An amazing service for those of us who do not have a family practitioner yet. I also have an deep aversion to doctors offices/walk in clinics/ hospitals so for someone like me this was a dream. Got an amazing physician who looked after my needs immediately and I was able to send my prescription to the pharmacy of my choice. 100% satisfied and will certainly use it again.

What a valuable service for a Rural Province! I was in need of a simple Dr's note to claim my medical massages. My Dr is extremely difficult to get virtual appointments with. It would have been a 2-3 week wait, plus a fee, plus my time to go and pick it up. With Maple, my consultation with the Nurse Practioner was quick, concise, resulting in exactly what I needed. The whole process from registering, consulting, then downloading the requested file, was less than 15 minutes!

Fast, direct, and effective. I had a sinus infection, wrote down my symptoms, and answered a few more questions to the NP, and within an hour I had a prescription sent to my local pharmacy ready for pickup. I would have had to wait hours at an out-patient clinic, and the nearest one is almost an hour away. A great tool for diagnosing simple conditions and quickly receiving prescriptions.

Scam of a company. I decided to pay the $70 for an appointment because in my area walk-ins are nearly impossible to get into and the ER didn't help my current condition except say to contact a specialist. Turns out the specialist I need will only take on patients with a referral for the current condition. On the consultation, they said they can not give out referrals so I paid $70 for absolutely zero help. Might seem like a small amount of money to wealthy doctors, but that was the last of my money for the next 2 weeks which I justified spending to hopefully get out of this pain sooner rather than later. If you need a refill on an immediate prescription or have a minor issue, Maple may be worth it. But keep in mind you may be paying $70 for absolutely zero help.

The service was great and I thank you for that. I setup the appointment via the desktop and all went well. I waited to send the prescription in and that is when things went a little sideways. Trying to login from my phone it forced the app on me and because I did not have the password it created an endless loop of emails to app to email resets. Doing this at the pharmacy was extremely tedious. So bottom line the app needs work and the desktop version worked great.

I have access to this service through my work insurance and let me tell you, this service is absolutely amazing! Granted some health conditions need an in person consultation, but I had an eligible condition and got a prescription and a specialist referral within 15 minutes of being connected to a general practitioner. Highly recommend especially to someone who does not have a family doctor!

Very fast, capable and helpful. Eliminated a long wait at outpatients as it was the weekend and the health care providers I needed were closed. Knowledgeable about the platform. Fast, easy, and seamless. Will definitely use more often. Much faster and easier than even booking an appointment with your Dr, and all from the comfort of your home.

My experience was fantastic. At the comfort of your home you get to consult your concern. In less than 5 minutes i got connected with healthcare professional addressing my issues. Got prescription pick up at the designated pharmacy. Was amazed with the service easy to navigate. Recommended skip the long wait and you save time

This is the first time I used the service to speak to a physician. I needed a referral and the whole process was quickly completed. I like that I got a copy of the referral which I printed for my own records and I received a notification that the specialist had received it. The only thing I didn't like was having to repeat info. I had taken the time to enter medication and medical history data into the Maple System. The doctor asked for it again. If that is the norm, why did I bother to enter it in the first place? Otherwise, it worked well for that particular need.

I have recently lost my GP which leads to many issues but this app made getting blood work, results, and prescriptions incredibly easy. It’s extremely convenient, user-friendly, and very efficient. I had all my concerns addressed in less than 10 minutes start-to-finish. I can also see how this relieves stress from our healthcare system. 10/10.

Super easy to navigate. Didn’t have to wait long to speak with a practitioner. Practitioner I spoke to was very helpful and asked many questions before recommending anything. Didn’t feel rushed at all which was nice when compared to seeing your physician sometimes. Prescription provided and sent right to my pharmacy with request for delivery. And all this from the comfort of home. Would definitely use again.

Not only was this a very convenient way to access health care, but I was satisfied with the experience of speaking with someone who was knowledgeable and as well personable. I will definitely use this method in the future. No waiting for an appointment and no waiting in the Drs office. I filled out the online request and waited in my own home for a notice to go online and a Doctor or nurse practitioner was available to speak with me. I think it was just a couple of hours. We did video chat and it was great.

My doctor's office was closed and I needed a prescription so I used the maple app. I was contacted with a doctor in a few minutes who asked all some questions about my issue and after a chat she prescribed my pills and had them faxed go my pharmacy right away. It was quick and so convenient and I didn't have to wait 4 days till my doctor was back. Very happy with the service.

So thrilled with the Maple app. It was quick and friendly and the doctor was thorough. So much better and easier than sitting in a walk in clinic for hours. The prescription was sent to my pharmacy and I picked it up without any issues. Will definitely use this service again.

