I drive 25 minutes to get to Eglinton Veterinary Facilities despite there being multiple other vets within walking distance of my house. It’s 100% worth it. At our old vet, my dog had full blown panic attacks and they would have to drug him, muzzle him, and hold him down to get anything done. They would give him so much Trazadone he could hardly walk, and he was still shaking and growling from fear. I would always cry after vet visits and completely dreaded them. Everything changed when we brought him to Eglinton veterinary facilities. We were completely shocked by how calm he and all the other animals there were. They were so patient and gentle with him. I think he might even like our vet. I have so many amazing things I could say about them. They don’t overprice or upsell anything, and everyone who works there genuinely cares so much about the animals in their care. They give my dog everything he needs to feel comfortable and safe, and they give me fantastic advice on how to keep him as healthy and happy as possible. It’s super easy to communicate with them, and I’m often able to get an appointment the day after I call. I really can’t recommend them enough. I’ll never bring a pet anywhere else. Thank you Eglinton Veterinary Facilities.

Highly, highly recommend this clinic. I have a resident vet that is amazing but when it comes to spays, neuters and gastropexy surgeries this is my clinic of choice. I have taken 2 dogs and a cat for these procedures here and have always been extremely satisfied with the service. The front of house staff is top notch and the veterinarians are both very professional and caring. Big 5 stars.

Any trip to the vet is anxiety inducing, especially as a first time pet owner however Eglinton Vet consistently goes above and beyond to make each experience positive! I've been going to them since I got my pup in November 2021, obviously not being able to go inside during COVID wasn't ideal but the staff didn't hesitate to come outside and explain everything even when it was snowing! When my pup recently got into something he shouldn't have and we had to rush in 30 minutes before closing, everyone was super helpful and calm even when I was freaking out. I have no doubts that they have my pups best interest in mind and genuinely care about their patients!

Amazing vet clinic, very caring and do top notch work. Dr. Josh is extremely talented and knowledgeable. At one time we had 4 dogs and we took all of them to him, he is second to none. He is a vet who went into the profession because of his passion for animals and it shows. I always recommend my friends with pets go to him.

Found this place out of convenience but stay for the quality of service and humane treatment. My dog (doagther) love going to the vet. It's like going to the park for her. Never a rough touch or word. The love and care they put into each encounter, regardless of the time of day, speaks volumes on their ethics and love for animals. Wishing more people discover this clinic.

Friendliest and the most professional staff you’ll ever meet in a vet clinic. I’ve had my pup here for a year+ and she’s always received the best treatment and all the love when she comes to visit the clinic. Just absolutely loves everyone there!

Everyone is amazing! From the Doctors to the receptionist. They sincerely care about your pet. I’ve been taking my dog there for over 14 years. Always appreciated them but after having to take my dog elsewhere for an emergency I truly appreciate them that much more. They are the best there is!

The vets and techs here are all very friendly and helpful to me and lavish my dog with attention. They don't recommend unnecessary treatments or tests, which is much appreciated. It was tough not being able to go in the room with my pets during covid, but they made the best of it.

Dr. Watson is by the far the most wonderful vet I’ve encountered. My cat has had health concerns since he was a kitten and Dr. Watson had the utmost empathy and concern. It almost felt like he’d known him for years and spoke about him like he was his own even though it was his first time meeting him. He asked what was going on with him and he was really genuinely concerned for his well being and let me ramble on and on and listened very intently and was so gentle and kind to my little guy. He gave really great advice and reassured me about my decisions for my little man. The staff at the clinic are extremely nice and you can really tell they love animals and what they do. I wish I remembered her name but one of the staff said “I can take that from you, don’t worry about it” referring to my cat carrier, even though I showed up late to my appointment. Lastly, this clinic does not price gouge which was extremely appreciated. I was shocked at my vet bill when the receptionist told me the amount. I thought I misheard. I’ve been to a few other vets in the past and just the day before at the emergency vet my bill had come to over a grand for X-rays, pain meds, and the visit. My visit here was just about a hundred dollars. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I am truly grateful to have found this vet and have switched over my handsome little guy’s family vet to this location. Thank you all for what you do and making this experience feel so much like human health care and for being so kind, respectful, caring, and above all, empathetic.

Amazing to say the least, the whole team is friendly, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. I switched vets a while back and haven’t looked back since. Since day one the team has been there for my dogs and to answer any questions I have. We sadly had to put down our older dog today and the staff were amazing, very accommodating and made everything about this heartbreaking process easy and as simply as possible. Would highly recommend this vet office to anyone who is looking for a new or just wants to switch vets. Prices are very very reasonable compared to other vets in the area as well. Give them a try.

They're good for routine stuff, when you can book way in advance. When my dog needed attention because of an ear infection I had a really hard time finding an appointment; the first opening they had would be in 6 days, which seems excessive to me. I was kinda outraged when they suggested I dropped my dog off in two days (not even on the same day!) for this - checking an ear infection wouldn't take more than 15min, not okay to have her in a cage for this for who knows how long. That shows me that I can't count on them, and that maybe they have more patients that they can handle. I just went someplace else and don't intend to come back. Another thing: When you request an appointment by e-mail and they don't have availability, they just book a random day and time, instead of reaching out to try to find an appointment that works. To me, that's just lazy.

