Good comedy show with lots of entertainment. Typical to warm up act, a headliner, and a host. The 10:30 show started around 10:35 and went till a little after midnight. If I were to do it over again, I would sit more towards the entrance as I think it's quieter than being in the back. I found the area near where they bring out the food and mix up the drinks to be a bit loud for my taste and it distracted from the show. I'm from the us, and I found the Canadian show funny and unfiltered which was great.

Went there last Saturday night for a show. In a basement. Packed in like sardines, elbow to elbow with everyone. Tiny tables in front to separate rows. Never experienced and indoor show, with so close contact with others sitting down, and no masks. Tuesday developed a sore throat and a fever and a cough. I remember when everyone got their own tables at Yuk Yuk's. I'll never go to that location again.

Show was very good - lots of talent on stage. Great energy. I’d give the show we saw 4 stars. I’d give the venue 2 stars at the most, if I was being extremely generous. Despite being there early/well before the emcee hit the stage, the server didn’t even take our order until the third or fourth opening act. By then we had downgraded what we wanted and just got what was cheap and fast, and easy to communicate w/o interrupting what was happening on stage. Every other person around us (in front, behind, and on both sides) had been served. The server would go down the line taking orders and then would stop and leave before getting to us. Nearly impossible to flag down. We likely would have ordered more than one round, but it was such a challenge getting our first drinks we didn’t even try to get more. Room is EXTREMELY crowded. If you have any problems with claustrophobia and/or are larger in stature I do not recommend coming, simply due to the seating space. I’m not just talking bigger (as a chubby gal I felt squished), but also if you’re taller I honestly don’t know where you’ll put your limbs. Literally couldn’t move, had no where to put my purse, and the chairs are uncomfortable. For seating you need to go down some stairs, and restrooms are up a lot of stairs. Be mindful of booking tickets (and perhaps directly inquire) if you’re worried or curious about accessibility.

This was my first experience at Yuk Yuk’s and it was extra special because it was the first comedy show for audience and comedians alike after all the covid closures. Awesome line up of comedians and good service. I sat in the front row (but luckily was not a part of any of the comedians jokes!) if you’re looking for some awesome laughs and a truly amazing experience, be sure to visit Yuk Yuk’s! Try their martinis they are strong! :)

Great show featuring hilarious comics. Loved that they’re uncensored here! The only drawback was the uncomfortable seating; opting for a booth would enhance the overall experience. Despite that, I'd certainly return for another round.

We had great seats, in the booths, on the floor I don't think it would be so great unless you were in the front. Food looked and smelled good with reasonable prices on drinks and food though I didn't have the food, we at at the keg just up the street before hand. Drinks were a reasonable price for a comedy club. Service was great and courteous. Show with Tom Green was hilarious and the host was descent enough.

It's a comedy club. Yuks were yukked. Venue was great, show was amazing, and they take covid safety protocols seriously without killing the vibe. Try the Mic Drop cocktail, and tip your servers generously! They're doing the Lord's work, keeping you drunk while you listen to people trying to be funny. About half the time at least one of the two will work.

We’ve been to this particular Yuk Yuks twice now and both times have been an absolute great time! The staff are friendly, their line ups are relentlessly hilarious and it’s so easy to get drinks delivered right to your seat. Highly recommend this place for a funny night out in Toronto!!

We went to a Wednesday night show and had a blast! A few friends joined last minute and the staff made sure that we could all sit together. We loved that the comedians interacted with the crowd. The service (Shweta) was so wonderful and hilarious. We would go back again any day. It’s a great bang for your buck. Thanks for the laughs Yuk Yuk’s!

