Walk in clinic

😠 I would give 0 stars if I could. This clinic don’t deserve 1 star! Having been sent to this clinic for a walk-in, I called to ensure they accept walk-ins. According to the receptionist, walk-ins are welcome until 12pm! I got there in a hurry with my sick baby at 11:40PM. When I got there, they told... People often mention doctor, clinic, time, called, told, appointment, staff, wait, call, doctors,

I went today to get my blood pressure check as I was in the area and felt extremely dizzy, the lady at the counter asked me to go to the nearest Rexall, I went to the Rexall and they told me they do not have a pressure kit so since I was feeling very light headed, I went back to the clinic and asked them to get it done. The same lady at the counter told me to wait and went inside and spoke to a Nurse, after a few minutes she came out and told me that the nurse has decided not to take my pressure even after requesting it urgently. So I asked the lady at the counter if I passed out due to low blood pressure because you didn’t check it for me and as a duty of a health clinic to make sure a patient has been checked, when they are not feeling well— she said it was not her problem if anything happened to me. Mind you, the clinic was empty. This would’ve taken them less than a minute but they chose to treat me like my life wasn’t important. Do we have to keep such unpleasant and heartless working people in a doctors office? Please whoever owns this place make sure to change the staff. This is extremely rude.

This morning on the way to dropping my son to preschool, he began to complain that his mouth was hurting. So my wife decided to take him to a walk-in clinic. The walk-in that my wife usually goes to informed her that they don't accept children. So she started to call around and when she called MCI at the atrium they told her that they would see children but that she needed to get there before 11:00. This was at 10:05. So my wife rushed over and managed to arrive with my son at 10:50 only to be informed that they were no longer taking walk-ins. When my wife mentioned what she was told on the phone, the secretary simply said that the doctor has instructed them not to take any more walk-ins. My wife tried to plead with them to honor what they told her on the phone and to see our sick son but they turned her away anyways with these arbitrary rules that they are making up on the fly. Whether it's the secretary's fault or the doctor's fault, I don't know, but it's clearly a very poorly managed establishment. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Discrimination is real and I felt it. You be the judge after reading my experience…I arrived at this place at 11:22am. When I got in there were two ladies sitting at the reception desk I said good morning and they ignored me After standing there for about 10 seconds the lady said “do u you have an appointment “, not good morning how can I help you. I told her no and she said appointments were closed for the day. I said thank you and took a seat, because I had to wait for my partner who was doing physio the same time. About 5 minutes in as I waited a white male walked in for walk-in service, I watched as he was immediately greeted by the same two ladies. He told them he was for walk in and they told him walk ins were closed, but then offered him a phone consultation or an appointment for tomorrow. About 5 minutes later another white male walked in and got the same treatment. At this point I felt so bad and thought to ask the lady why I was treated the way they treated me. She offered no explanation and after speaking with her manager, the manager apologized to me and corrected the both of them the same time. I’m just done with being treated like garbage just because of the Color of my skin. I thought this was a country free of discrimination and anything inhumane. I will never come back here….😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬

Very unorganized clinic. Initially when I called the receptionist was not accurately recording simple information such as spelling of my last name and my phone number. I was told a doctor would call me to do a screening before they could book my appointment. I did not receive a call nor did I have any voicemails. Yet when I called for the third time later in that day their records indicated that the doctor had already called twice. Upon calling the next day in attempts to book an appointment for that day. I explained the situation from the previous day and the receptionist was quite rude and again the doctor did not call, nor did I have any voice mails. Finally after calling the office a week later for the fifth time and explaining the situation I did receive a “screening call” from the doctor to confirm that I needed a TB test for school (any one of his receptionist could have done this I’m sure). After the nurse administered the solution, she then proceeds to tell me there will be a $45 charge for filling out the paperwork. This would have been nice to know during a phone call prior to the appointment as another clinic will do the paperwork for $15 and had I been notified of this information I’d have made different arrangements. Lastly my reading appointment was booked on a Saturday at 10:00 am and I received a confirmation text to confirm the appointment. Upon arriving at 10:00 am, I was told that the nurse doesn’t arrive until 11:00 am. I informed the receptionist that my appointment was booked with the doctor and that the previous receptionists had been discussing this amongst themselves during the time of the appointment. She informed me she wasn’t sure why the appointment was booked that way. She then went to speak with the doctor who refused to see me for a less than 5 minute appointment/ sign the paperwork for a negative test because “he has a long list of patients to see today”. There was not a single person in the waiting room nor was there anyone outside the door waiting to come in. Needless to say the communication and organization of this clinic among both staff and patients could be improved.

