Even though we stayed here during their renovations, the room was perfect, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and it is located in a decent area for other amenities. We couldn't access the majority of the lobby, or the amenities within the hotel, but everything else was great. They warned us about possible noise during construction hours for renovations, but I didn't hear anything during our stay! Excited to see the result after the renovations are complete!

March 2023 Hotel was under construction. The pictures they used to advertise their hotel is nothing like what you are getting. Ice machine were not working and apparently they were broken for couples of months already. There's no light and we were not even sure the hotel was open. TV is not hooked up. The wires was trapped between the TV mount. That place used to be good in the past. Room was not cleaned. There was tons of flies in March. Customer service was aware of everything. Stay away.

Usually I book Hilton Garden Inn, Monte Carlo Inn or Hampton Inn, but I have been in other nearby hotels too. I live away from the hotel location, so I didn't know the status of the hotel and I made my booking through Expedia website. After the booking I received an email that appologises for the inconvenience that there might be a noise early in the morning as "some rooms were under renovation". That was OK with me, because my booking was for Saturday evening and I didn't expect workers to work on Sundays. When I arrived at the destination after 5:30 PM I saw a building that was looking like a residential building under construction with no signs that it was a hotel and I made a few circles around wondering if I was at the right place. Reading the printed paper on the front door I found I am where I should be and upon entering the hotel I found an old desk as a temporary reception, cardboard covered floors, missing ceiling and walls and construction materials, elevators were dirty and everything was covered with dust. The room was OK, inline with what I would expect from a 3 star hotel and commensurable with my experience with the other hotels mentioned. The amenities were not operational, but I can understand that, with the state of renovations that they are doing. I had a friend that came with me to my room and I was ashamed as it looked as if I had booked some cheap hotel and the prices were inline with the prices of the other nearby quality hotels in the area. On Wednesday, when I did my booking I could have booked hotels that offer way better experience with the same or better price. The receptionist offered to cancel the booking, but it was too late, after 6pm, for me to look for another hotel for the same day. Later I had to step out and came late evening after dinner to find that there are no lights in the parking lot so I had to be very careful to find a parking spot and not damage my car in the construction materials splattered around. Then on the next morning I wanted to speak with the hotel manager about all these issues and no manager was present, as it was the Weekend. On Monday morning I made a call to get in contact with a manager in the hotel, but no manager was available on Monday too, for the whole day. It seems that the front desk service agent was the only one that was running the hotel on Monday.

I stayed here for my mandatory COVID quarantine after returning back from my international trip. The room and washroom were really clean. With two queen beds and a large 65" TV it was quite comfortable for me and my family. The front desk personnel were very friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend the place.

I landed in Toronto from the States on May 7th. I said my prayers before landing in Toronto! I heard you needed to have your hotel booked, or you could have a fine up to $3000! I was at the airport for three hours! They finally decided to help me. They sent me to Edward Village where it was covered. Thank you Jesus for your help, and answering my prayer! The room was very nice. It could have had a chair at the desk in case you wanted to work, or write. They could have had hangers to hang up your coat. I was really impressed with the food! For breakfast I had waffles with strawberries, and blueberries. It also came with ceral, and yogurt. For supper I had roast beef, potatoes, and green beans. Than you Edward Village for helping out in this difficult time! You made my stay memorial one!

Place was rundown, smelt of cigarettes...and they did not warn us of the 7am SATURDAY MORNING CONSTRUCTION START TIME...until we already checked in. It was bulls*it. There were long black hairs in our bed which did not belong to myself or my guest. When we called down for fresh linens the phone did not work, AND to top it all off...the power went out for 30 minutes. Never staying here again.

Please read the reviews before you book. You will get email with we are doing “renovations” in guest rooms. But this is in the worst shape a hotel can be in! Phones doesn’t work! You have to go down to the lobby that is full of dust and strong construction smell; could be new paint or silicon caulking in all areas. Dust and dirt is for sure. Rooms looks decent but could be cleaner and better. Overall it’s way over priced for the shape it’s in. No cleaning staff and you have to get you own towels by going downstairs every time! We have asked several times but gave up eventually! Customer service is Zero!!!! No pool! As it’s under construction!!

the pool was fine but i cannot get over how terrible the cot was during my stay. i had to lie in a straight line so i would not be stabbed with the springs.

