This has always been a wonderful spot to enjoy a wide lake view. Now it's even nicer with the comfortable "TO Canada with love" deck chairs the city added for Canada's 150. Be forewarned that it is a very popular spot at peak times.

This is the starting point to hike the Humber River Trail north. The area there is nice and they even have some relaxing chairs to sit at and look at the Toronto skyline.

Lovely spot to view the city, specially if you want to catch the sunrise. The area is always well maintained and has Muskoka chairs, benches, and boulders as makeshift seating. Great stopover if doing a long-ish ride or run along the Martin Goodman Trail, or even as a destination. There are small shops nearby and a coffee truck on the weekends.

What an amazing park and lookout point for the city skyline 😍 Sometimes due to a sunny day, parking might be hard to find but lots of parking nearby!

Super wonderful. Not crowded. Great view. Lots is space to sit and is located where the historic Humber river drains into the lake. If you walk along the river from here you can at least in your ind reimagine how the natives came upto the lake along the river

Great views of the city and a popular point to take a break from a walk or bike ride in the area. Easily walkable from the waterfront trail and has ample places to enjoy the view. You can usually always find people here enjoying the skyline and Lake Ontario views.

Love this place. The look out has Muskoka Chairs to sit on atop a hillock and on the viewing point. Sitting here, you can stare at the beautiful view of CNtowers across the lake. The calm lake, dotted with sail boats makes one feel calm and happy...a must go to place in Toronto.

This a wonderful little space to relax on spring, summer or autumn day. It is a public space that is LGBTQ2S friendly. There are Muskoka chairs to sit in, large rocks to relax on and a scenic view of Sunnyside Beach and the Toronto city skyline. There is an interesting display discussing the sun, including where the sun rises and sets on the Toronto shoreline from this lookout point. Bathrooms are available during the warm summer weather just over the bridge and a kilometre down the trail towards the beach. If you are in the area this is definitely a place to visit. Just dress accordingly for the weather.

Excellent walking & biking trails with beautiful views of the Humber river and the Toronto skyline. Offers a wide range of recreational and rewarding activities for all ages on and off shore. A must visit scenic site in the city. Parking could be a hassle….but hey…nothing a bit of patience and perseverance can’t overcome!

Pretty sick place for looking at water. My girlfriend said the water is half half. I don't know what that means.

Sheldon Lookout is situated right where the Humber River flows into Lake Ontario. It offers stunning views of the shoreline and downtown Toronto. There are several little monuments to admire as well. You can sit down in one of the numerous colourful chairs. It's a great spot to relax and let the mixture of beautiful nature and big city life sink in.