Came in with a sore throat when swallowing, a fever, no cough, no congestion. Ayman Alabari spent all of 60 seconds before confidently announcing it's allergies and prescribing advil and a nasal spray. Had to find a real doctor elsewhere to get treated for the strep throat, but I guess another bottle of Flonase doesn't hurt

I feel really bad writing this review because I have dealt with some amazing physicians at this place. But I have recently dealt with Aymen Al-arabi (I refuse to call this guy a doc). He is extremely rude and doesn't care at all for the patients health. He is only here for a paycheck. I have gone through other reviews and noticed I am not the first person to have an issue with this man. MCI keeps giving everyone the same "bs" reply... I don't mean to put down the poor kid running the MCI communications dpt, but maybe s/he should forward these reviews to someone who can do something.

Wait time is not accurate. When the wait time online is less than 20 min, it is accurate and it was really less than 10 min waiting. But, when it says 30 min, it was actually longer than 1 hour wait. It looked like no one is waiting, but people went to atrium or eaton centre to kill their time. This online wait time needs to be improved, otherwise, I would not have gone and waited more than 1 hour when I am sick.

I called in letting know my medical condition and they asked me to rush in before tje clinic closes. Only to make me wait for long. And then the arrogant doctor heard me out. No empathy, no concern, didn't check me out and asked me to go an emergency room. If they know they aren't capable of handling certain cases which were clearly stated over the phone. Why make the patient rush in. Why not just guide them in the right direction from the beginning. Why waste precious time in a medical emergency? And the woman who came and heard me out was so rude and didn't have an ounce of care or humanity. Stay away from these guys if you need real care. They have no diagnostic tools. Don't waste time here!

Worst clinic and worst doctor here. Dr. Al Arabi is the worst and horrible doctor. He doesn’t even listen to the symptoms or what the patient is going through. How the hell he is even allowed to practice. He prescribed me medication without even listening , i felt being rushed. While explaining him what I’m going through-he said please say what you are asked for and dont say anything extra. Felt intimidated by his behaviour. Will never ever recommend this clinic to anyone.

Uncaring mess of a clinic. Don’t return calls after appointments. Don’t have any clarity of which doctors are available. So much for free healthcare. Stupid set up. The other reviews are true.

I was attended by Dr. Stephens for sores inside my mouth. He heard me but did not check me physically. I went to the pharmacist to pick the medication he prescribed and the pharmacist said that this medicine is not for internal sores. He had called the doctors office to discuss but did not receive a response. It has been over 20 hours. One last thing, this doctor sweared when he was hearing me. Very unprofessional. I don’t know of the other doctors at the clinic. So this review is for the doctor and not the clinic.

We went twice to get an intestinal worm sorted out. The first time the Doctor gave us the wrong testing kit which resulted in an invalid sample - waste of money. The second time, we went straight to LifeLabs to get a new kit and sample so that only the results had to be sent to the Doctor. This whole process has lasted over 8 weeks and we still can't get any feedback or response as to how to fix the problem, plus we cant get access to the results even if we wanted to go elsewhere. In fairness, the admin staff are grossly overworked and understaffed. The overall experience however is horrible. I 100% recommend that you use a virtual Doctor who you can meet at anytime and who will get back to you!

I have used MCI services in the past and have experienced pretty good service at all of their locations except this one. The degree of disorganization here is insane. First red flag is that the receptionists ask you the reason for your visit loudly and in front of everyone in the waiting room no matter how intimate your concern is. Second, I booked a phone appointment with doctor Alrabi to discuss a time sensitive matter and he completely forgot to fax my prescription to the pharmacy even though i had reminded him beforehand. This resulted in me getting my medication nearly 24 hours after I was supposed to begin them which delayed my recovery time. Finally, I had an appointment booked at 10:30am to go over test results on a Monday and It is currently 50 minutes past my appointment time and I am still waiting in the waiting room. To make it worse the receptionists acted like they had no idea i had an appointment even though I called to confirm, and checked in upon arrival. A man who also booked an appointment at 10am before me has also not been taken in yet. There have been about 9 people that have been seen without appointments before us. Complete lack of regard for people’s time. What a waste of time for test results that could’ve been given to me over the phone.

