Do not go to this clinic if you value your health and safety. Dr. Yu's treatment of transgender patients is abhorrent. Even positive "reviews" (they're fake and written to troll, one even outright states that they're just writing it to troll) of this clinic acknowledge that it will not give you proper care. Do not come here.

I walked in around 5:30 on a Monday, which is well within hours of operation. The employee told me the clinic was closed and the doctor was not there. They told me that the doctor *randomly* goes to other clinics and hospitals so they can't tell me when they can actually see me. If you need to see a doctor, don't come here because the doc is probably not in.

Although it is conveniently located where I shop and in my neighborhood I'm officially changing clinics. Unfortunately the negative reviews regarding calls not being answered, lack of appointment availability, poor communication, no available doctors, lack of clarity on when/if(very random)? doctors are available...the list goes on. This is for management- why are you making people hear your entire phone message to choose an option only to hear "the person you are calling cannot be reached" at the end?. What's the point? Management....These times have been hard on everyone and your office staff/doctors/patients are all stressed I'm sure but...your entire system needs improvement...better systems that function properly alleviate problems and create better patient care and a less stressful working environment.Also...i read all the negative reviews from the LGBTQ COMMUNITY concerning disrespect...and there are quite a few...please work on improving this...it's just wrong.

I walked in around 6 pm on Thurs. June 16, 2022 and had a terrible experience. I walk in and a man was already waiting in front of an empty receptionist desk, and I could hear the phone ringing nonstop. I sit down and wait over 5 min, and the man (who was there 3 minutes before me so he was already there for close to 10 minutes) starts looking around for a person. The receptionist walk out after we call out “helloooo” a few times and she just tells us that the doctor is not in past 2 pm even though their hours say that they are open until 7 pm. She then goes on to say that the doctor is not in on the weekends either. I understand that Covid brought a lot of strain on the healthcare system and there must be a lot of underfunding and shortages going on, but I was curious as to why there is such disparity between the hours that the doctors are available and the hours listed on the website. I feel as though they wasted my time completely. This experience was even made worse by how rude the receptionist was. It makes me think that she is not treated well or something because she was so rude for no reason. I was reading the other reviews and honestly think we should NOT be supporting this place.

The worst possible experience of my life at this clinic - their negligence could have cost me my life. First of all the receptionist are very dry and rude with you (blonde one). 2) I visited this clinic in July 2019 having symptoms of shortness of breath, chest pain and exhaustion. An ambulance had already come by my apartment to assist me and they deemed me as "okay" even though the chest pain never subsided - I communicated this concern to the doctors at this clinic. They had done a preliminary check-up under Dr Yu and decided to refer me to a cardiology clinic to conduct a Stress Test, 24hr Holter and Heart Ultrasound the same week and following Monday. 3) I performed the Stress Test the following day and failed it due to my shortness of breath - the same day I was given my 24hr Heart Monitor. The following day I went back to this clinic to review my results of the Stress Test: my symptoms were worse at this point. I could barely walk to the bathroom without nearly collapsing and I was so mentally distraught and anxious I was having trouble communicating my pain but I checked off all of the boxes for something more serious and cardiac related. The male doctor I was seen by had asked me if I had any history with anxiety, I said yes, 5 years, but in my opinion and knowing my body, this wasn't anxiety-related. He had the audacity to tell me I should probably see a psychologist and "up" my medications - with that he also said my Stress Test was "suspicious yet inconclusive" leading him to believe there was nothing urgent. 4) Fast forward to the following Monday, I received my Heart Ultrasound and am still awaiting my Heart Monitor results to be discussed at the clinic - I begged the cardiology centre to fast-track these results because I was truly suffering at this point and extremely worried but also doubting myself because "it's just my anxiety" according to this doctor. 5) Wednesday I was admitted to Toronto Western Hospital for 8 days in ICU. Cause? Pulmonary embolism with severe heart dilation. 6) 5 days into my ICU admittance...I finally received a call from this clinic to come into THEIR office and discuss my results. I responded and told them I was already admitted into the ICU and to never call me back again. The receptionist obviously didn't relay the message because I received another call on the 7th day in ICU. 7) To Carleton & Church medical: your staff was negligent and your male doctor associated my life-threatening condition to anxiety and me being an overly emotional, hysterical woman. Your doctor didn't listen to me when I begged for faster results. It was truly ironic of your office to call me when I was already in ICU hooked up to plenty of heart monitors because of the extra week of stress you had put me through by NOT listening to me. NEVER AGAIN. - Very close to filing a malpractice suit.

