First off, I have to say I used to love this place. Dr. Claire Keeley is absolutely AMAZING! She's seen my 11 year old Yorkie a couple of times and she's extremely professional and assertive. She deserves 10 stars! However, Tara, the receptionist, is the rudest most entitled person I've ever encountered. She has NO manners and clearly lacks education, she was literally yelling at me in front of her co-workers. Please invest in sending her to Customer Service Training cause she seriously thinks she owns the place, oh wait no, a business owner would NEVER display that kind of erratic behavior towards a customer. Anyway, after today's horrible experience we won't be coming back (even though I paid $100 in advance for a fecal exam) I rather lose that $ and take my dog somewhere else.

Love this location, staff is very friendly and caring. I struck luck as this was the first Vet I tried when I first moved to Toronto in 2019, i have moved within the city a couple of times and haven't found myself wanting to change to another location. Highly recommend this Vet's office, they will take great care of your pet. My dog Token is always thrilled to go in Everytime he realizes we are at the Vet.

I took my cat here in 2016 and the experience was great. The vet was nice and all of the front desk staff were super knowledgeable. I called once in 2020 to ask a question and they were very helpful. Unfortunately, my recent visit last week was awful. They had two very young people at the front who were pretty unprofessional (one was sucking on a lollipop while we were talking) and incompetent. They really need to get professional and knowledgeable people at the front desk again. That visit left a bad taste in my mouth which is sad because I've had good experiences with them in the past.

Extremely low quality service. Doctors don't even bother to read medical records before appointments and it takes them ages to call with test results. Once my dog had intoxication and almost got paralyzed and they told me that she just had patellar luxation. By evening she couldn't walk and I had to take her to emergency where they got the root cause in minutes. Vets in vca didn't even notice that she had nystagmus. They also didn't notice that my dog started to develop Cushing's syndrome, though she is on Prednisolone and has clear symptoms with which we came multiple times. I can't understand how this is possible. I'm extremely dissatisfied with their service. Not speaking about how expensive they are. Looks like they only care about money and not animals. Maybe they can do vaccines or nail trimming or some simple procedures, but if your pet has a health issue, especially a chronic one, I highly NOT recommend going to this clinic. The only good experience we had, was with Dr Murray, but we only saw him once as he wasn't available during our other visits. We only went to this clinic because it was close, but it's enough.

Money over the pets actual health. They insist on physical exam checks on every appointment but not for the health of the animal but in order to make money on each appointment. I could book 5 appointments this week and they will ask for 5 physical exam checks that are $100+ each time although all you need is one a year. Ridiculous! All I wanted was flea/tick pill refill for my pet

Dr. Andrew Murray is the nicest man alive and takes such wonderful care of the animals. I am a very emotional pet owner - anything wrong with my baby and I have trouble staying calm. Dr. Murray stays calm while never invalidating your feelings, and never dismisses concerns. Feel very lucky that he's currently taking care of my cat as he goes through a tough time. Samantha at the front desk is also so lovely and kind.

Dr. Murray is the absolute best. It's so clear how much he cares about the animals, as well as the owners! He's very transparent about costs and will always offer all options to you before moving forward with anything. Just last week, I needed a last minute appointment for my poor cat who wasn't feeling well, and even though they were completely booked for the day, they found time to see her and treat her. To add to all that, my cat is a very nervous and aggressive girl at the vet (totally sweet any other time) and they're really great with her and do everything to make her more comfortable and avoid unnecessary stress at all times. I just received a follow up call this morning to check on my cat's recovery and they encourage to call with any questions or concerns afterwards. Truly appreciative - Dr. Murray is the best vet I've ever seen!

Love this vet clinic. They are understanding of budgets and give quotes for things like dental work and talk about all your options in a non judgmental manner. We've had everything from dental work to check ups to blood work to unfortunately having to say goodbye to one of our older cats. They are compassionate and communicative, they do a great job including checking in with a phone call a few days after surgery and there aren't any surprises. If you have to say goodbye to any of your furry family members, this is by far the best place to do it. You don't do it in one of their regular exam rooms. They have a special room with a couch, low lighting and a calm atmosphere and a pet bed and blankets. Our little buddy was really relaxed before he was even given sedatives and they have a little led candle "burning" in the reception area to indicate someone is saying goodbye and to be quiet for them. They made a really difficult situation much easier to bear, especially when I was doing it alone. The staff signed and sent a condolence card to us (which I have seen before but is always a thoughtful touch). Thank you VCA. I am so happy that the closest vet clinic to us also happened to be an amazing one.

