GREAT STAFF DURING THAT DAY AUGUST 20,2021… VERY GOOD DOCTOR THAT SEEMED VERY OLD BUT HE IS BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS YOUNGER DOCTORS THAT CHECKED MY DOG FOR EAR INFECTION WHO GAVE ME ALL SORTS OF ANTIBIOTICS AND EAR DROPS THAT NEVER WORK… THATS WHY AFTER 2 APPOINTMENT AND MY DOG NEVER HEALED..I NEVER WENT BACK FOR A FEW YEARS TILL ONLY LAST MONTH….THE DOCTOR IS LIKE 85 YEARS OLD BUT INTELLIGENT ONE!! HE GAVE MY DOG JUST AN OTIC EAR DROPS AND IT HEALED MY DOG FOR JUST 1 DROPPED I SWEAR!!! THAT DOCTOR IS NOT A RIP OFF

I had brought my second dog to Brimley Lawrence Animal Clinic to be Neutured. They previously had spayed my other dog and did a great job so I wanted my second dog to come here as well. Excellent service from the begging with all my questions being answered in detail which made me more comfortable during the procedure. Doctors who are very knowledgeable helped me and my dog. I have been using this clinic the last 15 years and I don’t plan on changing and go anywhere else. Thanks you guys so much from your amazing staff to my dogs speedy recovery after surgery. Would highly recommend for any pets services

I would not recommend taking your pet here as they are extremely unprofessional and can not keep there records straight. I have a 6 month old puppy and called at the end of may to have her spayed as we were on a time constraint to get this done before her first heat cycle. They made a file for me and told me I could bring my puppy in on June 15th between 8 am- 9 am to drop her off for her surgery. I called them the night before to confirm the appointment and get some details about the surgery itself. The morning of I brought my puppy in and they told me I have no appointment scheduled or file in the system. They said nothing was booked and the only procedures scheduled for that day were for cats. They were not apologetic and said there was nothing they could do. What a waste of time and gas money. Do not bother going to this clinic they do no care about your pets at all they care about is money. We ended up getting my puppy spayed somewhere else. The manager was suppose to do a follow up today regarding this situation as I requested and it is now close to closing time and there has been no phone call. I have noticed other reviews stating the same thing about appointments. Beware of this place, take your pets somewhere else more reliable!!

We got my cat, noodles, spayed and vaccinated there! They were very nice and very reasonably priced. There was just a bit of a wait but that’s ok. Cat recovered very fast!

I'm shocked by all the negative reviews of this place!!! As we have had only the most compassionate experience from every staff member during the most difficult time in our life. We had to put our beloved 18yr old dog to sleep. Dr Mary was very patient in explaining her diagnose and gave us enough pain meds so that we were able to take our dog home after the first visit to say our proper good-bye. Unfortunately on our second and final visit our dog had gone into a seizure in the backroom on the day of the 'procedure' so by the time she came back with the dog, they had to administer the needle rather quickly but Dr. Mary had apologized profusely and I felt that she also had hoped it didn't ended this way. I appreciated her kindness in giving us the time and space to be in the room afterwards. We choose to have the ashes returned to us and the cremation was handle by Gateway, who also did a beautiful job with the urn and paw print. Thank you to all the staff for being so kind.

I recommend this clinic if you are going to have your pet neutered. This surgery is not too difficult. Experience is more important. This clinic is doing a lot of business and is very skilled. My son has cryptorchidism, and the surgery was done female-based. He recovered quickly, and the wound healed quickly. After that, I went there several times. The fee was reasonable and the service was OK.

I always take my pets (I have a hog and a cat) to this clinic. All the doctors I encountered at the clinic are patient, kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The pricing is very good in comparison to other places, the wait time is acceptable and they always accommodated me even on very short notice. Today, I took Pluto, my cat, for an emergency issue and Dr. Kamal Ahmad attended to the issue with kindness and compassion. He took his time to explain things and was very reasonable with his treatment approach. I am grateful for the way he took care of Pluto. I highly recommend this clinic.