Probably worst clinic I’ve been too. I came in with a serious issue and the doctor had to GOOGLE THE ANSWER in the room with me! The next time I was in for a prescription, same doctor, I asked for a specific type of medication and was ensured that’s what I was getting. I had weird symptoms so I googled it and it turns out he tricked me into taking a medication for something I don’t even have. Not to mention its impossible to reach anyone on the phone, the receptionists are rude, and getting referrals takes MONTHS for them to fax. It’s just so disappointing.

For the third time this month, the 'no longer taking patients' sign is on the door way before this walk-in clinic closes. Very frustrating. Are we expected to clog the ER system? Show up 6 hours early if you want a small chance at speaking to a medical professional for basic care. See photo attached (and clock in the background) -- the location closes at 7pm, and the sign was displayed before 4pm.

Not sure what I was expecting when my skin clinic referred me here. When I walked in I saw two receptionists who didn't even acknowledge me or offer to help me, and another lady who was eating her lunch also saw me, and didn't offer to help me. I had to walk up to a lady behind the desk, and ask her to help me. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!! I went to the clinic as a walk in at 1:45 PM and the lady I spoke to told me I wouldn't be able to see the doctor till 3 PM which is ridiculous because there were only two patients in the waiting room. I left the clinic and never came back. I was appalled at the lack of treatment I received. I'm not sure who the supervisor is at the clinic, but if I could I would report them. Clearly they have zero customer service. If your in need of a medical office this place aint it. Go elsewhere. You'll thank me later!

Quite negative experience. Sitting at the waiting room for 2 hours until I could get a doctor. I was told by the receptionist that I could come in before 6:30pm. However, when I arrived at around 5:30pm, the receptionist started to tell people who came in after me that the doctor was fully booked. There’s apparently some communication needed to make customers fully understand the doctor’s availability so that customers could adjust their plans accordingly. And obviously this should be done, and be done well by the reception department. The receptionists at the front desk seemed to have a bunch of free time. What I’d like to mention at the management level is that putting much resources in the reception department doesn’t solve the problem from the bottom as compared to hiring one more doctor. I could tell that the doctor was working nonstop all the way, and checking with 3 patients in a row without drinking a single drop of water. The management might need to adjust their workload arrangements before this doctor quits his job.

UPDATED MARCH 2023: Since Covid they rarely have Drs on staff, they don't answer phones and take forever to respond - even though all restrictions have been lifted for over a year! Their hours are listed for show as they often don't have any Drs on staff, their telephone appointment request "system" (remember, this is a walk-in) is to email an unsecured gmail address which they respond whenever. Some days appointments are over the phone, some days are only in person, and some there's no Drs at all, but there's no way to know in advance since they're very hard to reach. The few Drs they have are not very competent passed the common ailments so if you don't have a family Dr to fall back on to properly treat you, I'd avoid this clinic all together. Today, March 14 2023, I emailed in the am to see if they could see me. Also tried calling but the phones aren't answered. At noon when I still didn't have a response, I made my way there and they told me the Dr wasn't accepting more patients because they reached their quota for the day. They "close" at 7pm, it's just before 1pm and they're not accepting more patients today?!!!! What's the point of this clinic?

This walk-in clinic is in the southwest corner of the Loblaw's supermarket in Maple Leaf Gardens. Both the receptionist and the doctor were patient, kind and friendly with my kids, and took time to answer all my questions. Great to know there's a reliable place downtown I can bring my kids to be looked at on a Sunday if needed!