I was here for a business training conference held by Don Valley North Toyota. Great first impression! The lobby was great, the couches and interior were designed and placed well. The washroom was pretty clean. The staff were very gentle and friendly. Free parking. The atmosphere was okay. I did not like the uncomfortable seating in the conference room. Sitting on them for 8+ hours is no fun. Very very uncomfortable. Otherwise a great experience.

The Room we stayed is renovated even if one area(closet I believe) is still not completed. So clean and spacious. And we already knew this building was under construction, so we only stayed in the room but we didn't hear any noise until 10 and no bad smell at all.

The hotel is under renovation still, so was lacking in amenities and seems like some of the staff are still getting on track. The rooms and lobby were beautiful and everyone was friendly.

A newly renovated hotel with nice decorations, the staffs are excellent with great customer service skills. It’s conveniently located on Highway 7 besides 404. The hotel is very clean and spotless.

Room renovations are finished the lobby looks really since since the renovation too, there is just some unfinished work on “decorations” but did not see any work being done actively. Was very pleasant overall, nice vibe in the lobby. All the staff working the front desk were extremely nice. Complimentary bottled water and coffee in the lobby.

This was the most economical for us because it was within 1/2 hrs of Pearson Int'l airport. Still quiet enough, being close to a major airport. Unfortunately there was ongoing construction that closed the restaurant among other things. The front desk staff were friendly, approachable and were informative. The rooms were recently renovated and felt very luxurious. It is in the process of being another accommodating Delta Marriot hotel! Hopefully next time I visit it'll be transformed under the new brand name. Well, cheers to a great stay at this location despite the construction. We had a great stay, staff was approachable and very personable. Busy or not the staff acted very professional and accommodating, especially when asking for extra towels. Kudos! We look forward to our next visit to your city!

Overall it's a pretty nice hotel, and I enjoyed my stay. They must have renovated recently cause it looks a lot better than some of the pictures. They did however forget some details in the renovations. Such as a towel rack, or door stopper, or toilet roll holder which would be really helpful to have. The a.c. was a bit loud which is not ideal for light sleepers.

Comfortable room. The hotel is under construction therefore it is difficult to rate the services. Friendly staff.

This has got to be the best hotel i’ve visited in Canada, *in Markham*. The rooms are very nice, the service is okay, and the location is nice aswell! This hotel is right down the road to Highway 407 or the 401, i prefer the 407 by a lot. Anyways, when we were there, the hotel was undergoing renovations, i bet the next time we come back, we will stay at this hotel. It’s in close proximity to our families in canada. Overall, i rate this hotel a 5/5. If i could, i would rate it a 6/5.

I think it is brilliant business strategy by the owners to have kept the hotel running during renovations. I heard no noise during my stay. It was a no-frills enjoyable and quiet experience for me! Thank you! The Receptionist was reassuring too. Thank you!

Renovated rooms are quite good, the building is under construction, restaurant closed and so the stay is also without breakfast! But they gave no hint about breakfast missing during the booking!

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in!!! The washroom was very dirty, was definitely not cleaned prior to us lodging!! The room floor was also dirty! And to think they charged us over $200 per night cos of the surge that evening!! Couldn't wait till morning to check out of the hotel! Wish I can give them zero star! Terrible!!!!!!!

I was in the hotel from May15- May19, the room is very nice and clean. I don't recommend anyone to driver their milk because they don't put it in the refrigerator, when I called this morning to complain, the person who answered the phone didn't care at all. The food is terrible, I don't recommend this place at all.

Staying here now, the newly renovated room is nice. But the floor is dirty with black fluffy stuffs, the room has no hair dryer and the one sent to us is not even working…

Not a special hotel, but if you need to stay there for a day of two the price is reasonable. It is a cozy hotel, but when I stayed there, it was under renovation and everything looked messy and dirty.
