Kensington market is a unique experience in the metropolitan city of Toronto. With its vintage and art stops, fine dining cuisine from around the world, it's a must-visit spot for all ages. Some very unique products can be seen in some of the stores. Very colorful and vibrant and quite busy. Best to be visited on foot. Some of my favorite stores are Dancing Days and Courage my Love. The only downside is that it is not too clean.

It's hippie, it's bohemian, it's the ultimate in colour and vibrancy of downtown Toronto. Lots of artisans, independent shops, small batch of anything. Good diverse foodie options, small market stalls, and even a market within a market in the small flea market on its west side. Never change Kensington, never change!

7 lives Taco, lived up to our expectations. Food was hot delicious and served in good time. Place to eat inside but it was a take out day. Pricing was great!

Visiting from Vancouver. Kensington Market and Murals was on our list of places to see. Kensington Market is right besides Chinatown. Great area to walk around around and check out the little shops and restaurants. Different types of foods for everyone. The murals were great to see. We were glad to have found the area. If you're visiting Toronto, this should be a destination spot to walk around and eat.

Beautiful day in Kensington Market. Fall day, colors popping everywhere. Double digit temperatures in November and the market streets are busy, the stores are open. Everyone respecting the covid-19 regulations and everyone smiling and happy. Walked around all morning and I must say it's one area in Toronto where people take a second out of there day to say hello, how are you. Got some great photographs to share and will be back again soon. Perfect weather coming for days ahead. If your out this weekend enjoying the weather plan to visit Kensington Market.

It was a warm day to be out and about in downtown Toronto's Kensington Market neighbourhood. Every large city has its own vintage walkable all-round tourist draw like this one lined with speciality shops, eateries & bars, and the odd tenant that doesn't seem to blend in. With COVID-19 social distancing protocols in effect, eateries have had to establish makeshift patios onto sidewalks and local streets. This is my first trip here since my Grandparents passed away over a decade ago having lived a few blocks away. Lots of great memories... The neighbourhood has progressed somewhat and I still recognized Oxford Fruit as an anchor from the past. Please support local businesses!

This was a really cool experience. My family and I were up in Toronto for the day for the Blue Jays game, and needed something to do for a few hours. We were told by some Locals to check out KM. I would compare it to East Village in Manhattan. Walker friendly, bike/skateboard friendly, Smaller streets, many places to eat, a lot of street art, random music playing, and an all round good vibe. Loved the thrift stores and all the local small shops. Only a block away from Chinatown. There was so many different options for food. There was some street parking if you can find a spot, but there was also a good amount of parking decks. Unlike NYc, parking was reasonable. Found a parking deck about $12 for 3 hours. So if you are in Toronto and you are looking for a really chill area to hang out, look no further.

Loved it. So much art, so much different foods and so much culture. Absolute must when visiting Toronto. It's easy to find rare things and even easier to get a little token that reminds.ypu of this beautiful place. It's easy to get there and you're with walking distance from Yonge Dundas Square

Art, food, and atmosphere, it's like traveling to a different country inside Canada. Seven Lives Tacos is worth the wait, Gus Tacos and their patio is a neat spot too.

Went on a pedestrian Sunday. Lots of fun with people out and about, stores and restaurants extending out on to the sidewalk with the streets closed. Highly recommend visiting for locals and tourists. Come hungry.

I visited Toronto twice within a two month period recently and this was one of my very places to visit, this area has everything you need, especially food items, very crowded! I especially love the Caribbean Corner grocery store, an atmosphere that takes me back to my home, Jamaica. Whenever I get to visit Toronto, I will definitely be walking the Kensington market strip.

Drove an hour to Downtown and then walked 2 hr round trip to Little Pebbles to make up for the calories and it was really worth it. Had a Pistachio white chocolate wheel, Raspberry Matcha Croissant cube, and Creme Brule latte. It was heavier then expected but too irresistible not to finish. The spot is a bit small with not much seating area so expect to wait if you go during busy hours, luckily it wasn't busy when we went but as we were leaving it was starting to get crowded.

Hold on, this place is just like home. So many people, cultures, it makes you fit in no matter what you think makes you different. I checked out all the stores, had a great time, and went to Rikki Tikki for lunch. I loved sitting there watching the people walk by. You can't help but feel included. Recommend you go buy some cute items / jewellery at reasonable prices.

A great place to spend the evening. Live music near by most of the time in summer. The prices are all normal.

Not that much to do, I expected more. The area doesn’t smell so good. We couldn’t find any good restaurant around.

Almost everything is open around 11am so don't go earlier... There's a lot of options to eat and buy a diversity of things. I recommend the corner of Churros and Chilaquiles, truly good options of tacos too

I have not been to this place for a long time , definitely not crowded due to Covid pandemic, but i noted there are more little pastry shops around and the butcher shops are still there , they all comply the limited number of shoppers and that is quite reassuring

I love Kensington Market, it’s one of those markets where you’ll bring a friend whose from out of town because it’s a well known place in Toronto. From restaurants, little fruit markets to shops that sells cute gag gifts, this place has everything! Sundays are usually the best time to go during summer time because certain streets are closed for Pedestrian Sundays (you can walk on the streets without having to worry about getting run over by a car). On Sundays, there are also local Artisan Markets you can check out if you’re into handmade goods.

If you like people watching and a lively atmosphere, go on a weekend. There's food, good coffee, and awesome shopping. But don't think "main st" shopping, think "backstreet". Lastly and best of all, cool people!!!

Kensington is not what it used to be, but it's still a great neighbourhood, lots of fun independent stores, and pedestrian Sundays are great.

Who doesn't love the market? The BIA does a great job of promoting and improving the market every day.

A fantastic eclectic collection of stores, shops and stalls carrying everything you could ever need can be found in the market area. The diverse cultural mapping of nation stores selling makes it a must go to area.

An eclectic mishmash of cafes, restaurants, bakeries and pot shops with a sprinkling of the old school immigrant owned businesses that made Augusta a go to destination. Great place for a stroll or some people watching. Awesome selection of food from South American staples, through pie, vegan and even a restaurant serving authentic, authentic indigenous dishes. When you don't know what to do, there's always something going on. The vestiges of its gritty past only add to the flavour

  • 4/5 Nelina M. 2 years ago on Google
Very diverse and nice area, many vintage stores and other interesting stores to visit. Some of them may get pretty pricey.

  • 5/5 No B. 2 years ago on Google
Love it. Good diversity. Cool little shops and people selling things. The vendors don't bother you to buy something. Hit and miss with the food but once you know what you like.... always busy. Good spot to just get out, walk around and socialize.

  • 4/5 May Z. 1 year ago on Google
A vibrant and unique part of the city with a mish mash of different ethnic shops and food places. There are also a great deal of art work from graffiti to buskers to a car growing plants out of it. Watch out for cars as you walk down the narrow sidewalks.