Nothing but positive experiences with this clinic. I was concerned with my cat being sick, and they squeezed us in within an hour. The vet we saw (Dr. Corber) was fantastic. He also called Thanksgiving Sunday and spent about 30 minutes going over next steps. Medications were called into the pharmacy shortly after for a quick treatment initiation. A few days later, I was concerned over a potential decline, and again the front desk staff got us in within a few hours. All of the front desk staff have been just awesome, and follow ups from another vet Jaclyn regarding next steps, and costs associated have been phenomenal. A lot of people comment about how vets are only concerned with money, and in my experience here (albeit limited) they definitely aren't. They're willing to work with the clients budget and look for alternatives while also prioritizing. I hope my cats the best of health but I'm happy they have somewhere good to go when they're ill.

I had my 12 year old Shih tsu there yesterday. She has been hacking an coughing for a couple of days. We got a same day appointment, she was seen by Dr. Murray, He gave her a full once over, he discovered a grade 3 heart murmur and a severe ear infection. The whole staff were professional and very friendly. They treated my baby like it was one of their own. I left with some medication and a feeling of relief that my baby was taken care of and that a treatment plan will make her comfortable.

My experience with the vets/techs has been great but you shouldn't bring your animal there: 1) They are rarely open - Business hours on weekdays, only until noon on Saturday - Those Saturday slots are always booked 2) They have limited capacity - You won't be able to see someone in a pinch - Add in the above to that problem 3) Any call or questions results in an appointment suggested - I called with a general advice/question this morning and was pushed for an appointment. - I asked for justification of why the appointment made sense and the answer seemed policy/sales oriented and not about my animal - I contacted them to discuss how unhappy I was with the interaction and received a reply with further justification that was not in line with the information that I initially provided. Problems 1, 2 & 3 compound themselves. 4) You won't have a consistent vet - You will get whoever is available at the time (again all the vets/techs seem VERY competent and friendly) Other than geography, it's hard to make sense to continue there. PS- Parking sucks. It's the operational side that is the issue and it impacts your ability to work with the medical side.

This clinic started treating my cat Alex for seizures two years ago. At no time did they pressure me into unnecessary tests or treatments. He was an 11 year old cat with other issues. We decided no imagining, but would treat the seizures with medication. Because he needed meds every day to control the seizures, I would board him with the clinic when I went away. The staff was absolutely lovely. They would update me on how he did over the weekend. Even suggesting blood and urine testing being done while he was there, when he was shortly due. I found the prices for boarding were very reasonable. Alex fell quite ill recently, and I called late in the afternoon to see if they could take him. Despite being full, they told me to bring him in. Alex had gone into heart failure. It was decided at my discretion to say good bye to him. I felt no judgement or pressure to further investigate or treat his failing heart. They allowed me to come into the clinic while they made Alex more comfortable. They explained thoroughly how the procedure would go. I was able to have some time with him, and then we said goodbye. I am so grateful for the care and compassion they gave me that day, and throughout the 2 years they cared for Alex. I highly recommend this clinic. The staff is caring, and understanding. I trusted them with my Alex and will continue to bring Shilah (his partner in crime) to see them when its needed.

Avoid this place like the plague, they preform unnecessary tests, always be sure to ask for the full in depth reports. They charge much higher then Leaside Animal Clinic or Davisville Animal Clinic.

A professional serious conducted place... I trust them to take care of my pets A little on the expensive side and they try to accommodate but you know how it is with almost all vet business. I'm thankful they are close to home in case of an emergency which they have proven at a much needed time for my dog. I would only hope they would be a little more connected interpersonal with their clients. A little detached in my experience ...at the same time I don't hesitate to refer others. You can depend on their service to take care of your pet!

Poor attitude towards clients. For a simple but important Rabies vaccine which it’s urgent to take, they won’t book us in for next two months.

I really love the staff there! They are very attentive, loving and informative. I appreciate the high quality service they provide. I am very happy to take my pets there they are in good hands. If only I could find such a good clinic for myself. Sigh.
