Experience was fine. Not too satisfied tho. We’re in the club at midnight-ish and stayed till like 2ish. After that they stopped offering drinks anymore which sucked so much. I mean doesn’t make sense as the cloud is supported to be open till 7am. Another disappointment is they only play EDM no hip hop/rap

Music, sound, lighting is great here. Awesome vibes. Only giving 3 stars tho because some of the bartenders do shady stuff like short pour shots. ITS NOT EVERY BARTENDER THO!!! One guy had amazing vibes dancing and having a good time, another girl had smiles for days, another I had to ask to fill my shot to the top, he did, but not before giving me a look like I was dumb (this guy could do better). Definitely recommend checking out this venue!

Saturday, August 21, 2021. We lined up at around 9:30 and waited because they said doors open at 9pm (Free before 10:30). After 1 and a half hour, we still couldn’t get in. Asked the staff if the club is full, said no, we just have to wait. Asked again after 5 minutes, another staff said it’s full! Looks like they’re just letting guests with reserved table and bottled service to get in, without telling the regular guests about the policy! We waited for almost 2 hours for nothing! It’s as simple as being transparent rather than making people wait for nothing!

So what a quaint EdM place. Lol Joking, it's a great house & trance EdM nightclub. Dare i say "after-hours' i wasn't sure lol It looked shady from outside! But i was pleasantly surprised. Crowd seemed mixed, younger to mid age i believe, dress up and casual. Dj's cover there all the time. Dim lit, all red lol or was that the lighting....There's was coat check, seating (booths), dance floor, stage, a bigishh bar area, and smokin section. I had a great time. 👍 👌 👍 I'd go there again anyday. Have fun. Music was louddddd. Loved it. 😍

I came here for the first time during the long weekend. I like that it's more intimate than other venues like Rebel (for nights when you don't want to party with such a huge crowd). The DJ's, the lighting and sound were all on-point. I took off 1 star because the bartenders weren't the greatest. Will still return to dance my pants off in the near-future!

I've always enjoyed Coda. One thing that doesn't sit well is that last night, we weren't able to make a reservation, but it was $10 cover before 10:30pm. We lined up at 10:00pm, the line didn't budge because we were told they were full. However shortly after 10:30, they suddenly let the 50 or so guests who were in line in, and we hadn't seen anyone leaving.. And guess what, it was after 10:30pm so we had to pay $25... This felt shady and left a bad taste in my mouth. We arrived with ample time and they simply held us to make us pay more.

Coda Night Club consistently delivers an incredible experience. The music is nothing short of amazing, creating an energetic atmosphere that keeps me coming back. The vibes are great, striking a perfect balance between excitement and relaxation. It has become my go-to club for a memorable night out, thanks to its consistently fantastic ambiance and top-notch music selection. Highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable nightlife experience.

Footwork then a coda regular till 2015. Went back this weekend after 8 years hiatus for DJ Eats Everything set and it was just as amazing as before. Security, bartenders and the crowd are friendly and respectful. PK sound system, great openers and the headliners never disappoint. I’m so happy to be back and can’t wait to come back again.

Go here if you’re into techno and house music. The sound system is amazing and the crowd was having a lot of fun. The line moves fast too. Staff was fun to chat with too. $20 cover.

This is THE BEST club in Toronto. And I would put a lot of money on that. It’s the safest atmosphere where you feel welcome and respected at all times no matter who you are or what you look like. The staff and owners are all AMAZING. The music is always fantastic and the people you meet there are nothing but good vibes. Been coming here since 2019 and if I could get a year long seasons pass I WOULD.

They book amazing people however the crowd can be a hit or a miss. Can’t guarantee everyone will be there for the music. Some people don’t know how to behave at a club and will be annoying as hell (fan clacking, pushing their way to the front). Sad to say but there are lots of creepy guys not even hitting on women just wanting to get close to you on the dance floor. So my recommendation would be to not come here alone as a women/femme person.

Awesome place to experience great house & techno music! Ratio was lots of dudes and the approach was aggressive towards females, however. (a comment from my two female friends' first time experience). $5 small bottles of water too :/

If you’re into electronic music, this is one of the best places in the town. It usually brings the top local and international DJs and it’s always full on weekends. It’s a small club but big enough to have good time. It has good speakers, friendly staff and great vibe.

The people that go to Coda are the most respectful among all Toronto clubs. And they area a mix of all ages, not only young or only old people. I've been in there many times and yet never seen a fight or even a harassment. And the sound quality is very good and the staff are so cool and friendly. And it's got a nice dance floor unlike most clubs that limit their dance floor for making more money by "Bottle Service". And the last thing, it's not overcrowded like Toybox!

Hit or miss, depends on the crowd. Occasionally a good place to have a good time, enjoy music, and meet people. The venue is spacious and, with reasonable drink prices and plenty of food nearby.

Coda is absolutely fantastic! the layout of the club, the sound system, the lighting? everything about it is amazing! The acts they get here are also in a league of its own! Definitely top 10 in Toronto for rave venues! I've been here now for like 5 or 6 shows just in the last 2 years and they've always consistently delivered some of the best experiences. There's also plenty of street parking near the venue that's free on Friday-Sunday evening until well past midnight.