Needed an easy prescription- but had to request twice as the first appointment got rejected and told in person visit. It’s not, I technically could have just gone to a pharmacy for it. So I re-requested the appointment and finally got everything I needed. Overall a great service but you have to be persistent.

It does cost money- if you have insurance, see if the services you want are covered. My daughter and I have both used the services. Instead of having to wait in an office for long hours or go from full walk in clinic to walk in clinic, we were able to talk to a doctor in a timely fashion and get medication that we needed. Total Godsend!

After struggling with a cough for two weeks, I knew I needed a puffer to get some relief. Although navigating a new process that wasn't super intuitive, I made it through. The doctor was quick, thorough, and a script was sent in promptly. I don't love the idea of private healthcare, and only used this because it was a part of my CAA membership, but ultimately, it was a helpful process for what I needed when I couldn't get in to see my doctor.

This service is great. After I logged in and explained my health challenge I was speaking with a doctor within a couple of minutes. He assessed my situation, asked lots of questions and faxed a prescription to my pharmacy. My doctor wasn't available for one week and I didn't want to go to a walk in clinic where I would be surrounded by people with the flu, etc. I am lucky the fee of $69.00 is covered by my health plan. Thank you Maple!!!

It was easy to use Maple. I found the doctors to be willing to take time to explain things to me and offer options besides just more prescription pills. It was convenient to contact them from home, on my own schedule. They were able to send me for bloodwork, and provide results for me at a later appointment. It is a good idea, and seems to work well for non-emergency doctor visits.

Maple is great ! We get a few free visits a year with our CAA membership and it has been so valuable . Wonderful to be able to connect with a doctor or NP from the comfort of home in minutes and have my prescription sent to the pharmacy all at once. Much better than waiting hours in a walk in with lots of germs. Highly recommend !

I just used Maple for the very first time today to renew a prescription. All I can say is wow! I was seen by a Doctor very quickly and he answered all my questions. The Maple app is very easy to use and you're guided through the entire consultation process. I'm glad I used Maple today!

Awful. I needed a prescription and was denied. So, I just received a reply from Maple. If you're going to charge 210.00 for a consult, then do a consult. While I wasn't charged, penicillin is not a controlled drug and it was a refill. All was provided prior to consider the request, denied without consult. Defeats the purpose of your service. Tia charged 69.00 and approved the request. Do better Maple!

Thank you Maple! Your doctor was very thorough and professional and made a medical emergency much easier to deal with. One less person clogging up the emergency department which is so very important in Canada these days! Thank you again!

Great service, I tested positive for COVID and contacted Maple within an hour I had a doctor on line and after discussing my condition I received a prescription that was sent to my pharmacy. I am very happy with the good service to take care of me.

I'm sure this service is great if you aren't having a mental health breakdown while trying to sign up to see a GP for a few minutes, but in my case this caused me MORE stress than if I just didn't bother at all. Great idea, but the subscription service is unfair to those of us who are seeking immediate care or attention in a less acute context of having a mental health breakdown due to finances, death of a grandmother and relationship issues all at once time. Honesty, the customer support are great. But having to go to Support, chat, wait for a response, then get coerced into a subscription ... No, sorry. Don't bother. I was actually HAPPY to pay $50 or whatever it used to be for a single visit. it's a bit expensive sure, but when you have customers who are willing to splash out $50 randomly then you're probably going to have to work harder to keep them instead of taking advantage of their emotional state. Please bring back the normal One Time use. I won't be using this again, however, and I have deleted my account DO NOT use this if you need anything even remotely urgent.

Had to get a common prescription. Usually I go to the MediCentre for something basic but decided to try this for the first time instead of making it a 2 hour chunk of day. Less than 15 minutes later I was set from home. Didn't even need to put on my street clothes. Prescription was uploaded to pharmacy for a choice of pickup or delivery. Not too bad at all.

Maple was very convenient and helpful today. It was a holiday weekend, with a couple of days before being able to see our family doctor. The choice was hospital emergency, the pharmacy, a drop-in clinic, or Maple. We did try the Pharmacist, but the young lady was reluctant to prescribe medications. Time to give Maple a try. We had an appointment within a short time. The doctor asked all of the questions needed, and made a decision to write a prescription. We picked it up within an hour. No waiting rooms, no long waiting.

The convenience of Maple is amazing. I had coverage through CAA for 5 consultations so decided to take advantage of it as we had just moved and were a long way away from our family doctor. Within minutes I was connected with a doctor through text messaging and within a few hours the prescription was ready at our local pharmacy. Maple saved a lot of time, stress, and hassle.

Worth every cent! If you want to avoid 8 hours in a waiting room, pay the $60 and get medical attention in minutes. Very simple process to get a prescription at your pharmacy of choice.