During pandemic times, you cannot walk in (the doors are locked). On 2020-10-27, I called for a phone call from the doctor and was told they would call in 1 hour. After 1.75h, i called and was told there were 2 more calls ahead of me. After 15 mins, a nurse called me to get details. Then the doctor called a few mins. I managed to get a prescription over to phone sent to my pharmacist of choice. The doctor told me they would fax the prescription in 5 mins. I went to the pharmacy after 1 hour and the fax wasn't there yet! Then it turned out it just arrived! The pharmacist told me that clinic usually takes 1h to fax things. In 2019, pre-pandemic, their efficiency was improving with wait times 5-15 mins. I guess the pandemic made them less efficient again. ---------- The review below was written in 2017-10-21. I've been coming to this walk in clinic for at least 12 years. It is inside the Atrium on Bay at the Bay St entrance. It is brightly lit and clean. There are busy time (1h-2h wait) and not so busy times (15m wait). The intake person is pretty good at estimating the wait time so I can confidently go away and come back 20 mins before the estimated time). Within the same clinic, there are family doctors, chiropractors, and Sutherland-Chan massage. Sat Oct 21 was an unusual day. I registered at 12:20. They had some patient emergency around 14:00 (I found out because I asked about the delay). They closed their intake registration by 14:15 even though they close at 18:00. I finally got into a doctor's room at 14:50 (2.5h later). The doctor who saw me admitted one of their doctors didn't show up. ------- If you like my review, please give my review a thumbs up and click on my profile pic (at the top, on a mobile/cell phone), and click on "Follow"). Thanks.

I have never had issues as some are saying they have had. Professional service and courteous front desk staff. I use this location when I know I can't see my own Doctor due to his busy schedule. I have always been treated with respect no matter the problem.

Don’t come here. Doctor doesn’t even examine the physical problem. My visit was honestly 2.5 minutes max. Doctor literally said to me while I was talking “just answer my questions”. I literally told him what I think I have and he just agreed and didn’t check himself. Horrible service, just wants to charge the government and make his money and get out. Don’t go here.

I would rate this 0 star! Dr. Al-Arabi Ayman was very rude and did not acknowledge the pain I was expressing to him. He threatened to ban me from the office! He told me I was yelling at him...reading the reviews about the doctor does not make me alone anymore! If yelling is expressing pain that I am experiencing then I suggest go to another clinic. He does not have the least sympathy and he is very controlling in his words. Management team, I strongly suggest you relieve Dr. Al-Arabi Ayman of his duties. He is not giving the right help people need and he is very controlling and rude with his patients. That is not what a professional environment should be. Never have I experienced such nonsense in a clinic with a doctor.

*ACTUALLY CLOSES AT 7* I got there at 7:05pm November 19th. I was desperate for a prescription that would stop my herpes simplex 1 (cold sores)from spreading. I knew exactly what I needed and would have taken 5 mins with the doctor. The place was dead not a single soul in there and yet they refused me saying they stop taking patients at 7pm. I was there at 7:05pm after running 2 blocks to get there after work. I understand a doctor needs to stop taking patients before the office actually closes but there was not a single person there waiting to see the doctor. Now I will have to wait until tomorrow. They do not understand the damage this is going to cause. I came directly from work thinking there was still an hour before they close. If it wasnt completely dead in there I would not be so upset. What kind of doctors office are they running? This is inhumane and basically torture since I could have gone somewhere else but now it's too late to get to any other office. How dare they turn someone away when there is not a single person waiting to see the doctor. I wish I took a picture. It's absolutely absurd. Never ever ever returning. Some sheisty doctors office they are running. Guess the doctor sat there for an hour sipping tea.

Worst doctor!! Dr. Al Arabi. I paid 110$ consultation fee to show my swollen forearm. He didn't even see my arm and told me to get an x-ray. So I called an emergency and they asked me for a written requisition from the doctor. The doctor said he is not going to put his name on paper. What is the problem in giving me a written requisition for the same thing which he told me verbally. Is he afraid to take responsibility for what he recommended me? Is he a real doctor or fake? Lol afraid to give written requisition for what he told ... So he himself is not sure about what he recommended me. No wonder The doctors Office rating is just 2.4 . Clinic that wants only money not patient's welfare.