The front end staff are incredibly rude and dismissive. They look like they absolutely hate everything. I've never been to a walk in clinic where I felt so unwelcome or uncomfortable. They don't look at you like a person, you're just a problem. I even overheard them insulting other patients, calling them annoying or disgusting behind their backs. How is this acceptable? Who the heck is managing this place... But the problem goes much deeper than this because the doctors aren't very helpful or friendly either. They didn't even call me when they got my test results back from the lab. The antibiotics they prescribed me didn't work and my symptoms began to worsen. When I called to ask for my test results they said it was my fault for not calling. How am I supposed to know when they've gotten my test results back? They said they'd call me if they found a problem, which they did! All you can do is shake your head..

I visited the clinic due to acute lower back pain. Dr. Yu was very thorough and professional. He checked my condition and ordered X ray exam to rule out possibly of fracture etc. My only issue is on how the test result is communicated to the patient. After waiting for a day when I didn’t get any call from the clinic, I made a phone call to the clinic to inquire about the result. I was told by the receptionist that they did receive my X ray report. If I didn’t get any call from the physician means nothing to worry about. I hope it is true but how can I be sure that the doc did review my result? I would expect that the doc calls the patient on the result regardless of the result. Thanks.

Located in the Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens, this clinic primarily caters to both Ryerson University students and residents of Toronto's Gay Village. Visitors can find the clinic by the pharmacy on the first floor of the grocery store. The staff is often very busy because of its location in downtown Toronto, so just be patient and they will provide you with clear instructions and good service. It is important for visitors to take note that since this is a Walkman clinic, service is a little slow so just plan ahead and arrive early.

I payed 100 $ as student ,just for visit the doctor. After while that I was waiting in lobby was my turn and it's time to see the doctor, and apparently she would be ready for next patient but again I was waiting more than 20 minutes in the room to see her. I am so mad of the service that they gave me, even the doctor wasn't patients enough to listen to me. I did two tests. After two weeks they didn't call me. I made phone call two times for inquiries about the results. Finally, the results was negative they didn't call me even to tell me there is no result. How it comes, I have sign and problem in my body they didn't gave me any pile or advice during this two weeks I am still sick and nothing changes how this could happen? And the receptionist even was so bad temper to give me the service. As student I paid 100 $ for nothing.

This clinic is disorganized and the staff are disrespectful. I came in just after it opened and it was already completely packed. I sat for about 30 minutes and there was no movement at all, I started hearing the receptionists talking about 2 hour waits - when I asked how long the wait might be for me (first and only time I asked), I was lectured about how "people like me" asking questions are why the wait is so long. I chose to leave as I then heard her complaining about me to the other receptionist. There are plenty of other walk-in clinics in Toronto so I will pass on this one in the future.

I recognize that during this pandemic caution must be exercised and I respect that. But there's no mention on Primacy's website of an appointment required to speak with a doctor by phone before being granted an in-person appointment in the clinic. We are three months into this pandemic (which is easing), if this place is no longer operating as a "walk-in clinic" then this is newsworthy and should be posted on the landing page of their website the day procedures changed! The only way of discovering an appointment is required is once you arrive at the clinic and are greeted by a photocopy note posted on the door... along with a half a dozen other make-shift signs, warnings and and convoluted instructions. Very unprofessional. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE... communicate clearly!

This is the worse walk in clinic I have every attended. I went into the clinic a a walk in. I was told I’m next, then another gentleman walk in and he got service ahead of me. Then when I step out to use the phone, being polite so as not to disturb the other patients. The reception locked the door behind me. I ask why she did not give an explanation. Only that the doctor said to close the door. Then I stood outside for another :25min as she lied water my time and told me the doctor will call. I am obviously of a different ethnic back ground and I don’t ever want to get into it, but this is an obvious case of you know what. If any one has any tips of how to reprimand this clinic please advise? Thank you

Waited in line for opening, receptionist started taking patients, about 12 people seated waiting to see a doctor. I was halfway through being signed in when the receptionist took a phone call. No doctor coming in. Come on guys, I get that there’s a doctor shortage but ZERO notice? You can do better. You’re wasting people’s time. The poor lady I was next to in line said this was the third time in a past few months it’s happened to her. Absolutely. Appalling.

