Sausage was good. I had the beef rouladen it was salty must have been sitting in the roast pan for a while. Pork chop was tender but not juicy. Schnitzel was bland. I won't be back but the ambience was lovely.

We ordered delivery from Little Bavaria Restaurant about two weeks ago and the food was pretty delicious. We had the Pork Hock with Gravy (special) with Home Fried Potatoes and Sauerkraut, and the Bavarian Plate with Spatzle and Red Cabbage. The Pork Hock was meaty with the skin still crispy, the Krainerwurst (sausage), Schnitzel and Kassler (cured pork chop) were perfectly cooked and juicy. These were large plates and the sides were also quite tasty although perhaps the potatoes and pasta needed a bit more salt but, it all worked well together. If you live in Scarborough and you are looking to try something different from the typical offerings then, you should consider this place.

Apparently this restaurant has been open for 40 years (since the 80s). It was my first time trying German food. This also happens to be another restaurant I randomly Stumbled upon. It was indeed an interesting experience. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

An east end landmark establishment, Little Bavaria’s kitschy interior is over the top in all things stereotypical German. And that’s an amazing thing to find in today’s over designed interiors. You know something good is going on in the kitchen with the continuing thumping of schnitzel preparation. You are coming for the schnitzel and there are no less than 20+ options: from basic to cheesy, traditional to spicy. The red cabbage and spaetzle are a must! While it isn’t my Oma’s recipe, it’s a very close second best. 10/10!

Got the chicken schnitzel, it was delicious and they were so generous with the cheese which I appreciate. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Quick and efficient service too.

Located at Markham Rd and Eglinton in an old plaza Little Bavaria has been here since the late 80s. The inside is really cute and quaint, making it feel like you're in Bavaria. Service is exceptional and their portions are great. Average price for Schnitzel is about $20 which include sides and soup. I had their Münchener which was lovely, topped with melted cheese served with potatoes, sourkraut and creamy tomato soup it was more than enough. Would recommend if you're in the area

An old fashion traditional German food restaurant. My Jaegar schnitzel was great and my husband had the pork hocks, which he also thought was excellent. The restaurant is dated but I believe that adds to the charm and the atmosphere.

The decor feels like you're in "little bavaria". They did a great job to capture that. The food was just amazing! I forgot to snap a picture of my entrée because it was so delicious. Instead of spaëtzle, I got the potatoes. Potatoes were a bit dry, get the spaëtzle. The schnizel was incredible. I had the Tiroler Schnitzel. My spouse had the Rahm Schnitzel, which had chopped up schnitzel in the sauce, not as great, tasty though. We split the schnitzel between us and that made a good combo as we could have the mushroom schnitzel dipped in the mushroom sauce. They don't have kids meal per se. You can get the adult meal, and they can make it with a smaller meat portion for 75% of the cost. We instead opted for one adult meal for the two kids to share, and that worked out great! Parking is limited in the lot. Service was great for our large crowd! Had a great time!

Exactly the vibe I was looking for to feel like I'm back in Europe on vacation. The schnitzel menu is two pages and come with so many classic sides. Cannot emphasize enough how cute the decor is, and very attentive staff!

This restaurant is a great place to try out German food in the GTA. Exceptional service but food was a bit of a rollercoaster. We started off with the herrings which were so good that they set the bar up high for the upcoming food. Next came the escargots which were a bit burnt, so we lost momentum. The pork hock is usually the daily special and the meat was falling off the bone. Along with the Spätzle it comboed really well! The sauerkraut was however not up to the mark. The schnitzel was cooked really well but the red cabbage along with it was not as fresh. The cream of tomato soup was really good with the German Rye bread and usually comes as an option instead of the salad with the mains. The restaurant should also add a few more appetizers to the menu as they just have three in comparison to almost 5x entrees. I would've given a three star review but our server took really good care of us and the service sometimes does sway you away from the food. Authentic but could be better.