Worst clinic ever. This is my first google review I have ever made but felt it necessary because the entire staff here is incompetent. I have been going here for a couple years due to proximity and it is only getting worse. From wait times, to screening process, obtaining results, customer service. Doctors only care about making it through their list of patients. Each one has rushed me off the phone and didn’t make me feel heard. Save yourself the inconvenience, this place is a waste of time if you want to be taken seriously. Edit: I have been waiting for a referral after being seen by Dr. Alarabi. I called begging to be heard and the doctor said, I can't do anything more for you, go to the emergency room” and hung up. I asked him questions about the tests to relay to my new doctor and he didn't answer, he hung up on me. I’m in shock. Awful doctor and does not care about you.

Dr. S, do you remember anything you told your patients ? One of my family member called this location and had a virtual visit with Dr.S. He asked for the nearest pharmacy address to send the prescription “right away”. The right away made us waited at Rexall for an hour after the call and nothing was sent. We tried many times through the day and the last trip to the pharmacy at 6.30 pm and nothing was ever sent. The front desk also appeared to be annoyed by this after the third attempt to reach the doctor. Now that makes me wonder what kind of care this “medical precessional” provides if he simply did not remember anything. DO NOT EVEN TRY to copy and paste your bot message as a reply. (Let’s see if they will do it anyway)

Dr. Miriam Myers and I had a consultation this week and needless to say I regretted not checking the Google Reviews before our appointment. Right off the bat her attitude was not friendly at all. I went into the appointment incredibly vulnerable and in need of medical help and all throughout the consultation she was super rude and ignorant. She kept expecting me to know the medical process of everything I needed when that was literally the reason why I went to her in the first place--to get guidance! I will not be returning and I will most certainly not be recommending this place to anyone. DO NOT GO HERE! I know it's hard to get a walk-in clinic appointment nowadays but please explore your options.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I called to book a virtual consult for a massage therapy referral. After the consult, I called the front desk to get my referral. I was informed that it would cost $40. This came as a complete shock to me because: 1. I had gotten massage therapy referrals before with no charge - they said it's because the doctor I spoke to today (Dr. Le Blanc) charges for massage therapy referrals. 2. At NO point in my interactions with the clinic was I informed that I would have to pay a charge. I was told at literally the last second. 3. The work is already done. The note has been written. You are charging me $40 for an EMAIL that only needs to be sent. I'm livid at the non-transparency of this clinic. $40 is NOT cheap for some people, especially sick people who are coming to you for help. Dr. Le Blanc - why are you charging $40 for a note that took you 30 seconds to write? Disgusted with this place and not only will I never return, I will tell everyone who considers this place to not go. You respond to all negative reviews with the same line - instead of placating genuine worries with meaningless platitudes, why don't you actually make positive changes to your service?

They are extremely bad. I have been with them since almost 7 years and they want me to PAY to request my file information in 2015. This is my record and even if its in a storage I still do not think its appropriate to request for a payment for a vulnerable ask as I need this service and I have a right to have my record and file information anytime I need it. The also were not appropriate of consistent. Yesterday someone told me that they will call me before Friday and today I call to follow up they tell me I have to pay? Which I was not informed yesterday about it. I requested to take my file and close it with the clinic and they denied the request stating using her exact words :" This is not your information its the doctor's" . There is no respect to the client and definitely its centered on the clinic needs only not the clients needs. It it was up to me I would give them zero stars

Based on my own experience and the reviews I have read, Al-Arabi, Ayman needs to either fix his attitude or this clinic needs to find someone else. Horrible experience. Worst I have ever had. Dr Al-Arabi you are a human doctor not some AI robot. He literally checked me for 15 seconds. Was rushing to get out of the room. No sensitivity or attention to what the patient is feeling. Literally felt like it was a complete waste of my time coming all the way in a high fever. I would highly encourage customers to find another walk in clinic.