On both visits the wait was not bad at all (I arrived in the morning on both occasions), the receptionists/staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. The clinic is very clean and orderly. Been here a couple of times now, long wait time and doctors are inexperienced. I told one doctor my throat feels inflammed she looks at me and raised her voice "what do you mean inflammed." I looked back at her thinking how are you a doctor? The male doctor I had once was better. He suspected I had strep throat but they didn't have the rapid test so he mailed in my swab for a 48 hour test. I got a call two weeks later telling me it's positive and I should go back. I am not sure if they realized strep throat is contagious and is a flesh eating disease that need to be treated right away? I am not going back there again.

The doctor I saw was patient, informative and knowledgeable. He explained my injury in detail that I was able to understand. The reception here was slightly rude and disorganized on the phone, but we're nicer in person, so could have just been a hectic day. And the wait time was relatively short, but during Covid you have to book an appointment. If you go here, it's inside Loblaws on the West side up the little flight of stairs. I would go here again.

Horrible service , EVERY TIME . I live close by so I come here anytime I need to , but EVERY TIME there's a new problem... From them randomly not accepting new patients within 20 mins after they open, to the doctor just randomly not being in during the work day, and when you finally DO get a doctor, they literally won't do anything without 1000000 specialist apointments, I first came here in 2020 for a cyst behind my ear, it's now almost 2023 and i'm still being juggled between doctors because the one here works so poorly.

I made an appointment to get a vaccine at 10 am, but when I went there at 10 am they told me there is no doctor at that moment and I need to come at 2 pm for the vaccine. I lost 4 hours although I had an appointment. Also, when I had been there for the first shot of the vaccine, the doctor had asked me where I had bought the vaccine. I told them I had bought from a pharmacy which was located 30 mins distance to the clinic. The doctor had asked me to go back to that pharmacy and make the refills send to another pharmacy which is next to the clinic, so that I can buy the vaccine from there because the vaccine shouldn't being effected from anything as temperature. If 30 mins was too much for the vaccine, why I waited extra 4 hours today with the vaccine in my bag? If ,t was not too much, why I had been asked to waste my time with making the refills being sent to another pharmacy? I had come in the clinic a few times, I was thinking all the staff is professional and the wait time is shorter until this unpleasant experience.

I am so happy and honoured to say that I attended this place of business on Tuesday December 13, 2022 around 9am. After seeing doctor Victor who was so courteous and informative I left not realizing that I had dropped my wallet which contained all my bank cards, identification, my last $40.00 until payday and my permanent resident card, but the lovely and honest nurse that was at the reception had the courage and wherewithal, to look in it for an id and then found me in their database and called me (There is no breech in my eyes, I see this as helpful and concerned) she then offered to wait for a while, as she was about to report off duty, so that I could collect it, unfortunately I couldn’t make it in time as I had to go to work and had just gotten a flat tire. But here’s the stunning part, I got there a little after 9am on Wednesday December 14 and my wallet with all the contents was there secured and before just handing off to me she verified it was me and then handed it over. This is service beyond the call of duty. I would like to commend this person and encourage anyone who reads this to bless her with a reward. Thank you so much, I can only imagine how difficult life would’ve been had you not found me and contacted me. I am great full beyond words.

This used to be a fantastic walk-in clinic but after COVID the quality of the service its just awful they never pick up the phone, they are always “fully booked” even that the clinic is empty and the front desk is just useless.

Cannot be relied upon. Closes whenever they feel like it and doesn’t update their website when they do. So, the first you know about it is when you, the sick patient, having made it to the clinic is greeted with a paper sign on the door that it’s closed ‘due to technical issue [sic]’. 🙄

The doctor at this clinic is not professional. Dr. Holly Lam did not listen to my concerns and at one point she interrupted and snapped at me and then apologized after. Does not seem like she’s emotionally stable.

waited 3 hours for an appointment, dr said he could only look at 1 issue because of the wait times for other patients so they had to keep it to one issue so they could look at other patients. I was the last patient and he only talked to me for 4 minutes then left.