Come only for the Apple Strudel! I was hungry for a schnitzel and we were in the area, and after reading some good reviews we decided to give this place a try. Really not worthy except for the strudel. Service wasn’t good either, but the strudel was magnificent and it’s why this place still got 3 stars. Sorry I forgot to take the picture of the strudel. I was so disappointed with the food that didn’t have good expectations for the strudel but I’m glad I was wrong. If I ever come back to this place is to have this delicious strudel again.

Johnny (owner) is so kind. Everything is made in house. I go with a friend once a month and we have tried the entire menu, everything is good! The vegetarian schnitzel was surprisingly delicious and as a meat eater, I have ordered it several times. The washroom isn't accessible so just something to keep in mind. We will be back (monthly, like always)!

To those who disagree with the authenticity of the food, I disagree. Their schnitzels are REALLY good. And the menu is HUGE. The service seemed rather non interested in his job but the owner was super kind and ensured we had a good meal. I thought the food was better than The Prague and some would argue that The Prague is a more upscale restaurant. Perhaps the atmosphere is more upscale, but the food is better at Little Bavaria. I prefer the vibes WAY more at The Prague. Although Little Bavaria is great for an experience, we went on a Friday night (after COVID) and only one other table walked in. It was super slow and also, I felt overwhelmed by all the decor. Not sure it gets dusted enough. Feels a little dingy and claustrophobic for me, but it feels like it could be a novel experiment for some.

Tried pork hock for the first time today, it was indeed really good. Well Cooked, tender meat served with gravy. Also must say, the soup was really nice. It's on their daily special for a while.. just try if you haven't. Nice cozy place with great service.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. Very cozy and nicely decorated with several tables. We ordered chicken breast schnitzel which came with a bowl of soup, homemade fried potatoes, and mixed vegetables. We enjoyed our meals and will come back again.

Great for large or small parties, adults and kids. It's something different than the typical restaurant. Was happy with the service and food. The munchener schnitzel is my go-to dish.

Great services but very poor food quality :( we went at Sunday night and we ordered their daily special. Bread was completely cold and dry, no offense, but tasted like bought from Walmart…Soup was really good tho. But the pork hock was terrible!! The pork hock was not crispy at all, and not freshly. Also you can see has so much hair on it…. Definitely not German style. If you come here for pork hock, I really don’t recommend…But their service was good tho

The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. They have so many varieties of schnitzel and many other German dishes such as pork hocks, beef rouladen, bratwurst and sauerbraten. The apple strudel here is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.

This site is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I I need a delicious dinner, this restaurant comes straightaway to my mind. fresh and many types of food and a rich cuisine.helpful staff members, and pleasant vibes. Also important, the cost is honest. I tell about this place with pleasure.

Not an authentic German restaurant. It may be decorated like an old fashioned german restaurant but that’s as far as it goes…Food was not authentic and did not taste like old school authentic German food. Very miserly portions as well. Restaurant was also a bit dirty. In addition, there was no hot water coming from the taps in the bathrooms, so one can only assume there is no hot water in the restaurant for washing dishes...We travelled a great distance and should have called before we came, as were expecting much more authenticity from this restaurant and it felt like false advertisement to my family.

I love the German ambience and have been coming for years. I also lived in Germany before and have been to Munich - very authentic style and food. Huge selection of schnitzels and the spaetzle is delicious. Great hearty portions just like the Germans do. Highly recommended!

The food was incredible!! I have been looking for a place in the city that makes Rouladen and they appear to be the only one. So of course I got the rouladen and it was perfect! It comes as a meal with salad, potatoes and veggies. We also split a cabbage roll as a starter and it was fantastic. Service was great and attentive.

We have never been disappointed with this little gem. My favorite is the peppercorn schnitzel with spatzel and red cabbage. The meal comes with a choice of soup or salad and a basket of rue bread. Johnny and his family are very personable and welcoming. We're so glad to be able to return here for indoor dining.