We lost our beloved cat Paulie who was 16 years old. He died from an inoperable tumor in his throat. This place though not much to look at has the most compassionate and caring veterinary clinic in all of Toronto. They actually care more than most and are extremely affordable.

By far the best place, I brought my oldest cat in for an emergency thinking they wouldn't take Bosco in. However I was wrong they acted quick and he got to see the veteneterian. She was very concerned about Bosco and gave us the best options for his recovery. She also gave him a free shot to boost his energy and wellness. Am very thankful for them as it can be very stressful and expensive to for you're feline to be healthy again. Thank you so much for prescribing him his meds. He recovered just fine.

When my dog was sick, I went to the clinic and dealt with Dr. Kahlon. He gave me a comprehensive report on my dog and some options for care. I felt like he really cared about my pup and had our best interests at heart. He was very friendly and provided me some great guidance. I routinely go back now to get check-ups. Very fair and honest.

A few years ago I took my king german shepherd to the clinic to be put down he was 15 years old. The cost was very good compared to the clinic i was using at the time. Putting my dog down was a very difficult and emotional experience for me. I would like to thank the staff for being extremely caring and loving, they gave me all the time I needed to spend with him and checked up on me to make sure I was ok. The staff even sent me a Card a few weeks later. I hope the staff will always stay caring and loving to the animals and the owners.

Our family just had the most unreal experience at this vet. We were told our cat was dying and Asked how much we paid for her. When we told Sam Awad he responded “give her back it was a waste of money she is dead”. Then he offered to keep the kitten instead for no charge. It gets even worse. He mentioned a medication on the black market that cost $12,000.00 and said it can be done. I asked the secretary about this black market and she confirmed that the meds are 12,000 and are available but it is illegal so has to go through black market. Sam Awad also slammed the door on me when I demanded his licence #. All of this is on video. I went to another vet immediately and was told something is off at that place and not to worry and they will check her out properly tomorrow. If you love your pets please pick another place.

Great with my puppy and cats. The 5 star care began with my senior dog 5 years ago. When she passed, they were so graceful, empathetic, and supportive. After she passed, the entire staff sent a condolence card signed by all, and it was so touching to know they care.

If your dog is healthy and just need annual vaccine, it's a good place to go. Staff is nice. Vet didnt really spend time checking my dog. Price is so low comparing to anywhere else.

Excellent staff that ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible, and animals are treated with respect and love. Visited to get the puppy's nails trimmed, which is done with no appointment required. Short but pleasant wait allowed me to weigh the puppy. Recommend this reasonably priced and well staffed clinic. Clinic is located a short distance from an excellent dog park with multiple fenced areas for small, medium and large breeds.

PLEASE PLEASE never take your animals ( fur babies) here. They are all about taking you for a ride for your money. I took my 7 week old new pup to DR Mary. First of all the web site does not show BIO' s of any Dr's giving care at this office, second they don't care about animals at all. My pup was put through hell and back. Round after round of antibiotics that completely stripped her immune system. Never did a blood test, even a focused one, or a skin graph that can see results in the office through a microscope. $1200 later, enough is enough. I took my pup to another vet that was strongly recommended with amazing reviews, and I found out in less than three hours that there is nothing wrong with my pup ,but a destroyed immune system who is now 12 weeks old. Dr Mary said multiple times our loud that she doesn't know what's wrong. After my suggestions of blood work , through my own research she said that it would cost me close to another $1000. My pup had a skin graph done at her new vet, and everything that Dr Mary said was wrong with my pup, did not exist. She was feeding her scrips that had side effects to keep bringing her back for more scrips. 9 antibiotics all together even without finishing the first one. I called her out on all her practice, she stormed out of the office and went into the back. Came back in 20 mins later to tell me to calm down, I then asked her for her credentials, again she turned red faced and walked out of the office again. Finding a new vet, they requested my pups file, and guess what, they are not sending it over. Now I know why they have post signs , no yelling, blaming and abusive behavior allowed. It's posted multiple times within the dirty disgusting office, doesn't even look like any cleaning is done at all. My pup was always so scared and stressed when entering this office. Now having a vet that gives options, explains everything, and shows so much care and compassion towards ppl and animals, my pup loves her new vet. She was Happy and playful while waiting, like the saying goes, babies and animals have the best sense of energy. I can't stress enough never ever take your pet here. Even in our hard economy today, pay a little extra for the proper care. Oh I forgot to mention that my pups anal glands were full due to the diet that this place has my pup on. With my help from my dog trainer and her staff, they introduced a food that works for her and my pup finally has healthy solid poops for the first time at 12 weeks. Shame on this office, they should be investigated and maybe one day shut down due to negligence towards animals. Also I had to cancel a Christmas trip to see my whole family for the first time in 30 years due to all the complications from this so called Animal Clinic.