Met the worst Dr. there. Not going back. I went today, nov 20th, around 10 am. Met by Al-Arabi, Ayman, not sure if he can be called a doctor. The way he talks to the patient is very unprofessional and aggressive. Was just inquiring about a laboratory test. His answer “ I won’t advice you to do it but if you want to waste your money, go ahead”. Before going in, two nurses, that were both friendly informed me that there maybe a choice to do it under OHIP. His reply, “Asked the nurses then to give the endorsement for you.” This man is obviously abusing his powers. This guy shouldn’t be placed there, no patience whatsoever to listen and talk to patients. I wonder why MCI hires this kind of people and why he is still practicing with all the reviews and complaints here. Still debating if I should go through with all the mess and file a complaint with CPSO.

Dr. Alarabi is such an irresponsible doctor. The first thing he asked me was which school do I go to and pay for the doctor’s note in the front desk. I’ve been suffered from seasonal flu and serious menstrual pain and all he cared about is go pay for the note. Didn’t even let me explaining my symptoms and didn’t ask what medications I’m taking. This is unprofessional and disrespectful and I felt so offended. Total visit time is less than 2 minutes and I will never go back there again. So rude. I’m curious how he got his licence as a doctor. I feel sorry for other people who have visited Alarabi.

Just reiterating what everyone else said. The doctor didn’t even let me finish my sentences before giving me a prescription for something that doesn’t even match my symptoms. Also, when I told the nurse I wanted to leave and I had already been tested for what he thinks it is, he got upset and told me to come speak with him in a room. Ended up saying just go to another walk in clinic if you’re not happy. Super fraudulent clinic.

I called at 910 am, spoke to the receptionist then the student nurse called me and then within 15 mins the doctor spoke to me. He said to come in within the hour or 2. Went and was seen by 11 am by Dr. Tan. I had to have my ear irrigated. It was uncomfortable but worth it. I also had to pay $30 an ear...first for me. Never had to before. With all this said. I found them very good and helpful from the front desk to the rest of the team. I would go back again if needed, especially with the nurse I saw and the doctor. Both very polite and professional and took their time.

My wife got infection before Good Friday. Felt very uncomfortable. Lucky that MCI still provided phone consultation on Good Friday. The reception staff was extremely professional (to take notes of symptoms), friendly and patient. Dr. Stevens called shortly after registration, made diagnosis and sent prescription to a nearby pharmacy opened on that day. All done within an hour! It was so reassuring on a public holiday.

Absolutely terrible service. Spent a week back and forth with reception regarding x ray results that were sent a week before, which they clearly lost but did not want to admit. Had to have the imagining place send them over 3 times before they finally "received" them. Attempted to book a consultation but after 6 calls requesting a call back finally gave up!!!! This place was barely helpful before Covid19 and absolutely useless since it. If I could give a ZERO Star rating I most certainly would, but one star will have to do. Hear my warning and go somewhere else that actually cares.

Due to pandemic the consultations are online. Doctor wanted me to run series of tests that could have been avoided if they met in person, which means i could have been in and out of the clinic immediately and have my prescription. Why even operate during covid if you can't provide decent service.

They said they were open until 8pm. I got there at 7pm and they told me the doctor left because there were no patients - which completely defeats the purpose of a “walk in” clinic.

Worst experience ever. The medical results were in but they didn’t tell us until I called. After that they scheduled me with a doctor for the morning and when I called them they said doctor is not here so call in tomorrow. After talking to the doctor, she asked to re run the test. Avoid if you can.

This visit was literally a 5 second conversation as the doctor hardly even check out the patient and just prescribed some balm for a so called "allergic reaction". I understand the severeness of the pandemic but this is still unacceptable for a visit that only last 30 seconds. Overall the place itself is very clean and new, and has a in house pharmacy.

Dr. Leung is a great physician. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, and takes the time to address patients concerns. Unfortunately the reception staff are incompetent. I work in healthcare so I have realistic expectations. They try to hurry through phone calls stating "I'm busy". This is disrespectful and unprofessional. I moved and since changed family physicians. When my new doctor's office called to obtain my records they were told by Dr. Leung's reception that they have no record of my being a patient (untrue - when I called they admitted this error). I hope Dr. Leung reads this review and can provide some guidance to the reception staff.