Don’t waste your time. I made an appointment and was canceled on twice. While on my way to the appointment after having to leave my job 2 hours early I had to call and ask if I would be seen and I was told no. I’m filing an ethics complaint with this place. I NEEDED MEDICAL ATTENTION.

Great clinic. Jenn the front staff was super friendly, professional and prompt. She made the visit so smooth. The clinic is very nice. It appears newly renovated and was spotless which is reassuring in a time like this. I would not hesitate to visit again.

Would give 0 stars if possible. They are always closed even hours before their set times. Arrived today again at 5:30 when they're listed as being open at 7 and they were closed. No mention at any of the front doors so you only find out after walking through the entire Loblaws and potentially infecting everyone. Horrible clinic, horrible service, awful logistics.

Dr. Lam was thorough and listened to my concerns attentively, and proposed a plan moving forward. The reception was diligent and efficient. The experience was well contained and safe during COVID. Much gratitude to frontline workers!

The front desk is hella rude. She hang up on me before I finished my words and never finished booking the appointment for me. I had to book it online by myself eventually.

This is the best walk-in clinic I have been to ever. They are extremely thorough and ensure the patient is comfortable as well as being treated for the correct diagnosis. The best word to describe this clinic and the doctors within it is THOROUGH. There is nothing worse than going to a walk-in clinic and the doctor just prescribing you drugs for what they think might be the case. These doctors are so polite and listen to what your concerns are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Don’t bother visiting this place after about 4 pm. The posted hours state that the clinic is open until 7 pm, which is a misleading waste of everyone’s time. The doctors all leave at 5 pm. Every person who makes the trek there fruitlessly because of such false advertising should be sending THEM a bill.

This is hands down, the best walk-in clinic I've ever been to. They are so nice, professional, quick and highly effective. Each time I have gone here, i have seen a different doctor but they were all equally as compassionate, informative and reassuring. If you're looking for quality service and superb medical advice, you need to check out this clinic!

Amazing walk in clinic! I have been twice at different times and the wait wasn't long at all. Sign up was simple and both doctors I've dealt with were very professional and helpful. My condition was treated properly and I will definitely go back again. Usually walk in clinics are very rude or take forever, but not the case at all here.

The receptionist was nice and wait time wasn’t long. Dr. Shan is very professional, detail oriented and caring. She was very patience listening to my issue, checked me throughly and explained clearly of my sickness. Highly recommend this place and the doctor.

I went to this clinic with an urgent issue the day before I was meant to travel out of the country for a week. Because I arrived close to the clinic's closing time (still well before it closed for the day) the administration staff informed me that the doctor would not be able to see me. I informed both the staff and the physician that I had an urgent issue and was told this was 'not their problem'. It was an upsetting and dehumanizing experience, and I would never go to this clinic again as a result.

There are too much unnecessary procedures to see a doctor. And I’ve been waited doctor’s call over 40 min, but she said that I had to go to ER. I don’t need to go there, though. Only I wanted to document to take X-ray.

I've spent 4 months trying to get a prescription refilled. I was told it was sent to my pharmacy but it never arrived. Haven't been able to reach them through the phone to have it fixed.

Went through the ordeal of getting my sick toddler there on a Sunday at 11, and found a “not taking any more walk-ins today” sign on the door. An hour after they opened. Receptionist at the pharmacy next to it said it’s a recurring problem. Call before you try to come, don’t trust their hours.

😠 I booked my very needed appointment as ive been in not the best shape for 10 months, and about an hour away from any doctor. told them this, they still canceled my appointment 10 minutes after booking it. Ended up having to book with a different company and doctor for a further away date. My fiance...

👍👍 Infinity Health is by far the best walk-in clinic I have ever been to in my life. Their front desk staff are so tentative and friendly. 😠 Used to be fantastic - and to be fair, I have had great and prompt service in the past when communicating with them via email. Walk-in clinic
😠 The worst clinic in the history of clinics. They don’t care about the patient at all. I went in on a rainy day to seek medical attention and the receptionist added my name to the queue and told me the wait time will be 1-1.5 hours. This is not bad for wait times for clinics in Canada. 2 hours later...