Would give negative stars if I could. Terrible service that declined my requests multiple times. All I wanted was an x-ray requisition for my toddler's crushed hand. I explained that a paramedic recommended getting an outpatient requisition and they still cancelled my requests for a consultation three times. I live in Ontario and they clearly state that they can send imaging requisitions for residents of Ontario. False advertising...don't bother with these guys. Customer service isn't even remotely apologetic.

When you are able to speak to a doctor on a Sunday at 7:00 pm because your pain is too much to handle and he is able to prescribe pain killers and antibiotics, and the whole process takes less than an hour from start to finish… I loved being able to use this service and I am sure to share my experience with everyone I know. Best service, THANK YOU!!!

I spent 3 hours opening an account , waiting for a doctor... all to have the doctor cancel my request after waiting almost an hour ( which was a simple referral) ! They refunded me ... but I can tell you do not bother unless you have lots of time to waste !

I tried this not wanting to wait at a walk in for hours. I was given the requisition I requested but the doctor didn’t even as much let me type out my symptoms. I was given a generic requisition. When I asked to explain symptoms because I required something different than what was given (Doctor wrote this within 1-2 min of opening chat with zero input from me or questions surrounding symptoms) there was no further answer. I then asked are we still connected? No answer. For $69, sorry this service was awful and likely a waste of money because I will now need to go wait to get the appropriate lab req specific to my symptoms, which the doctor didn’t seem interested in hearing. Im still sitting on the app 20 minutes after ”consultation” began, wondering if I will hear back further. I DO NOT recommend this company. Edited to include the doctor showed up again 15 minutes later asking “what I needed” because he “gave me what i asked for”. I then had to assert for extra things to be investigated. There were zero responses to my questions apart from just forwarding a new lab req with additional things. The doctor did not speak more than five words to me. Thoroughly unimpressed with this service. Yes I got the requisitions after pushing to be listened to, but I’ve never had such horrible customer service and the fact that this is out of pocket I am even more shocked at how I was treated. Only use this if you need something specific and don’t care about an actual consult or anybody listening to your problem before throwing a prescription or requisition at you. Sadly this is what most of Canadian healthcare has become. How quickly can they get you out of their face to go get the next patient in.

I had my 1st experience with Maple and was very impressed. I got to talk with the Doctor via teleconferencing. He reviewed my symptoms, sent me papers to take to hospital for my test and he also emailed my prescription to drugstore of choice. It took maybe 13 minutes from start to finish. Brenda

This is an amazing app that provided me very fast healthcare. However, whenever I made an appointment it directed me to different doctors each time and I wasn’t able to follow up with the first doctor I spoke to. In order to make the diagnosis more consistent and reduce inefficiencies I think it would be best to be able to speak to the same doctor multiple times. Overall a great service.

  • 5/5 Rebecca C. 2 years ago on Google
So fast and efficient. A process that would have ordinarily involved a referral and in excess of a 6 month wait was completed in less than 72 hours. Wholeheartedly recommend Maple, and definitely think that this is the most convenient and time-effective way to do medicine (for most cases)!

  • 5/5 Erica C. 2 years ago on Google
Since the beginning of August I’ve been trying to get a doctor to help me with an issue and after seeing 2 doctors, waiting 8 hours at the ER & countless trips to the pharmacy, Maple was able to help me within 10/15 mins AND with the correct diagnosis. 3 days later, and I’m 99% better with their help. Not to mention, they sent me prescription to the pharmacy & I was able to get it that day.

Was my first time using the program. I was skeptical at first but worked perfectly. Prescription was sent directly to the pharmacy of my choice and everything was processed quickly. Professional and convenient. I would recommend trying. Will definitely use again for certain things.

I've been without a family doctor for 5 years and needed prescriptions renewed and bloodwork done. Dr. Macneil was very patient with me and guided me through the app, since it is not easy the first time. But I was able to complete my goals within an hour. I'm extremely grateful for this service. I picked up my prescriptions today, and have an appointment for blood work soon.

First time using Maple and found it very easy and convenient. Just moved to a new province so we don't have a family doctor and the nearest walk in clinics are quite a drove. Saved us a drive and a long wait in a clinic for a fairly simple issue that we needed a script for, plus we're able to get it done on a Sunday evening. I will definitely use it again and would recommend it.

After logging in to my account on Christmas Eve and requesting medical advice, the Dr. came online within 10 minutes. She quickly sized up my situation and asked a few questions before prescribing a short-duration prescription to get me through the holidays and until I could see my regular medical professional. Perfect! The prescription was faxed to my local pharmacy and I picked it up a few hours after our call. Many thanks Dr. Loretta and Maple!

Great service! Doctor was great and very helpful. Myself and my Husband both use this service and we love it. We are on the list to get a family doctor for the past 5 years at least. We were going to a walk in clinic but that closed. This is a life saver for us!

