans were really good. Karak Chai was very good 👍. The 👎 Bad or very disappointed 😞 Chicken Karahi with Bone...HUH ! I had high expectations, since the name is "Karahi Point" but it wasn't upto the mark. It did not taste bad but very dry, means no gravy for Naan, no tomatoes and no spices. It was more like a chicken curry. Excellent service by our server,"Komal", offered us a complimentary lava cake ice cream 🍦 and played a "Happy birthday 🎂 " Song.

I went to this place for my birthday. The ambience and service both were great. The starter options were really tasty but i didn't feel the Chicken Karahi was worth the hype ... it was little salty for me and less in quantity as per the price. The garlic naan and butter Rotis were really awesome. I would say it's worth a try as compared to other restraunt options.

I dont know if the ratings are real, I ordered paneer tikka masala, this is the worst paneer tikka masala I’ve ever eaten, even the restaurant with poor ratings would make gravy better than this. It tasted as if they just added paneer in tomato puree. Taste wasnt balanced and it was super sweet. Glad I did not order shahi paneer else they would have given me paneer in ketchup. I asked to replace and the lady (Ayushi) asked us to pour the curry from our plates into the container and brought us back the same curry again, no difference in taste! Poor customer service! They said they prepared new curry, but the truth is new curry had same quantity we poured (less).

Can't help but feel this place is making their own fake 5 star reviews. 31 in one day? Doubtful. Got take-out. Samosas, butter chicken, Daal Gosht (lamb), mix veggie curry, plain naan, and plain rice. The samosas were $7.99 but not anywhere near worth that price (see attached photo with loonie for scale). Both the butter chicken and lamb daal were both flavorful, but both had only 3 pieces of meat per order and the lamb was more bone than meat. The mix veggie curry, while again flavorful, had obviously been stewing for way, way too long. The plain rice was good enough and contrary to other reviews, the plain naan was quite good, not rubbery or stale. All in all, it's not anywhere near the 4.6 stars it has (at time of writing), and I'd not recommend it to anyone.

Have been here a couple of times, food is great every time. Restaurant space is big and didn't have an issue getting a table. Had chicken bone-in karahi with butter naan, beef kabab and mango lassi. Half karahi was enough for 2..can be good for 3 too. Last time I was here in Ramadan and they had an iftar buffet which was excellent as well. Good place for a gathering and enjoying great food. Service is always good.

There was no waiting for the table. We went during the week and the ladies were very attentive, gave recommendations and answered our questions. The food was really fresh, spicy but sooo good. The dinner for 2 came up to $101 after tax and we had leftover for doggy bag. The owner, Nadim came by our table and chatted with us. They stopped giving free naan with every dish ordered. Will definitely go back again.

We have ordered paneer tikka masala, full karahi paneer , yellow daal , all types of naan and Ras malai. The karahi paneer was roasted totally. It was not at all tasty but we tell them and they said wait for 15-20 mins to make new. Till then our naans were all chilled up and the dal was ok ok not tasty not bad but 3/5. And also the staff who work there they don’t know the sizes of the platter what they are bringing to us. We have ordered full and we asked what its size. The staff said if you have ordered full then it’s full like seriously. Also the prices are way too high. Why the prices are going up for?? The name only. The fame only ?? Like when you are famous you just make everything expensive. Wow

Karahi Point offers a spacious and inviting dining space with a pleasant ambiance. While the food serving time is around 15-20 minutes, the Chicken Karahi is exceptionally delicious. Don't miss out on the delightful Fried Lahori Fish, Rotis, Chicken Biryani, Chicken tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. Although the cost is a bit high for Chicken Karahi, the overall experience Is good .

We visited this place and loved it. Food was delicious, we took 4 items ( Chicken tikka Biryani, Qeema Biryani, Lamb Biryani & kabab) and salad also they provided sauce with Raita. Qeema biryani was the best then 2nd would be Chicken Tikka Biryani. Environment was calm and hygiene were properly maintained. If anyone wants to visit this I would highly recommend.

Very helpful staff. Helped us with tables arrangements. Served with smile. Suggested portions of food to order as per our number of guests (10), really appreciate that. One suggestion from me, serve Bread immediately with the dishes. Good quality Fish appetizer, main Karachi dishes tasty. Like the place!!!

The food was very good. Outstanding taste. Outstanding service. Very good cooperative and sweet staff. They even give helpful suggestions when ordering. We have been there twice, once it was our daughter's birthday they served us a complimentary surprise cake. I always order their tea. It is really good. I will be visiting here again and again :)

We had such a great dinner at Karahi Point. The food was phenomenal and the ambience was great. We tried lots of things and everything tasted great. I recommend everyone to try this place, I know once you go, you’ll go again many times, and karahi point will be at the top of your list for dine in and catering.