CODA is the best club in the world! Never had a bad experience. Staff are super professional. I've seen how even the artists are impressed by the professionalism of staff helping their equipment. These people legitimately care and it shows.

Security line could be improved. Lots of talk about how it's always slow, and we're potentially missing acts they wanted to see due to arriving a bit late, understandably so. Great sound quality. Fast service at the bar. Would be nice if they stayed open an hour or two longer.

Favorite go to club! Been there several times. The staff are nice, the security team is really professional, polite and know what to do. The music and DJs are mostly decent (Usually techno and sometimes EDMs) recommended

never a bad night at CODA! i will come back time and time again.. i suggest you bring ear plugs as it gets loud if you get overstimulated easily. it is an edm scene and i always suggest you buy tickets online before even tho the door line always moves quick. there's a smoke pit and coat check as well ($5). enjoy the music and let your brain melt :))

I never not have a good time at CODA. We never have issues with security, if you come respectful they receive you with the same energy. I don’t care that they charge $5 since everything else outweighs that… people forget everything is up charged at venues. If you’re going to go out, be prepared to spend money. They have solid bookings, the sound is great and I personally like the crowd here better.

I've been going here ever since I turned 19. This place has always been a second home to me, as a DJ and patron. The staff are polite, the venue is organized and operating safely. The dance music is truly second to none in Toronto. The venue offers extremely affordable late-night food and drinks. A large variety of eclectic DJs every weekend, with heavy support on locals who want to build a name for themselves. Tips: - Arrive early to avoid waiting, spending a lot of money at the door or disappointment - Buy tickets in advance if there is that option - Try the food ($5-10 menu) - Stay hydrated - Come dressed properly and prepared to dance for long hours

I visited Coda to see a house DJ while I was visiting Toronto from the states. Really friendly security and staff, good drinks, great sounding room, and a nice floor. I've been to many clubs/venues across North America and Coda left a great impression. I'd definitely like to come back when I'm next in Toronto!

The security at this place was amazing. It really did feel like they cared about their job. The music is awesome too, just bring ear plugs to protect your ears. The washrooms could have been a bit cleaner, but it still wasn’t bad as a woman. The ventilation was amazing it didn’t feel hot or sweaty at all. However, I will say that some of the guys were a bit creepy sometimes. But overall, great music, great people, and awesome light work.

Bouncer accused and assumed that I would “pop pills” when I just wanted to switch my heels into my sneakers to dance because my feet were hurting. Lack of respect for people paying to attend events and treating my friends and I like cattle. Do better in terms of treating people at the events, especially those with no malintentions.

Best club in the city. The vibe, lighting, people, and sound system are all banging. If your in a great mood this is the perfect place to go. Sometimes tickets can be pricey but if you buy ahead of time it won’t be that much. Drinks are regular price for Toronto.

It’s a great venue for an intimate party when you don’t want to be in a huge crowd like at Rebel. Plenty of room to move around and dance - also easy to get close to the front if you want. The DJ booth is also pretty easy to view from almost everywhere in the club.

Absolutely love this club. Came from the old Footwork days and it feels like the same experience and vibes. Fantastic artist lineups, events, and staff. The go-to club for techno, house, and electronic music in Toronto.

An OK after-hours club, with decent DJs. The staff was overall friendly and accommodating, with an exception or two. Not too much space to lounge. The restrooms could certainly use an upgrade. Not worth the average ticket prices here.

Slowly becoming an institution, filling the void of dance music and dance music venues that has been created in recent years with the closing of various other venues. Never had an issue with the crowd, rudeness or any altercations. And they have food, which is a first and certainly surprised me. Sound system is top notch and security is pleasant and efficient.

I recently visited Coda and was thoroughly impressed. The club has an awesome vibe that strikes the perfect balance between energetic and relaxed. It wasn't overly crowded, which made for a more enjoyable experience. Additionally, the security at Coda is top-notch, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Highly recommend for a fun night out!

The security here.. nauseating. I’m sorry but they’re rude and they make you feel very uncomfortable. 30$ coverage for a local dj. Stopped serving alc at 10pm? The place has low ceilings and makes you feel like you’re suffocating. Not sure how big DJs come here

Quality sound, decent priced drinks, lots of available sitting even without bottle service, good djs, great staff, security and bartenders. Safe place if unsure where to be on a Saturday night, never got disappointed. We love Coda! Not so great: Where are the girls lately?!? This place is turning in to a Saturday sausage party.

  • 1/5 Pablo A. 4 months ago on Google
This place lures people by creating a guest list and does everything possible to make you pay. I went sometime in the summer and we were not let in until the wait list entry was no longer valid (30+ mins). The second time we made sure we went much earlier but we were only honored one pass as "we were supposed to add one entry per person" when the system asked you to enter the number of people in your group... We still decided to enter as we had already lined up for a while but we didn't think it was worth it once we were in. It's a shame that there are places out there that bait you with lies and, on top of that, treat you like if they didn't want your business (aka. security is just rude to everyone). Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back

  • 1/5 matt g. 6 months ago on Google
Homophobic and aggressive staff. Overtly rude and handsy. Male or female straight or not. This is the last place I'd recommend. They need to refresh there door staff. From assault, to taking your money to let you in because they don't like your outfit. This place is trash.