If you are looking for the very best in Canadian Stand Up Comedy - look no farther than Yuk Yuks. Yuk Yuks has launched the careers of pretty well everyone you have ever heard of.. ( Howie Mandel, Jim Carey , Norm Macdonald, Russell Peters etc) . They shows are always well designed with medical grade funny MC's, Headliners and lots of guest spots . Shows run about 90 min. There is a great bar menu with lots of well priced options. The food menu is quite extensive compared to other comedy clubs so there is lots of choice if you want a snack or a full meal - they have it all. They have just re-opened with all the necessary health and safety protocols in place such as staggered entry and exit for the audience, sanitizing stations, masks on all staff and lots of spacing between the tables. If you are looking for a great night out - this is a pretty great choice. ( they have other locations - you can check web site for those details )

Don't expect super speedy drink service, but also remember you're at a dark and crowded comedy club. Comics were great, MC was funny. Would definitely recommend and go again. If you're sensitive, and will get offended by hearing someone make fun of the many of the hot button topics these days, maybe not the place for.

The comedians and service are awesome. A great way to spend your evening if you are on downtown. I just wish the seating were a little more comfortable. It gets too congested and you end up bumping into the party next to you. But other than that this is a great stand-up comedy club!

Typical comedy club, in the basement, dark and sketchy looking. They really pack the people into the space they have. The show was hilarious, the server was awesome and the blonde girl who thought she was funnier than the main comedian got wrecked. The club is 2minutes away from the Osgoode subway station. Two premium tickets only cost $67. Will go again for sure next time I’m in Toronto. Signed Pam and Tony LOL.

Husband and I went for Friday night show. It was OK. Its a first come first serve seating. Larger parties that come early can get a booth. The rest are very small and narrow tables, where you sit extremely close to others. The show was OK, some jokes were funny, some just meh. But that's a personal preference thing. We left a bit early, before the show ended and honestly, didn't feel like we missed much. But again, it's a preference thing. Overall, an OK experience, not bad or anything but we will not be repeating it.

Pretty good comedy which I'm sure varies night to night, a bit squishier seating than other places I've been to, and more dingier than I was expecting for an international comedy brand but a fun spot nonetheless

The shoe was great. For a few dollars you get to stay for the show of comedians that are just starting at stand up and later from some Stand Up comedians that already have some years on their backs. Although there were few people as public, all of them made us laugh and have a great night. The service was astonishing fast and nice. For shure a great plate to have a nice night

I watched John Hasting last weekend and it was fun! Food and drink are okay! Staffs are nice. There is parking at Indigo across the street but if you can take the subway, you should because it’s too busy to drive there on the weekends.

Really enjoyed my experience here. The shows were very funny and entertaining. The dark sense of humor was definitely the best part. Looking forward to more nights here

The comedy was great. The service was ok, they brought us the wrong food order but it was still a good time.

  • 2/5 J N. 9 months ago on Google
Had a pretty disappointing experience. The comedy acts were mediocre. Two of the five Acts were somewhat funny but the headliner was just not funny. The main issue I had was upon arrival, this guy that worked for the club wanted to sit our group of four in a booth in the back corner where two people would have their backs to the stage. I told him I didn't want to sit there and would prefer to sit in any one of the hundred other chairs that were left available. He said because we're a group of four we have to sit in the booth and there's no other option. I again insisted I don't want to sit with my back to the stage and he began to get very disgruntled. He said the only way you can sit anywhere else is if you guys split up. Made no sense, because we just walked over to the open chairs and sat down next to each other. Dude was very rude and terribly uninviting. Perhaps that's just what you expect when you go to yuk yuks?

  • 5/5 Alekhya M. 1 year ago on Google
Such a great time at YukYuk's! We went for the amateur night not knowing what to expect and it turned out so much better than some professional shows we have been to! Wow! Loved it. Two hours of nonstop fun laughing away. Worth every penny of the 500 pennies as one of the comics put it. Our host, Brian, was super funny too. I'm sure the comics were nervous about following him up because he was really that good! The acoustics were great, our waitress was great. Truly a fun thing to do in Toronto. Can't wait to come back for another show!!