Amazing! I had a sinus infection and didnt want to wait days to get into my doctor. Within an hour I had filled out the forms, and had a video call with a doctor and a prescription sent to my pharmacy. So easy and quick - and no waiting in a doctors office in the middle of a pandemic. I highly recommend!

I found this service to be efficient and helpful for my circumstances. I recommend it for anyone who does not currently have a family doctor. I am grateful that I could avail myself of the medical profession in such a quick and comfortable manner. Thank you, Maple.

My Doctor retired and although a friends doctor handled my interim health and prescriptions, I am trying the move to an online central medical intervention system instead of relying on one doctor and their record keeping methods and availability of them. I feel I can get Doctors appointments, prescriptions filled, checkups done and question answered just as easy if not easier. I am getting all my health records, medication/prescriptions/procedures Including Life Lab records in one place for easy full access and availability for emergencies, from where ever I am, be it on vacation, travelling or at home. There were 2 dosage errors with moving one of my 3 prescriptions which was a bit alarming but was caught by my pharmacy and myself and is being rectified. Mistakes can happen anywhere and I feel this online experience is the more reliable, expedient, ease of medical records access way to go in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the result. I felt insecure when I lost my family doctor; now I feel a lot more confident. I felt as good could be with the virtual visit. Doctor P. Cusack understood my need very quickly and acted accordingly. Thank you Maple.

  • 4/5 John S. 2 years ago on Google
After a bit of a false start, I connected with a doctor who understood the problem and left me with a solution that dealt with the immediate issue and a follow-up for me if things did not go exactly as planned. Wonderful doctor, and woman. One doctor obviously had not read the post entirely and issued a notice to go ER right away. If they had read the post, they would have known that I spent all day one Sunday at various hospitals, complete with a cat scan.

  • 5/5 Kelly K. 2 years ago on Google
After signing up, the process of making an appointment was so easy. Within an hour, my daughter had an appointment to have her prescription refilled. Saved going to a walk in clinic or emergency room, all from the comfort of your own home. Thanks Maple.

I talked to a couple of Nurse Practitioners and they were all excellent. They took the time to talk to me about my problem and were very professional. They sent me prescriptions and I faxed them over to my pharmacy. They ask you for photo ID, so you send it to them on the camera and then pictures of whatever your concern is. They made it very easy and simple. They offer their advice and ask if you have more questions before letting you go. I wish that the suggestions from the nurse practitioners were saved on your profile, so you could go back and read them. Otherwise, everything was great. Thank you Maple and CAA.

Great online service for getting a prescription, etc. Very convenient, however I wouldn’t recommend getting results sent to their doctors as you will be waiting a long time for results. I had an X-ray last week which was sent to the doctor on Maples requisitions and it’s been 4 working days and I still haven’t been able to get a diagnosis so I can seek treatment. I checked with support and they said test results can take up to 10 days. This doesn’t seem reasonable for an X-ray.

I had a wonderful experience and I have been telling everyone how great Maple is.. I was just looking to have a prescription refilled and was afraid that I would have to go a walk-in-clinic or the out patients department at the hospital and wait for hours, this whole experience from the moment I logged on to the end was maybe 20 minutes and I could do other things while waiting as I received a text when he was ready to speak to me. I feel that this service is exceptional and would highly recommend.

Saved us a ton of time! We were connected with a doctor quickly. We described the symptoms and uploaded a photo for the doctor to review. The doctor recommended a prescription and faxed it over to our local pharmacy. The whole process was painless and only took about 10min total! Much better then sitting in an ER or after hours clinic feeling horrible for hours on end!

What a great service to have! I contacted a doctor at about 5:30am and had everything completely done by 6am. Prescription faxed, diagnoses completed. Though I already knew my problem it was super quick and a really great service. Completely worth the 100$ Dr. Chan was great. I was able to pick my prescription up 20 mins after the pharmacy opened.

Excellent service and fast. I waited only 7 minutes to be connected with a doctor who asked the right questions and answered all my questions too. My prescription was ready at the pharmacy I chose after 10 minutes... The account set up was also very quick and they keep my records in case I need to go back. Better imposible!

Maple possibly saved my life. The night before I spent 8 hrs in an emergency waiting room before I got completely frustrated and left. I went there to treat a fairly high blood pressure reading but still sat for 8 hours. The next morning I tried Maple. The doctor was very thorough and patient. Within 20 mins my prescription was sent to the pharmacy and I felt so much better. It was amazing!!!!!!!!!

Access to care can be difficult and sometimes can’t reasonable wait weeks until you can get an appointment with a doctor in person. It was so nice to have access to requisition for testing and antibiotics through this system. Visit felt thorough and the doctor was wonderfully helpful.