Love the club, but be very careful of security guards. I just had one grope my thigh as he walked by and he’s wearing a mask so I can only see his eyes. Just be aware.

I didn't really enjoy myself. Take this review with a grain of salt since it was a night during TIF and the event got cancelled since the DJ couldn't make his flight. So it was just a normal night $20 entry (can pay with card - good) $4 coat check (no card - not good). Pro: -Staff is cool: this includes the coat check, security, the people who pat you down, and the people who make you pay to enter. -Security: they are professional (saw them refuse a very drunk guy at entry in front of me and told him to come back in 30 minutes after he ate, this was a good judgment call). -Vibes: generally, the people there have a good vibe. They seem a bit older and mature. They seem in there for the music. However, didn't start well with a jock cutting in line right in front of me. Either he was too drunk to notice or he was being rude. Didn't address it, didn't want to start something. Other than him, everyone else seemed polite and mature. -Music is good EDM. -Sound system is amazing, good bass. -Bartenders are good. Bad: -Washroom is small. One door is broken in the men's washroom (come on guys, fix it, there are only 3 stalls). It's kinda hard to know which is the men's and which is the women's washroom. -Smoking area is small, but at least there is one, so you can go outside and breathe air. -The HEAT: CODA, please fix this. It is unacceptably hot in your club. Much hotter than in other clubs. Pump the AC please. I had to leave after 30 minutes since I thought I was going to faint from heat, I was wearing a thin shirt. -The venue itself is slightly too dark. Can barely see where you're going. Just a bit more light would be good. -The venue is also just a bit too small. I was a bit disappointed with how small this was. -Location: Bloor and Bathurst. A bit too North for me. Prefer downtime. But close to a street car at least, which is good. -Costly: they mostly throw events, these are usually like $40-$50 ish. I appreciated the $20 entry when my event got cancelled. Won't return. It is not a bad club, just not for me. The dealbreaker for me is just the heat. You can't dance in heat.

Very fun venue the lighting is good the sound system is good it’s great space for dancing not too big not too small Which give it a good energy. In winter the cost check can be slow but it’s more the Fault of the clients than the club stuff. If they speed up the process of getting in the club ( even people with tickets has to wait outside and when it’s cold it can be annoying) def they will deserve 5 stars Also the club is near a subway station and street cars very convenient

  • 5/5 Donny B. 2 years ago on Google
Just attended my first show here and was genuinely impressed. The PK Sound sound system was incredible no matter where you stand, and the DMX lighting looked great, not to mention a lot more spacious than I expected. Hoping this venue will be utilized a lot more now that shows are happening again

  • 5/5 Jessica R. 2 years ago on Google
Arrived at 9:30pm to beat any line up, we were outside 5 minutes tops. Friendly security and discounted entry if on guestlist. Great lighting throughout with ample seating. First few DJs are okay, but after 11:30pm the new DJs are amazing hence the lineup outside. DJ booth allows people to come in which is a cool experience. Clean bathrooms. A water bottle is $5 cash per person which sucks. Coat check is also $5, but a great text message system.

The music wasn't bad hard too get into till after when it starts getting hype, I enjoyed the lighting over all like a laser show, not so bad for a non-Quarantine club ig for your into dub step I would say to check it out

Very expensive, music is not that great and even with 20 security guards, my friends were still harassed by some creeps. I’d skip this club for some private party or good techno music.

Best nightclub in toronto, i go there all the time and get bottle service. The prices are reasonable and if you happen to get daniella, she is a complete gem and she will take care of you! My 2 cents here… and also amazing sound system with excellent music…

  • 2/5 Charlotte S. 9 months ago on Google
Sometimes great DJs perform here, but it's a terrible crowd and not a community feel at all. Not all of them, but most of the security is also constantly power tripping. It's just not a very inviting and fun spot to be in. I avoid it at all costs but will make exceptions when there's a good DJ.

  • 5/5 Aarón V. 8 months ago on Google
It's a nice place for dancing and listening to good Djs I think it doesn't go to Spence I got my tickets for 40$ dollars two weeks ago the night was so good I will be back pretty soon. Safety and nice atmosphere inside. I Loved it.

Saw Dusky, but I have to say the venue is a great mix of club with a warehouse vibe to it. Amazing sound system and bartenders were very pleasant.

  • 1/5 A G. 2 months ago on Google • 1 review New
Rude and disrespectful power tripping security. The only nice staff working there was the lady in the bathroom. no free water ($5 for water). When they charge you $60 for a show you would at least expect free water. sketchy and bro-y crowd, Sound system is good but they also oversell their shows so always too packed and no air or room to dance. bad ventilation feels like there is no air inside especially a busy night. Smoking area doesn’t even have a bench to sit on. Such a disappointing experience and this says a lot after 13 years of raving. This was just horrible. would never go back. CODA do better.
