The
worst
possible
experience
of
my
life
at
this
clinic
-
their
negligence
could
have
cost
me
my
life.
First
of
all
the
receptionist
are
very
dry
and
rude
with
you
(blonde
one).
2)
I
visited
this
clinic
in
July
2019
having
symptoms
of
shortness
of
breath,
chest
pain
and
exhaustion.
An
ambulance
had
already
come
by
my
apartment
to
assist
me
and
they
deemed
me
as
"okay"
even
though
the
chest
pain
never
subsided
-
I
communicated
this
concern
to
the
doctors
at
this
clinic.
They
had
done
a
preliminary
check-up
under
Dr
Yu
and
decided
to
refer
me
to
a
cardiology
clinic
to
conduct
a
Stress
Test,
24hr
Holter
and
Heart
Ultrasound
the
same
week
and
following
Monday.
3)
I
performed
the
Stress
Test
the
following
day
and
failed
it
due
to
my
shortness
of
breath
-
the
same
day
I
was
given
my
24hr
Heart
Monitor.
The
following
day
I
went
back
to
this
clinic
to
review
my
results
of
the
Stress
Test:
my
symptoms
were
worse
at
this
point.
I
could
barely
walk
to
the
bathroom
without
nearly
collapsing
and
I
was
so
mentally
distraught
and
anxious
I
was
having
trouble
communicating
my
pain
but
I
checked
off
all
of
the
boxes
for
something
more
serious
and
cardiac
related.
The
male
doctor
I
was
seen
by
had
asked
me
if
I
had
any
history
with
anxiety,
I
said
yes,
5
years,
but
in
my
opinion
and
knowing
my
body,
this
wasn't
anxiety-related.
He
had
the
audacity
to
tell
me
I
should
probably
see
a
psychologist
and
"up"
my
medications
-
with
that
he
also
said
my
Stress
Test
was
"suspicious
yet
inconclusive"
leading
him
to
believe
there
was
nothing
urgent.
4)
Fast
forward
to
the
following
Monday,
I
received
my
Heart
Ultrasound
and
am
still
awaiting
my
Heart
Monitor
results
to
be
discussed
at
the
clinic
-
I
begged
the
cardiology
centre
to
fast-track
these
results
because
I
was
truly
suffering
at
this
point
and
extremely
worried
but
also
doubting
myself
because
"it's
just
my
anxiety"
according
to
this
doctor.
5)
Wednesday
I
was
admitted
to
Toronto
Western
Hospital
for
8
days
in
ICU.
Cause?
Pulmonary
embolism
with
severe
heart
dilation.
6)
5
days
into
my
ICU
admittance...I
finally
received
a
call
from
this
clinic
to
come
into
THEIR
office
and
discuss
my
results.
I
responded
and
told
them
I
was
already
admitted
into
the
ICU
and
to
never
call
me
back
again.
The
receptionist
obviously
didn't
relay
the
message
because
I
received
another
call
on
the
7th
day
in
ICU.
7)
To
Carleton
&
Church
medical:
your
staff
was
negligent
and
your
male
doctor
associated
my
life-threatening
condition
to
anxiety
and
me
being
an
overly
emotional,
hysterical
woman.
Your
doctor
didn't
listen
to
me
when
I
begged
for
faster
results.
It
was
truly
ironic
of
your
office
to
call
me
when
I
was
already
in
ICU
hooked
up
to
plenty
of
heart
monitors
because
of
the
extra
week
of
stress
you
had
put
me
through
by
NOT
listening
to
me.
NEVER
AGAIN.
-
Very
close
to
filing
a
malpractice
suit.
