This park in the northeastern edge of Brampton offers a fairly nice hiking trail in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There's some really nice forested areas but there's also some trails that are too close to Highway. I did enjoy the fresh air and the trees and the quietness of the surroundings. As you can see in the pictures that I've attached there's some really lush natural landscape and we barely ran into anybody over the course of our 1 and 1/2 hour trek. The one thing I was disappointed about is that there was quite a bit of litter along the way in some areas. This is reflective of the people who frequent the area. I wish we could impose fines for people who litter in in the woods.

Visited with family in the first week of November 2021 and really like the beauty of this area. The conservation area is located on the north of Brampton and very famous place for pre-wedding shot. Parking space is limited but you will get something. Total area is 850 acre and there are plenty of tracks. Some key tips: - Claireville Ranch and West Bridge are two major attraction - There is good walk from parking lot to the green area - Must carry stroller or wagon if you are going with kids as it is long walk - There are very few places to sit in the area so be ready for walk - Continue on the main trek as some side trek can be difficult for kids and can’t take wagon Must visit place is fall if you want to enjoy the nature.

The place was huge! It's a nice place for a walk. Not much of hikes but so friendly for dogs. The fall colors are beautiful!! Trails were clearly marked and so many trails to choose from. There are maps everywhere. Good terrain for a run or bike too. Many picnic tables scattered for public use. I did not see a washroom though. There are parking available on site. We were not able to go to the stable but would love to try guided horseback riding with my kids next time. I would frequent this park with my dog.

This is a little known but sizeable park just outside the City of Toronto. We had a wonderful 2h walk and only saw a third of the park. Nice mix of paved roads (no vehicles) and well maintained trails. The trails get a little muddy in the winter. Lots of parking, but you need a GPS to find the parking lots. Could use more frequent garbage removal in the off season.....

We are lucky to call Claireville, Castlemore area home. Not happy with the trails project. Why disturb the habitat and nature. Ever since the project started animals are coming up the valley. We been spotting foxes on our street and in our neighbourhood parks. When we purchased our homes 10 years ago we were promised Claireville will be never touched . Now 16 years later we are dealing with this project. It’s breaks our heart to see all these trees being cut. πŸ’”

A beautiful slice of heaven in the city. A bird sanctuary where you can enjoy tranquility.

We came as a big group and it was an amazing experience. The scenery was breathtaking and the wildlife was abundant. We hiked through forests, along streams and around lakes, and saw birds in their natural habitat.

Really nice natural area with trees, grass, and trails. Perfect place to try horseback riding. The price is very reasonable in my opinion. The trail is pretty long and includes little forest areas and hills. It’s very relaxing and all the horses are very well trained. 10 out of 10 experience and I’d recommend to anyone going and old.

A great trail tucked into a busy area. Great for a midday escape. The path is very photogenic for any photographers looking for a straight and narrow Backdrop. Not much else to do other than walk, observe and be in nature.

I came here as a volunteer to help with β€œGirls Can Too” summer program and I found it well-organized and insightful. It was obvious that the staff cared about providing children with best experience and help them get ready for their future career. The conservation area itself is well-maintained and ample parking spots are available on premises.

Amazing place to check out fall colours. You don't need prior reservations, parking is based on first come first serve.

Lots of beautiful little spots if you go off trail and just look, like the ones captured in the photo.

Very lovely nature escape but was walking through when suddenly I heard a rustling in the bushes and all of a sudden Aquaman jumped up and scared me a little demanding that I lead him to the lake so that he could command his army of fish. Other than that saw some big mushrooms and a dear

Visited during the week at the end of August with a friend. Took awhile to find each other as there are multiple entrances. Plenty of parking. Lots of trails to explore. πŸ₯° A very pleasant experience for the most part other than the mosquitoes. Wear bug repellent!

This is a property my family owned way back. It's sad to see the barn let go, and it looks like it won't be long before it starts falling down. The property is now being used as a learning center for youth, which is really nice.

Clairville Conservation Park in Brampton offers serene natural beauty and good hiking trails, making it a peaceful escape for nature enthusiasts. It will be beautiful in falls. This park has multiple trails and you can come with family for a day outing. Few trails are closed while few are under development.

Please be careful at Claireville. Went today for a walk with our dog, and came home to find 5 TICKS on him. We did not enter the brush, our dog walked on the barely grassy strip along the gravel trail for a short period of time. Luckily he is on tick meds, but this poses an issue to my husband and if one decides to make its way to us. We are still looking for more. Not sure if they carry Lyme yet, but do not want ourselves or our dog being bitten by any ticks.

This place is only okay in the fall season in my opinion. Spring and Summer it's filled with mosquitos and flies, especially heading into the forestry parts of the trail. It's not a nice experience during those seasons. The views are better in the Fall season, and it's prettier anyways for people who want to take hiking pictures. The trail is good, long and challenging.

Great experience! So organized, Maggie (one of the guides) is great! Will definitely come again. Thanks guys

The soon to open Claireville North trail is a great new connection to the neighbourhoods north of Queen Street. Unfortunately, they have not paved the entire path which means it will be messy on rainy days, and challenging for people with strollers or with mobility issues, and will receive no winter maintenance.

It's a wonderful experience even though the visit was just after the fall

I decided to bike here alone to see if it's worth bringing the family over. The ranch close to queen street requires reservation and is booked until August for pony rides. On the other side which seems to be a walking trail is a beaten down bridge and a small stream of smelly water underneath. If you are looking for a nice walk in nature this is your place. Otherwise nothing much to see here.

Who would have known tucked away in the city lies a bountiful country! Reclusive, quiet and ideal for hiking, running or dog walking. Although, closed for the season with non maintained trails, still easy access with parking outside of gates or at small adjacent parking lot. Be prepared to walk in to access trails with mixed terrain & conditions by footpaths or wider roadways. Not conducive for strollers and or mobility aids, however, still family friendly (children). Noted bird watchers on site for exclusive viewing. It was so enchanting at this time of the year to walk through the woods, somewhat desolate but still lovely. A definite trail runner’s favourite!

Surprising how close this was to home. Multiple entrances. Very clean. Clearly marked trails. Large space. Great place for the pups too.

Gorgeous conservation area. Well worth a trip and close enough to most folks that a day trip is possible. Definitely bring some water, sunscreen if it's sunny and nice out. Not a crazy intensive hike so great for new hikers.

Always walk my dog there during spring and fall. When it's over 25 degrees forget it. Black fly mania. Going there with a couple friends with a bag of weed and some magic mushrooms in your system, you feel like Algonquin Park lol

The main path is wide and easy to walk. There are a ton of little side paths that make for great exploring.

The bit I walked was nice and secluded. Huge area with quite varied habitats. A disappointing amount of trash around in the area closest to the first parking area.

It was a very good experience. I recommend you go there on a weekday so that you don't have to deal with too much people. They have a very good staff. They are very punctual. They give very good training and Weston and Natasha are very good instructors. Overall I had a good time with fam.
