Very peaceful place to be in even for just awhile.. especially for non Hindu people who doesn’t have a clue..(like me!) Most of the history of this place, one will find on YouTube since it’s very difficult to explain in my simple language. I know for sure that the materials they used to build this Holy Temple were from Italy and some were carved in India. All were of high quality granite and the other parts/building are all meticulously carved fine woods. Oh, just so mesmerizing to look at. The Founder (in my mind) looked like a Holy man and also they have a statue of their Saint in the middle of the adjoining buildings. I took a picture even though I am almost aware of no picture inside the temple, but since the Saints statue was outside the temple, I hurriedly snapped one. Hope you guys like it too, I do! At a certain hour of the day, there was a service, first in my life to witness one so very solemn service.. I think it touched my heart and calmed my whole being almost close to shedding tears while listening and witnessing this awesome service.. Anyways, ample parking is available and the temple is also accessible by public transportation. Come and enjoy and give your mind and heart some source of breathing calmly and respectfully. PEACE!

So peaceful, calm and beautiful that I wanted to stay the whole day here. It is well maintained and open to all. I would highly recommend visiting at least once even if you’re a tourist or a local in GTA. It’s accessible and there’s lots of benches to sit on too.

This place is so nice and serene that how much ever good I write about this eternal place, it's not enough. This is a must visit place near Toronto, Canada, not just for Indians but also for any foreign nationals. It is the best example of rich Indian heritage architecture. Place is highly clean and maintained very well. You need to observe lot of silence which only adds to serenity. Highly recommended to visit with the family. Please do check visit timings before going.

Amazing place and architecture with marble. Very clean and peaceful. They have times mentioned for aarthi and pooja, and you can plan you visit accordingly. They have ample parking space and lane to drive up close the main entrance of the temple to pick families with infants or people with special needs.

Extremely organized and clean. Huge parking lot. The staff is so polite and humble. There is no photography allowed inside the temple. And they have a baby room (with toys) and a good variety of fresh food options at the cafeteria. A definite visit. I will absolutely come again.

The BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto is an epitome of divine beauty and spiritual tranquility. From the moment I entered the sacred grounds, I was immersed in a sense of profound serenity. The awe-inspiring architecture, intricate carvings, and serene atmosphere make it a truly remarkable place of worship. Visiting the mandir was a deeply enriching experience, allowing me to connect with my spirituality on a profound level. It's a sanctuary of peace and enlightenment that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking spiritual nourishment.

Excellent place to worship. The temple accepts everyone from every community whole heartedly. Best hindu structure in entire Canada that must be visited if you are around Toronto. The museum consists of a great history of sect. The place lets you feel ultimate peace and harmony.

This Hindu temple located in highway 427 near Pearson airport is unbelievable beautiful. The temple is made by white marble without any steel fixed structure. The whole temple is covered by carved pattern and status. It is a strong shock at first sight. While going inside, it is super clean and even more beautiful. But cameras and phones are not allowed.

Peaceful! Beautiful architecture and amazing vibe. Ample parking! Shoe racks, jacket stands and small lockers available. Washrooms are clean and accessible. The museum is a good one time visit. Gets a bit disturbing when people or kids make noises in the temple as the sound echoes. But amazingly peaceful if you get to experience the quiet times.

We were visitors there today, and we felt appreciate that staffs were welcome us to visit this place at the gate and the entrance of the temple. Thank you. It was absolutely worth to visit this place if you live or visit to GTA. This place is super exotic; the decorations were so delicate. Wanna visit here again in summer when the fountain works.

An absolutely incredible Indian temple in the heart of Toronto. Once you step inside, you're transported far from the city's hustle and bustle - it's hard to believe you're still in Toronto. The interior design is breathtaking, with beautifully hand-carved wooden walls adding to the authentic ambiance. Although photography inside the temple isn't permitted, the memory of its beauty will stay with you. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike - I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Visiting from Vancouver, we found this temple when googling hidden jems of Toronto. We visited this temple after our Niagara visit and before dinner at La Castile. You have to pay to view the actual temple but the cost is well worth it! First, you cannot take pictures inside. And you have to remove your shoes. Floors, walls and ceiling are all marble. Very clean, bright, immaculate! Words cannot truly describe the inside. The actual temple, everything was hand carved in India and than shipped to Toronto. Truly amazing to see. The sculptures you see on the outside resemble how the inside looks. Must see if you're in Toronto and love art, religion and artitecture or building construction! You'll really appreciate this temple.

This temple is a beautiful example of India craftsmanship and the art design of various parts of India. The temple is spread over vast area and can be visited both as a spiritual place and if you simply want to gaze in awe at the beautiful building from the park. PLEASE NOTE: The temple requires that you dress appropriately to enter it. If you are wearing sleeveless Tshirts or dresses/skirts above knee length, they provide free drape to cover yourself. 1. The temple has enough parking space to parking is not a problem. 2. The temple has a museum with very affordable tickets (I believe $5) and the museum has good material on history of Shri Swaminarayan maharaj and on Indian culture. 3. The temple has a gift shop with a lot of content for adults and kids alike. They have many books in Gujarati too. 4. Temple has a food shop too where you can buy tasty Gujarati sweets and snacks. Overall, we visit here oftenly and its just a beautiful place, no matter how many times you've come here. Must Visit!

Beautiful Mandir (Tample). One can see excellent wood and stone (Marble) carving. It reminds me Delwara Tample's Marble Carving situated at Mount Abu. It's above all and hence need not require any rating. It's pleasure to see such type of beautiful Tample at Canada.