Very poor experience today where communication was neglectful. We came to pick up tick/flea meds with a prescription from our vet in Montreal. Instead of letting us know they were not comfortable filling the prescription, they had us wait in the waiting room for 30 minutes. We reapproached the front desk, and after 10 minutes of back and forth, they told us the manager was uncomfortable filling the prescription without us paying for a check up with their vet… what an unfortunate cash grab… a disrespect of my time. I will be filing an official complaint with college of vets about this…

horribly rude woman on the phone, refused to tell me a price and kept trying to get me to book an appointment without telling me any costs, i had to ask over and over and over again the price and she got angry with me and chastise me for my frustration with her. Ive been here before when my moms friend worked the counter and was a nice polite lady, but with this woman at the counter ill be going to the rolark vet and i suggest everyone else does too.

Upsettingly callous customer service. I’ve had nothing but decent experiences with their sister clinic, Bellamy Lawrence, but this clinic will treat you like the trash littered outside their clinic. Reception cut me off continuously and became irate when I became frustrated, then called me back 7 times within 5 minutes, and dropped the line when I answered the first 3 calls. Then reception very rudely denied having called me more than once at all and was totally unapologetic about the dropped calls. Reception also decided our interaction was a competitive interruption sport and they must feel very supported by management in their horrible behaviour because they were confidently and bitterly rude, and challenged me to raise a complaint. Even if you excuse the unprofessionalism of the receptionist, the vet who eventually called to talk to me before releasing test results was also short and ended the call with only “yes we don’t need to discuss, BYE.” And the other vet we’ve spoken to twice now in person was very condescending and dishonest about her initial advice to us regarding the cat’s diet. I wouldn’t trust their note-taking. Overall shocking interactions. Overpriced tests. Unclean environment. Unprofessional staff. Take your pets elsewhere. I highly recommend the Beaches Animal Hospital. You will spend more but you will be treated professionally. Even their sister clinic Bellamy Lawrence is a better visit with empathetic, professional, and caring vet techs.

They were able to accommodate my walk in request. We had to put our 14 year old dog to sleep. Dr Kamal was very compassionate and understanding. He did not rush and give us the time we needed. He explain the process clearly. I am glad we went to the location.

Outstanding Care for Our Beloved Pawp - Walk-In Service Review: I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and compassion that Mary, the veterinarian, provided to our furry family member. Our pawp had been experiencing stomach issues since Saturday morning, and Mary took it upon herself to ensure his well-being was her top priority. From the moment we arrived at the clinic, it was evident that Mary is not only highly skilled but also a genuine animal lover. Despite not having an appointment, we were pleasantly surprised to be addressed within an hour. This level of efficiency and accommodation was truly impressive. Mary handled our pawp with the utmost care and tenderness during the examination, putting both him and us at ease. It was heartwarming to witness the affection she showed towards our little one, making us feel confident that he was in capable hands. What truly amazed us was the level of dedication and support Mary extended beyond the initial visit. We made a follow-up visit the next day, and she exceeded our expectations in assisting us. She went above and beyond to ensure our pawp received the best possible care, taking the time to explain his condition thoroughly and answering all our questions patiently. But it didn't end there—Mary even took the initiative to call us later to check in on our pawp's progress. This level of personal attention truly touched our hearts and reassured us that we had chosen the right veterinarian for our furry family member. Overall, our experience with Mary and the clinic was nothing short of exceptional. Her expertise, genuine love for animals, and dedication to going the extra mile make her an outstanding veterinarian. We feel fortunate to have found such a caring professional who treated our pawp as if he were her own. We highly recommend Mary and this clinic to all pet owners seeking top-notch care and heartfelt compassion for their beloved companions. Thank you, Mary, for being an exceptional veterinarian and for taking such wonderful care of our pawp, even without an appointment.