  • 4/5 Jeff R. 9 months ago on Google
Nice place to go, went to see Jason Rouse, and dark comedy humor. Waitress was nice, I ordered chicken tenders and ceaser salad. Was good but took a long time to receive. Waitress was worried and asked me if I received my food twice and went to check. Staff was friendly, and comedians were funny.

Went on a Saturday night, it was a packed house. Got there early and got some good seats. Very funny lineup, lots of laughs, strong drinks! Pretty good for a cheap night out in Toronto.

  • 3/5 William A. 1 year ago on Google
The comedians were great. The wait staff were awesome and did their best. BUT the fact they stuff you in like sardines and you actually have to touch a stranger next to you just to watch is a little too much. I don't remember the Yonge street super club being like this. However when I went to their Oshawa club it is the same. The seats are so close there that the wait staff can't actually directly serve you. So the people have to pass your drinks and food down the line if your on the inside. I rather pay a few more dollars for a ticket and be able to get more then one drink because the waitress is unable to get to tables effectively.

After visiting to see a couple different shows they put in during the week... I can leave saying it's always a wilder ride than expected. Lots of good laughs, some cringey bits (equally cringe watching whoever ends up being that one drunk audience shouter getting asked to leave- thinking they're funnier than who's performing). Lots of variety with different comics branching across a wide range of topics. Nothing's safe but that's how it should be. Scott Thompson on the casting couch was their best even yet. Bonus points for having reasonably priced bottles of house wine and bar snacks. Note to management: Draft beer instead of just those beer buckets would be an upgrade. Pitchers are more enjoyable to share

If I could but zero stars, I would. The staff were horrible! They shushed us for laughing! And their shushing and talking to us was louder than our laughs. How are you supposed to enjoy a comedy show if you can't laugh and quietly comment on the skits?! And their reason for shushing us was because they were recording for people that didn't pay to be there like we did!

  • 4/5 Melanie M. 5 months ago on Google
Love this spot for stand up comedy. Their service staff are quick and efficient. Missing a star as the chairs are uncomfortable and the layout of the show room is too crowded; could use an upgrade!

  • 2/5 John A. 4 months ago on Google
Place used to be good but now there are much better places to go for comedy in Toronto. The acts here play it too safe and it seemed like they were scared to say anything deemed offensive or edgy. And most of the comedians on the “melting pot” show were awful, especially the Faiza girl who made her whole show and personality and identity about her wokeness and activism

I recently attended Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club with my girlfriend, and it was an absolute delight! The comedian's wit, humor, and impeccable timing had the entire audience in stitches. The material was fresh, relatable, and delivered with unmatched charisma. A night filled with laughter, making it a must-see for comedy enthusiasts in the city!

Had a lot of fun! The place is clean, service was great. I went to 'anti-depressuon Thursday' and the line up was varied but flowed really well. Everyone in my group had a great time and we have different political/ social views. Food and drinks are a little pricey but that's Toronto for you.

  • 5/5 Ken M. 5 months ago on Google
That was the best group of comedians we have ever heard at yuk yuks. The drink and food service is always amazing. The 4 comedians and the MC were all totally on their game. The place was packed and the vibe was awesome.

So it was a friends Birthday and I was called to work unexpectedly, I was supposed to change my clothes but because of heavy traffic I wasn’t able to, and I despite me showing my tickets outside to the security, I was disturbed in the middle of the show by some staff member, who didn’t even asked if I had a booking came aggressively and started asking if he can see my tickets. I showed and the guy the left, like he was doing me favour by letting me sit in. Comedians were great though.

First time here, wasn't sure what to expect. A bit more crowded then what I expected. Stage is easily seen and they served food and drinks there. Overall I had a good time and would return for an9ther comedy show/stand up. I would recommend if you haven't g9ne to one before to check it out!