Very friendly vets who are knowledgeable and aren't pushy with upselling services. Quoted me an estimate for a service my pet cat needed, which I agreed to. Once completed, the actual cost came out to be less than the estimate, and they gave me a free bag of dental care cat food to take home, which my cat loves. Only gripe is that it's not easy to find parking nearby

The front desk lady has an unnecessary attitude. She asks questions and expects quick answers. It becomes like an interrogation. She doesn't realize that I don't work at a vet's office and any lay person will take time to explain their concern, and it's her job to facilitate such communication. But I've seen a marked difference in her behaviour with other people who do not look like me. The doctors are good. Front desk shouldn't be in a cursomer facing job if she can't put her prejudices aside.

The nicest and most effective vet around. We take our puppy to see Dr. Josh and he always cares for our dog with a lot of love and expertise. Plus our pup is crazy about him!

This place gives a horrible vibe that staff are there to do the least possible work and make the most possible money out of you. The award winning of them all is the super rude front-desk girl. Whether she hates her job or her life, this unpleasant person does everything in her power to convey that they don't give a damn about your pet's wellbeing or your predicament. Diagnosis was often times inaccurate/incorrect in case of my mom's pet too, inflicting extended suffering to the poor animal and unnecessary expenses to my mom. If you care for your pets, take them where they care for pets too, not to this place.

Rude. I just called them 10 minutes ago to ask about a consultation because I wanted the insight of a professional. I tried explaining the situation and the person who answered the called didn’t even let me finish my sentence and just talks to me with an attitude. My boyfriend tried to explain the situation and once again she just cuts us with an attitude. I will not even try to come here again.

Amazing experience. Everyone was friendly and really cared about my pup. The doctor didn't rush in and out but took the time to explain everything to me, including all the reasons for the different vaccines, dental health etc. He answered all my questions patiently and seemed to genuinely care for the health of my pup. 5 stars, no doubt, and I will be only going to this clinic moving forward.

Refused to see my pet without producing medical history citing this was the "policy". The reason I went to them in the first place is because it's just hard to get on the phone with my clinic so getting a medical history defeats the purpose. Called another clinic and they said having the history is ideal but not a requirement. I think that's reasonable, don't you?

We took our cat to the Eglinton Veterinary Facilities clinic for the first time and were delighted with the excellent care provided by the entire team. Dr. Watson is excellent, in addition to being super friendly, he asked for the complete history of our cat, making us comfortable and confident in their care with our pet. Our cat had 2 vaccines, cut her nails and even got a QR code id tag.

The most respectful vet I have visited. They ask owners for consent before doing anything and don't over-medicate nervous animals before trying other ways to manage them.

We have been going to Eglington Vet for over 12 years with two of our dogs and they are by far the best vet by far. The entire staff is thoughtful, kind and attentive and they are all extremely thorough. I would highly recommend them and they are a true 5 star facility!

We took our two kittens to the Eglinton Veterinary Clinic for their first check up, some vaccinations, and to get them spayed/neutered. Although we’ve been their patient for our old cat, I was still a little worried about taking them in, as they can be quite anxious around new people and places, but the staff at the clinic were fantastic. They were friendly and welcoming, and they made a real effort to put our cats (and us!) at ease. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, which was important to me as I want our cats to be in a safe and hygienic environment. Dr Bateman, as always been so thorough and took the time to listen to our concerns and answer our questions. They provided a clear treatment plan and made sure we understood everything before we left. Dr Macmillan performed the surgery for both our kittens, and provided us with updates after the surgery and what we should expect. One thing that really stood out to me was the professionalism of the staff and how they made it very easy for us. They were knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do, and I could tell they genuinely cared about our cats well-being. Overall, we had a great experience at the Eglinton Veterinary Clinic and would definitely recommend it to other pet parents. The staff were friendly and helpful, the care our cat received was excellent, and the facility was top-notch. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Dr Watson (and his team) is so kind, caring and knowledgable. I've been taking my pets to Eglinton Veterinary to see him for decades. I trust his judgement and know my animals are receiving the best care possible. Some people just have a way with animals, and he certainly won the lottery with this gift.

This is the best vet clinic I have ever been to in all of my years owning animals (cats, dogs and horses). All of the vets, techs and staff are kind and knowledgeable and are always there to answer any questions. They performed a laparoscopic spay and gastropexy on my mature Greater Swiss Mountain Dog (16 months). I live 1.5hr away (my clinic does not perform these types of surgeries) as I wanted the best for my fur baby and I haven't been disappointed. I was worried 5 days after surgery as her pexi incision started to bleed/drain as my girl was getting more active and is moving around a lot more then I want her to! I sent (emailed) pictures at 7pm as I was worried I might have to send her to an emerg clinic asap and I thought they were closed, but they called me less than 30 mins later easing my worry as they showed the vet my pictures. explained the wound was draining and some of the stiches are dissolving/getting a bit loose, and sent an antibiotic script to the pharmacy I work at that night, so I had it the next day. I wish I lived closer as I would go here in a heartbeat! I highly, highly recommend Eglinton VF to anyone and their fur babies <3

I've been training my two dogs here since puppies for over 3 years now and can't say enough good things about this vet; the staff love and care for our pups and truly care about the animals. I highly recommend it.