My family and I have taken our family dog here since we first got her in 2016. Personally thought the prices were a little steep but considering this was our first dog in over a decade, I assumed my guesstimates were off. Always found we spent more time waiting than the actual appointment itself. One time we had our dog boarded here while we were on vacation, and noticed upon pick-up that she was significantly low energy compared to her usual high energy self. Thankfully she started having energy again a few days later. Our last appointment was Dec 2022 when we noticed a lump in our dog's chest. I suspected it could be benign (i.e. lipoma) since she's a senior dog now, but the vet/tech at the time had told us there's no way of confirming unless they get a sample which would cost $1000+. When asked if there were alternatives, we ended up paying $360 (incl. tax) for a urine & stool test. I don't believe we got any call ("no news is good news" decorum) but $360 for that testing was a bit much.

So far I’ve had no issues here. It’s always a pleasure and my dog RiRi loves it here. Everybody is very kind and understanding. They’re always happy and you can tell they genuinely enjoy making sure our pets are healthy and happy. Will update if anything changes.

My best friend came and they told her to put her dog down!!!!! Another clinic performed a surgery which was ultimately very successful and gave the dog years more to live. So many other vet clinics to choose from. Don't bother coming here.

I came here today with my elderly dog who was seizuring. I understand they are not a emergency hospital but the time we arrived there were no other patients there. They made us wait for 30 min, after then, people with appointments started to arrive. Once they signed them in they told us that there was a 3 hour wait because we were a walk in. My dog passed away not even 15 min later. If they knew the had appointments coming in why didnt they tell us instead of making us wait. EVERY MINUTE wasted was against my babys life. Shame on this place.

0 customer service. 0 care for animals. They prescribed my cat medication that they don't have record of (luckily, I take photos of all medication slips) and they keep blaming their sister clinic. They can't even pick up the phone without placing you on hold for 15 minutes only for them to hang up on you, when you have a question about the medication prescribed. Both clinics (Bellamy-Lawrence + Brimley) play the blame game and both want to just bounce the pet parent between the two clinics. Absolutely disgusting. Lower prices doesn't mean much when the care/advice you receive is below industry standards. Will be involving my lawyer. Currently on hold for the past 15 minutes already!

We brought our new puppy here in August with no issues. When we took him back earlier this month (September) the tech that dealt with us before the vet came in didn't listen to anything we had to say. Then when the vet came in, he didn't even look at the paw in question. He at first suggested a spray for my puppies hot spot to stop him from licking the area, when I said it was healing and he wasn't licking at it he tried to convince me that it was infected so that I would buy the spray. I did not. He also had me put my puppy pretty much in a choke hold for him to give my puppy his shots. This vet also smacked my puppies paw when my puppy gave him a little warning nip to say he didn't like what was going on. Needless to say we will be going to a different vet.

It is passable. It is hard to find a good vet these days at least in the city. They are more cost effective than most vets. They still hand write their notes so if you ever have to transfer a file it is sometimes difficult for the next vet to read. It is hard to get an appointment. It seems like you have to book at least a week in advance. They stop offering grooming, not sure if that has changed or will change. Miss the groomer they used to have there. There were some other questionable things that occurred, but too much to type here. I say use your judgment, not the worse, but not the greatest. I would recommend if you are looking for a vet that is budget friendly.

My dog was seen by Dr. Mary this evening. She was informative, attentive, listened very well. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly & very respectful. She also let my dog give her kisses and has a genuine love for animals.

I have been brining my whippet to this animal clinic since Feb 2018 and now transferred the file to Bellamy-Lawrence Animal hospital. For 5 years we had great service and dealt with friendly staff. Consultation, diagnosis and treatment was bang on and prices were reasonable. I was fully happy with this clinic and highly recommend it to my family and friends. Exceeds my expectations.
