Staying nearby St. Micheal's Cathedral Basilica is an honour and my living room is facing directly is blessing. This is a beautiful gothic-style cathedral. Have a look at inside, it's so gorgeous and stunning beautiful from outside and inside. Always welcoming but check with their schedule masses. Never get enough to admiring around....the architecture structures here speechless stunning beautiful, can't believe just next to my home.

I'm not even a Christian, but this place was just cool. I identify myself as a Satanist and I only went to the church because I was passing by on my way to Massy hall for a mother mother concert. Just look around inside and it was beautiful ❤️ I love studying religion in this place just filled my passion. The place was huge and heavily detailed. Even if you're not a Christian it's a great place to look at if you ever get the chance. (Just remember to be respectful)

My visit to Saint Michael’s Cathedral in Toronto for the Christmas mass was nothing short of a divine experience. Arriving early at around 10:30 AM for the 12 PM mass proved to be a wise decision, as it allowed us to secure seats in the third row, offering an unobstructed view of the Bishop and the enchanting proceedings of the mass. The cathedral itself is a masterpiece of architectural beauty, especially following its recent renovation. It’s evident that great care and thought were put into its restoration, bringing out the intricate details of its design while preserving its historical essence. The interior of the cathedral, bathed in the soft glow of lights, with majestic Christmas trees and vibrant poinsettias strategically placed, created an atmosphere of warmth and solemnity fitting for the occasion. A standout feature of the service was the celestial music provided by the choir from Saint Michael’s Choir School. Their harmonious voices added an ethereal quality to the mass, elevating the entire experience to a transcendent level. The choir’s performance was not just a musical act but a heartfelt expression of faith and celebration, perfectly capturing the spirit of Christmas. Saint Michael’s Cathedral, with its splendid architecture, soulful choir, and a sense of sacred serenity, offers a truly unique experience. It stands out as a gem in Toronto’s landscape of worship places. I would highly recommend anyone, regardless of their religious affiliations, to attend mass here, especially during special occasions like Christmas. It’s an experience that nourishes the soul, uplifts the spirit, and showcases the beauty of communal faith and celebration.

Beautiful church in walking distance from Dundas subway station. The interior of the church is simply serene. The exterior also looks very elegant. We went on Sunday morning for 8 am mass. The church was not very crowded then. Ayer the mass the church had arranged a coffee and snacks for the faithful which is really great for the community building.

St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica is a Roman Catholic church and one of Toronto's oldest churches. The church was built in the middle of the nineteenth century in the English Gothic style. The facade is made of yellow bricks, which gives the church a more modern look. Unfortunately, the church was closed when I was there so I couldn't visit the side and contented myself with enjoying the wonderful architecture from the outside.

Stunning church in the middle of the city. Amazing architecture design inside and out. Great service too! I've been here several times. One Sunday, I went before 12 noon to attend the mass. There was no line going inside. Before the mass started, I went to use the washroom and noticed that there were staff in the entrance door controlling the number of people to go inside. They have a tally of how many people were there. Maybe in order to stop letting people in if it's getting crowded inside. If you are a tourist and want to buy souvenirs, follow the stairs going to the washroom and you'll find the store. There's also a crypt chapel if you walk through but it's closed. If you go weekdays, sometimes the washroom is not open but you can ask the staff roaming around.

I've been here a few times now and I love it here. It is a beautiful church and well worth the time. I have been to many Basilica's and this one is definitely a must see if you live or are visiting Toronto. Parking is easy. If you want inner peace, come here. The sounds of nothing will make you at ease, trust me!

Beautiful Cathedral Church in the English Gothic Revival Style, built in 1848. This beautiful building is full of character and detail amongst plain glass and flat stone and composite buildings surrounding it. Its remarkable both in and out.

Excellent cathedral that is well maintained and recently restored. It is a Roman Catholic Cathedral. And has an active and well updated website as well. The choir makes the mass more spiritual.