This place is absolutely PHENOMENAL! I have been coming here now for ten years and Dr. Alarabi, is such a caring and outstanding doctor. Anytime I have a issue I come in and he figures it out better than any other GP I’ve ever had. He’s non judgmental and so professional. The receptionists are also so nice and Helpful. I’m so thankful to the Doctor and staff Here. Thank you so much and bless you all!

The woman works at the front desk is very disrespectful and rude(she has a little light brown skin, straight black hair, and is around 5-5’2). She constantly talks over the patient/people. Even when I call the office to book an appointment, she gives me the attitude and hangs up on me while I am still talking to her. She gets annoyed by me asking her questions. She looks mad all the time and is always yelling, which ruins my whole day every time I go to this MCI the doctor’s office Atrium.

Booked an appointment Got there on time They still made me wait 1 hour before seeing a doctor and when I met the doctor she didn't want to give me more than 2 mins of her time. She didn't clarify most of my questions and told me that this is a walk-in clinic and for more questions I should book another appointment.

Called in the afternoon to ask for a test to be done same day. Receptionist told me the price and that I could come in later in the day. When I showed up they told me there were no walk ins after 11AM. They didn’t offer to help in any way. Just turned me away and told me that unless I had the receptionist’s name that I spoke with. They would not do anything for me.

I have been going here for probably more than 10yrs receptionists need better training on how talk customers if the first impression is not good by the front desk staff ,i wouldnt want to go there or book an appointment there.I call MCI a few times to book an appointment last week I decided to go to the location to see why they not picking up the phone so I sit in the food court where I can see the receptionist and all three people was laughing and having a good time so while I made a few calls again to book an appointment they ignored the calls I decided to enter the doctors office and ask why they not answer the phone a lady told me that there was no walk in after 11am which I also see the sign but she didn't answer the question why they not answering the phone so I could book an appointment. Today I call again an the receptionist giving attitude from the start of the phone call the person or doctors who run the medical clinic need to check how the receptionists are talking to the costumers too much attitude.People are coming for care not for attitude. Not going back here

I've used this clinic numerous times now, both in-person and for TeleHealth appointments, and the admin staff is always friendly, helpful, and generally on point. Wait times are always reasonable and the doctor's listen to your concerns and take them seriously and get you results. I was genuinely shocked to see that their rating was so low as I vastly prefer this clinic to any other in the area!

  • 5/5 Elizabeth L. 3 years ago on Google
Im so surprised that this place has a smaller rating. I've been going here for years since I have issues with my family doctor. They were always nice to me and professional. For the covid times, the doctors called me pretty accurately (when the receptionist said 30 minutes, they called within 30 and if they said 1 hour, the doctor called in an hour). I never had to wait longer and you can even request a time preference. My prescription gets faxed to my pharmacist right away (maybe based on location because my pharmacist is at Dundas and Spadina, the Rexall).

Stay away. They cancel with no notice, the doctors left without prior notice to the assistants or patients and do not return. They are open until 5 but stop taking calls at 4:30 . Everything is terrible

I read the reviews and was really surprised that this is a great place, with friendly staff, and despite the inconvenience of COVID they made it simple and efficient to be seen. No complaints here, and thanks to the team.

Dr Hamedanchi, Dr Al Arabi, Dr Shafrika (sp?), are very understanding, professional, they use the symptoms I have taken from google on my phone and work accordingly with/through them. Dr Hamedanchi is the one who detected my heart murmur and he and my cardiologist are working together on it. The one doctor I will never negotiate seeing there is Dr Tam. He is the WORST!! He doesn’t bother relieving my anxiety by reading the info I bring and he doesn’t even let me explain my symptoms in full. I don’t remember the one receptionists name but she’s always there during the week and she is so rude, acting like she doesn’t even want to be there which shows. I’m actually heading over there today and I’m hoping that one of my favourite doctors is working and this receptionist is not. It helps when I get there they already know that I want to see either Dr Hamedanchi or Dr Al Arabi.

The online waiting time estimate was accurate which showed <20 minutes. I arrived before 4pm on a work day and saw a doctor within 10 minutes. I was happy with the doctor and the nurse who dressed a wound. No complaints from me.