Customer service was awesome. Food was average in quality. Almost all food had tomato/sweet under-taste. Alot of food items were not available on a Saturday night. Had high expectations due to existing reviews but disappointed with value and quality

Came here for the first time with family friends, wow the food was amazing, everything we tried was so delicious. I live pretty far from here but it’s definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend! Also, they take reservations so if you have a gathering this makes it a lot easier.

Exceptional taste, undoubtedly! My order included Chicken Bihari Boti and Chicken Karahi among other dishes, and all of them were simply amazing! I can say that these folks truly live by their motto - "Made with quality, flavoured with passion"! In fact, food at both locations (this one and another on Islington Ave) is simply out of this world! I would definitely keep going back to the restaurant and would highly recommend it! Thank you, Karahi Point!

  • 4/5 Deepender S. 7 months ago on Google
We have tried Karahi point on Islington too. Wanted to visit this location since so long but finally had a chance to try them. Good food and service. The only thing missing was cleanliness. The bread’s bucket was full of mold and dirt. We have tried daal makhani, chicken kabab, roti and drinks. It took them more than 35 min until we get meal on our table. Kababs were full of flavour and juicy, daal makhani was good too and rotis were pretty filling . My suggest for the restaurant would be: Please try to focus more on cleaning. Whatever comes at table should be spot on, So the customers won’t feel gross while eating.

This location has slowly become our regular - starting from the amazing food we discovered and did take out over the pandemic. The dine-in is as great and the staff are always super! Thank you and great job :). The Lahori fried fish and biryani do not disappoint and their accompanying green chutney is perfect!

  • 5/5 Derek Z. 1 year ago on Google
To my tastebuds this is one of the best tasting butter chicken and karahi in town. The karahi is on the dry side though wish there is more sauce left for dipping… Naan is great too when fresh.

  • 2/5 Gajan W. 1 year ago on Google
I usually order from here and everything is real good however the last two times I ordered butter chicken i literally got 4/5 small white meat chicken pieces only and portion is literally half the container with the sauce! That's ridiculous for $15.99. This is simply not acceptable and should be rectified for all customers if that's the case. Everything else tastes good and qty is reasonable except for the butter chicken. Hopefully management sees this and can rectify it and next time I order I can provide better feedback if so.

Must visit! This restaurant is going to set your expectation off a Pakistani restaurant really high 👌 We ordered - Karahi Lamb - Chicken Bihari Boti, - Tadka Daal, - Garlic Naan, - Butter Naan and - Mango Lassi The dishes are portioned generously to share. We shared our order amongst 3 adults and a pre-teen, still we had food leftover which could easily serve another child. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the food was served within a a considerable amount of time. Highly recommended for meeting your Karahi cravings.

Food~9.5 Service~9.3 Ambiance~9.1 Value for Money~9.1 Overall: 9.25 Food which will truly remind you of Pakistan, everything we tried was a treat for our taste buds and service was very good too. Cleanliness was a plus too for a Pakistani restaurant 👍

Excellent food and service. The karahi was on point, the bihari boti was super juicy and tender. The presentation was superb. The only thing I didn’t like was the thumb prints on dinner plates, for which they should take notice and make sure the place and cutlery is neat and clean!

  • 5/5 maria f. 9 months ago on Google
The waitress who served us was super friendly and attentive (Paufna) despite the fact that I made a mistake in the type of meat, she changed it for me without a problem. I will definitely come back to this place, the food is delicious.

We were going to give this place a 4 star but because of our server Yash we are giving it a 5! He was friendly and gave us good suggestions. Would highly recommend the Shahi Paneer and Chicken Pakoras!! Food is delicious, service is excellent, and it’s a nice sit down atmosphere. Will definitely be going again!

We went there today and ordered Lamb karahi. The lamb was absolutely hard and impossible to chew. We kindly asked the waiter whether this is normal. She took the karahi and came back after 5 minutes. Nothing changed. They just added more garnishing on top. Absolute waste of 33$ for a dish.

  • 3/5 Souparno B. 1 year ago on Google
Great kebabs. They were fresh and full of flavour. Karahi is quite spicy and greasy. It’s probably supposed to be that way but it was too much for us to handle. Service was fast and courteous. We heard a lot of recommendations while visiting from BC but it was ok.

The food here is really good especially karahi dishes. However, the waiter was too bad. Food took around 30minutes to bring out even there were only 2 table at that time. I came here at noon, there was only one table, but noone on the front to welcome. We had to come inside the kitchen to say hello because he was in the kitchen.

Friendly staff, and quick service. Food was quite delicious, better than I expected. Ordered the Karachi Chicken and chicken Tikkha, lots of pieces in a gravy, came out sizzling. Their naan is very good compared to other Indian restaurants .