Comedians are good, but this venue is uncomfortable, under resourced and poorly run. You’re packed in like sardines so closely, it’s unpleasant. I suspect fire code violations based on overcrowding. Servers are clearly overworked. Unfortunate use of the space. Also, they refuse to serve tap water, even though they serve alcohol, a policy which violates city bylaws. I ordered a large bottle of Perrier for two people, which arrived sealed, but without glasses. After 10-15 minutes, I had to get up and go to the back to request two glasses, which I carried back to my table. No ice, of course. My nachos arrived 30 minutes later, cold and barely edible. The three stars are for the comedians. The venue alone is one star.

My boyfriend and I went to a yuk yuks show for new years Eve in Toronto, and it was fantastic. The space is a little crammed, but the people are so great! And the comedians are hilarious.

If you're going to order food, make sure you do it all at once. There were three servers; I sat and watched the other two servers give everyone else food and drinks while seeing mine twice the whole night. Once when she came to us initially and at the end of the night to present us with our bill. I asked another server who was literally serving people directly behind us for some food and was told "ask your server"...which I would have gladly done had I seen her. The service was absolutely terrible.

  • 3/5 Larissa Okuyama P. 2 years ago on Google
Great show, terrible service. We went there to celebrate a birthday. Everyone got their snacks, besides the birthday person, even after asking about it 3 times, throughout the course of the whole 2-hour show. It was absurd that after this they also brought a single bill to the birthday person, who had reserved the table, and said they could arrange a division amongst the party afterwards.

Our group went down to have a good laugh and at $22 that was a steal. Unfortunately, they forgot the laughing part. There were a couple of chuckles but meh… thankful for the beverages for sure.

  • 4/5 Danyella B. 1 year ago on Google
Great atmosphere and quick service. Staff is on the ball even during a full house. The comedians were alright but honestly I am kinda tired about hearing Covid jokes. The MC introducing the next act was funnier than the comedians themselves. I would return for a good time since every comedian is different.

Every staff member had a sense of humor from the security to the waiters and obviously the performers. Good food and reasonably priced drinks. Not to mention my date loved it. Will be visiting again and would definitely recommend to others.

The show was great and we definitely enjoyed the acts! They seemed a little understaffed for servers but maybe because it was a Thursday show

Toronto's best stand-up spot. Great shows always. My fifth time there in 3 months. Great food, try their honey garlic chicken sandwich with their fries. it's the best. And the beer bucket is always a great option. Hilarious comics and great staff.

We were at Yuk Yuk’s Toronto on Friday, August 5. What a great show! The place was packed! We opted for a booth and even had dinner there. The service was really good and the manager, Jessica, is always there checking to make sure everything is ok. We noticed the nice changes she has made since she became the manager. The musty smell from the club is gone and the music seems to have gotten better. We always enjoy the Comedians! We have been coming to this location for years! We will keep coming! Kudos to the staff and management!

  • 5/5 Tawfiq R. 1 year ago on Google
Awesome comedy club with great acts/regulars, and a reasonably priced menu. Be warned, however… if you’re sitting in the front/second row, you will get roasted! We still can’t get over Aaron Berg’/Luis J Gomez’ Offend Everyone tour where the so-called doctor and his rather interesting date were the subject of the entire night… and that one guy’s haircut. Great place, great vibes, will be back over and over again.

  • 4/5 Carla C. 4 years ago on Google
Always a great show and is guaranteed to make you laugh. Sweet potato fries are awesome as well. Only recommendation to others is to arrive early to get good seats. Often times a lot of the rows are taken by reservations, however if you arrive too early they do not let you in.

  • 5/5 Janny 1 year ago on Google
We went for the Saturday 7:30 pm show, and it was packed. The room was freezing at the beginning but warmed up an hour later. We were seated in a booth and had a great time - great entertainment for $25/ticket with food and drink options. We ordered nachos, and it was ok. Service was quick and courteous. Accessibility: they are not wheelchair accessible (as mentioned on the website). There are ~15 steps to get down to the seating area and one BIG step into the venue. With crutches, we were seated in a booth by the entrance, and the washroom was on the other side of the venue. The floor was non-slip for crutches.