  • 4/5 David K. 4 years ago on Google
Normally, excellent service and some excellent doctors, however their Saturday is listed as open until 6pm, I arrived at 5pm, with nobody in the waiting room, and an infected thumb, all I wanted was a prescription for antiobiotic or advice on treatment; I was denied registration, as registration was said to have closed, THEREFORE, kindly change your opening hours to reflect denial of registration at 5pm or list the registration hours not the 'opening hours'. It wastes the patient's time -- this is an administration error. Fix it, please.

On the contrast , I still haven’t received any call from my registered family physician who I tried to reach before a week !

This one start is related specifically to getting a doctor's note. I went to this clinic for a doctor's note and it cost $25 - surprisingly high. Days later, I needed to get it extended/renewed and asked if the $25 fee could be waived or reduced. Neither the doctor nor the clinic manager, on separate phone calls, budged on reducing this higher-than-average fee at all. I called 4-5 other clinics in the same area and all of them charge $20 for a doctor's note. So, if you need a doctor's note, don't go to this clinic.

My family and I got into touch with progress medical clinic to get support and gynac's referral for my pregnancy. Dr. Melina Hong was very friendly and supportive during those few visits. Later during another emergency, we came back to the clinic and were treated by Dr. Jerry as Dr. Hong was away. We really liked him as well and finally were able to find a good, competent family doctor for our newly expanded family. He is very knowledgable and competent. The medical staff (nurses, lab assistants, receptionists) at the clinic is also friendly and strive to provide timely and prompt services.

And seven days a week doctors are available which is really appreciated. They do have blood pathology services which is another advantage, so we don’t have to go other place and wait for appointment for blood test and pharmacy start doing delivery which is wonderful. This is like all in one place. I recommend.

I started going to the clinic 3 years ago as a walk in patient, after a few visits I decided that I would want Dr. Melina Hong to be my family .physician. There were several reasons why I came up with this decision. I was very impressed with how Dr. Hong treated her patients, her bedside manners are incomparable with any doctor I have ever encountered. She is very knowledgeable and she listens to what the patient is saying. The staff, Gina, and Ake are very professional . I have never waited more than 20 minutes to be seen by the doctor whenever I go there without an appointment. The pharmcist is very knowledgeabe and helpful. I have recommended this clinic to my sister a few months ago and she was impressed, now it is her go to walk in clinic. Keep up the good work!! Rudolph

Unprofessional staff. The male nurse who gave a injection didn't even tell me that he is going to give injection. After finishing he didn't tell me that , vaccination is done you can go now. I need to ask him is it done ?? He walked out. I have to ask him what should I do now ?? When I went next time female nurse called me to go to see doctor but it was not my name . She just called out the name and pointed me to go inside, she assumed that it was me based on the name and nationality. After o asked her what is the name you called out?? Then I told her it's not me. She didn't even say sorry. She carried out to call for the name again. Third time -- I went for vaccination for my daughter. This is the first time she is getting vaccination in Canada. When the Chinese nurse gave me a yellow vaccination card after giving injection there is no name written. I asked her this card belongs to whom?? There is no name. She told me to write it on my own. Is she not legally responsible for her action?? Staffs are very unprofessional. But still I go there because of the convenient time the clinic is opened.

Dr. Jerry, the staff and the pharmacist at Progress Centre Medical are so friendly and helpful. To be honest, it’s the most quick doctor visits I have every time I go. Long exhausting wait times don’t exist here! It’s always so easy to get an appointment and they are quick to deal with walk-ins. Dr. Jerry is Very informative and makes an effort to be as helpful as he possibly can be towards his patients. The pharmacist is also extremely nice, helpful and prompt to answer emails, should you have any questions about prescriptions! Definitely recommend both the doctor and pharmacist!

The doctor who called was extremely cold, unempathetic, and downright rude. Hung up the call with no clarification on the next steps. The people at the reception are nice but the healthcare provider is disappointing.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This clinic don’t deserve 1 star! Having been sent to this clinic for a walk-in, I called to ensure they accept walk-ins. According to the receptionist, walk-ins are welcome until 12pm! I got there in a hurry with my sick baby at 11:40PM. When I got there, they told me walk-ins were no longer accepted. I told them I had called to confirm and the woman had said they would accept till 12 p.m. I begged them to ask if the doctor can see my baby because she really needs to be seen and I’ve already paid a $20 Flat rate parking fee. None of them even bothered asking the doctor. They don't care about the patients and have no considerations. Avoid this clinic!!!