Always gives you a feeling of awe looking at the beautiful ceilings and stained-glass windows. The all-boys choir on a Sunday mass I visited sounded angelic and the service gives you a warm feeling of peace.

Beautiful cathedral. I moved to the rural so I don’t think I’ll get another opportunity to see something so impressive. Went here for daily mass when visiting Toronto.

Amazing Cathedral Basilica! Many pics already uploaded so I’m just including a pic of the outside from this morning and of a friend curled up on the front steps. I guess even raccoons have a rough time once in a while and need a safe place to sleep … LOL! So cute, yet as a person from the country I wondered why he was not hiding in the daytime. Curious?!?

The architecture and history of this beautiful building make it a must see, even if you are not Catholic. I went outside of Mass so that I could take my time admiring the stained glass windows and many beautiful pieces of art. I would like to attend Mass if only to hear the masterwork organ in action.

This is a beautiful church in the heart of Toronto. The organ and cantor maintain a solemn, uplifting atmosphere to worship along with the warmth and wisdom of the clergy. The community also seems tight knit despite being a hub for tourists and traveling faithful.

Constructed in the 19th century, this church is an architectural marvel! Daily mass service is available(3 masses daily, and 5 masses on Sunday. If you're new in the city or just visiting, you should make it a point to attend mass. The choir is heavenly!! Paired with the organ it creates a perfect environment for prayer and worship! The stained glass windows depict various saints and characters from the Bible. One must definitely visit when in town!

I am by no means religious nor a church goer. I only visited because I had to go to the hospital and I passed it along the way. I was pleasantly surprised to witness the joining of two souls in matrimony, which made the experience more profound. The pastor delivered a beautiful sermon that really imbued the true meaning of love. The architecture inside is no different than any other majestic church.

A gorgeous cathedral… when I’m traveling, I love to visit churches .. it’s practically a free museum where anyone can admire the architecture, sculpture, paintings & peacefulness .. I was lucky enough to pop in right after a wedding & admire the gorgeous flowers arrangements as well!

6 star church service. There are three daily masses on weekdays. It might be good to have less than 30 minutes holy mass less than half an hour on weekdays.

Been going to their 5pm Sunday mass recently and their homilies are very straightforward. It's a great place to pray and reflect spiritually. I'm not too sure if their other masses have it but they do have confessions before the mass starts.

St.Michael's Cathedral Basikica is absolutely stunning. I love its high arched ceiling and stained glass windows. Its carefully guilded works of art successfully reflect a persistent yet gentle invitation to Heaven. The Cathedral draws one who prays through our natural attraction to and through beauty to the higher realms. As such, I find this gorgeous church to be an oasis of prayer in a chaotic world. Hence, I highly recommend this 'house of prayer' for a prayerful worship or a simple visit.

Love the Beauty of this Cathedral. Went for Mass on Sunday at 12pm and Cardinal Thomas Collins was celebrating it. The Choir and the Choir Master did and awesome job. A must visit parking is just opposite to the cathedral.

It’s marvellous and huge and beautiful. This church has want me to now go and see the inside of it. It looks very gorgeous from the outside and I’m not sure when will I get to see the inside. It’s closer to Queens station on line 1 and has multiple entry exists. You can also walk here from Dundas station. The dome and the glass is so pretty and mesmerizing!!’ This place gives me historic feeling and I’ll search more about it and get back to the timings very soon !!!!

Beautiful basilica in downtown Toronto. The mother church of the Archdiocese of Toronto. This basilica is the base of Thomas Cardinal Collins. On site are relics of St. Jude the Apostle, St Anthony of Padua, and St. Therese of Liseux. So much more than just an architectural wonder. This is the center of worship by Toronto Catholics for more than 100 years. Marvel at the rose stained glass windows of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Holy Spirit, hovers over the main altar. Gracious hosts, venue of the Thanksgiving mass commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Legion of Mary. Limited paid parking on site, close to Dundas and Queen TTC subway stations.
